Fantasia Bahia Principe Punta Cana

The grounds of the hotel are pretty! Great water park for younge children. Kids club area clean and have friendly staff. Recommend water shoes for kids- marble tiles around pool areas are slippery!! Recommend not staying on main level to try and avoid musty smelling rooms/linen. Some changes to buffet daily- themed nights. We found evening show times of 9pm and 10 pm too late for the kids to enjoy.

5 Star All The Way

Great family resort! They definitely cater to kids...so many activities, entertainment, kidsclub, teen club! Pool area & waterpark are wonderful & never had to worry about getting chairs by the pool....they had lots of covered areas or umbrellas if you wanted shade! Huge assortment of food at buffets or a choice at the a la cartes. Recommend booking reservations ASAP if you want to dine at the a la cartes. There was tons of staff which were all very friendly! If travelling with kids I highly recommend this resort over any of the other Bahia Principe resorts...the others seemed too stuffy...not a lot of younger kids at them! Wish I was still there! 😎

Amazing Resort

Very clean rooms, fantastic friendly staff and service. Great activities for kids! Definitely would recommend this resort and would go back again. The only thing I would recommend is that you make sure to have smaller denominations in money as know one seems to have change.

Beautiful....but

Resort is beautiful and nicely landscaped. Beds are hard & uncomfortable. Pools were closed every other day for cleaning due to accidents happening in the pool. Food was decent but very hard to book A la cartes unless it’s done immediately after arrival. Kids club was very boring and lacked any real entertainment/toys. Shows were obnoxiously loud, especially their 10pm Castle light show which sounded more like horror movie music than kid friendly music. Beach was impeccably clean and lots of  [... read more]chairs. Amazing resort

Its a very beatiful resort especially for kids i have 3 kids ages 8,6,3 they had a blast they went to disney a year ago believe me they didnt have as much as fun as in fantasia bahia ..very friendly staff amazing seafood ...all the time activities all around the hotel at the pool alot of intreteinments,jumping castles on the water ,coconut party ,pirates show...every night theres a different show going on at 9 the best was micheal jackson amazing !the rooms are in very good conditions and big i  [... read more]recomend it to every1 going to punta cana i am repeating it for next vacation same destination same hotel fantasia bahia principe the best!

Great new resort

Been to punta Cana over 10 times. Been to Bahia principe 5 times. Never the Fantasia. It was amazing. Resort was beautiful. Kids loved all the @ctivities and slides and pools etc. Beach was beautiful. Sufficient chairs at beach. Rooms were comfy. Bed was firm. mini bar refilled every day. Food was better then usual although still not up to our standards. Would recommend in a heart beat.

Fun for families!

What a gorgeous and well maintained resort. Excellent staff everywhere - front desk, concierge, rooms, restaurants, pools. Clean, well maintained and well appointed rooms. Terrific food. The teen club was perfect for our kids and we all loved the pool. Lots of close amenities. We had slow service one night at an a la carte restaurants and we were so impressed by how the hotel staff made up for it. Beach was very crowded - but there was so much else to do! Another Great Vacation!

Third time at Bahia Principe, first time at Fantasia. Once again, had a great vacation!! The service, accommodations, beach, entertainment and food was excellent. Fantasia is a great place for a family as well as for the grown ups. We spent mornings at beach and Punta Cana Pool/Bar, afternoon at the Fantasia water slides and finished the days at the Fantasia pools. People working at the resort very friendly. Resort is stunning. Wonderful time with the family!

It was perfect for families with children as there was lots to do with them. The shows were geared for the kids. I enjoyed the service and smiles from all the staff despite not speaking much English. Everyone appeared to be very helpful. Not so keen on the phone variety but overall everything was solid.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Well maintained grounds with ample entertainment and events for the kids. Pool is huge and we spent most of our days there! Highly recommended booking dinners at al la carte restaurants when you arrive. Brazilian steakhouse was our favorite. Staff was all extremely pleasant to deal with and made our vacation easy. I would book this resort again!

Family vacation

It’s very nice and friendly staff great service and food we enjoyed every minute of it it was fun for my family lots of fun programs for kids they want to go every year we celebrate my daughters birthday the help as with everything we needed we like to go back next year to thank you so very much

Great resort, BUT.....

The resort was great, great for kids, we took our 3.5 year old and 9 month old. The a la carte were amazing. The buffet was pretty good too, there's something for everyone. THE BIG BUT..... We needed to see a doctor on the resort because our 3.5 year old got a fever, and the female "Doctor" there, said she couldn't treat her, and that she needed a specialist in town for her "throat infection", she refused to prescribe antibiotics, and when I pressed her about it, she said, I don't need a pre [... read more]scription, just go ahead and pick whatever you want. Then she said, but I have to warn you it could be some rare tropical sickness.... So if you want to take a chance with your daughter, go ahead and pick whatever you want. So a 30 dollar American cab ride into town 30 mins. then 4.5 hours in the hospital, and an armed guard at the door ensuring payment before we left. had to pay by visa and submit 520 American to insurance. Manulife would take 24-48 hours to confirm payment. Then another 30 dollar cab ride back to the resort in the dark. In my opinion, she should be Fired and charged with Fraud, and have her license suspended. I heard there is another doctor that works there, and that he's really good to deal with.

Very good resort, and amazing service

It is a really good resort, specially for kids, really beautiful, and the service is very good too. The only thing I did not like so much, was the shows, some times really boring and the theater does not have a really good sound.

Amazing resort for young families

Clean grounds and such friendly staff. Always interacting with the kids and trying to get them engaged. My kids loved the shows and there was always different activities for them. Food was decent. There was something for everyone. Dominican resto was our favorite.

Amazing kid friendly resort

This hotel was made for families with kids. The facilities, the food, the entertainment, the staff was tailored for family with kids. It was clean, there are clean bathrooms everywhere easily accessible, there are shows for kids every night, staff walking around at all time asking if we are ok or need anything, and they are all amazing with kids!

Dream resort

Well organized resort , food items are great, rooms are clean. Swimming pools are clean, all staffs are very cooperative.evening music was excellentl. Food items at the beach were good and service by staff to all tourists were good.

Nice resort

Nice resort ground. Food quality could be better. Friendly people. Kids loved the water park. Restaurant Reservations was a hassle. Need to improve customer service. Prevelige club agents were annoying and rude.

Beautiful, clean, fun resort!!!

We loved the beautiful, clean rooms, swim up bars, pools, restaurants, food and friendly staff. Everything is amazing, except for all of the seaweed in the ocean. I’d go again in a heartbeat! We loved it!

Fantastic vacation destination

Very clean. Excellent service. Great facilities for all, especially for kids. Lots of good shows and entertainment for children. Food at the buffets were great with lots of choice and plentiful. Pool bartenders were excellent. Downside was the beach was covered in seaweed. .

What a resort!!!

This place is fantastic! Could not have asked for better service, food or amenities. There is plenty to do for the kids. The grounds, rooms and restaurants were always clean. The drinks were always great too! We will be back in the future.
