Valentin Cayo Cruz: Had a very relaxing week at the Valentin Cayo Cruz.

The resort is quiet and in an out of the way locale. The main pool area was nice with a swim up bar. The other pools were quaint and quiet. The grounds were lovely and everything was well situated. Beach was beautiful although very windy. The entertainment was fine and did their best. The food was good for Cuba. But white wine was only served in the a la cartes. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the staff did a great job each day.

Blau Varadero: Absolutely Wonderful Resort

The whole resort is so clean and the staff is amazing. Karl the Food & Service Manager seemed liked he worked 14 hours a day!! The food was well stocked and great flavour. We would come back again for sure.

Valentin Cayo Cruz: 3 star at best!

The hotel was updated and clean enough. The grounds are spread out and it can be a hike to the pool or beach or snack bar depending where you are placed. Very little shade if it’s windy because they can’t use umbrellas. Had to get up at 5:30 am to get shade chairs. The staff was good once you showed them some money. Customer service called guests liars when staff messed up rather than apologize. I’ve been to Cuba several times and this place did not feel like Cuba. Hotel Bella Costa: Amazing 2 week stay

We can not find anything wrong with this resort as it was our 19th time going there. They have made it more accessible for people with disabilities. I really hope they make some of the rooms as in bathrooms more accessible for disability people example walk in showers. We took my shower stool with us and it worked. I know people say there is no food in Cuba well we totally disagree with that statement. There is so much great food you can’t go hungry or if you do you are too fussy. Hotel Playa Coco: Amazing resort!

Food was amazing! Entertainment always on thier game! Hotel staff were helpful and curtious! Lots of activities for the children. Ice cream shop is air conditioned and ice cream delicious! Our favorite resort to go to in Cayo Coco!

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Beautiful place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay. The food was good, plenty of choice. Even our kids who are picky eaters found something that they liked. They have a beautiful beach that our little one enjoyed playing at and exploring a lot. The water is pretty shallow which makes it safer for a families with small children. During our stay there weren't many mosquitoes which was also a plus. We would definitely go back there again

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Amazing resort

My family and myself had a fantastic week! The grounds were lush with lots of colour, beach was well maintained and plenty of lounge chairs! The entertainment staff were fabulous and made us all wanna dance!

Brisas Guardalavaca: A great week!

A very spacious and comfortable 'villa' in the more quiet area of the complex. Awesome beach. Fair food at the buffet and great dining at the a'lacartes. Very friendly staff. We met many folks from Canada that have been back up to 25, 34, and 42 times!! Entertainment was a bit below Cuban standards but OK. Pools and bars were great. Hot water was a bit scarce. Extremely great value for the budget minded. We would definitely return.

Melia Las Americas: Great resort

We came back from this resort last week. It was our first time in Melia Las Americas, and our impression of this resort was good. We booked The Level. Grounds of this resort look very nice. The ocean is absolutely amazing, crystal clear and warm but a bit wavy. The beach is good. We were spending all mornings at the beach, and afternoons at the swimming pool. We could always find launches, and staff at the beach was bringing us launch cushions as soon as we were coming. Our room was very spacious and practically looked like an apartment. Beds were comfortable, and bed linens clean. Room cleaning service was not bad, but in our opinion, cleaning personnel should do a better job. Food and drinks and their selection at the resort were just okay (which was expected and didn't affect our impression of the vacation); however, pizza at Limoncello for lunch was outstanding :) We very rarely eat pizza in general, but we really enjoyed it at Limoncello and highly recommend to try it. Customer service at the resort is decent but has room for improvement. Will we return? Probably, yes. Melia Las Americas is a beautiful place to stay if you need a nice and tranquil getaway at the ocean.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Catfished by Sunwing

What a dump! The place is falling apart right before your eyes. Every single night that my son and I were there, the a la carte restaurants were “fully booked”. During Easter long weekend when the price to travel was $1500 each per person, YOU WOULD THINK THAT THIS RESORT THAT WAS BARELY AT CAPACITY COULD ACCOMMODATE US ON AT LEAST ONNNNNNNE OF OUR NIGHTS WITH A PROPER MEAL!!! (Not even laughing or joking). What a disaster! Avoid avoid avoid! Go to Holguin or Cayo Coco if you’re desperate for Cuba. Everything about this trip sucked. NOBODY was having a good time. Hotel Playa Paraiso: Such a pretty place !

