Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great resort for families with kids

The hotel rooms were great. Some rooms did not have a great view, i.e., back of kitchen hut, but staff was very accommodating to switch us to better room with an amazing ocean view. Poolside bars were hit an miss with making good drinks. Some bar tenders just rushed making the drink and were poured all over the glass making it very sticky and the quality of taste of same drink varied bartender to bartender. Food in buffet was good and lots of variety. The evening entertainment was top notch [... read more]. Kids pool had 4 water slides and great life guards they helped kids. It was fairly easy to find a place to sit pool side as security guards removed towels of people who claimed many chairs too early. Beach was sandy with lots of waves down the shore for surfing.

Crown Paradise Club: Nice resort

The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and the buffet was good. Overall a nice hotel. The Club side is kid friendly and the Golden side is for adults. Just be sure to book the proper hotel for your stay.

Everything was great. It wasn’t 5* but was a great place vacation. Our 2nd trip here! We will be back for another holiday here very soon. The staff make sure you are safe and very happy. See you soon.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Excellent Resort

The staff and management team were a credit to the Hilton name. The resort is beautiful and the food was excellent. All of our needs were anticipated and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the Mexican(3 times) and the French (twice) and the beach partly. This was personal choice. The drinks were properly made and the pool staff at the hacienda and the roof top bar were excellent. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fun getaway

The resort was great, the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. Participated in a ping pong tournament, dance lessons. Watched a show,listened to some music. Close to Bucerias, nice beaches.

Was very much impressed with the hotel. It is a real Big Complex with the resort like atmosphere just a few feet from the Ocean !! The upkeep of the building and the landscaping was immaculate and the cleanliness of the Resort and the food and drinks were A1 and fabulous, including the Nightly Showtime Shows every night and the Fine Dining was superb. We paid a 3 star price for a 5 star location !! Definitely going back soon.

Lovely colourful resort and huge grounds with a lovely beach and many swimming pools. The nightly shows were very good and professional, however, they should start at 8:30 pm and not 9:30 pm as late for children. The staff very hard working and friendly.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Great Resort for the Price!

My girlfriend and I just got back from visiting this resort and were very impressed. A couple notes that might prove helpful: - 45 minute bus ride from to the resort in Punta de Mita (grab beers at the convenience store outside the airport for the ride) - Check in is very quick and easy - We got a room in building 1 on the second floor which we felt was perfect. Equal walk to lobby/restaurants and to the pool/beach - We never had to fight for seating at the beach or pool, but were always th [... read more]ere before noon. - get a coffee at the coffee shop every morning, well worth it - Download the iberostar app, it makes booking a la carte restaurants very easy. try to book them 3 days in advance to get the time you want. - A la cartes are the way to go for dinner. Meals are way better. We really enjoyed the Japanese and Steakhouse (Get the Prime Rib) - Buffet for Dinner is not bad, especially Wednesday nights for Seafood night but we found A la cartes to be the better choice - Service is very good at the resort, all staff willing to help - I feel like drink quality could be better. They arent watered down but there is no effort put in to the quality - Lunch at the beach bar is great! Food is simple and very good - We booked an excursion at the front desk to Marietta Island through the Vallarta Adventures tour. It was a decent tour but you are on the boat alot, not much time snorkelling or on the island. Took about 8 hours plus you have to arrange your own taxi. Tour was $80/person plus $30 cab each way. Dressels Divers offers a similar tour that leaves everyday at 9am right from the resort, its around 3 hours and is $100/ person. We never went on that one but feel with all the travel time, it may be the better option. We did see many dolphins and a 4 metre wide manta ray on the Vallarta Adventures tour though, so pros and cons for both - Rented a car online prior to arriving, to tour Downtown Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. after all was said and done, it worked out to be $10 cheaper than booking right from the resort. However, unless you are planning to do extensive trips during the day, we felt the shuttle provided by the resort is the best option. Overall this is a very good resort if you can get it at a low price. It is definitely not a 5 start quality when it comes to physical aspects like food, drinks, rooms, pool, amenities etc. I would say it is 4 - 4.5 stars. But provides good value for your money, and flirts with becoming close to a 5 star resort.

