Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Perfect All In

Located right on the marina in Cabo, it is perfect for access to excursions, walking tour of DT, local shops, and shopping centre. No beach access was not an issue, poolside was perfect and relaxing. The numerous off-site inclusive restaurants provided a wonderful variety of foods and cooking styles, excellent service and great view of the marina and water craft coming and going. No vehicle traffic to contend within and around the marina walkways. Our first trip to Cabo, and have experienced the large resort styles elsewhere. The smaller sized Marina Fiesta was perfect for us, and we are already figuring out when we can make our way back. No hotel search needed, this is the place for us.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Nice Resort, Great Stay

Hotel was nice clean, hotel staff were polite, buffets good and ala carte were all good. I have no complaints at all. Next time if we choose this resort I probably would book either in the White Sands or Colonial hotel. I found most of the night events were all going on in that area of the resort. Not a big deal to catch a shuttle back to the Kantenah but still a heads up for future travellers.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Wonderful resort

The resort was well maintained, the grounds were taken care of every morning, plenty of food options. I loved the fact you didn’t need to wear a resort bracelet and there was plenty of lounges around the pool areas and on the beach. The young entertainment staff had so much energy, they kept busy with various activities, volleyball, water aerobics and then helped out with running the evening entertainment as well.

Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Great location

The hotel is definitely dated and could use some upgrades but was satisfactory. The staff are wonderful and the location is perfect. Would stay there again. If you are looking for a party town this is probably not the place for you but if you want a friendly family feel then I would recommend this hotel.

Riu Santa Fe: Nice resort

Beautiful resort overall except for a few things, if you enjoy swimming in the ocean this isnt the hotel for you, the undertow is bad and you are unable to swim in it. Pools were warm and always clean, resort was spotless and maid was great, no problems there. Food was good and the staff was super friendly, except the manager was a bit rude and very strict. I reccomend going into town where the marina is, great mall to do shopping and lots of restaurants. Only a 10 min drive from the resort. Thi [... read more]s is definietly a party resort, so if you arent a big drinker, i dont reccomend it. Other than that had a good time!

Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Fabulous Resort

The Marina Resort and Spa delivers excellent service. The whole area in the resort was very clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the amenities in the room weren't replaced adequately unless I left a note asking for what was needed. There was a good choice of restaurants to dine at and the service was very good. The Lobster Bay Co. restaurant was a let down compared to the others. Las Brisas Huatulco: Ideal resort

Warm and friendly staff. Beautiful landscape architecture, which invites many birds for travelers to view. Great area of the bay for swimming, with no fear of undertows. A restorative experience for weary travelers from northern climates.

Krystal Ixtapa: Great Stay

We stayed for a week feb 20 /18 Had a great stay , our Delux ocean view room was good, awesome view, the king bed was comfy , maid service was excellent. Food was mostly good, breakfast was always a hit , Some lunches were a miss , but there was always a good fresh salad. Loved Xavier in the pub. Martin in the restaurant was great. We found it clean, and alwYs had food and drinks, snack bar was good.on the weekends they also did a BBQ out by the pool. All in all we would definitely stay again.

Viva Azteca by Wyndham: Simple, comfortable hotel

We enjoyed our recent stay at Viva Azteca. We are repeat guests who have previously stayed at both Azteca and Maya. The rooms were dated, but clean, cool, and quiet. The mattresses and pillows need replacement. Food was decent, we ate most diners in Playa del Carmen as pre planned. Buffet Waiter Alfonzo was most kind and helpful at breakfast and lunch. The resort did very little to clean up the sargassum seaweed that was in abundance. The daily tractor clean up did nothing at the sh [... read more]oreline. (Tractor did not come near the shore due to erosion concerns.) I was only able to swim in the ocean 1 day, next door at RIU Lupitas oceanfront. (They worked hard at raking daily.) We were happy with the value we received aside from the seaweed problem. They are charging an eco tax, (20 pesos per room per day,) but the beaches were only raked once in 9 days buy a local clean up team that did the entire Playacar beach. There are 335 rooms at Azteca at 20 pesos per day..... My expectations were not met as far as beach conditions/maintenance. Viva should participate in the clean up beyond the tractor & burial.

Occidental Cozumel: Great Resort

We had a great vacation at Occidental Mexico in Cozemel, great food, Rooms were very clean and so were the grounds. All Staff were pleasant and very helpful if needed. We did catch a show after dinner and it was great aswell. We would recommend this resort and would happy to stay there again. Beach was clean and loved the snorkeling right on the beach. Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Lovely Holiday

We found the resort clean, beautiful and well maintained. We felt pampered and safe during our stay. The staff were always pleasant and anxious to assist. Food was wonderful in the signature venues, and they were easy to book. Our room was large, clean and had a beautiful view. Our disappointment would be in some of the older furniture in the room and the general buffet was low on variety during our 8 days stay.

