Ocean Riviera Paradise: Awesome!
Clean, lots to do, great variety in food and restaurants. Loved the pool table, bowling alley, and ice cream! We stayed for two weeks in the Eden building. View of beach, jungle, and pool. Added touches were great, water pressure, slow close toilet seat. Awesome. Lol
Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Powdery Sandy Beach
What we liked- 1. the beach was beautiful with powdery sand, calm and inviting, the best beach in the whole area. 2. The hotel accommodations in the preferred section was clean, well maintained, had comfortable beds and lots of hangers and big enough lock box for your laptops. 3. A la cart restaurants - Wave and Sands was my favourite with tasty pop corn shrimps, claim chowder and surf and turf but small portions. Bordeaux was another great restaurant, loved the fish and the beef tenderlo [... read more]
Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful Resort
The grounds are beautiful, love how they kept all the vegetation natural, that was a huge bonus. Nice feature having a little zoo there. They even had a shunk on site wandering everywhere. The food was great, lots of choices and good in the buffets. The alacart were good, but big downfall you couldn't book them most of the time. They said book on the app, it never worked most of the time. Frustrated a lot of people. That all needs to be revisited and set up properly. They always said come ea [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: perfect everything!!
The atmosphere, the rooms, the pools, the bars, the staff, the cleanliness, the towel exchange, the shopping and the excursions that are available are reasons that we will be going back. Everyone tells us to try another all inclusion at a different location but this one was so perfect both times we were there that that seems silly to us.
Coral Princess Hotel and Dive Resort: Outstanding Service.
The hotel was right on the ocean and it was kept in absolutely sparkling clean condition. The staff were helpful and very courteous at all times. The Town Centre was a short cab ride south and the Golf Course was a short cab ride north. Having the unlimited golf and the clubs supplied meant only having to bring along a pair of golf shoes, a couple of gloves and some balls. Bring your own clubs if you wish but the ones supplied were sufficient. There is a scuba/snorkelling shop on site at the hot [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Lovely Spot to Relax
This resort is beautiful. The staff couldn't be friendlier and truly are the stars of the show. The grounds are immaculate, the food is delicious, our room was perfect and the entertainment crew are crazy talented. And, if there isn't enough to keep you amused here, you have access to three other resorts - we only made it to Akumel, just didn't have time to investigate all there was to see. The only reason we would not likely return to this hotel is the beach doesn't quite meet what we look [... read more]
Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: Amazing personnel
The location of the hotel is the best! The hotel is super clean and the personnel is friendly, in good humor and fantastic! The room we occupied is in need of tender loving care. We saw renovated rooms and we will get a renovated one when we go back! The food was ok, never left a meal my stomach empty.
Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Great food
Quieter resort, rooms were clean, food was really good and the drinks were well made. Wifi seemed to be an issue for those who wanted it. Rooms are a bit small but the showers were hot with good pressure.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Awesome, spectacular, overall well managed resortAll staff
All staff are courteous, well trained and provide competent assistance / service Transportation to and from Sian Kan to the beaches and restaurants is efficient and the drivers are again courteous and competent Restaurants serve excellent food , exception is Mikos Restaurant where both food and service are sub-standard- salmon was badly prepared; I was twice served dessert- one of which I had not ordered, and the other which I ordered, in both cases the quality of the dessert was poor. One o [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Nice resort
We liked the resort. The food was quite good. The service staff were very polite. The downside was that there is no direct ocean access. There are retaining wall so there are a couple of small wading areas into the water but you can't go out in to the waves. The photos of the resort do not show that clearly. It appears as though there is clear access. For that reason alone, we won't go back to this resort.
Park Royal Ixtapa: Great hotel!
My husband and I just returned from Ixtapa Park Royal Feb. 27/18 and had an amazing time! Sunshine, fabulous sunsets, smaller resort which we enjoyed, main buffet for breakfast and dinner plus the Pescador patio or indoor buffet for breakfast and lunch had good variety. Beds were somewhat hard but I had no trouble sleeping. Buffet food was not often hot and while I had some concerns regarding food safe we experienced zero stomach issues. All staff were friendly and helpful, several hosts availa [... read more]
Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Great value!
Two great beaches (hence the name Dos Plays), clean, warm water, no undertow, several nice clean pools, great friendly staff, pizza and burger options all day, cold drinks, rooms clean and more than ok, hotel close enough to the party zone (~30 min walk) but far enough away that there's no noise or stupidity or traffic, lots of locals and families enjoying themselves at the adjacent public beach (Playa Tortuga). Great value.
Grand Oasis Cancun: Decent for Spring Break
The overall trip was awesome as a there was a group of 9. We all had an awesome time but still some flaws. First off, they do nothing in order to help you. We got to our room and the AC didn't work, nor did the fridge. They pretty much told us we were lying and that there was nothing they can do. Thank God we were pinned the entire time because the food was pretty greasy. Everything is a trap. Every chance they get they will charge you dumb amounts of money. For example one day I fell against a [... read more]
Secrets Huatulco: Great vacation
Love the hotel and this area of Mexico, for us we enjoyed much better the than gulf side of Mexico. Food, rooms, staff and hotel amenities exceeded our expectation! Great area of Mexico to travel beyond the resort, did a few trips into town and some surfing beaches always felt safe and local are very friendly.
Platinum Yucatan Princess: Quiet and relaxing resort
Was comparable to other 5 star locations we have been to in the area. Food was great, service was prompt and friendly, drinks were cold and plentiful. A/C was a bit lacking (room was set as low as it goes, 22, and it was VERY humid even with the fan on high the whole stay, sheets and clothes were always damp as a result)- this is a very MINOR complaint and would not stop us from returning. Beach was as advertised and reviewed so no surprises there. Quiet resort, but there is a lot of action next [... read more]
Selection Riviera Cancun: Resort good value as long as swimming in Ocean does not matter to you.
The was a very clean well ran establishment. Pools were nice food was good. People working there was great. No major rush to find a chair since there were enough good seats for everyone. Evening shows were good. The only major negative was for all resorts in this area is the beach. Sea week more than 1 foot high daily Sharp rocks in water Impossible to swim in the Ocean here. The reef that runs down past these hotels make it impossible to enjoy the water in the Ocean. Beach sand nice but swimmin [... read more]
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice resort
Water at the beach was brown. Didn't want to go in. Pools were nice. Got sick ever day from the food. Spent a lot of time in the washroom. Food was always cold. Not a lot of shaded areas to sit by the pools. Didn't like having to pay for lost hotel or pool cards. Not a lot to do unless you paid for an excursion.
El Dorado Seaside Palms: Wonderful Culinary Getaway!
We were amazed at the quality of the place! The food, staff and cocktails were definitely 5 star and worth going for - not at all what you’d expect at an all inclusive. Go for the swim up suites and the more attractive Sensimar side. (The Eldorado side isn’t nearly as attractive). Local excursions into neighbouring Tulum were easy to coordinate independently.
Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort
We just returned from the Royalton Cancun. We were in a swim up suite in the Hideaway Section with Diamond service. We were very pleased with this resort. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained.Food and service was terrific.Room service was quick and dependable. Not once were we bothered with anyone selling anything. The butlers were wonderful(Jose and Alavero). All staff members were very pleasant and always seemed happy to serve us.Pool towels were never an issue. We are very happy we fo [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic experience
Nothing but good reviews for this resort. The staff were beyond friendly, the rooms were great, beautiful pools and beaches. Food was incredible. Resort was very big, and transportation was always available to the different locations around the resort. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Would 100% go back.
