Allegro Cozumel: First time in Cozumel

We really enjoyed this resort. The location was great. The layout of the resort was so easy to get around and lots of option for busier pool activities or quiet pool areas to read. Beach was so close to pool and bar. Resort was well kept up from the lobby to landscaping to rooms. Dive center on site was particularly nice and all gear could be stored safely there. Food was better than some all inclusive and tried to have variety every day. We enjoyed the variety of fresh fruit and veggie o [... read more]ptions as well as the mango soft serve ice cream. Entertainment team did a good job of offering a variety of activities without being pushy. I really enjoyed the yoga from an outside instructor on Monday, Wednesday and Friday while the rest of my group was diving. Finally one of the best things about the resort was the staff. Can't say enough positive things! We talked to many people that have been to this resort repeatedly and we can see why. We are already talking about going back at Christmas.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Fabulous resort and surrounding area!

We loved our family trip to Dreams Puerto Adventuras. The gated community that surrounds the resort felt safe and secure. We took a walk around the marina and market area every morning. We watched the fishing boats get ready for their day trips while numerous pelicans waited nearby. The resort itself has so much to offer. A nice beach area where the snorkelling was great! A shout o [... read more]ut to the amazing Entertainment crew of Alberto, Giovanni, Bernice and Mitzi !!!!! They welcomed us with open arms and treated our 10 year old son as one of their own!!! We enjoyed the food at all the restaurants. Our favourite spot for lunch was the Seaside Grill where Juan, Edgar and Andreas took such great care in serving us with humour and enthusiasm!!! The Dolphin Discovery is right beside the resort. By far the best swim with the dolphins around for a great price!!! The Amstar reps in the main lobby were very knowledgeable about excursions off the resort. Easy to book. We chose a half day trip to Tulum to see the ruins. Lots of great excursion choices in this area. Will definitely choose to do a snorkel and cenote excursion when we return:) Snorkel reef trips leave right from the marina so you do not have to get in a van or bus to get there. This was by far one of our best family vacations ever!!!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Fantastic Time!

Occidental is a fabulous resort. There is wildlife everywhere and you really feel like it is a cozy resort, but in fact it is huge. The staff is fantastic (Victor the bartender, Fernando the activities guide) and very friendly. The food at the buffets was always fresh and the a la cartes really went out of their way with food and service. I highly recommend this resort and we will definitely return.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Nice resort until weddings take over!

The hotel itself is beautiful, staff is good, except for guy in lobby bar first day we arrived. We had to wait for our room to be ready, a couple hours so we sat at the lobby bar as there is a beautiful view there. We saw other guest drinking beer from a glass bottle so when I went to the bar to ask for a couple he was totally unimpressed that he had to go the back to get some more for the cooler. There was a couple weddings while wewere there, the first one was fine but the second was a nightmare. The day they arrived totally took over one of the pools , a bunch of us actually moved to another pool as it was obnoxious. The night of the wedding they had the reception out by the pool and they went ALL night, music, yelling into the microphone etc. There was a lot of missed off people in the morning. They need to come up with a solution as it's not fair the the hundreds of other guests trying to sleep. Lots of vendors on the beach, all day every day. Water taxis are difficult to get in and out of, almost got swept out to sea at lovers beach. My husband had to jump in and grab me and then the guy on the beach had his hand out for a tip! Unbelievable. They bring you into a little cove full of rocks and with the current it is dangerous. It is definitely a party town, great for the younger generation.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great resort, a little far from the Airport, but worth the trip.

Food, entertainment, staff were great. Very friendly family resort. Was not happy about the 1 hour none time share presentation, thought I was going to have to call a lawyer to get out of the room. VERY VERY PUSHY!!!

Riu Caribe Cancun: Beautiful beach. Amazing service.

The beach does not get any better. Very swimmable and clean. The service was impeccable from all aspects. Food was great. Drinks were great. Nothing of note to say anything negative about this resort.

Riu Santa Fe: March Break Gettaway

The staff are very friendly and keep the resort very clean. The rooms are in need of a bit of an update but are well stocked with drinks and other amenities. The food was also good, especially the 4 restaurant options. Even tough the Riu advertises “no spring breakers” there were definitely large groups of college students in attendance so if you are looking for a quiet vacation you are better to pay the extra cost and stay at the Riu Palace.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Nice resort

Resort is very big but the shuttles r pretty quick . Food was very good .rooms clean but air condition not working ver well . Complained 4 time still no change .that sucked .people very friendly . Beach no no good . No flat sad . Very weedy and soft sand. Difficult to walk in .

