TRS Coral: Modern, clean and fabulous!

TRS Coral was a truly amazing holiday for my partner and I. Everything was so modern and fresh- every space sparkling clean. I’ve never been to a resort that has literally ticked every box for my partner and I. Well worth the price!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Excellent Brand new Hotel

Great hotel, this is brand new one year hotel. Not very far from city but very calm and quiet place. amazing food and clean beach and variety of pools. Love the place, would love to go back there again. Very friendly staff and fast service.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Interesting experience

Really nice hotel and excellent location. There were inconsistencies with service quality - some staff was great some was terrible - and the quality of patrons themselves - beach chair cat fights, etc

Oh Cancun The Urban Oasis: Not entirely what we expected

The hotel in real life is alot more grittier then the photos you see online. The furniture has damage marks on it and although the bathrooms were cleaned every day there were rust stained marks on the bathroom floor and the sink had a crack in it. There are no fans in the shower area of the bathroom. . The breakfast that was included with the price of the room was mediocre at best. It was scrambled eggs each morning and sometimes cold. The variety was not there and it appeared that no one was monitoring the breakfast buffet to ensure the utensils used were clean or someone to clean up the messes made by the hotel guests when plating their food. The coffee was awful and no cream was provided. After 3 days we ate breakfast away from the hotel. The pool area is beautiful but too many trees so you only have 2-3 hours at best for suntanning. We specifically booked this hotel because the website stated it was 'adult only'. This was not accurate. We saw children/babies at breakfast and in the pool so not impressed with the deceit. This hotel leans towards being a 'budget' hotel so I would rate it as 2 star at best.The area surrounding the hotel is extremely noisy with lots and lots of traffic and not really pleasing to the eye. The city of Cancun should make improvements to the landscaping in the area as many tourists visit this area. There is no beach anywhere near the hotel so that is a big negative and not what we were told in advance. We had to take an uber or take the bus. There is ongoing tension between the uber drivers and taxi drivers which made it awkward for us as tourists. We enjoyed exploring around the area of our hotel and stumbled across many authentic areas of Cancun which was a bonus.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Place to be in Cancun

Looking for fun, relaxing holidays? Temptation is the place. Play makers are the best, they never let you feel bored of the same place for 7 days. We had lots of fun staying at this resort and would definitely come back again!!

Riu Dunamar: Disappointing, not a 5 star

I am sad to say Riu Dunamar was a big disappointment. The hotel is woefully understaffed and over worked but they aimed to please, here is a quick run through of our family vacation. We are traveling as a family but had our rooms on different wings of the hotel and different floors, this should have been a no brainer as i requested adjoining rooms. The elevator location and the limited number of them is awful, I have back issues and walk with a cane and had specifically asked to be close to an  [... read more]elevator but was over 100 yards away, I guess i should be grateful that i wasn't at the end of the hallway which would of doubled my walk. The hallways to your room are dark and dingy , long wide hallways with only a occasional fire extinguisher for decoration, reminded me of school not a 5 star hotel. The rooms we were given were nothing to write home about, however they were clean and the bed was comfortable, mini bar stocked. This hotel is new (2 years) so everything is in great condition. The buffet is extremely repetitive and after 3 days just down right boring. You do not need a reservation at the 4 restaurants but that doesn't mean your getting in , you will have to line up and hope your one of the lucky ones as they are small and only open 3 hours. None of the restaurants are full service and you will have to go to a mini buffet to get some portion if not all of your meal. They do not restock the buffet or the restaurant buffets in a timely fashion and we experienced that if your not there when it opens you could be out of luck of your favorite dish. There is no coffee bar or room service, premium cocktails are non existent, pool service consists of one guy with a push cart covering 4 pool areas. This hotel would appear to cater to families whose parents neglect and let their children run wild throughout the resort, when we were there the hotel was full, i would say about 1/3 if not more of the guest were children. There is absolutely no quiet or adult areas in this resort except for your room. Our experience was the main buffet was as noisy a school cafeteria, the so called restaurants not much better, very few people dressed for dinner and I believe this sets the tone for the evening. The evening entertainment was varied from boring to ok but after 9:00 your on your own. My entire family had some sort of illness from mild to severe, we did not leave the resort or eat elsewhere which makes me question food quality and hygiene. From my experience here i will have reservations about booking any Riu Hotel in the future, I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed at many 4 star hotels and some 3 1/2 stars in mexico that would put this so call Riu 5 star to shame. So would i return ? No for the following reasons, this hotel is not handicapped friendly, food was 3 star boring, no adult or quiet areas. I have always felt that a 5 star resort should have a wow factor, all you'll find here is a yawn!

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Amazing Resort!

My spouse and two young children came and stayed at All Ritmo for one week and there was absolutely nothing to be disappointed about. The food was fantastic. Our favourite was the night they had a charcoal bbq outside, so yummy! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Brandon and Steven who were in charge of many of the activities were so fun and personable. The water park was so perfect for the kids and the parents loved having the bar and restaurant right close by. There were beach  [... read more]activities also and the staff work hard to keep the beach nice and clean so we enjoyed the perfect white sand for all our pictures. Overall great place! 10 out of 10!

