Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro Is Not A Good Choice!
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro, is a very bad maintenance hotel, everything is falling a part! tripcentral is great company! I'm refering to the hotel in question! We have to book Bahia Principe Grand "Fantasia" that is a great hotel so, void this hotel at all cost! In general the staff and location is very friendly and somehow likes to help, however, it all has to be with the hotel poor maintenance!
Everything was great had a good time the pool was awesome and the dinners were great along with the buffet pool bar couldn’t get enough of it beach had a lot of seaweed but the hot dogs and burgers every day were great also

Stunning hotel room.Terrible food. Incredible beaches. Clean sand, warm water. The nude beach was rocky and treacherous- needs improvement. Staff so lovely, warm. Beautiful country, impoverished citizens.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: An okay resort
This hotel was nice to stay at but it wasn’t up to expectations.
The food was mediocre, it was edible but there wasn’t anything that stood out and that included the restaurants. You can only book the restaurants 3 times in your 7 days and your wait time will be very long before being served and the food will be just okay
THE BEACH IS DIRTY. Some of the staff will try to tell you that there was recent flooding and that’s why it’s not swimmable but other staff will tell you that it[... read more]’s been this way for years and just hasn’t been cleaned. I have read some reviews from the past now and it seems the beach has been dirty for a long time.
There is not a lot of nightlife. The bars close early at the resort and after the 9pm entertainment show there is nothing to do so if you’re young and looking to have fun this is probably not the resort for you (the crowd is mostly elderly people and family with young children)
Overall, if you are okay with just relaxing by the pool and going to bed early this is a great resort to stay at. If you’re looking for nightlife and beach days a different resort is better to book.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Just OK
The receptionists Luis and Juan at the lobby are responsive, but the housecleaning and room service staff are not at all. I asked the reception for my sheets to be changed (because it was dirtied with a shoe print on it!) and towels at 5pm but they never came. Same thing happened when I ordered room service through the app, they never delivered my breakfast. To be honest I think the staff are overworked and underpaid, they looked miserable, not happy even when you tip them.
Food was good and ba[... read more]rs were good.
Enetertainment team was great also.
The ocean was bad, and jellyfish all around to sting people.
Lots of flies and mosiquitoes both outdoor and indoor, I wish there was something the hotel could do about it
My biggest complaint is the Air canada/Coming 2 guy Johnny Pena at the tour booking desk. Not only did he book the wrong tour for us, he would not admit his mistake but instead accusing us for not checking the "ticket" that was never sent to our email. I only took a picture of it just in case, and obviously it was in spanish too. He refused to apology and instead of admiting his fault and being apologetic, he was mad at me and spoke only spanish to my friend when we were trying to resolve the issue. He was the most arrogant, unprofessional, and rude person I have encountered on this trip.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort
Second trip to the Ambar and it's totally awesome here. The one negative thing I can say about my recent trip was a lack of service staff at the Sports Bar. This is a popular hangout but this time there were only 2 waitresses to serve the whole bar. We had to leave, twice, because our waitress never came back with our drink order.
Other than that, 5 stars for absolutely everything else. Will definitely be returning.
WHERE" to start and "HOW" to start saying THANK YOU. Also how grateful and blessed I am to have spent even a week with all of you at the BAHIA PRINCIPE in PUNTA CANA, especially at the LUXURY AMBAR.
Having a "home away from home" to come back to every vacation made my trip more enjoyable and memorable. Your hospitality, service, kindness, respect, Love and friendship were exceptional, appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to all of you for making me feel so special. Thank you.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Pristine Resort
The hotel, grounds, all amenities, where, in immaculate condition. The staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly. The meals at the à la cart, restaurants, and the buffets were top-notch. it was nice to have top shelf liquor.
This gated resort jewel nestled in the heart of Punta Cana is everything you hoped a luxury resort could be. Amazing, attentive, friendly staff, clean premises, spectacular tropic setting, all accompanied with a feeling of safety and security. From the moment you arrive you feel a part of the Bahia Principe Family. This adults only resort has an amazing buffet 3 times a day plus a plethora of ala carte restaurants. The food is exceptional, but be sure to try Tequila (Mexican) and The Greek. You [... read more]also have access to the other restaurants on the property. We highly recommend El Olivo on the Aqua Marine site as well. Our family of six stayed for 8 days. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were tidied wonderfully every day. The only disappointment we encountered was the beach. I’m not sure if it’s a year round issues, but the seaweed at the beach is other-worldly. We had to wade through 20 feet of it, a couple of feet deep, to get to the ocean. Lovely sand and lounges, huts, and cabanas, but the seaweed was atrocious. That’s the only reason we can’t give it âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
Service sucks and the food isn't good it was hit and miss! THE Room accommodation didn't go as planned. Disappointed!! Would never recommend NOT sure how they have supposedly high ratings. A bunch of people I know also went and had the same complaints

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort for kids!!
The resort offered lots of options. From food to activities there was plenty. We travelled with two kids under 5 and they had a blast. Staff was very helpful. Nightly entertainment is loud so if you have light sleepers request a room away from it. Otherwise enjoy your vacation

