Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Amazing resort!!!!!
The place was beautiful, all the staff was amazing, the room was always cleaned so nicely, food was good, the beach was stunning. All the staff had a smile on there face and was happy to serve you, extra thank you to josé Luis and daykel Headley for making my stay so much better, the drinks were made to perfection
Melia Las Dunas: A favourite of mine
Love Las Dunas! Have been there many times-recent visit a week ago. The white sandy beach is beautiful, there are plenty of lounges all with shade and the bar is just steps away. Both the adult and child pools are gorgeous and have bars with refreshments for all. In my opinion the huge front lobby is the best ever-plenty of seating for everyone, an excellent bar, entertainment throughout the day and evening at different locations. There are several restaurants to choose from as well as a [... read more]
Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Best beaches
Club Amigo is definitely our home away from home. It has the most beautiful beach. The staff are very friendly and truly make you feel at home. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Lots of amenities. And has many off resort restaurants within walking distance. We went on a Jeep Safari adventure and it was definitely the best excursion we have been on in 15 years of going to Club Amigo. The excursion allowed me to drive a Jeep in Cuba, we drove speed boats in the bay, stopped for coffee, rod [... read more]
Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Very nice resort..
We have been to Cuba several times and this is one of the better resorts we have stayed at...The layout of the resort makes it easy to get around, the grounds and pools are well kept. The beach has lots of chairs for everyone and you can walk for miles on the beach. The food was good for Cuba and of course the staff are very helpful and friendly.. The room was clean and well kept with great staff.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Another wonderful holiday!
Just returned from the Paradisus Princesa del Mar in Varadero. Weather was fabulous, best mango daiquiri ever in the Piano Bar and best show cooking ever in the Japanese restaurant. This hotel and staff have such amazing spirit and are very welcoming towards Canadians, the Canada night spread was marvelous. We will definitely be returning to this hotel, and we thank Tammy from TripCentral for helping us organize our trip so well, as she always does.
Brisas Guardalavaca: Beautiful First Time Experience
The Brisas was very welcoming. The Staff were friendly and smiling. Our room was good and tidied every day. The food was okay, but the same every where we ate except the snack bar. I do wish as a VIP we were a little more informed of activities and events we were to enjoy as we missed a few of them.
Starfish Guardalavaca: Better than *** star
Clean, adequate food and friendly staff. A bit lowed music but no complains. One pool is not working and I never enter a pool in Cuba because we have plenty in Canada but missing salty water and beautiful weather. Good value for the price!
Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Amazing atmosphere
All areas of the hotel are modern, clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, it was perfect for our family with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years. The beach is a far walk from the family section but the water was shallow and calm for the kids. It’s great for snorkeling but I recommend water shoes. Chino at the pool bar made special kid friendly drinks for the kids daily, he made their vacation very special.
Gran Muthu Imperial: Not for family
This was my third time visiting Cuba, but unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. The pool was extremely dirty and never cleaned. Compared to my trip three years ago (at a different location), this was very disappointing. The room was in poor condition, towels were never changed, and the staff were very rude and unhelpful, often giving attitude instead of offering assistance. While the food was really good, the customer service overall was terrible. Also, be very careful with your belonging [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Amazing trip
Great beach and the staff is awesome. The room need better mattress. And more services at the table in the buffets. Sometime when we were at sit no one ask us for a Coffee or water and we wait too long for just a pop.
Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Beautiful Resort!
A Very Nice Clean Resort. Very Friendly Attentive Staff. There was always someone asking you if you needed more water/drink; taking your plates. Lots of different activities/entertainment for adults and children during the day. Always something good to eat. The grounds were well kept and decorative. It was great to be able to get a later check out time as our pick for the airport was 5:30pm. The only thing mentioned from our group was that the coffee was not as good as other resorts.
Resonance Musique Varadero: Great girls trip
We stayed here for 2 weeks in April and we had a great trip.Staff were great and weather was amazing.Blu side is a little quieter if you wanna relax.Always something going on at pool on Musique side.Beach was absolutely beautiful.Staff work so hard and always had a smile on their faces.Only thing I would suggest is more lightening on walk ways.
Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Beautiful resort
Love this resort. If I have one complaint it is with Sun wing and their flight times. If people are not leaving the resort till 5 pm then they should automatically get a late check out. People leaving at 12 noon don’t need to check out at 3 pm
Paradisus Rio De Oro: 6th Time...Home Away From Home
This was our 6th trip to Rio de Oro, the first in 2016 and the last was July 2025 and it will always be our choice for our vacation. Why would we go anywhere else. We were greeted by many of the staff, some of which have become great friends who welcome us every time with smiles. The resort itself is amazing but the staff are what makes our stays there the best. Check-in was smooth and easy and our room always kept clean and supplied with clean towels daily. The food at the resort is still gr [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Love this Resort
am a repeat guest at this resort. I have stayed as both standard and premium. My preference is premium. I have made friends who are now my family. The rooms are spacious and clean, thank you Maricela and Regal!! The food is good, no complaints. There are many choices such as pizza, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, butter, chicken pork, pasta, etc...Thank you Katia and crew at the Coral. With a variety of drinks always being refreshed by a wonderful team of bartend [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Great week again
Our 2nd time back to this resort, Will definitely be back next year for 2weeks. Amazing staff made us feel like family. Great food, especially at the new Italian restaurant. Loved the Churros wagon and beautiful beach and lovely pool area. Entertainment was amazing! Loved the saxophone, flutist and live bands playing Cuban music from morning to night.
Melia Cayo Coco: Nice Resort
Overall a nice resort for Cuba and not overcrowded due to its size. Most staff were good but some not as friendly as we have experienced in the past. Rooms were smaller but generally good for Cuba. The accommodations and service not as good as Royalton (Sandals) we stayed a few times but it may have changed from years ago.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Worst resort ever!
Only positive is service was good and rooms were clean The food was horrible and there were major shortages. No it’s not a Cuba thing as other resorts had plenty of food. No bread or flour products for 4 days. No rice for 2 days. No juice, yogurt etc etc. rooms are dated to the point of the bathroom door rotting off 1/4 of the way up. Mold in tub area. Drinks were limited and no pina colada’s. Like really?????
Hotel Playa Coco: A diamond in the ruff
This hotel is a diamond in the ruff. All amenities, great food and copious quantity of it for all different tastes, an amazing beach, extremely clean pools, rooms, and shared areas such as snack bar or bathroom. Snack bar provides hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, chicken wings and at times poutines. A REAL diamond in the ruff. Wish we didn’t have to leave; can’t wait to go back
