Totally awesome

All the staff fantastic and helpful. Entertainment was awesome Rere and staff Orville and Travis all so great. The food was really delicious and lot's to choose from. The maid's were all very thourall clean and fresh. Had the time of our lives.

Clean and great layout

Really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Great layout and really clean rooms. One of the first times where we didn't have to fight for chairs or spots by the pool. Pool was a little cool and not much for kids to do at this resort. Great location close to the airport and on hip strip.

Wonderful

Everything was to my liking.Beach was great with lots of loungers and shade.Pool same no problem getting loungers. At the bars staff was attentive and service quick .Food lots of variety.Rooms were clean and spacious with great view.Staff everywhere were great.

Wonderful getaway spot

We didn't arrive until after 11 pm and checkin was a bit confused but the week at the resort was fabulous. Accommodations were clean and spacious, food was varied and delicious, beach was clean, water warm, pool great for people of all ages starting from toddlers, staff was friendly and attentive, lots of games and activities with enjoyable nightly entertainment.

Fantastic resort!!!

This resort couldn't have been better for the value. So clean with an excellent layout. Food and service was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. All rooms are ocean view and I mean exceptional ocean view. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Great Value

Wonderful view, beach and pool. The food was better than expected as were the drinks. The staff were always willing to go out of their way to help. The room was only fair, shower construction left water on the floor after every use, no wardrobe drawers available only closet and no in room coffee, however the bed was very comfortable and staff kept the room very clean. The view from the room makes up for a lot. Overall I would recommend this hotel to friends

Love this resort

Very nice resort, it was our 2nd visit in 6 months, great beach, nice and clear and very warm temperature. Pool was refreshing, and always clean. Did not have any problems getting lounge chairs. Only complaint is there was not a large variety of food. Less then 5 mins drive from airport. Will definitely visit again.

Very nice

The hotel is very clean food is good people nice music is good overall wonderful Very good location for shopping just a few minutes from the air port. Up on arrival the staff welcome you with a ice cold drink and make you feel welcome I am planning my next Vacation same hotel with the rest of my family see you there :)

Easy vacation

The Cornwall beach resort is 2min from the airport on a very nice beach. The food is good with a lot of Jamaican food. The bars are good and the entertainment is mostly bands that are fair to good depending on the singer of the night. No nightly kid shows with the animation crews to endure. The rooms are good with fabulous ocean views and sunsets and a mini bar stocked daily with pop, water, beer. I would definitely go back. Being a small resort everything is less than 100 steps.

Phenomenal Vacation

I could not have asked for a better vacation at this resort. The rooms were great - not luxury but not basic, either - and they all fronted the beach. The grounds were always kept clean. There was only one pool, but it was all you needed, really. Food and drinks were aplenty. All the employees were great. The beach was small and rocky (in some areas), but the water was calm and it was great for just lounging. We never had to jockey for cabanas whether pool-side or beach-side. Great resort

Rooms were Well kept and staff was great, beach was good. Pool was the perfect temperature, and very clean. Food could use larger variety. It is nice to have authentic food but there should be more variety.

Nice

We had a good time. The hotel is small and cozy which we liked as we traveled with small children. Our room was nice modern and clean. We did not mind that there was no bathtub and were pleased with the shower. The beach is a bit small but it was nice for the kids. Food was good and although not too many choices you could find something different too eat every day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel.

Excellent Holiday

Loved the new side of this hotel. I have been to Jamaica sooo many times and this resort did not disappoint. Love the addition and option to experience both sides of the hotel. Andrei Jonas is among my favourite employees, who really understands customer service and made the stay superior.

Great new place!