Moon Palace Cancun: Moon Palace Resort - Cancun (Nizuk)

Great resort, very clean, lots of amenities, pleasant and helpful staff. Special shout to Albert and his crew at the buffet, outstanding service all week! Would definitely consider staying again, and would definitely recommend to others.

Paradisus Cancun: Wonderful resort

Service is excellent. Staffs are very nice to talk to. Besides, this resort provides many restaurants offering a variety of delicious cuisines, from Mexican to Asian Fusion. Also abundant nice bars.

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Nice Resort

We liked this resort, just steps to the beach, water was clean after a rainy day but the day still warm and the kids had lots of fun. The waterpark was nice and food option was fair... ( really picky kids) . The only bad thing is people smoking on the beach beside families with children/infants, and most of cigarettes butts end up polluting the beach send and the ocean, not a really ecologically friend for nowadays standard.

Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun: A small, great 5 star resort!

Simple summary... Great, small, quiet adult only resort as a sub resort of the Iberostar Cancun resort. You still have access to all of the amenities of the main resort. Brand new - Opened in Dec 2018. Had room 5112 - spectacular walk around balcony with views of ocean and main resort. No seaweed - lots of small sandbars to swim out to and body surf safely in waves. It was too cool until Xmas Day and then lots of people started using it, socializing more around it, etc.. Soooooo, keep the pool warm! One little gem: in the main resort, second floor, behind the bar, next to the Japanese/Steakouse restaurants, is a Star Prestige (old name for Coral) lounge. Full access to all premium wines, liquor, etc... So when at the main resort, check it out Will be coming back

Occidental Costa Cancun: Great Spot / Excellent Service / Thumbs Up!

We just returned from family vacation to Occidental Costa Cancun. No complaints! Excellent service during the week...we loved our week away at this resort. It is our third trip to Barcelo brand in Mexico...alway been great...we trust it. We all feel we got our monies and suns worth during our stay. Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and beds were great. Our kids 19/16 had their own room but was a bit away so asking to put us side by side...accommodated without issue...again awesome! Th [... read more]e lobby bar and seating great spot to relax before dinner or going for shower. The shows at night were fun to watch even my teens enjoyed dancing with Aladdin. Brandon and the entertainment crew around the pool made it tones of fun, water volley, bingo and even a visit from the grinch! He is a mean one at times. Louis at the buffet greeting us with a smile...buffet with themes each day, great food...even the micro buffet opens around 5am if you have a day trip. The beach is smallish and limited sun (before noon) vs pool all day. Shallow and would great for little kids. We preferred the pool area with chess and ping pong and the teens in pools all day Small downer I suppose is...pay for wifi...is that really it? I guess so but put those devices in safe and soak the sun and family time. These days go by fast!!!

Wyndham Grand Cancun: Amazing beach and resort

The beach was outstanding and the al la cartel restaurants were very good with many choices. The staff were very attentive and there was plenty of available staff. The grounds were well maintained and clean.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Went Beyond Our Expectations

This resort rocked! From the roomy beach to the amazing g room with private balcony and hot tub overlooking the lazy river I. Building #7 we thoroughly enjoyed living like rock stars for our stay. One suggestion would be the Sunwing rep pick up at airport was hard to find . More signage would have been great. Other than that truly a seamless trip!

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!!!

I loved the Panama Jack Resort! It was the best vacation we had so far! Everything was great there, the food, room, beach and the service. We will defiantly try to come back to Panama Jack next year!!!

Moon Palace Cancun: Palace Life

From the moment we stepped into the extravagant lobby we knew we were going to have a phenomenal week. The check in /out process was seamless. The staff go over and beyond what you would typically receive. The food and drinks were 10/10! Our favourite restaurant was Momo. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Grand Oasis Cancun: Attractive Setting

Excellent Beach - White sand and clear, turquoise waters, clean; there are some large waves so being able to swim is important if you go out beyond waist deep, but they are not overly powerful so it is quite safe and fun. Life guards make sure that you stay within safe areas. Food is very good quality and variety with a buffet restaurant and several a la cartes to choose from (reservations not needed except for one). Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Very clean, nice and friendly

We really enjoy our stay. Even though, the weather was sometimes rainy right before winter holidays. There were always what to do for kids and for adults. Transportation to the restaurants was well organized for travellers who did not want to take a walk ( about 10min max). Me and my husband preferred to take advantage of the beautiful paths and my daughter of 20 with her friends always enjoyed the boat or golf cart ride. Food had a large variety and entertainment as well.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort!

Really nice resort for parents with young kids. The water is calm and the beach is nice with no rocks. Great food and room service is available 24/7. All rooms are ocean front. A la carte restaurants do not require reservations and you can go to either one as many times as you want.
