Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Fantastic Getaway

This hotel was pretty great. We stayed in the Cayo Section and loved the location of the beach and only a few steps to the swim-up bar pool. The beach was spectacular, the food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were decent, could be a little more well kept but good enough to lay our heads at the end of the night. We had a 8 year old and a 16 year old and both had a great time here. We are planning to return!

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Cuba's #1 Resort!

This resort was 98% spotless all the time,from check in to check out,spacious rooms, ample food and alcohol access from any point within,and the beach. From cleaning to maintenance, staff smiles and helpfulness, ?. Lots to do with events daily and nightly. Thanks to Nicole Kirk and the staff at Trip Central, I will diffently be booking through Nicole Kirk and Trip Central again!

Grounds , public areas, rooms were regularly serviced. Food needs more attention, hope kitchen staff will be able to apply proper spices to improve food-taste. Excellent service at the reception area specially from AIRAM that was available all the time to accommodate our needs.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: AMAZING RESORT!

We were a group of 8, and we all enjoyed this resort. The rooms are modern and clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and go out of there way to help. The beach is awesome and you can go for long walks, collect shells or swim in the clear blue ocean. The food was very good for Cuba, some shortages like eggs but we did get eggs for 4 days in a row. None of us starved, there was always something for everyone. Plenty of drinks and pop, they even had rice pudding every night [... read more] which was delicious. We are definitely going back next year. This was my 4th time to Cuba and this resort should be a 4.5 - 5 star. The only negative I do have to say about this resort, is they need to organize the buffet a little better so there isn't long lines and people trying to cut into line to get their food. They had different stations, one grilling fish, one grilling chicken or pork and another doing fried rice for lunch and supper. For breakfast, when they had eggs, they cooked then the way you wanted at one of the grilling stations, and they also had pancakes, but bring your own syrup. I will be sending a email to the resort with some suggestions that our group found might be helpful for the buffet. Big shout out to our waitress at the buffet "Mayumi" - we miss her already! Bring salt, pepper, peanut butter, jam, syrup for pancakes, and coleslaw dressing because they always have coleslaw at the buffet but only mayo for it.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: 2024 Family Trip

Rooms were clean and spacious, we stayed in a family suit with one teenager. Check in and out were smooth and easy. Food was like Cuba, I’m not super picky but not much flavour or different variety of foods. Same things are both buffets everyday. No vegetables only two fruit options. I lived off pasta and hamburgers. The pasta made infront of you at the buffet was the only things hot and staff wasn’t friendly. Burgers at the beach snack bar were ok if you got a cooked one. Italian restaurant was amazing, and service was beyond quick for two people. Japanese restaurant was amazing, sushi was fresh. The drinks were ok, if you found a drink you like stick with it. I tried different cocktails and most were not good. Pool bar being the only shallow area of the pool was busy with kids and adults because nobody could stand or hangout anywhere else. Beach was clean, ocean was clean. Lots of chairs just minimal shade which everyone knows travelling to tropical places.

We had a great time at this resort. 1 Hour from the airport. Super clean. Felt very safe. Wasn’t lacking anything. Lots of food options. Lots of activities. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing Resort

Went from feb 8th thru 15. It was our second time at this resort and still exceeded our expectations! Our housekeeping was amazing and the bar tenders are so friendly and so much fun! The food for being in Cuba was very good! Never went hungry. On Valentines the buffet was out of this world and the entertainment was so much fun that day staring with a foam party at the pool which was so much fun, after dinner they had a mini disco and singers and performers! The Grand Sirenisis an amazing resort. Everyone at the resort were so helpful.The grounds were outstanding and it was lovely to see the wildlife. The food was delicious and well presented. We had an amazing time and would recommend this resort to everyone

This resort is better than the reviews you will read. I just returned from a fabulous week at this resort and everything was great. Food was good except the Mexican restaurant. Pool bars were excellent and the sky bar was amazing

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Return trip!

