Grand Palladium Vallarta: Lovely resort with all amenitites on Site

The hotel is lwell maintained and clean - rooms are comfortable with large bathroom. A/C would not go below 22 degrees so it was of no use. We had upgraded to a Deluxe Oceanview Room- 3rd floor - but balcony is small (only one chair fits) Food in the buffet was very good, lots of selection for everyone. A La Carte meals do not require a pre-reservation, but you can still have a 1+ hour wait to get in. Mexican has outdoor patio and is lovely. Grounds are well maintained. People and all staff very friendly - always with a smile - Front Desk, Antonio was superb to help us and allow for extended check out. The hotel is at the top of Punta de Mita and about 1/2 hour from PV. We went one day into Bucerias (15 min by cab $18 USD) to the Flea Market. The best part of the beach is the sea pool to the right of the standard beach - great swimming with no undertow and good for the kids. We had 2 days of rain, but still a great time and the resort does not disappoint. Be advised the resort is on a cliff, there is lots of walking and stairs to the beach. The 5 hotel complexes are three stories and no elevator. It's fine if you are capable to walk ( I did see poeple in wheelchairs) but if you are older and have difficulty with stairs - you will be okay if you stay at the pools since they are all above the beach level.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Not a bad Vacation

If the Resort was a bit smaller it be Better... Only if we could Go from Lobby to Lobby without using a Shuttle it be much better....waiting for the Shuttle to come is way too long . The Food at The Buffet must Improve a lot more....The Pool is a bit outdated on our last Day there we waited half an Hour for the Shuttle they never show up ? We were so late to Get onto our Airport Transportation Bus ...... Overall we would never go back very disappointed:(

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Huge Resort

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Resort from Jan 26-feb 2 We did enjoy our stay for the most part, the room was clean and the food was really good however the drinks seemed to be all the same coconutty flavour it got a bit boring after a while so i just drank mojitos and my husband and friends beer . The language barrier was verry apparent as we asked for our fridge to be repaired 3x finally they came the 3rd day so nothing was cold for 3 days oh well as well the maid did not understand when we  [... read more]asked for extra towels so would be nice if these people understood a little english ! The best person we dealt with was a customer service rep named Cely she was wonderful and spoke very good english ! We had friends staying at the Riu Bambu and she got us connected to talk to them almost every nite to arrange to get together with them she was wonderful and went over the top to help us ! We walked almost all the time which was good but sometimes we would have liked to get a tram but they were not all that plentiful again, not a big problem . In the buffet we always had to ask a few times for silverware and coffee again the language barrier was a problem. The beach was wonderful lots of seaweed as the ocean was rough ! they cleaned it everyday didn't get bothered too much to buy things on the beach. the pools were nice sometimes hard to find a seat but we managed. We would like to go back but stay in the nicer suites with the swim up rooms overall a very nice place ! We paid alot for this resort however it is the prime time would probably not go at this time again .

Grand Palladium Palace: Great break to the winter

Beautiful grounds, beach, food and drinks. Rooms were a little dated and public bathrooms on the resorts were not kept clean. The beaches did have excess seaweed on them but they tried their best to clean it up daily. Never had trouble getting 6 chairs on the beach in the afternoon, but more difficult around the pools in the afternoon. We didn't care though because the beach was much cooler and beautiful. The buffets were also good especially in the evening. Also had great service! Sometimes there will be a long wait to get in since you can't make reservations unless you are in the luxury section.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort!

This resort is huge! Lots of different areas to be, if you want a change of scenery without leaving the resort. 3 beaches and multiple pools! Food is amazing! All a la cartes were delicious and buffets were good as well. People in Jamaica are so laid back and fun! Will definately be returning! Thanks for such a great experience!

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: very nice resort

Very large resort, if you like walking, it`s the place to go. Very very clean, the food excellent either at the buffet or a la carte, the lobby it`s the place too hang around after dinner, good music and confortable chairs. I prefer the pool over the beach (too much sea weed).

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Awesome resort!

