Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great resort

This is no doubt one of the nicest resort we ever go. Just one suggestion buy rooms directly from hotel not through agents. We go there with kids and two rooms and promised by Trip Central agent that rooms will be close one to another. Sadly we were placed on the different flors acrossed in the building and moved to different resort as well. We contacted Trip Central but they informed us that have nothing to do with them and ask us to contact Air Canada vacation hotel agent. This agent can’t  [... read more]help us and informed that Trip Central can’t guarantee nothing from Canada and only help will be if we buy package from hotel directly. That was rough start but after that we have awesome time with outstanding food and services.

Grand Sunset Princess: Ok resort

The resort was a little confusing as they have mirrored lobbies, Food was ok had to be early to get the bacon at breakfast. Beach is very small and rocky. Power went out in our room , called front desk but no answer at 3 am. NOT ENOUGH BAR STAFF HAD TO WAIT TO Long FOR SERVICE.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Lovely Stay

Stayed February 6th to February 13th, 2018 - My husband and I chose this resort for our honeymoon and could not be happier with that choice. The staff was lovely, the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfy. The food was good (not the best I have ever had, but definitely good enough to make me look forward to meals). The pool is massive and I can definitely say you will never have any difficulty finding a pool chair to lounge on, no matter the time of day. Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Amazing Vacation Destination

This resort is more then we could have ever asked for. From the moment the private shuttle picks you up and takes you directly to the resort it was seemless. The check in was a breeze and we even got an upgrade. Which in all honesty wasn't necessary as you spend little time in your room and the standard garden rooms are absolutely beautiful! Large rooms, comfortable beds, hammocks on the deck, spa like washroom that's beyond beautiful! I don't even know if we seen everything at the resort as the [... read more]re are so many secret beautiful spots to explore and see both day and night. Amazing pools, rivers and beach! Restaurants were above and beyond, including the always fresh buffet where meals can be prepped right in front of you as well. Trust me, you won't go hungry here! And best of all, the all fun inclusive package. This by far was the selling point for me! A shuttle comes every 20-30mins to take you to three different parks, Xcaret, Xplor, Xenses. And they all offer something amazing for all family members. Book this place, it will not dissapoint! I could go on and on, but it's truly a must see resort!

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Amazing Resort

We had the best time at the Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm!! Everything was great. Food was amazing, pool was refreshing, rooms were clean. Couldn't have asked for a better place for the price. We can't wait to go back.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: A lovely family friendly place

We really enjoy the Marival Resort its a great place for the whole family , the food is great, I would like to mention though that not all rooms are equal, if you are not on the new side which I don't know how you get those ones rooms as I requested them and when I arrived I was told NO, so we were on the club side which is dated but clean, and not much of a water view a lot of roof tops are in your way of the view, so I was disappointed in that for sure.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: All good except for the food!

The hotel and grounds was one of the most beautiful we have seen and we travel 2-3 times a year to all inclusive properties. The staff is pretty amazing, they all seem happy to be there and are always willing to help. The beach and swimming pools are lovely. Entertainment staff work hard during the day and the shows at night were well done. The only downside was the food, lack of variety!! We very seldom saw meats of any kind and small selection of fish only...one evening some small steaks, [... read more] another evening a pork roast but other than that a very small selection. A la carte were just OK, Japanese was actually quite good. We had a great week with a party of 23 for an after Wedding Group and all agreed that the food was under par for the price we paid and the brand Iberostar. For this reason most of us would not return to this property.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Absolute Perfection

The Ocean Coral & Turquesa was absolute perfection from the time we arrived to the day we said goodbye.  Our stay was the week of Feb 5th to 12th, 2018 and I miss it already! This resort exceeded all of our expectations!  The food was fantastic, the property was stunning, the service was impecable and the rooms were spotless! From the buffet to the al a carte menus, there is no possible way to go hungry as the variety was endless. Our room was the not the privilege but the sapphire club option. We could not use the privilege restaurant or privilege beach area, but it included use of the privilege pool, wine on arrival in the room, slippers and bathrobes, and very large spotless suite. The 4 pools were very clean and refreshing, you could choose a different one depending if you wanted the activities or quiet and relaxing. They have plenty of lounging options so always a space available. The beach was beautiful and well cared for with grooming done all the time. Plenty of lounge chairs and palapa's for everyone including beach service for drinks. The service from the resort is extremely unique as there is not one area of service that is lacking in attention to detail and the staff go above all to make your stay the best possible.  Thanks to all at the resort, we will definitely be back for sure!

Barcelo Karmina: Beautiful Place

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Barcelo Karmina. The food was delicious and the grounds and pools were beautiful and well maintained. Our room was the largest we've ever stayed in and it was very clean. The view from our room was fantastic. We would have like to stay longer.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Great resort!

Food, beach, pool area, entertainment and bars were fabulous. French restaurant has the best food while the steak house provided very simple steaks. Staff weee very courteous and very friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort

Camino Real Zaashila: Quiet and beautiful landscape.