We went as a group of 4, from Feb 4-11. It was the 8th time for 2 of us and the 3rd for the other couple. A shout out to the beach workers who had quite a bit of seaweed cleanup to do, after 3 days of wind. They work so hard to keep the beach clean for us to enjoy. The staff here all work so hard. We had great food all week. The only items that weren't available for breakfast were eggs, bacon and sliced lunch meats. But there were many other options, lots to choose from. The a la cartes we [... read more]re really good! Cuban and Mediterranean were our favorites. The Ranchon grill was open all week, so we enjoyed grilled chicken, pork, and burgers. The 24 hr snack bar offered sandwiches, pizza, hotdogs,burgers,fried banana chips and fries. I highly recommend trying some Ropa Vieja, (Old Clothes) if you have the chance. It's a shredded, braised beef dish..so delicious. All the staff were amazing, friendly as usual and so hard working. The grounds are kept so clean, workers all around. The cold water pressure in the room went very low a few times, but within 30 minutes, it always came back up. A small inconvenience to say the least. There are a lot of shortages in Cuba, so anything that you can bring the workers is so appreciated. Overall, another great trip...can't wait for the next one!

We stayed here at the beginning of February and the resort was lovely! We got a family suite which was in great shape. Room was cleaned every day, fridge restocked. The grounds were well kept and all common areas and bathrooms were always being cleaned/cared for. The buffets always had lots of food with many options. The pool was very cle [... read more]an and beach was gorgeous and no seaweed at all. Staff was pleasant and friendly in all areas. Water park was very fun, no lines at all. My son did get a couple scratches in his back from the slides but nothing too bad. The bar at the water park only serves beer, FYI, so bring a mixed drink if that’s what you’re into. I normally get attacked by bugs when we are away but only got a few bites all week, and didn’t have bug spray on. Only con I can think of is that it can take a while to get served at the bars. The beach bar was very slow, they need some extra staff out there. All in all, this resort is a great value for the price, very family friendly place!!!

We don’t travel a lot so keep that in mind. The resort grounds were lovely. The customer service and cleanliness could use improvement. The water park entertained the kids but would not be up to Canadian safety standards. Tuck in your elbows or bring a load of bandaids. The slides are like sandpaper. If you require help in your room, be prepared to call many times. Our credit card was also stolen and used. The beach was lovely, although quite a few cigarette butts in the sand. The kids loved the [... read more] waves. It felt safe in the water and we saw a school of beautiful fish. A la carte restaurants were tasty and you could book as many as you want. We avoided the high pressure sale presentation for time share as we were warned in advance. They’ll call repeatedly asking how your stay is and how they can make it better. They won’t take action on your requests and only attempt to lure you to the sales meeting. Would I go back? No, but my kids loved it, great family time was had and we didn’t break the bank.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Spectacular

This was my fourth visit to Grand Sirenis. I have been to other resorts. Grand Sirenis is by far the resort I will continue to visit. Pedro from customer care greeting us when we arrived. Making sure our travel went well and that we got settled into our rooms. Pedro always with a smile on his face greeting us whenever he saw us. The rooms were clean. The beach is fabulous. We really liked the resort: the food was really good, we enjoyed the lazy river, the beach was also good even though you have to pay attention to the rocks, there are plenty of chairs at the beach and pools. Most of the personal is very friendly and helpful, we specifically want to mention Julio Cesar Chan Cumui from the Restaurant Tulum who really went out of his way to make us feel good, was always with a big smile on his face. What I think will make this a perfect place would be to heat up  [... read more]the pools and jacuzzi during the colder season. We would have liked to spend time in the pools but they were pretty cold. Also just as a recommendation the activities were not clearly advertised or at list we could see a schedule until we happen to find a website.. Still, overall this was a great experience, we enjoyed every minute of it!

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: We had great weather!

The weather, beach and ocean was really great. I also enjoyed the quiet pools. The hotel itself was just okay for me. The room was very large and looked very tidy. I had problems with my sliding doors, that never really close properly and were hard to open and close. Also my door wouldn't always lock automatically so I would have to check it all the time. I did not find the employees very friendly or even happy.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: vacation

We were thoroughly impressed. I have been to six other resorts, and this one trumps them all. My wife and I plan on returning next year if possible. I can't imagine a better place to relax. It was awesome.

Grand Sirenis is a clean pleasant resort with with an abundance of friendly staff. The rooms are clean and a good size but slightly dated. Food at the buffets had plenty of choices and specialty restaurants were tasty! Pools and beaches were clean easily accessible. If I ever go back to DR, it's possible I'd choose Grand Sirenis again!

This resort is amazing for either family or couples. The food, rooms, pools etc are wonderful. There is food for everyone from buffets to bbq’s. The drinks are wonderful. The kids section looked so cool. We are thinking of bringing our granddaughter there. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly

Everything was great: beautiful room, amazing food, incredible staff! We saw lots of wild life and the resort was impeccable! The beach is not for long walks but lots of fishes to see while snorkeling!
