Amazing location

The sunwing representative at resort was very helpful and professional The pools were very well maintained Lots of towels and lounge chairs Staff was singing dancing Couldnt have asked for a better vacation Thanks again to staff at trip central Robyn ,natalie and karol thank you againfor everything you guys are awesomel!!!!! Very good resort!

Very beautiful modern resort with many pools, restaurants and nice beach. We had very pleasant vacation during our stay. Amazing service in the bars, very good room cleaning and prompt reception service. Professional shows. Plenty sitting areas and loungers near pools and on the beach. Beach towels available for change all day. Free WI-FI available even on the bus from airport to resort:) Everything was perfect. I would like just a bit more seafood in the menu. I would come back to this resort for sure.

Beautifully kept grounds and pristine beachfront.

Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff worked endlessly to keep it in top shape. Very friendly staff. Great, wide variety of food. The water slides were fun too. Will definitely look for the Riu brand in the future again.

Amazing

I stayed from OCTOBER 14/21. Let me start off with the staff. I am not sure if your boss/ower tells you this often but you guys are hard worker's . I sat and observed your daily routine and I must say you guys are so willing and helpful. Your hard work didn't go unnoticed in my eyes as a tourist. These people are working there to ear a living not to be treated like your slave and amusement. There's no reason to be rude when wanting or waiting for a drink/water. Don't snap ur fingers when calling someone over. It highly rude. The wifi - I must the the wifi was up to my standards. Definitely a big plus consider I had school work to do on vacation and had a full bar of wifi. Your rage is pretty good. Food - the steakhouse is definitely a treat. We went twice and it didn't disappoint me. The mangos at the night buffet is amazing. The cleaning stuff who cleaned out room. Thank you. You guys did an amazing job.... only downfall is we had to look for towels a few times. It happens to the best of us on our jobs. The lobby is good spot to hang out in the evening just to relax with the nice breeze blowing. The night shows was really good. Definitely some talents The WALK - by the time I eat and walked to the room I was tried and hungry again. Lol. If you sent further away from the beach..... the left side of checking ....be prepared to walk ALOT. Thankfully we were in the center. The polls - the polls closer to the beach is where all the loose goose hang out. It was definitely a fun time hanging there. We made so many new friends. The water slide was definitely a FUN experience for my friends and I. I have a fear of highs but it was definitely worth it. I didn't wanna stop. In all this resort is definitely a fun spot. This was my first time at an adults only resort and it was well worth it. You will have alot of fun during the day. Not so much in the night. Apparently there's no night beach party due to COVID. I would recommend it to others. Staff kept up the Good job of making a pleasurable stay for people like myself. You guys did you best to make people like me feel like I got my money's worth

Great Resort!

The grounds are beautiful, the pools are fantastic, the beach is incredible. Food was great, there is something for everyone. Sit in Jorge’s or Juana’ section in the buffet. These people make you feel like family. Also Wellington, one of the pool servers was so attentive to our group and was constantly bringing us drinks in the pool. Great service. The only complaint I have was there was never any change at the front desk to break big bills for tipping. Very nice resort

There are many pools all well kept. Just depends on type of music, if any, you like. Best restaurant was the steak house. We had lousy service at the Italian. Very good entertainment too. I loved the house band. We felt a little old here ‘cause it’s a real party place and most guests are much younger!

Pretty big resort, lots to do! Definitely fun and entertaining. Loved the beach it was clean and the water was nice to swim in. Food was okay, the Al a carts were actually buffets and were okay. Overall really nice place and friendly staff, clean resort.

Amazing Resort

The resort was amazing. It was very huge, clean and modern and exactly like the pictures online. We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurants served good food and you can eat as much as you would like at any a la carts restaurant. One thing I would improve is the music selection, and I feel it should be more diverse to relate to different cultures.

The Ultimate Adult Playground

First the restaurants were phenomenal. The Japanese and Indian were my favorite of the 5 on the resort. we hook hopped all day. The "pink party" was awsome. I could go on and on about the resort but I guarantee if you book here you will not be disappointed.

