El Dorado Seaside Palms: Nice resort , beach was just ok

The hotel was very clean, however we were disappointed with the beach because we did not have access to the water in our section . The water and the beach sand was separated with a 2-ft concrete wall. We had to walk further out to have access to the water. The hotel and the grounds were great! I would only recommend this hotel if the beach was not an important factor.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Will not be back

We absolutely will not be back and are so disappointed with the experience we had. Many places in the resort smell like sewage. Buffet food is often old, cold, and left sitting. We spent extra to do the character breakfast ($150USD) and were served limited options and cold food, worse than the buffet. The staff is rude and do not care for the guests. The "entertainment" is just guests of the hotel playing "Just Dance" on stage. We had to call daily to have our room cleaned and mini fridge  [... read more]stocked. Unless you are a member of this hotel chain you will not be treated well. We will absolutely be making sure none of our friends and family ever attend this resort.

El Dorado Royale: 3 stars at best. Don’t go.

Pros: food is great. Cons: you can’t get a reservation despite needing one and being ‘gourmet all inclusive’, major timeshare / up sell / monetizing all the time (not really all inclusive), VERY over priced for value, room is dated, beach is not awesome, pools are freezing. We are here as a couple and are hugely disappointed. This is a 3 star resort at best.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: MARGARITAVILLE ISLAND RESERVE, CANCUN

Our experiences at this resort (first visit) was exceptional. The staff were amazing... Especially Diora (events coordinator) and the poolside DJ was so friendly (we played some very eclectic music together) and were a hit with the bar crowd. The food was very good. we were surprised at how long and hard the landscaping crew spent keeping the beach clean and (somewhat) free of seaweed. El Dorado Seaside Palms: Beautiful resort

This was my second time at this resort. I went as one of a group of nine this time and stayed in a luxury junior suite. The other 8 stayed in swim-up rooms. Enjoyed everything from the room to the views, service and food.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: Hidden Gem!

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights. We loved how clean the resort was, it was well maintained. The boutique style made it easy to access all the services. We stayed in the backend on the balcony it was cozy and private.The staff was personable and friendly. If you are looking for an intimate resort, Margaritaville is it. We noticed that staff checked the water quality in the pools every morning. It was the perfect getaway to relax and reconnect. The food was incredible, everything was gourmet  [... read more]style although the portions were smaller we noticed the food was rich and good quality. We also took advantage of the late night room service. We made lifelong friendships at the resort because we felt safe everyone there was kind and genuine. The entertainment was late night karaoke and themed nights, please note this isn’t a hardcore party resort it’s more of a chill and intimate space to reconnect. We also enjoyed that it wasn’t too far from the airport.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Fantastic stay

I had a wonderful stay - the grounds, beach and resort were beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! It was very clean, which I appreciated. There was always someone cleaning wherever you went

Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana Hammock: Amazing resort

Although the resort suffered damage from the recent hurricane, re-construction did not take away from our trip at all. The beach also suffered from the storm but it was being re-developed during our stay. We really enjoyed the laid back vibe, no need to dress up for dinner if you didn’t want to. The food throughout the resort was 5 stars. The staff were so friendly. The room was nicely decorated, spacious. We would definitely return.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: 10/10

The staff are kind and friendly, the resort was beautiful, covered in palm trees so plenty of shade. The food was amazing, 5-star meals for sure. Loved it! Room service was great too, everything was perfect!

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Run down resort

Where to begin - to keep it short, this resort has so much potential, but unfortunately the ownership cares more about the money then the resort itself. The beach is absolutely stunning and along side the fantastic staff of servers, cleaners, bartenders, cleaners and entertainment crew they are the shining light that keeps this place open. Food [... read more] is over cooked and the staff is over worked. Little to none Jamaican food to be offered. The restaurants were disappointing -as the staff did the best they could with the ingredients that were made available to them. The main lunch bar (garfields) went from being open daily serving Jamaican food to a disappointing 3 days on the weekend only. We only found this out when we got to the resort. This was not on AC website nor Azuls website - we were quite upset about this as it was one of the only things we were looking forward to having. The ownership staff was on the resort and were too busy having meetings and enjoying the free food and room to care about the issues with the resort as nothing was resolved during their visit. I first had witnessed upper management see a puddle of water pooling in the buffet which is a potential hazzard for the staff and guests and did nothing about it when it was shown to him. We are in no way hard to please people and always keep an open mind when visiting any resort or destination. However when you are charging the prices that Azul is charging for a so called 5 star resort and only delivering with 2 star accommodations and food then that is where we have an issue. Until there is a major change with the upkeep of the resort, the food and the ownership staff we will not be returning or recommend this hotel.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great Food! Beautiful view - swim out not ideal.