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Bluebay stay from March 10th-17th 2018

The staff at the Bluebay was so friendly and efficient. The rooms are decent and the food was good. There is always something you could find to eat. Salad bar was great with lots of choices. Unfortunately the beach was not nice at all but the pools were great. I would recommend this resort to someone who didn't care for sitting on the beach and swimming in the ocean.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Worst Royalton I have been too

With the exception of the food, which was good, the service at the front desk, how we were treated was terrible. They said it was our agent's fault our room was incorrect. We booked a 2 bedroom Presidential Suite. Suite, as the name implies has a living room and two(2) adjoining bedrooms. No, in their case, it means a One(1) Bedroom suite beside a one bedroom studio suite with NO adjoining door in between. Essentially, 2 bedrooms separate. Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Great Resort

Overall we loved the resort. Rooms were clean but small, but bathrooms large! Grounds were beautiful and the food and service was great. I loved how you did not have to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants and you could go as many times as you please. The pool on the Hacienda side was always fun, especially for kids, always things to do. The beach was beautiful but small and we did have quite a bit of seaweed the week we were there (March 6-13). I loved the Hard Rock chain and will definitely try another one again!

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Beautiful Spot!

Just back from an amazing week! The service and drinks were incredible and you certainly can’t beat the weather! We highly recommend the Rythms of the Night excursion - delicious food and spectacular show! The food on the resort was just ok - we were expecting more variety at the buffet but we did enjoy the Asian restaurant. We were traveling with an 11 year old so we could not eat at the Italian restaurant and instead went to Dolce Vita in town on the boardwalk - service and food was excellen [... read more]te!! A couple of words of caution.... when the water is low in the pool, the edge of the pool on the ocean side becomes very sticky with some unknown varathane type substance. Do not sit on the wall with your feet in the pool. Whatever the substance is, it will stick to and ruin your bathing suit. One other caution, we purchased a bottle of Don Julio from the tequila cart - it is $20 US cheaper at the duty free at the airport. Lesson learned..lol.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: A great family vacation resort!

This location is beautiful with friendly staff and great food. A lot of things for children to do. We didn't have children with us this time, but I noticed how child friendly it was and how many children were there.

It was an amazing week in the sun... the resort was huge but it was easy to navigate (not a lot of stairs or hilly) and there were trams everywhere at any time of day. Lots of choices of food at the buffet and the al la carts were very good too! The rooms were clean, plenty of pools, food and drink always steps away. The grounds were immaculate and surprisingly and very happy to say that there were enough green areas for local habitat to still thrive (lizards, coati, birds etc) . Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Middle of the road

Grounds and rooms are clean, the food I would say is average. I am a picky eater and didn’t really like it. beach is great, entertainment is budget. Some Staff are amazing while others were rude. This is the second time At this resort with a 6 year gap...definitely not the same as it was

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great for the price

The hotel overall wasn’t bad , friendly staff, nice beach , two pools , the only down side was the food but what do you expect. Great for the price and the booze tastes good! If you are interested in going to Cabo San Lucas everyday the cabs are 40$ each way so that was a downside also

El Cozumeleno Beach: Still good...

The good... food improves yearly, always plenty of good choices... the grounds are kept immaculate...the staff are top notch caring people with a sense of humour...snorkling is so cool in ultra clear blue water...your week will fly by.... The not so good... the bed mattresses and the seat cushions in the dining room need replacing, worn out, plain and simple...these are important and easy to fix.... for visitors comfort is mega important.

Camino Real Zaashila: Relaxing resort

Stayed for two weeks at the end of Feb 2018. Resort is a bit tired. Could use a facelift. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Staff are friendly and happy. The negative is we had to sign our check after every meal and end of the day for drinks. We were all inclusive but did not have wrist bands. Always had to ask for the check so it delayed leaving the restaurant of the pool every time. Service was good majority of the time in the restaurants. A few times in the a la carte's we did not have one serv [... read more]er for the meal so at time it took a long time for our entre plates to be cleared and drinks refilled or dessert offered.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Amazing Service, lots of staff, no line ups, great food.

We were thrilled to find a resort that had enough staff to treat everyone like they were special. At no point did we ever have to ask for anything. The staff were asking us. When we went for supper we never had to wait for a table, when we went for a drink we never had to wait at the bar for a drink. Lots of beach on each side of the resort, great water sports, and free sale boat rides daily. One thing we liked was the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very quiet. We had nice quiet [... read more], comfortable sleeps. It was fun and sexy, yet quiet and relaxing. We really loved this place 10/10.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very nice overall

The beach was disappointing, weedy and rocky. But the resort itself was excellent. Great buffet, friendly staff, nice pools, clean rooms, manicured grounds. A la carte restaurants were mostly good. Activities and shows were ok. Often had to wait for service at the pool bars. Overall good though.
