Riu Santa Fe: Love Cabo!!

The resort is great... simple , clean, friendly...staff is awesome! Taco cart in the courtyard is amazing (better 2 years ago when they were serving soup with it) rooms are tidy and clean! Big kudos to the people of Mexico who cleaned it up and are still cleaning after the huge flood that probably took(according to locals) hundreds of lives! Viva Mexico!

El Cid Hotel Marina Beach: No complaints, beautiful resort!

We were booked into the Marina El Cid in january 2018. Upon arrival we were taken next door to the sister resort Ventus which is brand new. Our room was in building 25, room 314. It was very nice & had a fabulous view of the pools & grounds as well as the ocean! We had run of both hotels so there were lots of options for dining & pools. Beach was lovely, a bit rocky but fine. The grounds are lovely to stroll but if you need a ride there are plenty of staff offering rides in golf carts. Puerto Morelos is very close & is a typical Mexican town. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort to couples or families.

Secrets Huatulco: Fantastic views

The resort was very clean and well maintained. The views were amazing from all parts of the resort. Trying to get a pool chair was a challenge. The staff were friendly and helpful. We purchased the privilege club and it was a waste of money, We saw absolutely no advantages. The weather was perfect everyday.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: 2 perspectives

4th time to this resort. Waited for sale price. The resort is very consistently good. Stayed at Sian Ka'an adults only and the staff there bend over backwards to please more so than other 3 locations. A la carte restaurants are well worth going to. Tenderloin filet was a surprise 10/10. Ground floor room was damp and musty. Was moved to higher room. For most resort goers, this resort has it all. Staff service was excellent and instructed to please the guests in all circumstances. They c [... read more]ouldn't be trained better in this regard.

Las Hadas by Brisas: resort

the grounds and pool area of the resort were stunning. the inside of the rooms were tired. we had mold and mildew in our room. our room towels were more worn out than the beach towels. Room could have been cleaner. asked for a queen or king bed and received 2 small beds. asked about changing and the customer service desk said we had to pay for upgrade yet it was stated when we booked for "deluxe" room. Sunwing rep told me that a lot of people had same complaints and the resort was trying  [... read more]to make a few extra dollars that is not acceptable. sunwing said they filed a complaint already about this. Staff was extremely friendly. would definitely go back. What a stunning view from our room!! one of the best views ever of all of our travelling.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Fabulous time

Just came back from The Azul Ixtapa Grand resort in Mexico. The word GRAND describes it well. From the moment we arrived on January 18 until we left January 25th we were treated like royalty. Our room 1515 was right in the centre and the view was amazing. Rooms are beautiful and HUGE. Our “maid”was Luis and he kept it spotless, along with daily towel decor. All res [... read more]taurants were amazing, our favourite was the Asian and our least favourite was The Oyster. Buffet lacked choice but we never went hungry, soup was amazing. Bar staff always very pleasant and our waiters at the pool lovely. Adult pool lovely and quiet. Beach very dissapointing but two minutes to left of resort there was a nice one. Be sure to visit YELLOW tshirt massage ladies on the beach to your right, amazing is my only word. Where else can you get a head to toe hour long massage for approximately 16.00 dollars (200 pesos) bus into town runs regularly and the cost is 12 pesos. Lots and lots of stairs, however there are elevators to take you to all levels, only you have to change, just like a bus LOL. All in all very pleased with this resort and would definitely recommend it.

Royal Solaris Cancun: Great Value Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Solaris. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel and resort very clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and we highly recommend the upgrade to the ocean view with a jacuzzi balcony. One of the highlites of our trip was morning coffee staring at the view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beach is breathtaking. The food was good but not great. Never had a problem finding something to eat, but nothing truly memorable. The shows and ente [... read more]rtainment staff are good for a value resort. The location is great as it is a short 20 minute walk to Cabo San Jose. We would recommend the resort for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on a budget.

Costa Club Punta Arena: Satisfactory

we have been to PV around 30 times . At this resort app. 5 times . We book at this resort if price is attractive compared to our favourite resorts that are 1-2 stars higher ,and their price is much higher when booking. Rooms are clean,staff friendly and accomidating.Food is not as good as other places we stay,but we pay a lot less. Jan/2018..old resort in front of Costa being demolished with very noisy jackhammers going all day .Excellent location to walk downtown.

Le Reve Hotel and Spa: Great hotel!!

We just returned from a week at Le Reve Hotel and Spa. We were extremely pleased with everything about this spot; it was very small, quiet, staff were amazing and the food was beyond excellent...everything we were hoping for. We especially didn't miss line ups in buffet restaurants, racing for palapas and chairs every morning, having to walk ten minutes to get to the beach, or crowds...typical with most southern destinations. This hotel is a perfect spot to sit back and relax. If you are look [... read more]ing for hustle and bustle, 24 hr activities and lots to do...this is not for you. The beach was great for walking and the Playa del Carmen area provides for many sight-seeing opportunities. I'd highly recommend this quaint hotel.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Nice but lacking

The resort itself was nice, the staff always wonderful and helpful. I did not like the slightly high pressure sales pitch to join the royal club which came as a surprise! I missed a nice long beach as well. The food was great.

