Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great resort

The ground were okay. I have been there for the last 10 years, it was bright colours and now it is a dull beige. Looks like a hospital. Very clean, staff are fantastic, food was good. The only bad thing is that they let this guest come every year , he treats the staff bad, he yells at them, he has been known to push guests and threaten them. He is known as the decameron bully. If they continue to allow him to come won't be back. I believe everyone should be treated with respect and if management [... read more] can't do that, then it's time to move on. we are on vacation, we pay for this trip,and would like to enjoy it without stress from this person. The resort no,s who he is. I am really sad that I have to leave, enjoyed it for years.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Don't go for the rooms

The resort was very well maintained and the food was just above average. The staff were great and there was lots to do that was free. You do not get cushions for the pool loungers, your room is very very basic with no extras like a clock and you have to pay for the safe key and you do not get your money back. We had a good time and meet lots of nice couples that really enjoyed themselves there.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Ok resort, surround by gorgeous towns

Ground were very well kept. The food at the buffet wasn't the greatest and I'm far from a picky eater. The snack restaurant by the main pool had excellent food. The bars all only had one bottle of good liquor. Example: one bottle of tanqueray gin, once that was gone gin was dispensed out of a fountain pop dispenser and was terrible. We booked a one bed room, and when we arrived we had two beds in the room, they did fix this issue but we had to push for it. it was my first time on the west coast of Mexico and overall it is a beautiful area and we all had a great time, it's all about your attitude and even though the resort had some downfalls, it's all what you make. I wouldn't go back to that resort but would for sure visit the Los cobos area again.

highly recommend the royal decamaron, it is in a good location away from the business of puert Vallarta.Excellent service, food, and entertainment.You can walk both ways down the beach for miles and find really good restaurants on the beach.Whale watching and fishing were really good also.its a bigger resort but you have lots of variety for food and drink, will definitely return.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: great resort

the staff were great and very informative, the grounds well kept, the beach was nice, food was good and lots of variety, rooms well kept, always hot water and bottled water in rooms. Never had to ask twice for anything the staff were all very accommodating.

Grand Decameron Panama: Amazing Resort!

The hotel, grounds and BEACH FRONT rooms are clean, well maintained and beautiful. The weather was 30c or more the entire time we stayed (end of feb) with sunshine and no rain. There are many pools to choose from depending on your mood- busier pools with great house music and quieter pools for chilling. Despite being a larger resort it had a friendly intimate vibe. Service was a little slow sometimes but just make good friends with the good ones and they will treat you like gold :)

Grand Decameron Panama: Overall great trip

Very nice resort. Quite big (lots of walking) although we were right in the middle. Good food, Nice and quiet resort. Lots of pools, restaurants, activities, Palapas (shade on the beach). Bus ride is long ! (Sunwing lands at the new airport across the street...)

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: OK Resort

Overbooked, When we got there at 3 pm we didn't get a room till 7 pm. We booked 9 wks in advance, there were many couples who booked 3 days in advance and received their rooms and were settled in right away on their holiday. The room we finally got , 101 was right beside the dining hall. Very noisy nights (the entertainment and bars). Waken before 7 am with the dishes and dining room being prepared. The room was a temporary one till people left and we could get a new room. The shower handle woul [... read more]dn't stay on, shower curtain approx. 1 ft. off floor so water all over, no hangers, no towels. The door lock didn't work , we were going to show the manager the shower problems and couldn't get into room. Manager couldn't open lock either. So we went walking and manager fixed up the problems. Grounds were nice, public area nice, facilities were ok. Food in buffet dining was good. Food at a la Carte was very limited menu. Ate there a couple of times and all menu items were not always available. The remaining 4 out of 12 days in the 2nd room , we didn't receive towels and had to call for some. Entertainment, Not enough variety. Mostly young dancing and singing on stage and floor. Very repetitious. Not taking into account the older demographics 50 to 75 and providing entertainment. Kayaks were available, the paddle boats they had we were told none of them worked all were broken. For the most part the employees were vey friendly and helpful. Some were excellent, some younger ones need either more training or just smile. This was our holiday, we are not grumpy people and tried to make the best of it. We had good and bad times.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Offers a wonderful Mexican holiday

Hotel amenities are basic and simple, kept immaculately clean several times a day. Bicycles are rudimentary, kayaking disappointing as restricted swimming area, sailing cat only available for 1/2 hr with assigned skipper. Food very good (not fancy), but tons of fresh veggies, lots of fish, polo. Be prepared for lots of noise. Beach club located over hill in next village well worth the hike or shuttle.