This was my first trip out of the country, it was an awesome experience! The people and staff were beyond friendly , , my room was very comfy , the food was delicious ! Thank you for everything! I’ll return someday .

Paradisus Los Cayos: Beautiful resort great staff

The grounds were very well kept restaurants for decent. The japanese is the best, like every resort definitely recommend staff, very attentive.The rooms were very clean as well.........................

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Beautiful Landcsaped Resort

The resort was beautiful and clean. The grounds were kept clean and landscape was amazing. Beaches were beautiful and clean. Plenty of loungers to go round with no need to get up at 6am to reserve with a beach towel. Staff was friendly and kind. Beautiful weather in March. We went on March Break and wasn't overly packed with tourists. Great off resort restaurants walking distance. Walking distance to market.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Sanctuary Grand Memories Holguin

Stay were great . Rooms were excellent. Loved our stay people friendly and aim to please. The amenities excellent. Butlers Carlos and Eddy were on top of things. Very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Made our reservations for a la carte so we did not waste time doing so.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Deteriorating Buffet

This is a lovely hotel with an intimate, shady beach, which unfortunately seems to be subject to gale-strength winds virtually every day. I had a really nice room that faced a quiet, private garden. I saw a Cuban pygmy owl in the tree in front of my balcony. It stayed there for a couple of hours! However, compared to my stay last year, the food has deteriorated markedly. I found it pretty much inedible, except for the black beans and rice and salad. There were no hamburgers on any day at the snack bar, only hot dogs. The fried banana chips at the snack bar were great! And the two a la carte meals I had (one Cuban and one Italian) were delicious, and showed what the chefs are capable of when they are given the right ingredients. I found it sad that the buffet was so bad, and for that reason, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Memories Jibacoa: Fabulous Resort

Absolutely Love this resort . The staff is super friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms and the grounds are kept nice. Food is great , lots of variety, with 3 a la carts and also the Buffett. The beach is really nice with lots of shade and sun for which ever you prefer. Totally recommend this resort . Excellent

Iberostar Coral Ensenachos: Another awesome stay at the Coral Ensenachos

Our third consecutive year staying two weeks at the Coral. As expected the facilities are a little dated, but they are well maintained and very clean. The beach is spectacular and with the added shade, there is no issues with reserving beach chairs or needed to be there early. The staff are amazing, remembering your preferences and happy to say hi and ensure that you enjoying your stay. The resort is pretty quiet and there are a lot of returning guests, it’s becoming our Cubian spring home.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Breath Taking Beach

As soon as you see the beach, you will know why you came to this resort. One of the nicest beaches you will ever see. The resort is very nice, but sometime seems a bit under staffed at times. A la cart restaurants are great and buffet is good. Highly recommend a visit to Grand Aston Cayo Paradon.

Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Amazing resort!!!

What an amazing place!!! Absolutely love this resort. Staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautiful, beaches are amazing!! This was our first tropical vacation and Angsana did not disappoint!! Will definitely be returning!!!

Sol Cayo Coco: frequent traveler

Sol Cayo Coco is an older family resort... Everything is close at hand, restaurants, lobby, pool area, beach.. etc. plenty of food, very well presented and very good. The staff is amazing and caring. My room was very clean, very comfortable bed and lovely chamber lady whom I met. Beach is great for long walks . The only negative is they play excercise music between the hours of 4 pm and 6pm which is much too loud, not a healthy volume..
