Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Nice Resort!

We enjoyed our vacation at the Iberostar Cozumel. The grounds are beautiful. Very lush tropical feeling. It’s a very low key resort we found. Rooms are small but sufficient, and very clean! Our room had been renovated with a very nice bathroom. Food is decent. All employees wonderful and friendly. One thing to consider at this resort is you cannot easily access entering the water directly from the beach. It is very rocky. They have a pier you walk down and enter the water by walking down [... read more] some steps. The great part about this is all the wonderful fish that swim around you. That was beautiful! Overall we enjoyed our time at this resort.

Samba Vallarta: Good Resort

Travelled Feb 8th to 15th. The resort is a nice place with very well kept grounds, the rooms were nice and clean. The food was fantastic with a lot of choices. The only down fault to this resort is the ocean is not as nice as cuba, not that nice clear blue waters and the shows were okay but the biggest is they played volleyball only no poolside games and very little other activities, it is nice to relax but something to do would be good also I found it very boring. But the highlight of our trip  [... read more]was from one gentleman who works there named Israel he came and picked us up on his day off and took us to Puerto Vallarta for a few hours, anyone to come on his day off and do this deserves to be mentioned.....He is very kind and totally went above and beyond his job description, these people are keepers and help the owners of these resorts and I would say deserves a better pay for his hospitality not only with us but others also. I can't say I would be back only because of the lack of activities...it was bad. The up to a small resort is no line ups etc. Thank You again to Israel and one other thing is your staff are amazing.

Barcelo Karmina: very good resort

Nice and clean, friendly staff, need a little maintenance but nothing serious. Would have enjoyed a little pre show music and dancing in the lobby or designated area not everyone stays up late enough for the disco. Food was good but there is a need to watch the serving temperature for the food. Some of it was cold and this could create a situation were food poisoning could happen. Overall great stay

Canto Del Sol: Exceptional Resort

This hotel was not only a beautiful place, it was staffed by some of the friendliest and helpful people I have met. Access from pool to room is easy and not a far walk. Activities for children and adults were amazing and the access to food was available 24 hours. The hotel is situated right on the beach and within walking distance to a huge mall, and the Malicon. Occidental Cozumel: Amazing holiday

My husband and I just returned from Occidental in Cozumel and what wonderful holiday we had. From its pristine grounds to its beautiful white sand beach with the most crstyal clear waters, this hotel won't disappoint. Staff was always plesant and so accommodating. Our room was spotless daily and always added touch to our room. ( Room walls were a little thin) We never had a bad meal, there was always something interesting and different to eat. Excellence Playa Mujeres: Amazing resort!

We had an amazing time at the Excellence Playa Mujeres resort. The grounds of this resort are absolutely beautiful. The grounds always looked well manicured and nothing looked out of place at the resort either, you would have thought the resort was brand new with how well the upkeep is. The people who work at the resort are very friendly and are always offering you a smile throughout the day. The food was amazing at this resort, every meal was fantastic. From the French restaurant to the Spic [... read more]e restaurant, and the Indian (my favorite). We visited the specialty coffee shop every morning as well for a latte or cappuccino. The sandwiches from the coffee shop were so fresh and tasted amazing! We had dinner at "The Grill" restaurant the one evening which was absolutely fantastic as well. The restaurant is all open and having the evening breeze come in during the dinner added a great touch to the meal and the overall atmosphere as well. The gym at this resort was really good too. I used the gym a couple of times during the week and was impressed with the equipment available, along with cold water to drink and towels for use as well. This trip was fantastic overall and I look forward to returning again in the future. I cannot say enough, how wonderful this resort is. It is at the top of my vacation destinations.

Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills: Great Vacay

This hotel was all that we expected. The staff are great and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. We were in building 5 on the 4th floor (5402) great resort views and steps to the upper salt water pool and snack bar. Room was clean the shower was huge A/C worked fine and the mini bar was well stocked daily. Food is good but service is a little mixed up. Beer is Dos secci at the bars and Tecatti in your room both in cans. There is draft in the lower pools. Overall it was a great holiday and would recommend this resort to anyone who likes walking and doesn’t mind hills.

Hacienda Encantada Resort and Spa: Fantastic views

We had a fabulous stay at the Hacienda Encantada. Manuel was amazing, he made us feel welcome when we arrived and like family by the end of our stay. He is an asset to the resort. Billy was also a key player in our stay, he was great as our server on many occasions. He gave us his service button which we named the “Billy Button” and never let us down. We would recommend this resort.

Secrets Huatulco: Awesome place! Most amazing views!!