Beautiful and very clean resort. Lots of activities to do on site, delicious food at buffets and a la carte restauraunts... our favorite being the Bamboo. Huge refreshing pools with lots of chairs to choose from. Only downfall are the weeds on the beaches... but doesn't seem to bother others since they are packed with sunkissers.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing trip

Thanks tripcentral for this wonderful trip. Amazing hotel, I'd definetly recommend it. Hotel is isolated from the village, and taxi to Montego Bay costs 100$ us, everything is expensive in the hotel (a pack of Marlboro is 20$ canadian) and a bag of chips (medium size) around 10$.

What can I say. All the GREAT Food and Drinks you can take... the only tip is that the Restaurants for supper, their reservation system is first come first serve. The Resort is very well kept. Beaches are magnificent. Would go back in a heart beat

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Love the Palladium

I was in villa 14 and the room was beautiful. Large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Very soundproof did not hear a thing unless people were in hallway. Was on my own and I felt sAfe knowing security was always walking the grounds. The grounds was beautiful and beach absolutely gorgeous. Staff was always courteous and accommodating. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Just average

Most important get the imperial club. you do not get reservations without it and the restaurants are good. Buffet was very poor. Food was often cold. The beaches are great if you snorkel but they are small.Check in was very fast and the honeymoon bungalows are beautiful. Staff was very good.

My husband and I just got back from an amazing week at the GP Lady Hamilton. We were hard pressed to find fault. The staff are are so friendly and want to make your stay as great as possible. If you needed anything, you just had to ask. The food was plentiful and tasty. We liked the steakhouse the best, but did try the Italian, the buffets and the Sports Bar. Seeing the dolphins was a bonus. We thought that Jamaica was a beautiful island and will definitely visit again in a few years.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Great stay

Hotel was very clean. Food overall pretty good and dealt well with a dietary concerns. Japanese and Italian à la cartes were not good: slow service and below average food. BBQ, Brazilian and Mexican were great. Beautiful beach and good shore snorkeling. Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable. Second visit to hotel. Just as happy second go round.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing resort

Stayed at this resort with my boyfriend and 2 other couples. Had an AMAZING time. Would definitely go back and highly recommend it. Rooms- very clean, very nice, large rooms. Nicest rooms at any resort I have stayed at. Food- tons of options between buffets at all resorts and a la cartes were GREAT! I believe there were 5 buffets and 9 or 10 a la cartes which did not require reservations and wait times were max 1 hour at dinner time but later no waits. Lots of entertainment available (yoga, dancing, contests etc.) Small kids waterpark beside the Kentenah/Colonial large pool. Other smaller pools as well. Grounds- the environment is amazing! The walkways to all of the rooms are surrounded by trees and jungle. Paved and covered overhead though which is great. The nature at this resort is awesome; there is an area blocked off strictly for flamingos, there is a large caged off area with crocodiles, and many iguanas and lemars wandering around (I am afraid of creatures, but did not feel uncomfortable at all, it was so cool!) Tours- Segwey tour at the resort was soooo fun! I originally said no to it but my friends convinced me and now I want to buy one haha! Jungle Maya excursion in town was amazing as well. Repelled into a cave into water, zip lined through the jungle and into water, snorkelled through a cave - so much fun.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Fantastic location

This resort has an amazing location. The beach and pools are excellent and no one is bothered by vendors. The bars do not skimp on the alocohol content of their drinks and the service at the bars is good and the lobby bar has a very upbeat atmostphere in the evening with music and shows. The food was average but lots of availability in the buffets. My only complaint is that the restaurants do not take reservations and hold tables for people staying at the Royal Suites (whether they show up or no [... read more]t) so our experience was a wait of 2 1/2 hours for a table. I would go back to this resort again.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Amazing resort!!!

We stayed at Grand Palladium White Sand 7 times, and not cause for disappointment. The grounds are well kept, the staff are all friendly, the facilities are well maintained. The buffets were awesome as well, variety of choices. Beach is excellent, a lot of shade. We will come again :)

Grand Palladium Jamaica: It's number one in our heart

The grounds were very well kept. If you didn't want to walk there was always transportation. The la cartes restaurant s were the best we would rank Bubba's grill number one. But the food and service at the others would be ranked up there also. We have traveled in the DR, Cuba and Mexico the food and service was far superior at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. The beaches aren't for the die hard beach lovers that would be the down side.
