Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Breathless left me speechless

Breathless was equal parts good and bad. The good: very clean everywhere, restaurants are better than most all-inclusives. The bad: no water sports, nightly entertainment is non-existent despite what they say, staff will rudely ask for tips (even though all gratuities are meant to be included, as per Breathless advertising).

Grand Oasis Cancun: Wouldn't go again

The bad: Check-in took wayyyy too long, and the front desk staff were largely unhelpful. No 24 hour bars, last ones close at 1am. The "health bar" was awful, they just mixed concentrates in gross jugs- no fresh fruit. No free wifi, and you have to pay for a lock for the safe. Had a leak in the ceiling in our room, but they did fix it fairly quickly. The good: The restaurants were great, as well as the coffee shops (included). Great beach. Riu Palace Pacifico: Amazing Resort!

First time travelling and it was amazing. The place was spotless. The food was fantastic. With several different types to choose from for even the pickiest of eaters The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was clean and not crowded even with so many people there. The beach was wonderful. Staff worked hard to keep it well maintained. Always someone available to assit if need be. They had a great crew to entertain the guests both at the pool and in the hotel.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Great 4Star Hotel

We are a middle aged well traveled couple. We have stayed in mainly 5 star all inclusives but decided to save a few dollars and stay at a 4 star. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The beach is great here and even though many reviewers complained about the lack of shade we never had a problem finding a chair in the shade at any time of the day. That being said we do not sit around the pool as we prefer to sit on the beach. The only thing that I can think to complai [... read more]n about is that the windows do not open. I don't mind not having a balcony as we spend very little time in our room however I do not like sleeping with the cold air conditioning on and it would be nice to hear the waves at night. Also would appreciate internet access in the Lobby. I rather like not having internet in the room while on vacation but it would be nice to be able to check in every few days and so Lobby internet would be appreciated. The Ocean was so rough when we were there that it made it impossible to have a nice swim but if you like to play in the waves this is the beach for you. One day the water was so rough that it was washing in dozens of yellow bellied water snakes, Yikes! It was also amazing to see a nest of turtles hatch right on our resort beach . The staff at the hotel was great and I would especially like to thank Eder Huescq at the front desk as he went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our stay. I really don't understand the complaints about check in as ours and our friends who arrived days after us both had a quick and cheerful check in with Eder. We did not upgrade to Royal level and really i can not see that it would be worth an extra $100 a day to do so. Although the nights get chilly and it would have been nice to be able to use the hot tub in the Royal level pool.

Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills: Mediocre at best

They say that this is a 4+ Star resort but I am only able to reach a 2.5-3 Star rating at best. Food was on and off mostly off, We were without towels for 3 days in a row, always had to call and get delivered. Big language barrier with the staff. Rooms were so so. The scenery of the resort was nice but be prepared for HILLS HILLS and MORE HILLS. There is a lot of walking to be done and shuttles are few and far between unless you want to wait. The pool was nice and we stayed in the adults section most of the time. The beach associated with the resort was not nice at all. Rocky to say the least I would steer clear of here unless you are going to take your chance. It is not worth the monies spent on this vacation nor is it a 4+ Star

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Paradise in Mexico 🇲🇽

The Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an was outstanding. Our Air Transat guides from Manuela who helped book the place to Evelyn and Antonia - all three were very informative and helpful in arranging our stay in the Mayan Riviera. Our room and the gardens were immaculate! Jorge gave us directions to the other beautiful resorts on the beach and topped it by having Ivan our butler decoratie our bed with rose petals and a bottle of wine! Could not have asked for better service- from the greeter at the buf [... read more]fet, to servers like Luis and Faustino and the variety of food made by such a creative chef was topped by the nightly entertainment! We would definitely come back but next time for 2 weeks! Great holiday to beautiful area of the world!

Allegro Cozumel: Good resort

Terrible food at buffet! I was concerned before booking after what I had read,but was reassured by Trip Central that one of their workers went and it was good?? The entertainment wasn’t good either!! But the resort was beautiful and staff very good.

El Dorado Casitas Royale: They spoiled us

This is my third time to the Mayan Riviera & the second time to the Eldorado Royale. This time we stayed in a swim up Casita. The room was huge & had an indoor & outdoor shower. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are very attentive. The food is excellent and the spa is very relaxing.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Great Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Brisa in Huatulco. The Hotel is clean the staff are pleasant and the food is good. There are plenty of activities to get involved in. We had a good holiday and would go back again.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Las Brisas Huatulco, Mexico

This is or second time at Las Brisas and we will most likely go back again. What a beautiful location, gorgeous beaches and a wonderful staff. Food in the main dining room was good, plenty of choices and varied but the food at the 4 "a la carte" restaurants was simply awful. Something has to change there. The rooms were comfortable enough, basic but good enough.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Superb resort

Have made numerous trips to Mexico and this resort is now one of my favourite.super location,beautiful grounds and wonderful service .Rooms are clean and spacious with views of the Caribbean if in the higher floors with a view of the cruise ships arrivals and departures. Only the buffets were a bit of a disappointment but we were able to satisfy our appetites .Specialty restaurants were very nice . Smaller beach area but 3 pools. Overall a great resort that we would recommend

Las Flores Beach Resort: Nicely renovated rooms

We stayed here 6 years ago and since then the rooms were renovated and are quite nice. Beautiful views from balcony Pool was way too cold to use, no free internet in rooms but in lobby free turtle slow internet.

