Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Huge resort!

This resort is stunning! It is very large with friendly staff an a lot of restaurants to choose from. The steak house was my favorite! We had the t-bone which was superb! The barbeque jerk chicken in the beach was also amazing! The only downfall at this resort is that the beach area is very big but there are several beach areas. We would definitely stay there again.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Beautiful Resort

This was my favorite resort to date. The lush greenery made us feel as though we were walking through the jungle every day to to get to our room. There is lots of wildlife on this resort which I loved. Rooms are very large and clean. A la carte resteraunts were tasty. Buffets were not great but we always found something we liked. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Excellent vacation!

We visited Grand Palladium Feb 22-27 and had a great time. The room was perfect, walking the paths through the mangroves was beautiful. The resort was clean, service was great. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The only comment I would have is that we traveled with our son and would have liked to eat at the a la carte restaurants but they didn't really have kid friendly food on the menu. The menus looked great thought and other guests raved about the food.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great resort!

Abundance of foods to choose from. Friendly and hard working staff! Nice lobby, accommodations, and beautiful beach! The massage on the beach was terrific! Things that could be improved: don't allow vendors to harass guests into buying their products. Too aggressive! Evening entertainment could have been better. Some of the male waiters frequently made animal sounds around the tables when serving drinks. Doesn't appear professional. Grand Palladium Kantenah: good resort

very good, hard to beat last years weather and ocean though. Extremely windy every day with the grounds crew trying to keep up with the sea weeds accumulating on the beach. Food was excellent and the people are great.

the ground area was very big and easy to walk the room was big and clean and the dinning area was friendly and good they have a lot for food from difference cloture and it good to experiment other food we hade a good time

The minute we arrived we were impressed with our room...exploring the resort was great fun and the place was so clean and the staff were very friendly...professional and fun. Maid service very good. Food was great .beech nice but coral sand.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Well maintained and excellent facilities.

We are frequented this particular resort 3 times now. We always enjoy our stay. Great service on entry. Less in exit. We had our luggage rummaged through. Glasses stollen. Don't recommend leaving luggage with them. We had only because we were denied a late check out so we were 6hrs without a room. We booked 6minths ahead. Requested late checkout multiple times. Each time we were told to come back another day. Very frustrating. They were over booked. A few people were put into a hotel for a few  [... read more]days. Very odd. Otherwise very good. A la carte restaurants are just fabulous. Food is great. Our room was awesome. The one hiccup is we asked for king beds but they had none left so we had two doubles. We moved them together. Again we requested the king beds months in advance. This wa out third visit. I expected to get what we asked for. They need to invest in a better scheduling software. It was an expensive resort.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Truly Paradise!

This hotel is very clean, great food with varieties beyond its competition. Staff is very friendly an desires your are completely satisfied with all aspects of your stay. Special to Roberto in the public relations department.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: OK

We stayed in Villa 28, the room was very clean but had a terrible smell to it. We found if you left the sliding door open it helped. The buffet's were ok the food was always cold. Breakfast was the best meal. The Jerk Hut was great. The Jerk Chicken was amazing. The beaches were really nice and the staff were wonderful. The shows at night were really good.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful location, wonderful climate

The hotel is a beautiful location with spectacular grounds. The food is good, the service in the restaurants is good as well, staff are very polite and helpful but at times in the buffets they were short-staffed and seemed to be rushed and the trays were slow o be replenished (this was not our experience 4 years ago at this resort). There was a fair bit of pressure to "join" the Palladium Travel Club which was being pushed in the lobby daily and no way to show that you had already refused the op [... read more]portunity. The rooms are starting to show their age, light card switches are touchy, screens had rips, bathrooms had grimy edges, doors to patio and closets were hard to open. We were led to believe the resort had gone Non-smoking - but found that there were still ashtrays all along the main walkways which led to smokers congregating there, which meant our asthmatic friend had to run the gauntlet every day on the way to meals. Smokers also congregated at the Infinity Bar in spite of no-smoking signs posted there. If the resort is non-smoking, then the rule should be enforced. If not then say so and those with issues will make alternate arrangements.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful property, uneven maintenance & food