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: I would rate 3 out of 5 star only
In the first room we checked in, there were a lot of rain flies, on the bed, in the bathroom, along the curtain, etc. We never saw those bugs in the past. We found out in the next morning. Several rain flies crawed on the bed!!! So scary for the first night of our vacation. Not expected at all. We requested to change the room. The second room was fine, clean and nice.
I requested room service to get a water, etc, I had to wait long time to get delivered.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Empty Promises
I'm not going to lie the resort is nice, food is amazing, and the waiters and waitresses are extremely pleasant. They work extremely hard.
We booked an Ocean View room with accessibility availability. We received that. But the elevator was down the entire week. The walking across slippery marble flooring was extremely dangerous or walk up three floors to get to our room. But be very carefully in the stairway. I got my thumb caught in the railing going down and banged it up pretty good.[... read more] There was so much condensation from the humidity the floors were sweating. No lie. When walking across from one building to another about 300 meters if not more on slippery floors with a cane, I had a few incidents of almost falling. If my husband wasn't there to catch me, I would have been on the ground and in the hospital. It is a very difficult resort to get around. You do not have a beach on the Luxury side you have a beach on the family side. To access the beach, you have to take a trolly over and walk about 500 meters to get to the beach. Once again not easily accessible.
We also had a time share stalker from the first day he caught us at the pool side. We just go there stood around for 1.5 hours and we just wanted to unwind, and he didn't take no for an answer. He completely dismissed me and talked right through me (I'm female). Made very rude chauvinistic comments saying that older men need to teach the younger women about life and keep them in their place. He didn't ask me my opinion he just spoke to my husband and said don't worry you will get a spa treatment out of this. I was beyond angry. We then went for dinner that night and he come up to our table in the middle of a nice ala carte meal and stands in front of us. We go what do you want? He said nothing just checking in on you......that creeped us out completely. He then called our room at 8 a.m. the next day and we told him we want to don't want to talk about time sharing. He was assertive with me on the phone and I told him no. That day we go to the lobby, and I needed a break from the walking. We sat down in front of the marketing and promotion section. Just by accident. A wonderful women approached us I wish I could remember her name. She asked if I was okay and my husband. No more than 5 minutes of her asking if we were okay he was right behind my husband glaring at me. His name was Davian (close to that spelling). I tell my husband to turn around and my husband at this point told him that he's a stalker and ruining our vacation. We were done with the time share nonsense.
The ala carte restaurants were amazing except for Takara the Chinese restaurant. Very disorganized, salty food and their portioning was way off. Between the appetizer and the main course we waited 45 minutes. Because I wasn't feeling well we asked them to send my meal up to my room. That got there later but I was able to eat it.
The heat was so intense at the resort that the air-conditioning at the restaurants on the Luxury and the Grand were mainly out. Out of 7 restaurants 2 had air conditioning working. Even the fans that they placed didn't help. Although you had reservations for the ala carte restaurants you had to take the trolly to the grand side. Be prepared to wait if you aren't a privileged member and the carts are so not maintained and half the time, they run out of battery around 9 pm so be prepared to be sweaty and sticky by the time you get to the restaurant or leave the restaurant. Also, the ala carte allows children in the restaurants even if you stay at the Luxury adults only side. They can go to the adults only side to have dinners there. So, if you want a quiet romantic dinner, you won't get it here. Another fault of having two monster hotels in one. You want adults only you won't get it completely adults only especially at breakfast and dinner.
Finally, my last complaint about the resort is the butler service. Sometimes you had to wait 2 hours for a bucket of ice, they do not have ice machines in the hallways or accessible to the general public. Sometimes you didn't get it and had to order it again and wait another hour.
We also pre-ordered room service the night we were leaving because we wanted to take a sandwich with us on the plane. The pre-order never came. This happened twice. I wanted to surprise my husband with a breakfast in bed. The order never came. I was so disappointed.
The last piece that I wanted to let you know is that I have never felt so racial profiled at this resort. We are white professionals, and we were snubbed by a lot of the clientele and the staff. While speaking to other people that were there we weren't the only ones that had this happen to them.
The resorts apology to us for all this was 2 x 25 minute massages. This was just not worth the frustration we went through.
I will go back to Jamaica. But will never go back to this resort. The amount that we paid for a week for an Ocean view we could have had a 7 - 9 day Mediterranean Cruise.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Resort Review
Rooms were great. The service at the buffet and pool bars was disappointing. We waited for long periods of time for water/drinks at the buffet while we were eating. Some. days we asked for cutlery many times and waited 25 mins to get it.
Waitresses always seemed lazy and cranky. No gluten free/dairy free pasta, pizza, or desserts.
Pool bar the bartenders were lazy except for a few - Shivon and George were awesome! Pools were great. Beach was fantastic. Kids waterpark also good just would[... read more] have been nicer if it was actually closer to the bigger pools.
The staff booking reservations for the restaurants in the lobby was cranky and not helpful. The Knife restaurant took very long for our food to be prepared.