Great food and service within the restaurants/bar. Super friendly staff. We had some trouble with our hot water for 4 days before it was finally fixed. It was frustrating having to spend time trying to get someone to fix it each day but they were always so nice - it’s hard to complain. The ocean view Swim outs are beautiful BUT (floors 2 and up) don’t get much sun so we never ended up using it during the day…Which for me defeats the purpose. Beach was nice on Palms side and they worked so hard to keep it clear of seaweed. Lots of sunshine spots there. We enjoyed the live music, “quiet” party night, karaoke, beach volleyball. The seaside suites pool was VERY loud in afternoon if you like party atmosphere. Overall a great trip with the gals - I just wouldn’t book Seaside Suites for the swim out. Palm side seemed to have some nice swim outs but some were also super shady. The rooms were clean - I gave rooms 4- star because of the water issue - sounded like a common problem for our particular corner room. If you enjoy pools and a swim out for the sun/convenience - I wouldn’t go to Seaside Suite side. Bar was restocked and great room service.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Not worth the price

The resort is okay but was expecting more for the price. The food is fine and the water park is great for the kids. For the price that we paid I was expecting a higher standard of customer service. First, we only had one king size bed and a weird pull out bed that was on the floor. We were not able to use the pull out bed as it had a wooden bar going across that dug into my back. I called room service six times requesting for a roll out bed and they simply did not care. They never sent the [... read more] roll out bed. I ended up sleeping on the balcony for two nights. Needles to say, I spent my entire vacation sleep deprived. For a vacation that costed over $7000 dollars this was simply unacceptable!!!! Forget about swimming in the Ocean. It was riddled with seaweed. We ended up paying over $200 to go to a public beach which did not have seaweed. The nightly entertainment shows were okay. Some staff looked beyond miserable. I would not go back to this resort and would Most definitely not recommend to anyone!

Selection Riviera Cancun: Highly Recommend for a Pool Resort

Pro: 1)cleanliness of rooms, restaurants and pools, 2) choices of a la carte restaurants 3) service 4) comfortable beds, clean linens 5) pools and availability of lounge chairs and shade.br /> Con: 1) Beach is unusable and water is unswimable due to the seaweed. 2) Bottled water, they need to be more environmentally aware since it’s destroying their oceanfront. Need to invest in water filling stations.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Simply wow!!!

This place is nust amazing for family fun. It's well organized, service is fast and impeccable, the staff is kind and hard working and the food was great, with a good variety and fresh. The Nickelodeon park was so much fun.. even for the 40 year olds in us. Finally got to experience the 'slime' I watched on TV as a kid. Will definetly be back!

El Dorado Seaside Palms: No where near 5 stars

This resort at best on a good day is a three star resort for Mexico. It is advertised as a 5 star resort on most sites likely due to the success of there hard sell tactics to get guests to buy memberships and these poor souls in tern provide these inaccurate reviews to protect their investment. We saw many unhappy guests who were savvy to the hussle and know what a 5 star resorts entails in Mexico. All the rooms are dated and not being kept up. The smart tvs are not set up for Netflicks etc. And the wifi is too slow to cast etc. Our fist room flooded, the toilet and TV didn't work and our upgraded room had a better view but the jets on the tub did not work, nor did the slidi g door lock and again trouble with the TV. The food outside a few dishes was horrible, no fresh OJ ever and they try to pass off watered down juice as fresh. The entertainment was second rate and the personal concierge admitted their job is to sell guests memberships. We made the best of it but I will not cushion this review. We have traveled extensively and know what 5 stars requires. For the money you can do better without feeling hussled at every turn.

El Dorado Royale: Nice resort.

Excellent resort to spend quiet and relaxing time walking through the coconut trees. Not good for people who are looking to swim on the ocean’s beach, only swimming option is the pools, where you have many pools to choose from. All dinings were good, my only comment is on the Fuentes restaurant, where the chef teaches you how to cook your diner dishes. My complaint is on the heavy smoke in the restaurant that makes me hard to breathe and my clothes smell the smoke for days after the diner. El Dorado Seaside Suites: Better than expected

This is our second trip to El Dorado resorts by Karissa. Previous was with Royale. So our expectations were high. They were exceeded. We experienced some challenges which were from what challenges all resorts namely staffing. Our room was in some disrepair and lacked amenities like bathrobe etc. But these issues were expediently dealt with. Beach had a weed problem but they were cleaning daily for 10 hours a day and hauling seaweed away. By day 5 or 6 the seaweed was cleared and the water pristine . Best snorkeling. Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Luxury resort for Kids!

Hotel, amenities and landscape was clean and well maintained. Staff was excellent, especially at the coffee shop and Fresco (shout out to Stephanie, she is the best!) restaurant (our two favorite spots). The restaurant food was just ok. If you dont show up at the cafeteria right when they open, a lot of the food starts tasting past due. The Spa is a hidden secret. You can get 2 free 25 mins massages by attending the Prestige meeting where they try to convince to purchase into their timesh [... read more]are. Survive that and you can get a free Character breakfast for the whole family, a free slime and the 2x massages. Once you have gotten your massage at the spa, you can use the spa hot and cold facilities for free for the rest of your stay. Every afternoon when our toddler was sleeping, we took turns to relax at the spa! It was wonderful!

hotel facilities were clean at all times, the staff was great and friendly, the entertainment was good the variety was excellent, service was good for the most part but they need a little more organization

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: Beautiful brand new resort

The hotel itself was amazing. The location was beautiful and a short drive from import. What really stood out at this resort was the service. You always felt like you were receiving VIP service from all staff members. They were friendly and quick to attend to your every need. The food was outstanding and we especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant Frank and Lola’s.