Amazing resort

One of the best resorts I have been to so amazing something to do at each place food was great only complaint was there was a couple rude front staff that were very rude when my friend accidentally left key in room. And your key card would deactivate alot..will be back to this amazing resort

Great Resort

The resort was clean, staff was very friendly. The grounds and rooms very clean. The beach and pools were great. Would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.We would go back to this resort again

Amazing vacation!

This was our second time at this resort and we had another amazing trip. Food was great and the beach is amazing Stalin was our waiter most meals and he made our stay fun! Can’t wait to go back again!

Unreal Riu!

My friend and I had been searching for weeks looking for the perfect vacation for us. We wanted a clean resort with great food, a beautiful beach, good service and adults only without springbreakers. We had finally found a trip we loved in Costa Rica but it quickly sold out and we were discouraged and on the hunt again. I decided to call the travel agency and got through to Marnie who was AMAZING. She gave me multiple options but highly recommended Riu Republica. We took her advice and all the a [... read more]bove requests had been fulfilled! I have beent to almost 10 all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and this was my favroutir resort yet! Marnie's positive attitude and constant assistance was amazing and I plan on visiting her to thank her when I can! I will continue to use trip central and our travel agent, Marnie, whenever booking another vacation again! Thank you so much!

Lost me as a client

The worst experience ever with the airline and with the resort. Sunwing and Riu chain have lost me as a client. Everything was horrible, starting from the flight, room, food, service, beach and the flight back. Will not ever go there again and will not ever recommend it to anyone.

Amazing Vacation for My Family!

The Resort was large but never seemed really crowded. There were always lots of Chase Lounges, both on the Beach and at the Pools. The people that worked at the Resort were very friendly and accommodating! They were also very appreciative of the tips that my family left every meal. We were a party of 6 and we would all go back again. It was a Great Experience!

Fantastic resort

The hotel was excellent. The hotel was very clean and staff super friendly and courteous. We went on two excursions. The catamaran 1/2 day was perfect crew were amazing and a lot of fun very helpful to get us engaged in the adventure we snuba and snorkeled was a great experience.. Room was great except we paid extra to upgrade room for view and had no view just a roof top which really sucked. our son travelling with us paid no extra and had fantastic view. We went on second excursion experienc [... read more]e not great buggy rides too much selling not enough fun. We were also horrified with little kids running up to buggy’s for money three or five years old could have gotten hurt. Also were not informed we would have to pay 10 dollars for a bandanna so we had no money left for local people’s treasures such as coffee. Our son went years ago and the cave was a highlight then now too commercial he did not enjoy that experience at all. When he went they swam in cave was not a place to sell everything just have fun.would we recommend trip? Maybe?

Clean - Modern Resort(Feb 2020)

Very clean - modern style resort but you need to enjoy walking especially if in newest half ( They May want to bring in a golf cart run back & forth to the beach) If you enjoy sitting on your balcony be very specific when booking we paid the extra for non standard room and requested a nice view - knew it was going to be a courtyard view but our view sadly was of a cement roof - room was very nice but the view sadly took away from our experience as we enjoy sitting outside having our morning coff [... read more]ee and relaxing with a drink now and again Beach was beautiful but long walk from our room and no actual bar on the beach area had to again walk a bit they did have “A” waiter but he was Not around often enough also found way to many venders walking through the chairs trying to sell their items/service ( I feel they should have an area set up and if your interested you will find them) Food was good, did like the beeper system for the a la carte restaurants and found if you went right when they opened (6:30)you did not have to wait and if you did it was pretty quick Also would be helpful if they gave you a list of activities while there as did not find the electronic screen in the lobby very helpful All in all nice resort !!😁

Awesome Trip

For starters I would like to let everyone know that flying with Sunwing is a NIGHTMARE. However the resort was amazing. It was very clean, fun, great service and delicious food. Great resort for all ages.

I would like to mention an amazing employee.......Wilken Florian. He does an incredible job and goes above and beyond for the guests. He was fabulous all week and he always went the extra mile to make my stay happy , helping me when he saw the need.

Amazing resort,

We liked everything at Ria Republican during our vacation last year, so we returned with our friends again this year. The resort’s well groomed grounds, with great food, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms and other facilities, is what we liked the most. This large adult only resort never felt crowded during meals or around many pools.