Costa Club Punta Arena: Great stay

We had the great opportunity to be staying at Costa Club Punta arena for 1 week. It is a clean comfortable small hotel with very caring staff, making it feel very safe and a home like atmosphere. The location in regards to getting down town to the malecon is great and very close to the marina as well. Catching taxis and local buses is very easy. Rooms were very large and clean, we were in the older section and they were just fine. This is a budget hotel so remember that you get what you pay for  [... read more], but for the price I think you get more than you paid for. This is not a luxury hotel , but a comfortable clean small hotel. The food at the buffet is catered to Mexican tastes, but then again ....I guess you are in Mexico. You should never go hungry and you can always go out for dinner. Currently there is a lot of noise from the tearing down of an old building in front of the hotel, this is not the hotels fault.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: this resort is outstanding

the entire facility was flawlessly clean and the people working there wait on you hand and foot all of the food was excellent as well as the premium liquor, the workers at the pool and the beach set up your seating area

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Lovely resort and wonderful staff.

The kindest and warmest staff who could not do enough for you and always pleasant from front counter to towel exchange. The room was cleaned daily and always a lovely creation on the beds. This was our second year and this time our son and wife and two girls were next door and in the center building, We had a balcony which my husband and I like and theirs was identical without balcony. The beds were a little hard. We had and amazing time and you can always count on hot weather, very warm eveni [... read more]ngs. Our favourite al a carte was the Costa Azul restaurant. We used our 3 specialty dinners there. The Oyster Bar was lovely also and you need to book ahead and you can go there every day for lunch. Second time in and not once did we ever feel unwell. The water is purified on site. I was treated to the spa next door at the Grand and it was sooooooo wonderful, a must. Best massage I have ever had never mind the spa features. Quiet and Elegant. The food at the buffet was good, but would have to say the desserts could have been a little more exciting and more variety. Over all a wonderful place and many return visitors.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Azul Ixtapa Resort

This resort was overall excellent. Starting with the reception, the staff made quick work of getting us to the reception desk off the bus very quickly and with a big smile. We we're offered a cold drink as soon as we stepped off the bus The Porter's had our bags waiting to go to the room once we we checked in by the friendly front desk staff. We we're in our room in under 10 minutes. The room was spacious and very clean, which the house keeping staff kept up all week. The resort is situated very close to the water and along Sandy Beach great for walks anytime of the day. 2 large pool areas that never left us wanting for a deck chair either in the sun or the shade, lots of umbrellas. Pool staff was always available to get you a drink or you can get it from the multiple pool bars yourself. The daytime pool buffet was very go and easy to get to. Alla cart restaurants were good and we had no issues getting reservations. Buffets we're ok, not the best food we have had but there was always something good to eat. If you have kids, the resort has lots to keep them busy. Overall we had a great time here and would definitely recommend this facility.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Great clean and location hotel. Staff is wonderful...

Every thing is great. Two things need to be solved: 1-Smoking free every where in resort, including at the beach. 2-The exhaust of washrooms spread the bad smell to the walking paths. It should direct to some where else.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Excellent, courteous and friendly service

The hotel was clean, well maintained, the food was very good and the service reallu good overall. The only problem was with the room which was smelling moldy and humid. I did not ask for a room change because I had already asked for one as the first room that was assigned was located on the 4th floor with no elevators and my aunt of 70 y-old with whom I was travelling could not walk that many stairs. The hotel personnel tried to fix the problem to no avail. Also the Jacuzzi was not working [... read more]. The water in it was old.

Princess Mundo Imperial: This will now be our annual resort to visit

Very safe, do not be afraid to go here. This resort was extemely clean and had the best food of any place I have ever been. Drinks were great too. The staff and service was exceptional. This would be a great place for people with little kids. I don't think teenagers would have enough to do, though. Long beach to walk with the most amazing feeling sand (can't really describe it as I have never felt anything like it. I have been to Huatulco, Puerto Vallarta, Playa Del Carmen, the Mayan, Cub [... read more]a, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Roatan, Vietnam, the Philippines, and this beach was my favourite). The undertow is very strong so be careful, but saying that, the waves were so fun and the lifeguards are quick to come get anyone in trouble. Drinks are served to other guests after 11:00, but not Sunwing guests without you paying. Our oceanview room was very large and well layed out and the view was awesome. The rooms are really not that bad, but could be updated, I've seen worse in newer hotels than this, but there is no fridge, but the front desk put our leftovers in their fridge twice for us. I was told that this is the oldest hotel in Acapulco. My only complaint was the size of the beds. We asked, but did not get, a king size bed, and that's ok, except I would have expected 2 queens. The beds were small doubles. We had the same kind on our trip in China recently. We are not big people, but even we found it too cramped and chose to sleep separately most of the time :(. But we LOVED this place anyway and have decided, that for the money and quality of this hotel and the location, that this will be our anuual spot. This is saying alot! We have never been to the same location in the world twice as we like to see other places. Because of the price for this place it now allows us to visit a couple places a year. Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills: Best of both worlds

Beautiful resort in the mountain/jungle with a shuttle to a nice beach area. Great place if you enjoy nature, lots of walking, beautiful water features and areas and a wonderful selection of food considering the size of the resort. Would go back again

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Perfect

Hotel was still one of the best I’ve ever stayed at! Right across from the golf coarse. Just a five minute ride to the exclusive beach area. The staff are the best and the food is top notch. They have 24 hour room service along with butler service. The spa is very nice. Everything is nice and close in this compact hotel.

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

This resort offers great food with 9 restaurants to choose from and it has lots of very friendly staff to make your stay memorable. The rooms are huge and come with all the comforts you would expect and it offers a great beach.
