Hotel Bella Costa: love the location and the people

We were in a ground villa.Service great how ever the. Villa could have been better. Ac was dripping water. The people were great and always willing to assist o you. Everyone love the beach. I would de2finetly go back

Barcelo Solymar: Party Tine!!

It's a good place. Lots of college kids. We were older, with young teens, but had no problems. Food, service and rooms were all pretty good. Nothing super exceptional, but nothing super disappointing. Would go again

Sol Palmeras: Amazing resort

We had a really good time lots to do beautiful beach the people and workers were amazing the girls that cleaned our room were so nice and helpful the entertainment were amazing so much to do in the evening nice to relax and have a few drinks and just talk

Hotel Los Cactus: Awesome resort

The grounds were just beautiful-nicely kept and the hotel personnel went out of their way to make you very comfortable. Every day was a beautiful experience.We enjoyed the walk to the beach and the walk on the shoreline and the refreshing drinks served us.

Club Kawama: Friendly and relaxing resort

Covers large ground area to walk around, rooms are clean and staffs are friendly, foods are okey with plenty of fruits, nightly entertainments are enjoyable, beaches are nice and long with a lot of activities to choose from, great resort.

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Breath taking views!

We had a fantastic experience with all the staff ..the crepe cook was a comedian and kept everyone laughing..the rooms were very clean and up to date..the food was amazing compared to the 4 times previous we had been to different resorts in Cuba...have recommended it a lot

Barcelo Solymar: Great location, terrible food

I have stayed twice here because it is the spot to be if your looking for the party resort in Varedero. The first time I was in the main building and the room was nice, balcony overlooked the pool. But, no power. We called several times to get maintenance and even went down to ask for help and they would send us back up to wait for maintenance who never came. They never did get the power going and for some reason it was only our room, I could not even sleep in the room it was soo hot, I pulled t [... read more]he couch out onto the balcony just to sleep with some air circulation. Finally 7am came and I went down to the desk for the third time, demanding they change my room. I did not get into a new room until after noon. After we switched to a room in the villas the rest of the trip was good. Second time was worse, way worse. We were put in a room in the smaller buildings right away, at my request (they are not as nice as the main building but you also don't have to deal with elevators and noisy people in the hallways). Something, quite literally, had died somewhere in the ventilation to my girlfriends room. It smelled like absolute death. She spent the better part of a day trying to get them to come and look at her room and do something and they kept sending her back to wait. Hours later, no one had come and finally we got them to just switch the room. They ended up in a two floor bungalow which was amazing! The next day we seen maintenance taking items, including the mattress out of her old room and then later that day new people had moved in. Those people also vacated that room the next day. Power went out again the last day so we were rushing to pack with the light we had, finally at one point someone did come to check it in the middle of the night while I was sleeping I woke up to someone standing in my room in the dark. No one at the front desk or management seemed to think there was anything wrong with this at all! I was not clothed and not happy. Also, food is disgusting. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of the great location of this resort should you choose to stay there. So many great and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance! Beaches are amazing

Brisas Del Caribe: ok if you just need a inexpensive trip

A little run down. Needs repair a bit dirty. Good staff. close to town. Boring food. Great coffee bar. Nice beach. not the greatest entertainment. room was ok just a bit of musty smell, great maid. freindly guests, vast varitey of ages. alacarte s were ok. It was hard to exchange money at the hotel best to get it at the airport. Excellent lobster dinner .

Melia Varadero: Can't wait to return

The Hotel was beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Food was great. Water was beautiful. Not much to complain about. If anything they could make the beach access a little easier other than that we had so many places to see all on the Resorts grounds. Felt comfortable and happy and very very relaxed.

Palma Real: Good value..great staff!!

I have been many times to Palma real. I love the location. It's a good spot for a good price. This hotel has a good choice for pools. There is a fun pool with the swim up bar or the quiet pool (my favourite) . The beach is great and they have a bar/snack bar there.Summer is slow so many Cubans stay on the weekend. They tend to be a bit gready in the buffet and the bar but are very friendly. Rooms are very clean . The staff in the bar, the buffet, and also the cleaners are great. Melia Marina Varadero: Beautiful resort

Everything was excellent except not enough beach chairs which was rectified the last day of our vacation. We had a one bedroom apartment which is worth the extra$ as we had access to a private pool and lounge area.

Hotel Bella Costa: One of the best!

Breezes Bella Costa has been one of our most favourites. As we take a lot of get aways in the winter we always seem to fall back to this one. The atmosphere and the staff are the BEST. Food is very good compared to others in Cuba. Have tried a lot of others resorts and seem to come back here. The price is right! It might be older but is clean and that is what matters. Love their special dinner and entertainment night for return guests. The Mosquitos are very few compared to further out the spit  [... read more]where you can get eaten alive. Staying at a smaller resort certainly has it's benefits. The beaches are great.

Club Kawama: It's perfect

It's perfect for hanging out close to downtime varadero. Friendly staff. They could bring around a bottle of water to the rooms. Great beach Cuba rocks!! Kawama rocks. Love it......., let's party Cuba kawama style

Iberostar Origin Tainos: A diamond in the rough

This is our 3rd stay at Tainos. The resort is small, and there are no crowds to fight for meals or for a parasol at the beach. We keep returning for one main reason. That is the beach. We have been to several locations in Varadero, Cayo Coco, and Santa Maria, Cuba. Also several locations in Punta Cana as well as Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Not one can hold a candle to the beach at Iberostar, Tainos. Aside from the beach, the staff at Tainos take a backseat to nobody. They are extremely friendly and obli [... read more]ging. The resort is starting to show its' age, but they are in the process of renovating the resort, and we were in one of the newly renovated rooms. It is absolutely lovely. The food in Cuba is certainly never the main attraction. That being said, we never have a problem finding something that agrees with us at this resort. in fact, the meals are actually very good ! To sum up, if you are coming to Cuba to relax on the beach, you won't find a better place. Everything else simply makes your ability to do this very appealing. Enjoy !!

Melia Las Antillas: Fantastic!

This place is everything you want! Rooms are great .Food super Lobster at no extra charge. A La carte all the services are A**1 .ocean blue clear and amazing! Short walk to everything.nice pool area.water ballet in the afternoon.What a terrific show. and again in the evening on another night. Front desk,servers,.bartenders.all employees are the best! Starfish Jibacoa: Piece of Heaven.

My wife and I recently stayed at Villa Jibacoa. We had a wonderful time with great service and the houses were like a home away from home but with the mountains behind us and the Ocean in front of us. treat the staff well and they will go the extra mile. safe and clean . This will be a week we will never forget. Thank-you to all that made it so special.

Melia Marina Varadero: Great place

The food was ok, some days better than others. The staff is extremely friendly and socialable. The outdoor bar was the best! We couldn't have asked for better bartenders!! I would go again just for them, they made our trip amazing! The layout is different but it's nice you feel like your in a little village, and the snack bar had great pizza and rice. The beach was great, with another snack bar located there. We had a great time.

Melia Marina Varadero: Not a 5* resort

Was not impressed from the beginning no early check in and the room was 2hrs late getting ready for us. Wasn't impressed and the front desk didn't seem to care. Didn't see the 5* quality I was expecting

Sol Palmeras: Decent resort

Decent resort, but it's the service that made the trip...Weather wasn't great in Oct., but still relaxing. Italian restaurant for a la carte is a must; incredible food! Lots of activities to keep busy.

Palma Real: great entertainment

good service, lots of good food, nightly shows - great coffees not on the beach but 4 pools and only a short walk to the beach ocean view rooms - ocean views are beautiful - theme restaurants good super pizza
