Grand Memories Punta Cana: NOT AS ADVERTISED

This is NOT a short walk to the beach. Coffee maker is only included if you ask for it (over and over again). Mini fridge is not stocked daily. Unable to change or exchange $ at the front desk. Constant harassment by concierge for time share like meeting to sell into the Royalton (which is the resort that is a short walk to the beach). Food, even at a la cartes, was nothing special. It was windy while we were there and patio door whistled loudly all night. If we left if open, we got eaten by mo [... read more]squitoes. Major erosion at the beach. This resort is all about segregation. Grand Memories guests are lowest class. Then Diamond Club (pay to upgrade), then Royalton (pay again) then Hideaway (pay again). Pluses: no towel police, pools are nice (at least the ones we were allowed to use), waterpark no line ups, no reservations for a la cartes (that we were allowed to go to), rooms clean.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Great resort

We stayed at the Sanctuary. First time in an adult only hotel, and it was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Beach was beautiful Very clean hotel with spacious rooms. Food was so so but this is epected for Cuba. Would definitely go back.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing beach and poor service

Hello, so...The hotel offers two dinners in the two restaurants. What can I say? We saw a rat at dinner ! All dishes in both restaurants have a terrible taste. Edible food was in the buffet and the one that was immediately cooked for us (meat, omelettes, fish). The cooked meal was previously inedible. Delicious coffee and ice cream in a cafe-bar were very tasty . We went for dinner to a beach restaurant (20 minutes by taxi from hotel). I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s really 3 star hotel following my observation.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Outstanding Resort the only BAD thing is the BUGS

The Grounds are well-groomed and the pools are very clean. Our butlers Lestor & Dayana were Great and looked after us all week. Our room was excellent and everything ok except the TV and we are not TV watchers away. We had a Junior Suite with Balcony that you could not sit out on as you get eaten alive with BUGS no Spray works. I personally would not upgrade to the ocean view room as the only thing you can see the bush around the resort is 30 feet high. Ala carte was a bit better but again very noisy and score them 3.5

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Fabulous Holiday!

Memories Trinidad is a great resort. This year we went with our daughter and son-in-law and we had an excellent time. The resort itself is amazing, it is clean and the staff is very dedicated to making your holiday worry free. The rooms were comfortable and kept very clean the had normal water pressure, the air conditioner worked and the beds were very comfortable. I cannot say enough about the staff, they are friendly, professional and do everything they can to meet our expectations. Idalmis [... read more] and Jose at the lobby bar are a lot of fun and they go above and beyond. Frank is the entertainment and coordinated a "white party" most everyone at the resort participated and it was a great evening. Osmany is public relations and he is very helpful if you have any questions, if he doesn't know, he will make every effort to find the answer or help you any way he can. The food was very good. We have vacationed at this resort for many years and my husband commented that the food this year was the best it has ever been. Trinidad is an amazing city, we went in to the Trinidad twice this year, $10 CUC by taxi or there is a bus that will pick you up a the resort for $2 CUC. There is a restaurant called "La Botija" in Trinidad, worth the visit, the prices are excellent, the service is super and the food is great! Check them out on Facebook! The beach is stunning! The weather was perfect. We had a taxi driver tell us that Varadero was raining and chilly. Trinidad was hot and sunny the whole week we were there! All in all we had an absolutely wonderful holiday. I am going back in January to enjoy another great week! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling to Cuba! You will not be disappointed.

Sanctuary was great. Some small issues in rooms but nothing major. And they were always super helpful if you needed anything. Would definitely go back! Pool and beach was amazing and staff at pools and beach - excellent!

Resonance Blu Varadero: Will never stay here again

The resort was horrible. A bad case of the fleas by everyone in our trip. A case of food poisoning for me and the food was just plain horrible will never go back to any resort in Cuba again. Then on top of it all stayed in the horrible Cuba air port in Varadero from 1 pm till 1130 pm due to plane troubles so Sunwing will never have me business again

Beach 5.0, Pool 5.0, Service 5.0, Food very good for cuba, Room no more then 3.5-4.0 stars. The service was unbelievable, the butlers were always there too book a la cartes and help. All together the best service i have had in Cuba. The most beautiful beach i have been to in Cuba, always enough room and definitely quieter then “family resorts”. Our butlers booked us an a la carte everynight, and the food was satisfying - we never went to the buffet afterwards to fill up. It really just depends from person to person but there was a fair selection for lunch and breakfast as well. We stayed in bungalow 61 with a beautiful ocean view. The room needs to be UPDATED asap. Even a quick repaint would help so much. Mind you the room itself was clean, no bugs, some small marks on the sheet but nothing concerning. Its just outdated, some stains on walls, there was a hole in the shower from where some sort of hanger used to be etc. Overall we had a great couples vacation and would recommend if you dont mind an outdated room.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: So beautiful

Everything was super and a100 % me and my husband will come back in this place we meet nice and friendly personnel in this resort entertainment five stars 👍😁I’m not going to forget that beautiful place like Cayo Coco

Memories Paraiso: Very good resort, amazing Cuba holidays!