The views were spectacular. The restaurants were amazing. The staff were excellent. All in all, this was a great place. Our only complaint, and it was not a huge deal, was the beach sand was more coarse than the finer sands of the Caribbean.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Outstanding 5 star All-Inclusive Resort

Just returned from one week at Hotel Xcaret (Feb 9-16th) with 2 other couples to celebrate our 60th birthdays. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms, pools, food, parks and staff were amazing. Outstanding 5 star All-Inclusive Resort. Would definitely return again.

Allegro Cozumel: Great place

We had a great trip. The staff are amazing and very helpful. This is our second time at this resort and have had a great experience. They are always working on upgrading to make the place nice. I heard some people complain about the food but we never had a complaint.

Grand Sunset Princess: Nice resort

The resort is amazing. The food I was not happy with. Not much shell fish. Lobster tail expensive The alacarts were not very good Compared to previous countries Room service very good except no fancy towel animals. Big resort lots of walking

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Perfect paradise

Everything was exquisite. Cleanliness was impeccable in the rooms, dining facilities, walking trails and amenities. The food was fresh, safe to eat and options a plenty. A la carte restos were top notch with service, style and taste. Met some great people and the golf course was gorgeous. Highly recommend the hydrotherapy and athletic massage. I would definitely go back.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: It was all that we expect from a trip and more. amazing

This hotel was amazing. never had better service like this before. Staff and servers were the best. (a special thank you to Gabriel and Luis from the buffet restaurant and to Jessica who made sure we had plenty of drinks at the pool.)

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Fantastic spot

The hotel was beautiful very clean great service huge resort but tons of space to just relax and not be bothered by others. Food was very good service was excellent but our room had a terrible view. Lots to do and the whole family had great experience.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Absolutely amazing!

We spent a week over Valentine's Day and have nothing but good things to say, from the super friendly staff, great food selection, cleanliness of rooms and meticulously maintained grounds. We will definitely be back.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Great resort

While this resort wasn't fully operational when we went (the lagoons weren't fully finished for swimming in) it was still amazing. Friendly staff- you could stop anyone and ask a question and they were respectful, kind and always willing to help out. The resort itself was beautiful. Well spread out so even though this is a larger resort you never felt that you were crowded. Having the parks included in the cost of this resort is amazing. If I ever thought of taking my son to Disney again--I [... read more] wouldn't. If you like outdoors this a great place to take family. Having the opportunity to snorkel, underwater rivers, etc.... via the parks is way better for the adventurer then Disney (in my opinion) and I think when it is fully operational, very comparable in price. Three friends went to this resort. The rooms were large with lots of space for us and, in reality, four of us could have fit very comfortably in the room if we wanted to. The balconies are large enough for two hammocks, little alcove with a coach and it had another chair on it. Sometimes they were a bit later with making up the room but we would just call, let them know we were heading out for drinks and supper and would ask them to make the room. It was always done when we returned. The bar fridge was the same--well stocked and if we ever needed anything we just called and they would arrive in a very timely fashion. Food was great with a lot of variety- something for everyone. If you are a beach lover you may not be as enthused. The beach is lovely but not very long so you can't go for long walks along the beach. But they have paths everyone on the resort and you can walk easily and safely. While we were there the winds were high so we couldn't snorkel off the beach (although we were told you can when it's calm). The water was lovely and warm. For the cooler days the heated infinity pool was lovely (although the ocean water was, I think, almost the same temperature). For us, we booked when they had their opening deal--it was an amazing deal. But, even looking at the prices now and know what we got for service, food, inclusion of the park I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Incredible Resort

Beautiful hotel on a large property with plenty of activities and restaurants in the complex. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious at every location and there are plenty of loungers at pool and beach in sun or shade. Can't wait to return!!!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great Family Resort

There were six of us on our family vacation, ranging in age from 12 (grandson) to 63 and we all had a really great holiday. We had three rooms, all in the same building. We were able to connect easily through the hotel telephone system or using their wifi on on cells. The gourmet a la carte restaurants were amazing! My favourite was the Italian restaurant - beef tenderloin, seafood pasta, Yummy! The staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Our room was always kept clean and fresh by Esperanza. Our king bed was very comfortable. We experienced some plumbing issues with our toilet - couldn't flush any paper! We all loved the beach and enjoyed fabulous beach massages. The kids got nonpermanent tattoos. Day trips were abundant, but understand the cancellation policy...very difficult to get a refund.

Flamingo Vallarta: Great experience

We had wonderful time at Flamingo - amazing, helpful, and friendly staff, working like crazy to make you happy, beautiful and very clean property with great artistic touch, beautiful marina area, free shuttle Los Camarones beach, great food variety. Nice and free activities. Just be aware that the only beach within the walking distance (Boca Negra) has crocodiles, so the swimming is not recommended.
