Las Brisas Huatulco: Best resort we have been to in Mexico!

Well kept facility, clean, friendly. Food at buffet has lots of variety and we didn’t suffer from the day five I’m done with this syndrome. Shows fun but under promoted. Specialty restaurants ok but not great. Wifi that actually works. Tangalonda bay beautiful as is surrounding area.

Secrets Vallarta Bay: great resort

Well organized and excellent staff Food was great the restaurants were great and the atmosphere of the hotel was excellent. The pool area very clean and appealing. The room was good and clean with a gorgeous view.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing Resort!

A beautiful and amazing resort! The hotel itself is beautiful and kept immaculate by a staff that is always cleaning. The staff is very friendly. The buffets were amazing and the selections were so abundant it was overwhelming both at breakfast and dinner times. The specialty restaurants were good though you need to be there for 6:30pm or you will need to wait hour+ for next availability. Evening performances were ok. Our room was perfect. Oceanview facing quiet pool. Very comfortable, clean and updated. It was our first time at a RIU resort, and this resort. We look forward to coming back.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Good for the money

We found this resort last minute for a cheap price. The resort was clean. The food was good. The beach was small. Only 1 pool. Some of the music played was not appropriate for children. We had a late pick up on our last day (5:25pm) and were told we could not eat or drink past 1pm. We also found the service very lacking on our last day at lunch so we didn't leave a tip at that meal.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Horrible!

Rooms were disasters. No blankets, terrible service. Not clean. Mini fridge didn’t work. Party resort for sure, but still should be held to standard. Food was decent only at the steak house but the buffets were absolutely terrible.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Nice escape

We have been to 3 other AM resorts and I would say this was our least favourite. The drinks and food were good but not outstanding. The beach and pool bar staff were great. For an older resort this place is in great shape and is gorgeous. Love that it’s secluded from other resorts. The beach was narrow but decent. If you are out on your deck around sundown hour wear bug spray but that’s the only time needed. Beach and pool chairs are available most mornings. Entertainment crew were ok b [... read more]ut not enough goes on at the activity pool. Wish there was an adult only pool at the quiet pool. The biggest complaint is about general room housekeeping. When the fridge didn’t work it was replaced in 10 minutes and the shower and AC were checked quickly so no problems there. But general room cleaning didn’t happen and had to fight everyday up front to get towels and facecloths. That is just so below AM Dream standards that it really shocked me. And this was everyday not just one. I still liked the resort but this is be a major thing. Highly recommend going to xel-ha for a day too:)

Tesoro Ixtapa: Not a 3.5 star resort

First the staff was great, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were ok.. The food was boring, no specials each night. Same every day. The A La Carte was Italian -Mon. Weds. Fri. \Mexican the other days and could not get their days straight, frustrating. If you went to a la carte at 5 pm and wasn't full they still wouldn't let you in that night. the Infinity pool they didn't have working half the time. I understand not having glass in the pool ... but even in plastic or go cups No drinks  [... read more]allowed in pool or sitting on edge of pool having a drink. The night entertainment at resort was very low grade.

Samba Vallarta: Excellent Family Resort

This is a small resort that was perfect for us travelled with school age kids over spring break. All facilities and grounds kept immaculately clean. Staff were amazing. Beach sandy and safe for playing in the waves. Evening shows Mexican, Prehispanic, Circus, & Magic nights very entertaining. Would not be suitable for young adults wanting the party scene. Great beach for long walks. Lots of shade palapas on beach. Don't expect Caribbean blue water or huge brand new resort.

Posada Real Los Cabos: Hotel was not very desireable

The hotel is very very old and could definitely have been cleaner. The lighting system was very different than normal hotels We constantly had to ask for facecloths... the linen was definitely grey and not white. All in all the food was "FABULOUS" better than the food we had at the 5 star hotel that we stayed in Huatulco two weeks later at the Dreams Salon and Spa resort

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Awesome Resort

Great resort. Pablo, Alehandra and Johnson at the lobby bar are the best. Make you family. The layout of the resort, distance from the airport, internet throughout the resort, amazing staff, excellent food with unlimited ala cart restaurants which you do not have to reserve and clean rooms are all great options that are not offered at many resorts. We would return again ☺☺

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Disappointed this year!

