Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Fabulous resort that we will definitely return to

We were at Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in May of this year; our second time there. Food, staff, rooms ameinities and services to be one of the best we have experienced. I lost my passport and I found the bell boys, taxi drivers and our air Transat rep Marcus Chimis to be extremely helpful and reassuring. The bell boy found me a Taxi Driver named Angel Omar Chavez Colli who spent the day taking us to the police station (police did not speak English ) where he translated for us, took us for passport [... read more] photo's and then to the consulate, we could not have done it without him. Also 2days later Miguel Angel another Taxi Driver took us to pick-up our passport and was amazing!!! This was a very upsetting time for me, but through the help of all these wonderful people working through the resort, I got through it and enjoyed a fabulous vacation. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great vacation!

This hotel was amazing! This was my second time staying at the grab Bahia coba and couldn't have enough great things to say.service is exceptional and this resorts is suited for anyone as long as they don't mind the large property. Amazin food, drinks, and entertainment.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort!

Second time visiting this resort, and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Service is great and the resort is very clean. Privilege upgrade worth it, for the lounge and beach access it provides. Japanese restaurant was our favourite.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Frequent travellers don't recommend

First of all it rained the entire time we were there and it took 2 days before we coukd get an umbrella. Secondly we got bed bugs from the suite we were in-so much of upgrading to a better room. And to kick it off they didn't do much about it. They eventually switched us rooms

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: great resort

The entire gran Bahia principe resort system is great. Ultra relaxing friendly service and amenities with enough stuff to keep you going weather your an adventure seeker our just want to relax pool or beach side. It's a little far from the airport but well worth the time to get there

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing Resort

We stayed at the Grand Palladiun Kantehah in March 2014. We have 3 children age 4-9 and they loved it. We say it is like a zoo, resort and waterpark all in one. The kids had a blast which means the parents did as well :) The resort was very clean and the rooms were beautiful. We would definetly return to this resort. Dorothy Della Mora

Catalonia Yucatan: Beautiful area

Loved the resort for snorkelling and the people. The resort is in a secure area that you can walk around and feel very safe. There is restaurants,shops and a marina that is all within walking distance. The ground floor rooms facing the pool are very noisy and make sleeping difficult is you go to bed before the bar closes.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Excellent resort !

We stayed already 3 times in Barcelo and plan to visit it again and again - very nice deep beaches, amazing green space, perfect food and service, the personals with genuine sense of hospitality. I definitely recommend it to my friends

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Great Place, Large and staff ready to assist

Great resort! We really enjoyed the ease of this resort. Everything was kept simple. The resort is large and lots of walkin so bring comfy shoes. I didn't mind since the grounds were beautiful and well kept. Beach was big and gorgeous with lots of loungers. The breeze was perfect and we didn't over heat once. We reavlwd with a three yr old and found the staff very eager to help. Loves the fresh whole fruit at the buffet. Room was clean and maid service amazing!

Example: What did you think about we loved this resort. Beachs, pools and the staff were superb. Enjoyed the shows and the shopping. Conviently close to the airport. this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.)

Barcelo Maya Palace: Great fun for everyone!

I loved everything about this hotel the room was beautiful nice bed great bathroom the ocean was beautiful feeding sea turtles the food was 5 star buffets were really good it was amazing time one of my best friends got married there was absolutely stunning

Grand Riviera Princess: Great resort

We have been to this resort now 5 times. It is great with friendly staff and 5 star treatment. Restaurants are great along with buffet. Rooms are beautiful with everything you could want. Will go back again.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Trip of a Lifetime!

