Krystal Grand Cancun: 100% Perfect
As a frequent traveler I have never wanted to return to a resort until I arrived at Reflect in Cancun. This place is amazing. Food, beach, pool, night shows, sunrises. I had everything I wanted and will definitely be returning for my next vacation. Not one single thing let me down.
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Recommend
It was very good service, clean, staff were nice and on top of things.but one thing never agree on zero level hotel rooms cause all restaurants are on first floor, every time a chair is moved you hear it till morning. Our first night was a nightmare, but then we asked for different room , the ride from airport to hotel was 1 hour the agent told me 20 minutes only!!!. And make sure check the weather....also no privacy when taking shower.
Krystal Grand Cancun: Great Resort
Very clean smaller resort, with great pools. absolutely wonderful beach, all just outside the door. Rooms were perfect. Staff amazing, very attentive. 24hr room service. Smaller type of entertainment each evening as well. Very well coordinated check in and out. The only negative was the food in the buffet . Breakfast was great, but for other meals- choices were very limited. The menu didn't change much each day either. I absolutely loved all of the 4 restaurants. The food was wonderful. Love [... read more]
Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort
Hotel overall was good. Food was good and service was great. I found the weather during January to be quite windy, which was the real only negative thing. Pools were clean and well kept. The ocean was extremely wavy, but that was due to the weather.
Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Fantastic Staff
Friendly helpful staff, good selection of food for picky kids. Room had a leak which took a while to get fixed and public bathrooms were not kept very clean but the rest of the resort was well kept. Kids enjoyed the pool and beach is beautiful
Iberostar Selection Cancun: Nice resort but rooms need to be upgraded
Hotel was nice, service was good but the rooms especially bathrooms were in terrible shape. Beach was great. Restaurants were great and the staff was very good. Lobby bar and service was the best. It was very noisy at some nights.
Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Average
Place was too big, service was below average. Rooms were nice, staff were pleasant Too hard to get restaurant reservations, menus were very limited. Hard to find anyone to ask questions, no concierge service, the app has too many glitches Checkin took way too long
Moon Palace Cancun: Great place to vacation
The grounds, pools and rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Lots of things to do like shows, excursions and activities. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful. It was hard at times to get service poolside and the beach was quite mucky, not nice to swim in. Overall, I would recommend and attend again.
Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Dreams playa mujeres
The hotel was beautiful and very clean, the staff were super friendly, the food was great, and the childrens club was awesome! Our only vomplaint would be that there were no reservations for the a la cartes which made for some long wait times otherwise it was awesome!
Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Grand Paladium, Mayan coast
The food was good, sometimes very good. I was particularly impressed by how much attention you pay to peoples' food allergies. Very good. For me, who is gluten-free and dairy-free, I was very grateful. It is rare to find the kind of sensitivity you show all your food and dining areas, even by and large, in the dinner restaurants in The Village, I believe it is called. However, I was very distressed at the level of noise in our room, 1305 as I recall. Better check, I think that was it. We had [... read more]
Secrets Playa Mujeres: Love Mexico
Hotel grounds were beautiful, Very well maintained. Beach was lovely. Staff was great, very welcoming and friendly. Food above par. Enjoyed walking around the Dreams resort as well. Not sure the upgrade to preferred was worth the extra cost. The Preferred lounge was nothing special, a sit by the bar area would improve the area. The Rendezvous bar had a nicer ambiance. We did have problems checking out as the staff did not remember/write to our file that we requested an late check out, so hara [... read more]
Grand Oasis Cancun: Never going back
Despite the fact that we spent way more money for this resort we were extremely disappointed. Food was awful Shortage of supply hence long line ups everywhere. I did not take vacation time and spend money to stand in lines. Specially for breakfast. Half hour to get a table and another half hour to get two eggs. They would not do anything to accommodate by switching another restaurant to breakfast mode to help the guests. Some staff were very rude specially at the sushi restaurant. Btw [... read more]
Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Almost perfect!
The grounds, beach and staff were wonderful. The food and drinks were really good. The only downfall, our room, which they were nice enough to upgrade us, was not totally completed. Here was supposed to be a Murphy bed (there was not), missing covers on the light switches, no mirror in the half bath, and shower not totally finished off. The staff were super friendly. We found them to try their best to make everyone happy. There was a mixup with our Japanese meal (told us three different d [... read more]
Grand Oasis Cancun: So so!
The check in line up was HUGE. We had arrived at 11 pm after a 5 hour delayed flight and didn’t get to our room until 12 am. We were told that there is only one restaurant open after 12 am which was 2 miles away from our room. In addition, we had to ask around and wait for a bell man to take our luggage to the room. We were told that wifi would be complimentary prior to arrival. When we got there we were told it was not. Such a shame. Other than that, food was good at Dos Lunas and the oasis [... read more]
Grand Oasis Palm: Excellent resort!
Fantastic service in all departments; top-notch gourmet food and beverages; Adults only; great beach; tastefully renovated premises; satisfactory tennis court; etc. My only complaint, and it is a major one, is absolute lack of acceptable entertainment; and the little of it there was, came with horrible sound system; lousy performers and a totally incompetent DJ, who was either deaf or totally amature for the job. "Turn the volume to MAX" must have been the only thing he learned in music school! [... read more]
Riu Caribe Cancun: Bittersweet resort
It’s a relaxing resort to go to if you like to spend time on the beach. Very calm vibes. Not a lot going on at the resort. After the 3rd day you get bored if you only want to spend time in the resort only. The food isn’t the best. I highly recommend going right when the buffet opens. We ended up going out to eat on the strip and to Riu Cancun. The last few days my eye got infected from the sheets. I woke up to itchy puffy eyes. I asked one of the cleaners to change my sheets. They didn’t [... read more]
Temptation Resort & Spa: awesome vacation,
The rooms clean and tidy, bathrooms clean and spacious, pool amazing, restaurants and buffet provided excellent service and good food, (New years Dinner 150US$) a bit disappointing, Moet Champagne was great, staff was amazing. will go back. topless option was really cool.
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Loved it. :)
Perfect beach lined with palm trees. Beautiful property. Great food every night. Even the nightly shows were way above expectations! 10 days was not enough of a stay... and I would definitely recommend the resort to others and will make a return trip in the future.
Hyatt Zilara Cancun: Awesome
Nicest place I've stayed. 9/10 Only complaints lack of beverage refills in room, lack of drink service to beach earlier in day. Everything was clean. Nice rooms. Amazing bed. The paint jobs in rooms bit sloppy for being "luxury". Everything could use improvements but overall amazing staff, food and grounds. Few small things could be tweaked but great stay for the value.
Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Mixed Reviews
Hotel and hotel grounds are stunning. Grounds are extensive. Be prepared to walk a lot although there are shuttles around just not always when you need them. Golf Courses are just awesome yet Starters could use some training from North American courses on how to run three - 9 hole courses efficiently. You never knew where you were going to play and some were jammed up while other courses nobody on them. Rooms are standard nothing over the top. Shower Water could never regulate, too col [... read more]