The grounds were pretty, although dated walkways and not good for those that are not very mobile. We had an oceanfront room at the end of block 3. We were on the second floor. The room was larger being an end unit. Clean room and comfortable King size.bed, the air conditioning worked very well. The view was limited and we saw the Ocean but it was blocked by a large cement wall on one side. the patio furniture was not comfortable and very dated and rusty. There was always hot water available, w [... read more]e also had to call for maintenance one night for the toilet and they were there within 5 minutes to fix it. The fridge was stocked daily with beer, pop and snacks. There was always a large and 2 small bottles of water left daily. The rooms were cleaned promptly and well. The food was limited , breakfast was a buffet every morning and it was good with limited choices. you could order room service anytime which we did not do. Lunch was available at an oceanfront restaurant and it was nice with many choices available, or you could order room service or order at the beach and they bring to your chairs. Dinner was limited and only once restaurant available at the beach oceanfront restaurant one night and the next at the Mexican restaurant in the main part of the resort. We were very bored after the same choice of meals after 4 nights. There were three convention groups over our 7 day stay which was very disruptive to the quiet nature of this resort and the size of it. As well it limited our use of facilities and restaurants. The washrooms throughout the public areas, there were only 3 but they were very rustic and smelled poorly. I just went to our room. the staff were very friendly and worked so hard, except for the main bartender Juan at the pool bar who was very rude. He would totally ignore us and others when we went to order and i was very relieved when he was absent the last 2 days. The pool was nice and kept clean, many small tiles missing. Lounge chairs some ok, many or most very dated and tired. We enjoyed the resort but would probably not return and try somewhere else with better facilities, better maintained, more food options and with activities. The Camino real had no activities or entertainment.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing hotel! Best trip yet!

Had an amazing time at this hotel. The food, beach, grounds and staff were amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The check in was smooth. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We had great weather and enjoyed ourselves. Animation team was terrific. I would definitely go back!

Secrets Huatulco: Fabulous

This was by far our favourite resort. Everything exceeded our expectations. The ocean was quite rough but you could sit under the cabanas on the beach and swim in the pool. Cabs were inexpensive and we felt very safe to go on adventures. We will be returning.

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Wonderful first winter vacation!

Sunset Plaza was incredible and better than I expected in every way. Greeting upon arrival to helping upon checkout was great. Great room. Great food choices. Clean resort inside and out. Will return.for sure.

Riu Dunamar: Great relaxing resort

The beach is the highlight of this resort. Beautiful beach! Has a little of everything for everyone. The rooms were clean and spacious. The room bar was restocked daily. Everything was very neat and clean. The food was great with lots of options for everyone. The staff was very helpful and friendly with smiles from all of them. The resort has a lot of room for those that may want a little space for themselves. There was no real options for snorkelling, which means that you would have to go on a [... read more]n excursion for that. The resort is very secluded with a 25 -35 minute drive to downtown Cancun, so this resort wouldn't be recommended for excursion lovers. But it was a great place to relax and enjoy good entertainment every evening at the spacious stage area. It would be nice to have washrooms a little closer to the beach. Overall , we enjoyed our stay.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Good Resort

The Barcelo Maya Resort is a collection of resorts (5 in total) on a large property with lots of amenities, decent rooms, and good food overall. If you get a good deal on the price, it is highly recommended. There are a fair number of a la carte restaurants, most which do not disappoint depending on your preferences. The buffets offer lots of choice and of good quality as well. The restaurants close to the beach are okay, but get a little boring after awhile, since the menu is very repetitiv [... read more]e. There is a decent beach at the south end of the property which is protected from the wind and calmer than the northern end. However, it's quite shallow and still rocky a hundred or so metres from shore. The beach at the north end is much more windy, wavy, and rocky, however, if you like snorkeling, this is the beach to go to, although you may have to swim a relatively far out from the beach to find the reefs. We found it very clean, and the staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. We have been there twice, if that is any testament to the quality of the resort. We stayed in the Maya Caribe, which is probably at the lower end of the scale for the 5 resorts. If we were to go again, we would try to stay in the Maya Tropical or the Maya Colonial, at the northern end; they seem to be a bit more upscale with nicer property. Or the Maya Beach at the extreme southern end which, at the edge of the property, is pretty quiet. We found the Caribe kind of noisy.

Canto Del Sol: good resort

the common areas and rooms are well taken care of. generally the pool and daytime entertainment is good. the restaurants for the most part offer mexican style cooking and a decent selection. close to downtown and airport, very convenient. staff is outstanding.

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Barcelo Resort

Our stay at the Barcelo Resort was lovely. The hotel itself is a little old,but the cleanliness of the rooms and upkeep of the grounds was amazing. The staff was fabulous and could not do enough for you. Everyone was charming.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Wonderful resort

Wonderful resort, best food we have had yet, multiple pools to find what you are looking for, staff is excellent. Could always find a seat at any of the pools or the beach. There are timeshare people every morning outside the buffet and in the lobby, but if you tell them you are leaving that day they will leave you alone.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Most amazing resort

The grounds were meticulous, the rooms were nice and clean, the resort was big and spacious, the beach was fabulous. We never felt crowded. This is the most beautiful resort we have ever visited in all of our travels.