This resort is made of 3 connecting resorts that you can visit & has a replica of Spanish village with great shops & vendors. The grounds are very well taken care of. Rooms are clean & food is ok for Cuban standards, you can always find something to eat. The only downside is long lineups & alot of people smoking everywhere, they need to have designated smoking locations. If they had more staff working, preparing the food, would be better. We would definitely be back to this amazing resort. Short walk to the most amazing beach in Cuba!

Memories Jibacoa: Quiet Resort

This is a quiet resort with no close towns near by. It is very dated and the pool is missing a lot of tiles so watch your feet. Food is good with International restaurant being the best. Beach is great and the snorkeling is amazing.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Quiet and relaxing

Rooms were comfortable, butler Isabel was fantastic! The food at Sanctuary was some of the best we have experienced in Cuba! The pool is well maintained, quiet and never had a hard time finding a lounger.

We visited in November 2019 and had a great vacation. Service was excellent, beaches were beautiful, room was spacious and clean. The food was ok; the selection was the poorest we have seen in Cuba ever, but the chefs did a great job with what they had.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Loved it

We spent a week at the beginning of December at Grand Memories Splash with two children 7 and 11 year old. We truly enjoyed it - large and clean rooms, beautiful gardens, great food and entertainment. We were worried about the walk to Royalton, but we actually enjoyed the distance (which, by the way, is a 5 minute walk) because it made the resort feel more like a mini-town and not a confined space. The waterpark was awesome, and never crowded. We would definitely return.

Grand Memories Varadero: Grand Memories says it all.

When you go to Cuba you have to always keep in mind that you may not get what you think you pay for if your use to going to a 5 star resort in the Bahamas or Mexico. I WILL NAME STAFF THAT HAVE GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY FOR US,,,,, i will start with the baggage cart drivers. AMAZING ATTITUDES AND FRIENDLY TIP OR NO TIP THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY... starting with Alex.."Yadiyan Gonzales" professional, polite, out of this world kindness in him. Darll never got his candy but still went out of his way with kindness to help me. He will get amazing people... humble good to the bone hard working and i just love them. I forget his real name but the big guy... i call him Mike Tyson cause he saved my boyfriend from a drunken stupid decision cause he knew that wasn't my mike. so mike tyson he is to me. wonderful amazing man. a few more but the new young guy Bryan,... wow what a beautiful and heartwarming gentleman. came running out when mu bus was about to leave to give me a hug and his coordinates... oh my god i could go on and on. The chef in the sanctuary... the host in the sanctuary reastaurant. the beach bar staff Guilermo garcia... Lorenazo... Grand Memories Varadero: Amazing resort

Rooms were clean, food was the best I've had in Cuba, the staff took a bit to get warmed up to new people but once they did they were fantastic , sandra in the buffet was fantastic and Darlay in the main lobby bar made the best drinks

Memories Paraiso: non revenir

Ce hôtel n'est pas conforme. Les réparations de la chambre ne sont jamais réparées, même à 2 semaines. La douche fait une inondation, presque, et la télévision a brûlé. Les animateurs sont mauvais et ils n'ont pas du tout.

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Ideal Weather

Travelled as a senior couple and enjoyed our stay however this resort is more suited to families! Pluses:-our room appeared recently renovated. Everything worked and was kept spotless by the hard working maid. -grounds and pool were well maintained and always clean -food - no complaints at either the buffet or a-la-cartes. Negatives:-check in/out area and counter very small and understaffed. Took way too long. -our room in block 22 a long, long way from the beach. The shuttles were occa [... read more]sionally full or broken down. -the beach appeared to have suffered significant erosion and was very small and crowded where the lounge chairs were for the Grand Memories guests. Nothing to do with the resort, but the flight home with Sunwing was a bit of a nightmare after experiencing a 4 hour delay in departure. Stayed Nov.25 - Dec.3, 2019 Would recommend for families with children.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Great Resort

Amazing beautifully maintained grounds. Great staff. TV was poor. Diamond Club was a joke, need a lot of work,poorly set-up. Beach was great as always, but sad to see so much floating plastic compared to previous visits.