This is huge complex located halfway between Montego Bay and Negril (gorgeous beach). It is a lovely property and facility but this being eroded by uneven maintenance of rooms - esp air ducts and plumbing, patio doors. Although billed as a non-smoking property, huge ashtrays invite smokers along all major corridors of the facility - right outside restaurants and their patios and all major facilities of the resort. This is not a good place for asthmatics (perhaps Palladium would consider a smokin [... read more]g only area in future developments). Food in the à la carte restaurants is superior but service is not superior to that available at the buffets (Ocea stands out as a particularly good server). That said, bread in all areas is very good (kudos to Garth and the rest of the baking team), ditto offerings at the carving, omelet and pasta stations. Labeling at the buffets is often very misleading. Bar staff are almost uniformly charming and efficient. The Miss Lou coffee bar is a lovely evening spot with excellent coffee and dessert offerings and staff - popularity suggests adding another machine to deal with the demand as guests discover it. Too bad the felt topped-tables were not reserved for card and dice players. Other resorts we have used serve coffee in select pool bars in the early morning although this is partially offset by excellent coffee packets offered in our junior suites (although artificial creamers are not great). We were disappointed that the craft 'market' was available only on Friday nights - the night we arrived after a long day of travel. Jamaica Tour excursion staff was helpful - esp when we got ill due to mold in the air ducts/filter in our room. Caroline of Air Transat staff was helpful getting us another room; ditto Kerry at reception. So ... I would offer a qualified recommendation to friends: this is a lovely resort but don't go if you are asthmatic and if you go, be prepared to immediately request a change of room or equipment if it is not up to your expectations - better CAN can be had but you need to make yourself clearly 'heard' by service staff assigned to your room or to client services at reception. This could be more but the resort is more like a 3.5-star right now.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort!!!

It was a great place and staff was awesome, especially Sunny(David Talbot)!! Entertainment was excellent, food was good and there was some walking but it was welcomed after all the food we ate and drank!!

Grand Palladium Palace: great resort

Atmosphere is fun . They also had a kids pool there to entertain the children food was awesome had something to eat there all the time and the service was great rooms were very clean my second time there

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Lovely holiday

While transfers and facilities were wonderful, along with excellent staff, there were a few less than stellar aspects. A great variety of food in the buffets, but food was never hot! Very little true Jamaican food to try either, even on Jamaica Day. A la carte restaurants were so, so with the steak and Italian being the best of those we tried. TourGuide Nicola was the best! Biggest disappointment was the entertainment. Sound was so loud couldn't stay even with ear plugs! Dancers were good but a nice band or a dance evening or some other variety would be welcome.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: large resort, too big for my liking.

my main concern was our room smelled musty, somewhat dated, torn window coverings, resort in whole was very impressive, beach very nice, service was good, area in whole seemed safe, few families with children.

Resort was clean, lots to do. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Beautiful beaches. Loved the adult only beach. Disappointed the adult only pool area wasn't bigger. Excursions offered were priced fairly.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Not good for toddlers

We just got back and we had a hard time feeding our kids. Ages 3 and 1- we couldn't take food out of the restaurants and there was no room service. So if my children fell asleep close to the meal times we couldn't feed them properly ! Also the first day we got there a lady from the uk yelled at my 3 year old to "Shut It"! He was excited to be on vacation and was jumping up and down ! The staff did nothing :(

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Ok trip but not awesome !!!

We arrived after a 1hr 20min trip by bus after waiting 45 min for pass(s) who did not show up. The room when we arrived had water on the floor from the rain that came in from the second floor walkway. This took 5 hours to get cleaned up after speaking to 4 staff members. The phone in the room did not work for the whole time we were there which meant we could not call our friends to set up dinner/bar get together. We did not until we asked get our robes and slippers as "Imperial" guests. The food [... read more] in the restaurants was good. It is a very large complex ..we waited for carts to take us places as I have some mobility issues. We got the building we wanted but not the floor(1st). Really need to put handrails on the stairs up and down..this would be an easy fix. The entertainment was almost non existent ..on after 10pm so not much use to us. It is also confusing how to read the board where these are advertised. To reserve at one of the restaurants have to be at the desk in WS at 8am for the next day and she was late the day we went and so missed out from reserving a seating as they were now full. We decided not to bother and went to the ones that you did not need a reservation or the buffet. The problem seem to us to be one of not communicating effectively.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Truly the best resort I have ever stayed at.

I would like to thank Trip Central for once again making our experience the most amazing. To start off, the staff were simply the kindest. Booking our room, we purchased the upgrade only to be completely thrilled to be advised that yet again we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite as well as my parents who traveled with us. They were also very excited as this is probably the last trip like this they will take due to failing health. Another balcony from the living room with two chairs and a small table. The room also included two flat screen tv's. I know that's not what you are supposed to be doing on vacations like this but there has to be a little down time. lol The beaches were beautiful, especially the Sunset Beach. My only complaints about the main beach were that there was not enough beach area and was built up with sand and made it very uncomfortable in the lounge chairs as they were on an angle. You could move them towards the water if you are the kind of person like I am and love laying in the sun. However, my husband and parents like the shade. No complaints about the food either. The best I have had at a resort. Plenty of choice both in the buffet and also at the A la Carts. We even had a t-bone steak at the steak house, unbelievable is all I have to say. I have recommended this resort to all of my friends and hope in the future we return to Grand Playdium Lady Hamilton. Thanks again trip central for making this a most memorable experience.