Grand Decameron Panama: Decent place

This hotel is a big operation so there are few drawbacks. Services are decent except for mediocre night entertainment. Panama is interesting, but for less money you get better value in Mexico or Cuba.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: great resort

Grounds and public areas were nice and were kept clean. the rooms were good except I did not like the idea of not having a closed door between the wash area and the toilet. Food was good except the out side buffet dining area always had to many birds that would land on your table peck at your food if you left for a minute. The activities people were great and did an excellent job. Grand Decameron Panama: Beautiful Resort

The hotel grounds are beautiful. Staff are friendly/helpful. Food is average, the Sushi was our favorite. Snacks are available at anytime. Activities and nightly preformances are fun. The The beach is beautiful but it was difficult to find a spot in the shade unless you are up early in the AM. Our room was nice, the view of the beach/ocean was fantastic. Grand Decameron Panama: Very good

Resort is very well laid out along the ocean shore. All amenities are easily accessible. Very hot in Panama & the resort could therefore use more shaded areas on the beach. The location is a long way from the airport.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Average resort

The little bungalows and the site are cute but the beach is really small, the food is average, it is noisy almost 24/7 and the service is average. Wouldn't recommend but some people we meet enjoyed it.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: My second year at this resort

As always this resort has a happy, relaxed feel. The food is very good, the rooms very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful with any requests. I will go again next year. Please sign on for extra events. So far we went whale watching and saw Rhythms of the Nights. Both wonderful.

After spending 14 days Jan 29, 2015, we love this popular resort for the value of our money, clean, building colours,food, drinks. This resort is so clean, pools, chairs, rooms, restaurants etc. it has two buffets so if you can't find something you like at one you can always go to the other. 5 a la carte restaurants. We notice a few changes this years, some foods were repeated to fill the blank space. Always can find something to eat. Yellow corn would be preferred, sherpperd pie, a little more  [... read more]ambiance with fine dinning and this resort would be a five star. Spanish coffee, flame deserts, speciality lobster at a $20.00 extra fee, just saying yes madam......the only thing I found the night intertainment is to late, 9:00 pm is late enough and seems it's late starting. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: fantastic

great staff, variety of food for everyone, coffee fabulous. everything was clean. The entertainment was first class and lots of fun. The one minor issue was wifi... buy by the hour $5/hr or $20 per day... sometimes there were no one hour packages available. dropped quite frequently.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Great value for money

Resort was clean and rooms were simple. Wicker furniture, couple of lamps and a bar fridge. Beds were comfortable, room safe available for $2US daily. Beach wasn't the best, but they were cleaning it every morning. Garden grounds were beautiful, took pride in maintaining property.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Very enjoyable an truly Mexican resort

As always, I enjoyed the Decameron Los Cocos immensely. The food seems to get better every year. This time, we had a lot of rain. But, no problem, entertainment by Karioki in the bar was provided to make our days enjoyable. Our room cleanliness was 1st class as usual and just love the walks along the beautiful beach. Will come again for sure!!

The resort was lovely, extremely clean with immaculately maintained grounds. When we arrived they were just finishing repainting the outside of the hotel blocks in vibrant Mexican colours. The hotel consists of 6 blocks of rooms with 3 buffet restaurants and 5 a la carte restaurants. We only went to 1 as the buffets were more than adequate. We had 2 double beds, double dresser and small closet, lots of room for 2 people, bathroom has only a shower but again - not a problem. The staff are what make this place special, with everyone very friendly and helpful. Many of the guests are repeats with some coming 10+ years or more and staying up to a month at a time. The beach is lovely with miles of sand in either direction, lots of beach chairs are available so there is never a shortage of a place to relax. Even the beach vendors are friendly and if you say no they quietly go away and leave you to you piece and quiet. Would recommend this place for a nice quiet holiday
