Melia Marina Varadero: Wonderful Relaxing Tim
First time to Varadero. Beautiful hotel, beautiful weather and I cannot wait to see the hotel when everything is completed. Alexei and Jennys were the best employees. I would come back to the hotel just to see them.
Be Live Turquesa: Would not go black¡,
I have never Been to Cuba before and I chose a 4 star because I didn't want a substandard place to stay. That idea went out the window when I got to the room. Shower hardly worked, room looked like it needed cosmetic work. I'm not going back to that hotel ever.
Roc Arenas Doradas: Nice small family resort for price
- beautiful beach and nice pool - average food, bring condiments like peanut butter and syrup - good service - great live music - good option if you want less crowds and a smaller resort - renos to upgrade rooms are ongoing which is good as we were in an old room and there was no where to put clothes (no dressers) also no room clock
Starfish Jibacoa: Nice resort
3 stars or 3 1/2 stars perfectly reflects resort rating. Personal expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Not for the common vacationer, not for kids, not for fun adventurers. Bungalows are comfy and food is clean.
Resonance Blu Varadero: No good memories except for the beach
The beach is great, food was terrible to be expected but was bad. The room was very dated had ants and spiders that joined us. The resorts service was bad and the beer was awe fully warm every day except one. Would not return to the resort and one last piece of advice do not wait for the carts to take you around you better to walk
Club Kawama: best for us in varadara
Go to this resort every tear since 1992 the people are like family.the layout of the grounds is perfect for good or bad weather. Dining is good with a picture perfect view.Planing a return now for thier aniversary opening. It is an older resort but has been revamped many times. Leida see you soon!Example: What did you think about this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.)
Club Kawama: Good value for the money!
We got a real good deal on a 3 day 4 night stay. Under 500 each. You need to go in with the expectation that this is an old resort with limited selections. We wanted some sun and relaxation. Our first room was awful and not the superior accommodation that we reserved and paid for, this was a last minute deal! We were polite but firm with the front desk and gave them a gratuity for a better room, we got a fantastic room. Food was ok. Overall we were happy not sure we would have like a full week h [... read more]
Resonance Blu Varadero: WE HAD A GREAT HOLIDAY beautiful tans and very rel
The hotel property is huge so be prepared to walk A LOT they do have golf carts (seats 9)but the wait for them took a while so we just walked...The exercise was great. We stayed in block 25 ( rooms 25306 25307) The plumbing in our room 306 wasn't great at all the toilet kept getting plugged up...but our kids room 25307 toilet worked great. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The TV worked great not too many channels though all Spanish with the exception of 2 including 1 movie channel which wa [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: A work in progress
We stayed at this beautiful hotel last October . The hotel had only been open a few months and it was still having a few teething problems. We had a wonderful time ,it was quite empty so we had great service from the friendly staff. Few people were on the beach or in the pool which was great . Not all restaurants were open but usually the buffet and one other were each night. I think once all the little problems were ironed out ( locks on balcony doors locked automatically leaving guests strande [... read more]
Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Awesome trip overall
Everything was very clean, staff very friendly, room had amazing view, loved the contests at the pool, the beach was breath taking. The shows every night were so much fun and we had the best trip ever
Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Closest resort to the beach in Varadero
We picked this resort due to the proximity to the beach and have stayed there twice. Both times were great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food, as you have probably heard about Cuba, was acceptable. Resort was clean and rooms were fine, however little time we spent in them. The resort did a lot of things to get you involved. Great vacation for the price!
Palma Real: Best Trip Yet!!
My cousin and I wanted to go on a trip but did not want to spend a fortune. . This resort was perfect for us! The room was always clean, it was a bit small but we the only time we spent there was for sleeping and we didn't do much of that the week we were there anyways. The resort is attached to The Havana night club, so when you are staying there you get in free of charge (there is a $10 cover charge for everyone else) so there is always something going on at night time! We didn't get the chanc [... read more]
Memories Jibacoa: Just okay
Everything was clean and tidy, the people were friendly but not overly so, the beach was ok. I was happy to enjoy a little tennis while I was there. Overall it was disappointing, the beach wasn't very swimmable.
Roc Barlovento: Beautyfull Setting !
We both loved this Place so much and want to go back. The Food was very much to our liking . The Rooms comfortable , and the Staff always helpfull and smiling. By the time we needed to go Home, we both felt rested . We are already looking forward to our next stay, can't wait to plunge myself in the Ocean Waves and soak in the Sun !!
Melia Las Americas: GREAT PLACE
Everything for us is perfect--that's why we keep going back--7 times! This is an adults only resort and the beach is only a walk down a wide, easy, wooden staircase directly from the hotel. The staff is very good to us, but then again we have a great respect and treat all humans with dignity.
Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Excellent
A totally positive experience from check-in to departure. Food was great with a wide variety at many different venues. The beach was amazing with loungers always available. Courteous staff and large rooms.
Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Amazing resort
Everything was amazing from the food to the rooms, service was second to none! The employees were always helpful, courteous, and happy. The pools were immaculate and you could always get a towel even without an exchange if you forgot yours in the room.
Starfish Jibacoa: Good Value for your money
We, my husband and I have been visiting this resort since 2006 and keep returning because of the service and beach to which I will give 5 stars. As for the food, it all depends what time of the year one visits. Its proximity to Havana is another draw. We have travel extensively through Cuba and the people working at this resort have to be some of the best we have encounter. We took our parents to this hotel last Oct. for their 50th wedding anniversary and they really like it.
Melia Marina Varadero: Amazing staff and beautiful resort!
Nice location, beautiful resort. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Our 2 bedroom apartment was amazing. Our only complaint was the food could have been a little better, and an adults only section would be great.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Good time but staff needs an overhaul in attitude
The resort says and we paid for Ocean view, but it was fight to get once we were there . The staff do not smile or welcome you. Chairs are scarce around the pool and the beach. Only stay in the new #6 building. On the good side. Sunwing's staff was a great help. Food was excellent for Cuba. I wish people would learn some manners and etiquette on buffet manners. I actually saw a woman break bread with her hands and leave the rest of the loaf. A KNIFE was in front of her. So yes I reminded her. So [... read more]
