Planet Hollywood Resort: Great hotel and great value
Great hotel, for a great value. Planet Hollywood was a great location in the centre of the strip. Shops and restaurants were a great selection. Rooms were very nice and clean. The miracle mall was huge and offered a variety of stores.
The Venetian Resort: un expected fees
hotel was great, trip was great but after paying for the flight and hotel together i didnt realise there was almost $400 in hotel fees to pay for at check in, they should be included in the purchase price so you can budget better and not lose US$400 as soon as your vacation starts , took away from a couple things we had budgeted to do while in vegas
The STRAT Hotel Casino and Tower: Stratosphere
Hotel was good easy to get around and rooms were nice and clean, great blackout curtains for the rough mornings. Nice bathrooms too. Friendly staff! It is a little out of the way (but not as bad as what some people made it seem) so take a bag with a sweater etc for night time to avoid losing time to go back and forth. Although i was skeptical reading reviews about walking to the strip from the hotel IT WAS TOTALLY FINE! Close to bus-stops and a short distance to fremont. My only complaint would [... read more]
The STRAT Hotel Casino and Tower: Good Value for the Money
The renovations are nice, but there is still an "old" feeling to the complex. It's a bit far from the main strip so a taxi ride is needed especially late at night if you head to the main strip. The access to the tower costs, even for guests which is very disappointing. They should give 1 complimentary pass to see the view for hotel guests.
MGM Grand: Vegas trip
The hotel was pretty good, lots of options for entertainment. Only issue was we were on the first floor and there was construction right outside our window until midnight one night. They were good and gave us our resort fees for free. I would stay there again for sure
Disney All Star Sports: Disney Value Resort - Simple and Clean
Hotel decor is outdated, but room was clean and staff was friendly. Nice pool, laundry facility on premises and access to complimentary transportation to all Disney parks. Resort food is expensive and not the greatest, but we only ate breakfast there most days. Finally, it's a great place to lay your head at the end of the day and save yourself some money for the other resorts are very expensive.
Golden Nugget: Vegas Baby
Had a great time at the Golden Nugget and Fremont Street. The only issue was at check in. We spent an hour in the lineup only to be told our room wasn’t ready yet. We had a hockey game to attend and had to shower and change on a friends room. We did t get checked into our room until almost midnight. Overall the Golden Nugget was a great experience.
Park MGM Las Vegas: Great location for Hockey game
The new rooms were nice, still needed lots of casino work. But for going to the Knights game it was perfect. Lots of bars and restaurants close to Hotel and rink, pre game was fun. No pool yet but didn't want it.
MGM Grand: Las Vegas is expensive
I only tried one restaurant, Wolfgang Puck, and the meal size salad was over-priced and too small. I wish they had coffee machines in the rooms, because two black Starbucks brewed coffees every morning cost $12 a day!
Ilikai Hotel and Luxury Suites: Average Resort
Overall Average Likes: Our room was very spacious and included a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen was amazing for making breakfasts and snacks. The hotel includes facilities to rent cars, book tours, rent dvds and video games, a coffee shop, a restaraunt (not that good), and a convenience store with basic necessities, some food items and souvenirs. The beach is accessible within a 5 minute walk. Dislikes: Booking tours at the hotel was a disaster. Each booking agent that we consulted [... read more]
Kaanapali Beach Hotel: THE resort for a perfect family vacation
Spent a week at this resort. Our first time in Maui. Loved loved loved it! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our whole family enjoyed the on resort classes (lei making, hula classes etc). The evening hula shows were also wonderful and a much better choice for our young kids vs an expensive luau. The kids loved the pool, played checkers every day and swam from the beach out front. We found the 10 minute walk to Whalers Village perfect for breakfasts and dinners. Nothing but great thi [... read more]
Circus Circus: Worst resort in Las Vegas
No swimming pool, we had to pay extra for everything, they made us pay $91 for the services we didn’t use at all. We chose it thinking kids friendly, not at all. Worst experience at all. Hotel is very old, everybody is rude! Visited almost every hotel at the strip, way nicer and around same price range! Will never go back to circus circus!
Coco Key Hotel & Water Park: Some good some not so good
This is my third stay at this hotel. When we checked in we found that we were booked into a ground floor room but they changed that to the tower when we asked. The front desk lady was also very helpful in other ways during the week. In the room we had a problem with the toilet not flushing properly. After 2 unsuccessful repair attempts over two days we asked for another room. Both rooms looked tired and in need of a bit of a refresher but they were clean and the room staff did good job on a dai [... read more]
Aria Resort: Amazing resort
It’s a beautiful property with world class restaurants and bars and very spacious casino. Desirable place to stay. Location is very convenient and centrally located. I will definitely come back back here in future. Really enjoyed our stay.
Caesars Palace: Totally awesome
Was an awesome hotel, great service and room was very comfortable. A lot to do on site, great food and restaurants. My wife and I really liked the location and also the mall and stores within the hotel. So enjoyable that we are already planning another trip to same location.
Park MGM Las Vegas: Great stay
Great hotel for the price. Went during winter and the accommodation was great and service too. Did not try food as I think it's a bit overpriced and did not try the pool. Got the strip view as I requested and that was good.
Hyatt Regency Orlando: Lovely hotel
The staff (from front desk to maids) were courteous and helpful. Clean and well kept grounds. Beautiful pools and hot tubs. Sandy area near the kiddy pool was a favourite spot for my young daughter.
Excalibur: Okay resort
The service and the room were okay. We were not happy with the food choices. Mostly fast food. Dick's was the only one we ate at.We ate most meals at NYNY.We went to Tournament of kings and the food was overcooked. Also our server refused to bring us drinks. Other people had drinks. If there was self serve we were not told. Also one day we were out all day and came back to a dirty room.
The Saguaro Palm Springs: Palm Springs Pulse
Staying at Saguaro Palm Springs is like swimming in a bowl of fruit loops! With the fun colours and the post-modern designer vibe, the Saguaro does a great job of sloughing away travel fatigue. Guests can choose to swim, soak up some rays, ping some pong, pedal cruise the neighbourhood, or simply chill with margherita in hand. While the rooms and corridors could use more than the cursory clean that we observed, the place is still a great stop for a night or two. The Saguaro appeals to a young, h [... read more]
MGM Grand: Amazing
This hotel was great!!! We were there over NYE and what a incredible experience. The hotel has everything you could possibly need or want. Couldn’t be happier with our choice. The Starbucks is very convenient with Two locations in the hotel. We ate at Wolf Gang Puck for dinner one night. It never disappoints
