Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort, wonderful staff.

Jan 16-23-15. Very nice resort, staff was amazing, from wait staff to maintenance very officiate and friendly. Grounds were beautiful, pools great, food was very good. All 16 of us had a great time. The beach was kept clean and there were always chairs to be found, poolside as well as the beach. Resort was big enough but not too big. Really enjoyed the adult pool just to sneak off for some time on our own.

TRS Turquesa: Great resort

Good location, great beach, awesome service and great food. Been there twice and also to bavaro & palace.Would return again and the swim up are great.New pool and bar ,butler was great and was able to do all reservations to restaurant.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Not the best vacation spot

I really do not like complaining but here goes!! Very nice and clean but pools need upgrading, beds were impossible to sleep on, food was disgusting and most of the alcoholic drinks were not appealing. On our last day we had a worker wanting to change the curtains walk right into the room while i was changing. Our door was shut so how he got in was beyond us. I have not and will not suggest this resort to any of my business clients or friends. I doubt i will be able to get my boyfriend to go bac [... read more]k to Dominican Republic at all.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Love this resort!

this place gets better every time we go. doesn't matter the color of your bracelet everyone is a VIP. the food is excellent, no line ups, lots of chairs on the beach. grounds are beautiful. staff are friendly

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Huge resort

Beautiful grounds, beach and ocean. Rooms a bit dated, beds comfortable, showers terrible but there was always hot water. Food good once you explore different buffets. A la carte advertised as no reservation needed which is true but you need to line up 2 hours prior to opening to get a table. Managed to get a table at Japanese with no wait time. Very slow service, it took about two hours for appetizers and main course that we could get at a buffet. Never experienced A/C or a fan at any enclosed  [... read more]restaurant or buffet. Animation at poolside or the beach is rather poor, Night entertainment ok.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: crazy fun

Great resort with lots to do. Can boogie board, surf or paddle board in ocean. Free catamaran rides, sea water pool has crazy fish in it. Food was ok but bar service was great. quiet location beautiful beach

Grand Palladium Palace: Exceeded Expectations, Debunked any Bad Reviews

Hotel, room, pools and beach were all gorgeous, food (especially restaurants) was delicious, entertainment crew is excellent! We relaxed AND had SO much fun participating in different things every day and night. From our unexpectedly wonderful oceanview Loft Suite to the excellent service from every single happy staff member, we had no trouble debunking every bad thing we had read on reviews of the resort prior to our trip. Grand Palladium Palace: Beautiful resort

The rooms were very clean and the grounds were kept very well. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. We were very pleased with this resort from the waiters,the tour guides and any other staff we came in contact with.

Grand Palladium Palace: Amazing Vacation

This resort was excellent. We enjoyed how close we were to the beach, Reception area and eating options. Although not an "adults only" resort, we had access to this new pool that is for "adults only", which gave us the quiet and relaxing time all adults enjoy every once in a while.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great Family Vacation Spot

The food was fantastic, definitely something for everyone at the main buffet. There are about 5 or 6 a la carte restaurants, would have been nice to be told that reservations weren't required. This is a nice feature, however, it created some long wait times to get in. The Casino was fun! You can use both American and DR peso's. Loved the live music in the lobby at night, great musicians. The staff was always willing to help, very quick to lend a hand in any way and we were always greeted with a  [... read more]smile. Our room was nice, very basic. We found there to be a bit of a bad smell in the washroom. And our toilet and tub was reacting loudly everytime one of our neighbors flushed or drained the tub. But it was cleaned everyday very nicely and the mini fridge and bar was totally restocked everyday without us having to ask. The shows at night are very children based. If you have kids, this place is wonderful. There's a castle for them to play in and lots to keep them busy in the day.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Beautiful Resort

Very well kept resort. Loved the open air lobbies. Shows were ok. Staff was very friendly. Fabian and rest of POP (people of palladium) did a wonderful job during pool side activities. A la carte restaurants were good. Our family of 8 had mixed reviews on Portofino (italian) but Rodizio(brazilian) and Ribs and More were excellent. Beach bbq was also very good. Beach was really nice after the sea calmed down. The rough seas pushed lots of sea weed onto the beach. The staff did a good job keeping [... read more] up. After the seas calmed and no more weeds were accumulating the beach was great. The rooms were really nice. Although the bedding wasnt the most comfortable. It would of beem nice to have 2 queen size beds instead of 2 double beds. Overall a great experience and we would definitely go back to this resort.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Very Relaxing Atmosphere and Great Day Trips

Everything was wonderful, however the only lacking in our eyes was the daytime entertainment staff. Our section of the resort didn't seem to have Salsa or Bachata dance lessons. We would have like to have more cultural experiences on the resort, and fun inspiring staff.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Great Family Resort

Clean facilities, friendly staff, great selection of restaurants, good food, lots of kids activities, eco- friendly. We were a large group and all had a wonderful experience. We are all talking about going back.