Had a great stay last year! This year we stayed for 2 weeks. However, the service at the buffet was hit and miss and service at the restaurant beside the pool was terrible. The waiters would rather stand around and talk than look after you!! Specialty restaurants were excellent. I got sick from the food twice. Both times from eating at the buffet. For sure the second time was from eating mussels. Turns out it was also our last night which made for a poor trip flying home!

Selection Riviera Cancun: A Beautiful Resort

We booked this trip to Azul for our 25th anniversary and it was wonderful. We have never been at an all-inclusive resort, so we can't compare, but other travellers were saying it was one of the best they have stayed at. The food was excellent with so many choices and restaurants. The serving staff was fast, hard working and kind. Thank you for all the fun activities and classes: George for yoga, Christina for language classes and teaching me some children's songs ( I work with young families), F [... read more]ernando for dance classes, Diego for language class, beach volleyball and archery, Luis and Alex for sports. Thank you for your kindness and remembering our favourite drinks, Wendy, the pool drink server. Our room was always clean with surprise dessert treats and towel art! The nightly entertainment was always high quality and fun. The pools were huge and clean. The beach had a lot of seaweed which they have tried to clean endlessly. The resort grounds is beautiful to look at. Transportation was easy and 20 minutes from the airport. Did not enjoy the segregation of prestige members area where we were not allowed to sit. Also it was annoying to see a full practice of claiming a space with towels without being in the cabanas and lounge chairs. The weather was sunny for 7 days but surprisingly windy.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Fun in the Sun

This is a lovely resort. The staff, grounds, food, service and facilities are all excellent. They cater to families and children. If you prefer a quiet, adult atmosphere you should choose a different resort. Unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed during our stay but they did their best to cope with the problem. All in all, we had a great time in the sun and enjoyed the Mexican people and culture.

Grand Oasis Palm: Family friendly

The resort was nice and very family friendly. There should be an adult zone in the pool bar area. Didn't like how you book the al a carte and not enough staff to work the bars. Standing in lines is not fun when your on holidays. Resort was clean and well maintained. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Allegro Cozumel: Allegro Cozumel

Grounds excellent, food good. Room assignment poor due to close proximity to theater with its loud reverbating noise nightly. Service excellent from staff. Transportation to Hotel excellent and also to the airport.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Stinky bedsheets and one man show!

I do not know why but the bed sheets had a very bad smell EVERY single day - whether it was the water, detergent, or reused sheets - the smell would not go away.! Everyone seemed to hover around the pool area and there is ONE guy who would appear/lead entertainment activities every single day. It was like a one man show and tbh, you would get bored and annoyed by him starting day 2. They need to up recruit more people in their entertainment team!

Riu Emerald Bay: Awesome Experience

The Riu Emerald Bay is a beautiful resort. It is immaculate and well maintained hotel that leaves a very good first impression. We cannot think of anything negative to say about the place, save that they choose to serve Pepsi Cola which is my husband`s least favourite soda. Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Beautiful resort

Wonderful resort. Lots to do! The kids had an amazing time .the animation team was great! Location was perfect! Very clean!! Beach was beautiful! I also requested a connecting room and they provided it! Thank you !

Temptation Resort & Spa: Excellent

New renos are great. Food was top notch. Party atmosphere was great. Can join in the games or watch from afar. A relaxing place to recharge. Cant wait til we return. Service was top notch. Drinks were great with lots of brand choice.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Poorly Run Resort

Stayed here during mid march and was very disappointed with my stay. The staff here for the most part lack any kind of customer service - unless you are female or tipping they will not serve you. One instance at a pool bar the bartender refused to serve me as I wouldn't give him my hat. The only staff who were truly a pleasure to deal with were the ones working in the coffee shops. The food here is beyond disgusting and lacks any kind of quality/care. The meat is low quality (when it is actua [... read more]lly cooked) and the rest of the buffet food looks and tastes like its 5 days old. The a la cart restaurants are just serving the same buffet food on a plate and the staff at these restaurants are also tip demanding and lack any care for their job. The resort is full of 20 year old "dudes" running wild drinking four loco and cause mayhem at all hours of the day and night. The staff at the hotel also have many extra fees including wifi, safe and will even try to say you damaged a hotel room (as they did with me on my first day of checking in). I was accused of damaging a door that was made of scrap wood and after demanding to speak with the manager, it was determined that the scrap wood used was not cut straight and the door was not damaged but just had a gap in it (not a crack) The best part about this resort was the beach and being able to get a chair at the pool or beach anytime of the day. I would not recommend traveling to this resort.