The outside area is absolutely beautiful. It is clean, well-kept and so much to see. Several pools, iguana home, can watch daily feeding, turtle pond, awesome Beach and recreation areas. No reason to leave the resort if you just want to stay and have fun there.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Love this place 🌴

Edith and Nancy at the kids club are amazing. My daughter loved going there every single day. The entertainment staff were wonderful the food was good and the grounds were of kept very clean. The only few downfalls where the ocean was very rough where we didn't even spend one day in the ocean and I don't like that anyone can smoke anywhere on the property. Very kid friendly. Would definitely go back

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Authentic clean resort

HB is an authentic spotless resort; room, beach, restaurants all nook and carnies are clean. They serve seafood, beef and chicken for each meal. The variety of food, vegetable and fruit was awesome. Don't miss their shrimp served for dinner! Pastries are good. Staff pleasant people who willing to help. The only down side for me was lukewarm food which is somehow understandable, maybe because of the amount of served food and longer hours of serving (till 11 for breakfast and till 4 pm for lunch [... read more]). I was hesitant to choose this resort because of the vendors around beach but believe me or not it wasn't bad at all they are good people and don't bug you. So, enjoyed good food, drink, weather and vibe. If I go back to PV, this resort would be my choice. I met some people who stayed in HB between 4-10 times.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Great location

This Hotel was very well maintained, clean and a great location. I can see how some could be disappointed with their room location. The beach is very nice, they do get a lot of rocks washing up on the beach with the waves but they do seem to keep up with them and clear them off every couple of weeks. The Dining experience was the biggest disappointment of all, the buffet was the smallest buffet I have ever seen and the choices were very small and did not differ much from day to day. We had a lot of stews and meats in sauces.... which where usually left overs from the day before. The salad bar was usually 4 bowls of different salads that were made up, the meats where more than often not even chewable. I was sick 9 of the 10 days and even spent 36 hrs in my room. Riu Flamingos: Amazing Resort - Riu Jalisco / Riviera Nayarit

Grounds were spectacular, great beach, food was bountiful and very tasty. rooms are nice.Close to Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias, safe area. Great staff. Pools are nice. Excursions around area were great.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: So so

The Buenaventura is a great resort rooms where ok staff were excellent. The only problem was the food. Our group was very disappointed. Breakfast was good but that was the best of the day. Lunch and dinner was not good at all most of the meat was so tough that you couldn’t chew it and no flavour. Maybe it’s me but when I am on a holiday in a tropical climate winter stews are just not right. Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Amazing resort!

The resort had a lot of restaurants to choose from...no line ups the food was delicious! The rooms were huge and I absolutely loved having a tub in the room and one on the deck! Fridge was always stocked and the best part for my husband and is that we got to have room service! And the wait for that was 30 min or less. There was always loungers at the pool and beach lots of shaded areas if you needed and tons of activities to do during the day.

Hotel was very nice and clean and staff members were also very friendly and the pool was very clean the drinks was good beach also was very nice n clean like to go again service was fabulous room cleaner was friendly

Tropicana Hotel: Great location

The hotel is sort of need a bit of freshen up, they have a newer addition adjacent to the original building which is nicely appointed. The beach is nice with enough beach chairs and lounge chairs for everyone. The location is excellent as it is in the Zona Romantica rather than in the Hotel strip like Florida, it is within walking distance to everywhere in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Very nice ,ground r beautiful ,nice views ,big beautiful rooms with room service morning evening .lots of food all day long .drink all day till to get drunk & hit the bed . Van service to the beach 🏖 5 minutes away & also have food & drink free to keep u enjoy the beach .