Riu Dunamar: Very Nice New Resort

The resort is new and you can tell, nice décor, nice beds, new pillows, and upgraded washroom facilities. The resort was very clean, the washrooms were always clean which is a welcome site from other resorts I have been at. The restaurants were good, although only one true a la carte, others were partial buffet and partial a la carte. The food was very good all over the resort with the exception of the hot dogs in the sports bar (looks like they sit for a long time). Nice idea is that they have a hotel photographer taking pictures if you would like, downfall is they are very expensive to purchase. The entertainment in the evenings in the theater were fabulous. First time I have been to a resort and actually enjoyed the shows. The beach here is just beautiful. Love that you can walk for a long time either direction. There were always lots of chairs on the beach, didn't matter what time of day you went down. I don't know about the pool areas as we spent all of our time at the beach. The best drinks were made in the sports bar. We did teach one bartender by the theater how to make paralyzers- and he was very good! This is the perfect resort for anyone who enjoys the beach and is happy at the resort and not going anywhere. It is a bit of a distance to anything, but if you know that going in- then you know what you are in for. The one thing I missed most was having a coffee maker in my room. A coffee shop and/or smoothie bar would be a nice addition. Overall this is a fabulous resort with a great staff, and it was a perfect home away from home!

Riu Dunamar: Wonderful resort

Being brand new everything was in great condition.Beds were comfortable.Housekeeping was great.The grounds were constantly being maintained.Easy to get around and everything close.Looked like a big resort on the picture but everything was convenient - no need for shuttles as at some resorts we have been to.Food was great - I am vegan but there was plenty of options for me.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Fantastic family resort with exceptional service!

Very clean, very well staffed, great food(especially the Mexican food), fantastic kids club...Karla is the best. We loved the fact that the kids club gives you a radio so they can get ahold of you immediately if your child is upset. The resort is so kid friendly with beach toys to use, wonderful water park, breakfast with Rags the resort mascot and many more kid friendly features. Riu Palace Pacifico: Fantastic resort

Dining: All the dining rooms were fabulous, whether buffet or fine dining. Staff friendly yet very professional. Food was excellent. Accommodation: Very clean and comfortable. Housekeepers great. Poolside and beach area: Very clean and neat. Plenty of lounges. Friendly staff kept us well supplied with cool drinks. Entertainment: As much as anyone could want. A great value.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Royal Decameron Complex

The hotel is great but the safes in the room are way over priced and have paid for themselves a thousand times over. Rooms are ok nothing fancy, pillows need to be replaced. Any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly. Nightly entertainment is good. Food is good. Staff is friendly. The package to go to the Royal Decameron is becoming too expensive to go there anymore. There has been no improvements to justify the increase in cost and long time customers don’t get any financial break or pr [... read more]eferences.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome resort

Everything was perfect at the resort from the grounds to service quality of food and transportation around the resort. Shows were very good and rooms were clean and spacious . No musky smell at all. English speaking on the resort is excellent as well

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Absolutely Amazing Resort (Sian Ka'an)

Great resort with so much to offer it's clients. Golf, the beautiful beach (with plenty of chairs to sun in) bars to get your drinks at or be served by 1 of the bar girls who walked up and down offer to get what you wanted, so many swimming pools to choose from with bars attached, many different restaurants to dine at or just that big huge buffet that is open all day long. Also available is a 24 hour restaurant, maid service daily and restocking the bar fridge in your unit. My one complaint was a day manager IRIS RODRIGUEZ who showed no compassion for a Mother who son was MUGGED and badly beaten and drag with a car. The resort did absolutely nothing for this family as the other guest helped with the rest of their stay. You can look on YOUTUBE and see their interview when they got back to Toronto. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Paradise

Beautiful landscapes and gardens. White sandy beaches with tons of chairs. Wonderful fast service. Clean facilities. Great food. Many great restaurants to choose from. Fabulous vacation for the family with so many options and activities for everyone

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort grounds are stunning

Pros, beautiful grounds, great food, lots of pools, friendly staff, spider monkeys run wild in mangrove forest, premium drinks, rooms very nice, beds very comfortable. Cons, music was too loud around the quiet pool, a few people asked bartender to turn it down as the speakers were right beside our loungers & we & others were told that they couldn't turn it down. We stayed in villa 15 so a long walk to the beach.
