Amazing Resort

It is 5 stars in all its features From the marble floor room to clean satin sheets to white bath robe with white slippers.the pool is crystal clean ,you can see a needle at the bottom. The bar has all imported scotch and vodka. The staff are very friendly they speak English better than I do;very eager to accommodate the guests

Wonderful Holiday!

One of the most beautiful resorts and wonderful staff at this resort! We will definitely return to this resort ❤️ We loved our room and the swim up pool, such a great option, we felt very spoiled! The staff made us very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us, we now love Mexico 🇲🇽

Fabulous resort

The resort was just what we wanted. The staff went out of their way and were very friendly. The food was good. though I think my husband came home with a parasite we will probably not return to Mexico

First Time All Inclusive Travellers

For a first time resorter, it was a good experience. We travelled with a group of 17, and was a lot of fun. We stayed in a Jr Suite and was a nice room. Other's had the swim out room and I would recommend going that route for sure. Tao was delicious, we ate a lot at Yucatan...the buffet was great. Overall a good experience, the staff was amazing and very accommodating.

Great but not perfect resorts

Swim out rooms were amazing. There was lots of wildlife around the resort. Food was good but not great. Room service menu was very limited. Staff was friendly but could have been more attentive to detail. A four (but not five) star resort. Good value. Would return again.

Amazing resort. Everything was perfect. The only I wished for beach to be in better condition. It’s full of sea weeds. There is nothing they can do about it it’s problem everywhere not just on that resort. And we know about it before we booked. Everything else was perfect hotel, room, food was amazing. We loved our swim out room.

A little slice of heaven

The hotel is beautifully decorated. Modern. Grounds are well kept. Staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. Pool side staff are entertaining and great at their job. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the beach and the seaweed problem. Aside from that the resort was beautiful. I had a good time.

Would NEVER Return or use Carrier / Agent Again

So very disappointed in this resort! Been travelling for many years and although this resort was clean and well maintained (on land) the beach and smell from the beach made it very uncomfortable to even breathe and enjoy our swim up. The staff was ok and did what they could to understand and appease their clients. I realize there is a seaweed problem however the resort did nothing to fix the problem as the other resorts I have been to in the area over the last few years. We spoke to a travel age [... read more]nt from a competitor who was there to review the property and was returning to tell them that she could not recommend this resort because she was so disappointed with the smell of rotten seaweed and marine carcus. After speaking to the Sunwing rep at the resort they assured us that the resort updates pictures and hotel information daily to Travel agents so we should have been advised that the beach was closed and un-usable. Not they are having a seaweed problem and the sister resort has a beautiful beach. The beach cleaners were up to their waist in rotten seaweed with masks on. The resorts 24 hour bar and Entertainment/Restaurants were near the beach so we also could not enjoy that because of the smell. Our entertainment came when we paid additional $$ to leave the resort on excursions to find a beach, food and entertainment. Anyway ... there were 10 of us so we dropped over 20,000 and couldn't wait to leave. This is not a joke. I have NEVER given a bad review

Beautiful resort, amazing ammenities and out of this world staff!

We visited the Princess Yucatan for a week and were blown away. The staff remember your name and are extremely accommodating. Its in a great location with tons of excursion options. The multiple pools are fantastic pools with great events daily as well as nightly entertainment in the theatre. Really enjoyable week!

Nice well kept resort, but beach is unusable to to sargassum seaweed. HUGELY DISAPPOINTING!

The resort itself is a beautiful resort. It is well kept and clean. The food was great. Unfortunately, we were not informed of the unusable beach due to the sargassum seaweed. It was DISGUSTING, and the smell throughout the resort due to the seaweed was HORRIBLE. Reviews say a "bit" of seaweed, and smell can not be smelled throughout the resort. This is FALSE.

An exceptional experience!

The hotel was more than we could have dreamed of! The grounds were amazing - kept by the most warm, welcoming and attentive staff. The entertainment was absolutely amazing .. especially poolside. Our room was immaculate. Very clean and the double rain shower is such a treat. I cannot recommend this resort enough - we will be back!!

Won’t be back

Not a great resort for the amount of money. Food wasn’t great, most staff were amazing! Pools were okay, there is absolutely no night life. Beach was horrible. Overall pretty disappointing. The grounds were well kept.

Paradise At The Princess

What a beautiful resort! This was our first ever stay at an all-inclusive, and it did not disappoint. The staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. The pool bars were lively and exciting, with lots of fun activities and great music. The rooms were spacious and very clean. And the food at the individual restaurants was amazing - we especially loved La Bruschetta (buffets left a bit to be desired but were still enjoyable). We would definitely go back again! (Note: Yes. As the other reviews hav [... read more]e mentioned, there was an immense amount of seaweed on the beach, which meant we couldn't really enjoy it. However, we feel that this did not detract from our overall stay since A) we knew about it going in and set our expectations accordingly, b) it is literally not within their control, and c) they worked tirelessly to try to clean it up.)