First of all this hotel, staff and surrounding landscape exceeds anything we have ever seen and we have travelled everywhere in the world and never have we been so delighted with the attention staff paid to us when we were there. The pools are spectacular and landscape immaculate. Upon arrival we were greeted by a cool glass of sparkling champagne, quick registration right to our hotel room and then a plunge into the pool with a swimup bar. We had a butler who made sure our entire time at this r [... read more]esort was memorable...one night we came back to our room and there were rose petals everywhere and a hot bath waiting for us, with a complimentary iced magnum of champagne with chocolate dipped tuxedo strawberries....what guest could resist this kind of staff treatment! The food was superb and each chef willing to prepare whatever we requested. It is truly a spectacular place to unwind and get the king/queen treatment. Go for it and you will unwind in fantastic style.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Relax & rejuvenate

Beautiful grounds very well maintained. Libby is small & lacks a central bar area. Food was good to superb & service was excellent. Lack of beach and pool beds during peak season - book a swim up room!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Nice resort

Hotel grounds and most of the staff were exceptional, willing to put the extra effort in to accommodate your requests. However Thre was an issue during check in and the supervisor refused to assist. He stated "your problem is not our problem.... You should consider staying somewhere else". This was not over a trivial thing but, adjoining rooms for out kids. They put them one floor down and in the next building.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic resort

This resort was by far one of the best vacations we ever enjoyed. Prior to arrival I had sent an email with a few accommodation request, when we checked in the manager how responded to my email came to greet us and personally made us welcome - what service. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable (5 star), grounds in jungle fabulous, trolleys the beach and other parts of the resort numerous and never waited more than 5 minutes, beach (private) and wait service incredible! Restaurant, we'll we r [... read more]eserved ala carts but the buffet was so so so good with different variety of food ever visit and wonderful service we cancelled all reservations to al a carts and only ate there - come phase while eating to each other "oh you have to taste this". This is truly a resort to visit, I can wait to experience it again!!!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Amazing resort!

Beautiful resort, beautiful beach (very important to me)! The kids club was amazing my 2 daughters 3 and 6 loved it! The staff was amazing and they never wanted to leave! They even had kids yoga on the beach! The food and drinks were great ! It was wonderful to not have to make reservations at the various restaurants.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: terific

Had a wonderful time, everything was first class, pools, bars, food, entertainment, it was our first time at this resort, it was a short stay, but great, the staff were very helpful. We hope to retun sometime for a family vacation.

Grand Riviera Princess: Excellent hotel !!!

The staff did everything to make our stay wonderful. The hotel and grounds were impecible. The food was great and the cold self serve beer keg and food at the beach bar came in handy lol. The hotel room was huge and super clean; a little hint - if you want extras in the mini fridge leave a tip. Entertainment was good and the multiple pools were nice, clean and felt like you were in paradise with all the palm trees. It is worth taking the shuttle bus into playa del carman for shopping. Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Wonderful and relaxing vacation

We loved our time at the hotel and the adjoining Xcaret Park. It was a perfect break from the depths of winter! The food was great - the buffet had lots of healthy options, with plenty of choices for anyone adhering to a special diet (ie. dairy free, wheat free, etc.). The hotel room had everything we needed (though we joked that a new couple visiting the resort should probably be forewarned that the bathroom door is NOT soundproof at all!). The pool was great, with lots of available beach chai [... read more]rs and easy access to the bars. We also really enjoyed the on-site archery/gym/tennis activities. That said, we would note that the snorkeling was a bit disappointing, though there were options for day trips to better locations. We did one day trip from the resort - the Coba day trip. Very easy to book from the resort. Excellent staff and great activities. In terms of the adjoining X-Caret park, we purchased the all inclusive access pass, and were happy that we did. It allowed us to take in the park a few hours a time, instead of powering through the whole thing in one day. For those visiting the park, the evening show is a must-see, as is the aviary. We also really enjoyed floating down the rivers. Beautiful ocean views if you walk back to the resort along the water. The only other thing that we would flag for anyone travelling to this resort is the resort sales pitch. We decided not to attend the "free breakfast" because we didn't want to spend 90 minutes of our vacation listening to a sales pitch, and had no interest in buying a timeshare at the resort. We were approached several times a day by resort staff asking us to attend this briefing for the remainder of our stay. So, something to manage for anyone visiting the resort - this was not our favourite part. That said, we would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a week of relaxation in the sun!!