Brand new place right near airport. Very clean with workers always doing something around the grounds. Large pool and pool bar area. Every room looks at the ocean. Beautiful sand beach right there with easy access . Free wave runner ride, other free equipment to use. We found it to have a large selection of food choices that were very good. All the workers there were very friendly and polite. There was mild relaxing entertainment at night in free air area. We were there to celebrate 25 years together and our travel agent Angela must have told them because we were given a room at the east end with a huge balcony and wrap around glass sliders at one end. Awesome room! Thank you! There is the sister resort next door. The place is a little old but makes up for it with all the entertainment shows at night and the party people tend to stay on that side. We have stayed on that side before and loved it. People who stay on that side cant eat or drink at Cornwall side while we can eat drink and use a la carte daily on their side. Pay the extra if you can and stay at Cornwall side. Some good snorkelling there as we saw two big spotted eagle rays daily swimming around. One day one of them jumped right out of the water! Be careful and give that 6 foot tail some room. We would definitely go back. We had an issue with the girls room on first day but the front desk put them in a different one the next day and everything was fine. Lastly, we usually book through red tag. The website is too hard to navigate. We decided to try tripcentral because the website was so easy to navigate and gave us way more choices. The travel agent was outstanding getting us what we wanted. After booking she sent us different useful things and info that red tag never did in the 9 times we booked with them. She also went out of her way to help us and we will use her again next time for sure.

Amazing

Our group of four stayed here April 15 2017 for a week I would just like to say every room faces the ocean Food was fantastic didn't need to eat anywhere else the selection was great Rooms very clean and roomy Staff always pleasent and greeted you with smiles and hellos always Hotel director Monica always around to answer questions or take comments Pool large and very clean Hotel interior and exterior cleaned each day all day long Would return in a heart beat

The resort was over all great. Food was good 😊 rooms are clean and the resort is nice and compact. Unfortunately there is no day entertainment of any kind. There is no activities. No drink of the day ... no games ... no nothing. There is a band over supper that is nice( same one for 7 days).and a singer and band ( same one for 7 nights). But truly that is all that needs to be changed. Everyone is happy and wonderful... go have fun

Ocean view all rooms!

Because of the ocean (all rooms have it) and the quick easy Beach, buffet, and a la carte access (just steps from our room), we liked this resort much better than the huge resort complexes we have visited in the past (Barcelo, Dreams,etc). Especially with small kids no need to lug stuff around and take trams from here to there within the resort. Also never got an ocean view before at larger resorts because of the price, but here we were pleasantly surprised to find all rooms have a beautiful oce [... read more]an view. The water is so clear and the waves are pretty gentle, warm, excellent with small kids. Also the free snorkeling equipment and reef area is lovely, can see the reef and fish without even needing a snorkel, at ankle/waist depth. Great water sports all included free and always available immediately due to small size of the resort, lovely catamaran rides, kayak, paddle board, wind surfing. Food at a la carte was amazing, buffet nice omlets/pancakes/waffles/fruits etc on the morning; pasta/jerk chicken very nice as well. Great information on ingredients from buffet staff for allergies and accommodation of recipes at a la carte, however would avoid all desserts with a nut allergy as creme brulet at a la carte was supposed to be nut free but came with a nutty chocolate on top (luckily we guessed it was unsafe and avoided it).

Excellent overall

Small hotel with everything very close. Beach, buffet area, bar, pool etc only a few steps away. Helpful staff. Good water sport activities. Food was good, would have loved to see more seafood options. Not very nut allergy friendly, staff didn't seem very knowledgeable on contamination etc.

Wow

we stayed at the older sister resort last year and loved it! we watched them build the new resort while we were there and decided to go there this march. after reading some of the reviews we were a little concerned but our experience was nothing like the negative reviews, we loved it! the pool is in the shade but only until 10 am full sun for the rest of the day, it wasn't cold but very refreshing! there was plenty of pool and beach chairs either in the sun or the shade. the shower doesn't le [... read more]ak the glass doors don't reach the floor so if you take an extra long shower the water will over run the drain and go into the bathroom floor, no big deal it was built that way and a towel on bathroom floor takes care of any water on the floor. service was excellent, all staff were great! We will definitely return!
