Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing resort

It was our 7th time going to this resort. So that tells you, that we love it. We were a group of 14 family members. Everything was amazing for us all. Many of us, it was their first time, and all wants to return

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good value for money

The beach was very nice with almost white sand, seaweed like always but was cleaned as needed. Surprisingly the food was good and top notch service from young Maria, and the restaurant really good specially the Italian and the steak house, the bar service was very good and the coffee house was excellent, hats off to the guys who worked there. The front desk guys could not change rooms from first floor (noisy ) to higher floors. The room on first floor needs some upgrades like new mirrors an [... read more]d a fresh paint. There’s a 5-10 walk to the beach from the room which was fine for us, no shuttle taken.

Samba Vallarta: Graet time

I like it.Good service,friendly staff,rooms clean but probably need some update,for the size of resort better then expected. Food is good- I can call it home made Mexican. Beach area clean.Really enjoyed barbecue nights.Carlos was great- have a time to talk to all customers

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great place to relax and enjoy Mexican Hospitality

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa was a beautiful place with ocean views from the lobby and some restaurants. This resort was spotless. Never been to such a clean resort. The service and staff were amazing. Friendly, engaging and polite. We stayed in the preferred club which gave us an upgraded king suite, 24 hours a day room service, private heated pool, premium drinks in the preferred club lounge. all with exceptional service. Seven restaurants that were clean, great decor, food was really good. Some [... read more] times you had to wait to get into the busier restaurants. The preferred club pool was too warm for me some days. Beach was good except for the sea weeds that would wash up. I would give this place 4.5 stars. The service and staff get a 5 star rating.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Resort

The rooms and resort features met all expectations. We did have a problem using the app to check in early and as a result were not able to advance book any a la carte. When we arrived there were not a lot of a la carte openings available.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: My home away from home!

This is not a five-star hotel which is fine with me, I don't require that. Overall the staff and the service are outstanding, rooms are adequate and food could use Improvement. Still a good deal for the price.

Camino Real Zaashila: Very nice. Well kept resort

Very nice quiet resort, beach is beautiful, freindly staff, but spoke very little English, Amenities say 3 restaurants, only two are open, a la cart is a 2 hour deal by the time you got your food and finished

The Pyramid Cancun: Stay far far away

I don’t write reviews ever but this calls for a warning to anyone going to this resort. Rude staff and poor buffets. A la carts were acceptable. We arrived to be told my pal and I would be staying in a king bed. It took two days to rectify this only due to the fact that our room smelt like someone painted a car in it and I an asthmatic. All of a sudden a room was available with a two double beds. Also, no alcohol after 11pm and the casino is permanently closed. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff friendly and very accommodating. Good at the buffet was plentiful and delicious. I loved this resort and perfect place for a family vacation. Would definitely come back.

Have stayed multiple times Great property, excellent staff and food Only issue is that the golf course is ultra busy and are holding tournaments with packages Major carriers are not offering golf packages anymore

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Very beautiful resort!

There is a lot to see and do here, from swimming in the cenote to sliding down water slides or dancing with the staff at the pool, this resort is great for kids! I was disappointed about the bed, it was broken and our door did not lock, but I still rate this a 9/10 resort, especially for nature and animal lovers

Riu Palace Pacifico: Great time, will be back

We look forward to meeting up with repeat guests/friends every year. Beach is awesome, we even got to watch a turtle release our last night. Awesome sunsets. Food is good, especially 3 of the a la carte restaurants. Breakfast and lunch buffet is plentiful, you never go hungry. Sports bar is 24 hours but limited meal menu. All of the bars make tasty drinks, whatever you ask for. Cappuccino bar in the lobby has line ups every morning, but is great all day. Such a nice addition to the hotel. Entertainment is a little late for those of us who get 8 hours of sun per day. Love the walking trail to Bucerias, we go every morning. Overall a great hotel. No one should be complaining.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Good Resort

Grounds are very clean. Room was very clean had a hot water issue one day which was fixed. Others reported no towels for days. Shows were ok- better last year. If your looking for a party resort this is not the one. Average age 45+ but we prefer that. This was our 3rd stay. No golf this time it was too hot. But the golf is excellent

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Another stay at Grand Decameron

Ideal if one has mobility issues. Lots of level walking and ramps. Staff are friendly and helpful. Everything is kept clean. Food is great and always something to eat. Pretty much serve the same things daily so it gets boring if you stay for longer periods of time. I do miss cream for my coffee. They only offer milk. Never went hungry though.

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Great Family Resort

Our family of five (two adults, kids aged 14, 11, 9) enjoyed a week at this property in mid-December. Overall it's a smaller property compared with some other resorts we've been to, but that had many benefits. It was a shorter walk to the beach, pool and restaurants, however being smaller meant fewer dining options. The beach was beautiful and had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rooms were in older buildings but were kept very clean and had great layouts. Ours was a 2 bedroom suite which had plenty of room for our larger family to spread out.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: This is not a resort....It is a resort complex

The Barcelo Maya Tropical is part of a resort complex made up of six hotels. It is huge but at no time feels over crowded. The grounds and hotels are well laid out, groomed and maintained. Staying at the Tropical allows one to use the facilities of four others. That means the pools, restaurants, beach bars and theaters. There is a shopping mall and a local market on site. The whole complex is kid friendly except for the adult only Riviera Maya. There is also a bowling alley, mini putt and a casi [... read more]no. The food at the various hotel buffets is very good and varied but reservations are required to use the a La Carte restaurants. The beach is rocky so water shoes are advisable. There is also a Dive Shop on the premises that offers SCUBA training and rentals.

Beautiful site and well kept . However huge site - especially with arthritis !! Would be nice to have staggered eating sites - not strict timing . Beach very steep and reef close by so not ocean swimming easily Personally we would prefer a site with 1-200 rooms max . Marble tiles are washed 1-2 / day - very slippery !!