Not what we expected....

We decided to splurge on this trip, spend more than we normally do and definitely wanted an adults only for our last trip as a couple before baby arrives. Big mistake. The hotel looks nice in pictures but once one takes a better look you will soon realize you paid too much for the resort. ROOM: Our room apon arrival was dirty. The floors were poorly mopped as i was stepping on sand and crumbs. There was blood on the bath tub for the our entire trip, meaning the really just do a surface clean [... read more] even when there is a new visitor. Our Jacuzzi didn't work but they did come fix it asap. When we arrived we didn't have a room service menu so we called down to ask for one. No one came. Tried again with a call, once again no one came. Third call was placed and finally someone brought the menu to find out later it was the wrong menu and we could not order from that menu. HOTEL ATMOSPHERE: We didn't spend anytime at the pools on the resort because there was never any chairs available not to mention they were pretty boring. We couldn't use the beach because of the amount of seaweed that they don't clean. Very limited options at the buffet for any meal and quality was OK. They didn't replenish often enough so you would stand and wait. The a la carts were really good. We did the steak house x2 and the Italian x2. We also tried the Japanese, the show was fun. Quality of food was amazing. The only thing is that you have to wear pants to the a la carts which was never told to us. I didn't pack any pants for my fiance well because its a hot climate! We argued with Charlie in concierge who was honestly no help at all. He just further irritated me by offering pants they lend out in situations like this. I refused because in my opinion its unhygienic, I don't know who has worn them and when its been washed. We ended up taking a cab to playa del carmen and buying a pair of pants at old navy. Don't be forced into purchasing anything at their stores on the resort. So overly priced its ridiculous. We spent majority of our time at the sister resorts which had better entertainment, buffet options/quality and more things to do. It was more lively as well. Don't waste your money on this resort when you will have a better time paying cheaper at the sister resorts. I don't appreciate being told what I can and cannot wear to a restaurant considering the amount of money I've spent to be here. You had men wearing house pants and ratty sneakers but yet you cant wear ironed khaki shorts with a golf shirt.

Great service

Resort facilities are good but not great - food was generally good and service was great. Beach unfortunately was bad. Rooms were nice and well kept however humid and cold. The spa was decent but below standard. Our room location was in the section that had daily afternoon parties so was loud. If I return I would make sure to get a room in the quiet section of the resort which is also near all the restaurants and the buffet while our room was far from that. Despite that the overall exeperice was [... read more] good and service was surpringly great compared to other resorts around that area

FUN , FUN AND MORE FUN!!!

Beautiful grounds, restaurants had delicious food and pools accessible and clean. Rooms were huge and clean!!! Service was *****!!! Only thing I couldn't stand was the beach which was taken over by seaweed and the stench was bad.

Absolutely amazing resort all around!

From the minute we arrived we were in love with this place. From the entrance to the hospitality the minute you step out of your shuttle this place is top notch. The staff in all areas are incredible and very eager to help with whatever you need. The room was stunning. Highly recommend a swimout suite! They had amazing food both at the restaurants and the buffet. I was never disappointed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! *****

Great Resort

Overall the hotel was in excellent condition first class service first class accommodations any and all problems reported were resolved immediately. For an all inclusive the à la cart restaurants were very good the buffets were about average. Swim up room was awesome great place to relax

Beautiful property

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Loved the double rainhead shower. Our swim out room and a large patio area and lots of places to sit. The pool area was immaculate and cleaned every morning.

Platinum Yucatan Princess

I have nothing bad to say about this resort, everything was more than perfect!!!.... except the beach :-( ...lots of seaweed and I was told approx 30' of the beach was lost within a 2 yr period, but cant blame the resort....blame Mother Nature for that) So the Resort: - - I have never been to a resort that was sooooo clean and spotless - the employees were all pleasant and fun, they all went that extra mile to please the guests with a smile - the rooms were very nice and CLEAN, never saw  [... read more]and bug or was ever bothered by bugs - all the night entertainment was amazing !!!!! even the disco themed nights - the food was so delicious from taste to the presentation on your plate....definitely a 5+ and this includes the Buffet!! -the luscious gardens were so perfectly manicured on every inch of the resort... A couple FYI's..... -Bring lots of 30+ sunscreens and were everyday! sun is very strong.... -one cocktail equals 3 cocktails into one cup!!! they are very free with there alcohol (premium brands too) We are definitely going back to this resort ! and I highly recommend it!