Riu Flamingos: Simply Awesome

The star rating for this hotel is perfect or perhaps a bit below. The grounds and rooms are very nice and clean. Food is plenty and in good selection. Buffet service during the meals is ok but varies, for those who wish to have a server on stand by I advise to book a hotel for 1K more. The beach is awesome with soft sand, warm water and waves for everyone to have fun. Note to future guests when going back to your room after 10:00PM please be considered of other guests and keep your voices  [... read more]down. No 3ft thick walls can keep them away at times. If your pick up time is after check out it is possible to leave luggage in a room with no security that anyone have access to. Found that odd, thankfully nothing happened. Overall awesome stay and recommend.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: The Best Resort!

The resort is very large and amazing! Service was great and food was exceptional! Staff are great and I would definitely return to The Grand again. Only disappointment were the water slides that were closed. This was one of the main reasons we came to the resort.

Riu Dunamar: Riu Dunamar

Very clean and simplistic. Hard working staff. Spacious rooms. Good food with lots of variety. Enjoyed the different food stations, salad bar, appetizer bar, Mediterranean,pasta, Mexican, meat fish and desert. Each had an abundance of choices.

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: BARCELO Gran Faro Los Cabos - Incredible Resort!

We LOVED the Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos resort!!! The grounds were beautifully kept and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and offered a wonderful, wide variety within the 2 buffet restaurants and 3 others that were on-sight. There were 3 pools, plus 2 hot tubs and a small playground area with a pool for children. WE loved the infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous white sand beach and ocean. The beach, which was lined with palm trees, was cl [... read more]ean and groomed every evening. The resort itself was quiet, relaxing and was not overcrowded. The only small complaint we have is that the poolside music was a little too loud, but was not as load on the beach. We chose to go on one off sight adventure with Cabo Adventures and it proved to be a very fun and perfect day! We received excellent value for the price which included transportation, sailing on a beautiful, super clean catamaran, snorkeling, paddle boarding, appetizer, lunch and whale watching! It was fantastic!! All shuttles ran on time and offered comfortable transportation. We never felt unsafe even when walking into town. I know that I speak for our entire group of eight people when I say that we ALL had an amazing vacation at this resort, would return without hesitation and would recommend it to family and friends. I have already recommended it to several clients. Thank you Trip Central, Shauna Langille (travel agent), Westjet Vacations and all at the Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos! My 60th birthday was the BEST EVER!!!!!

Riu Vallarta: Wonderful resort!

The hotel and its surroundings were above expectation. The room was specious, very clean, the food was amazing, so many choices, so many delicatessens, the service was very friendly everywhere. We enjoyed long walks on the beach, if not big waves in the ocean, I loved to swim. Every day was sunny and warm - what else to wish?

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Very good

Spotless mind very clean They need better animation The beach every morning is ocupat whit the local trying to celling everything never stop and bring horses for rent and after so many our the horses sheet The beach can be better is nice to seeing but no usually.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: A quick get a way

This hotel is quite a drive North of Puerto Vallarta, just so you are aware. The hotel grounds, buildings, pools and rooms were very clean! The beach was wonderful. It is a fairly big resort at the end of the town Rincón de Guayabitos, which a lovely Mexican town for wandering, shopping and eating local authentic Mexican Street food. The beach is amazing for walking and end to end is Just short of 3k. Breakfast and lunches in the buffet were great, at times dinner was questionable. The snack ba [... read more]r had pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs and all the fixings as well as a few other items.There is one building on the hillside that boasts adult only pool, it may be quieter at this location but there are many stairs and quite a walk to the buffet and beach. We would definitely return to this resort if the price is right.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Positive Vacation

We enjoyed a week at an excellent all-inclusive Resort on one of the greatest beaches in the world. We received the expected Riu Palace excellent accommodation and service for which a Riu Palace is noted. The grounds were immaculately kept. The restaurants give superb service with a quality menu. We had one minor problem in the "Steak" restuarant. The New York steaks were 50% fat / gristle, and the residual meat was tough. On second seating, the Filet was enjoyable and the Lobster suburb.  [... read more] Two suggestions for improvement. (1) With only 2 public restrooms on site (one in lobby and one by pool), more are needed. (2) pool seating is self-reserved and not monitored. 75-minutes before sun-up, all best sunny-location seats are "reserved", even though they may be unoccupied for much of the best part of the day. Overall, we travel a lot and are Riu Gold-Cardholders, and feel we got very fair value for our vacation $