Grand Palladium Palace: Third visit and still loving it! :)

This was my third to Grand Palladium in Punta Cana, it was five years since my last visit. I have noticed a lot of changes, mostly good ones but some not as good. I found there was less choices of food at the buffet, and not because I now have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities that I didn't have before , but also from my husband's point of view. We do want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Jose Miguel and also Frankelly both managers at the Bavaro buffet and also so them and they saved me at s [... read more]ome of the a la cartes as well. As I said I have ALOT of food allergies and so took a letter along translated into Spanish to help me out on things I could and could not eat. These two amazing men along with a third man whom I didn't get his name saved my soul as they were the few individuals that only spoke English and related to the chefs, omelette guys, the amazing girl blending fresh fruit shakes and juices in the morning at the Bavaro buffet, for me. Also Frankelly went to the Mexican and also the Gourmet Steak house and explained things for me, and also I had one of my BEST meals at the Japanese restaurant in Palace. Thank you all for finding some items that were not only safe but tasty for me to eat. I do have to say I was totally disappointed with the help we received at the Palace PR girl . Very young and I don't know if she was new at her job, but not understanding and upset both myself and my husband. Lastly I am soooo glad to say we found our great old friend William , who this time worked at the Palace Pool bar, but the last two times were at the Punta Cana Pool bar. This was even better as this time we actually stayed in the Palace area. Also Clara at the Palace Swim up , it was a pleasure to meet you for the first time and spend time with you. We loved our room which was on the side of the first block on the beach . Block 8100 it was on the side so the cool breeze we experienced the first few days were blocked but we still had oceanview as well as gardenview and that breeze in the coconut limbs that hung over our balcony giving you that soothing sound. I believe I will return again, if I have the funds to go back. I think you definitely need at least 10 days to 2 weeks to experience all the great areas and restaraunts at the is resort as well as the 6 pools and the awesome beach.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful and spacious

Resort and rooms are beautiful, clean and very well kept. Enough space around the pools and on the beach. Always enough chairs and towels. Matrass could have been a little softer. Food is very well prepared and lots of variety. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't like the line-ups outside the theme restaurants and buffets. Waiting time were too long and people got frustrated from waiting to be seated, while there were empty tables inside. It seems like there were not enough staff on hand to  [... read more]handle the dining rooms or kitchens. Once inside, though, the service and food were amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable when it comes to food allergies and they try hard to accommodate all dietary requirements. I would definitely recommend this resort and I would go back, hoping they have the restaurant situation all sorted out!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Nice beach acceptable service

Overall our time away was really nice. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. The pools were kid friendly and for the most part there was plenty of seating. Our room was acceptable and the cleaning staff were excellent for the first few days although they did not clean properly the last half of the week and our room stunk. We were told that even though our daughter had gotten sick on the blanket we could not get a new one. The fridge in our room did not keep drinks cold and no one came to  [... read more]look at it in spite of several visits to the front desk. Cleaning staff did not follow our requests for cleaning times and interrupted our daughter's nap time to bring towels. Check in and check out were nightmares and we almost missed the bus back to the airport because of the slow service. The food was decent but we relied heavily on a good breakfast as our family did not like much of the food served otherwise. The service was usually decent although only a few of the servers seemed concerned with speedy service. In spite of our complaints we would consider going back.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Nothing to write home about

First off on the bus trip to the hotel which is only about 40 minutes the bus driver stopped off about 15 minutes from the resort so we could have a drink and told us that it was a lot cheaper than the ones we got at the airport. (ya right) it was the same price $6.00 american for a drink. why would he stop that close when we could have been at the resort drinking for free?(just asking) We get to the resort and get to the front of the line to be told because we are imperial we get special check  [... read more]in to go to the other side of the lobby to stand in line. When we got our bracelet and envelope you might have thought that was it but NO we had to go again and stand in the LONG line up where we were the first time to get our key. Paying the extra money for imperial means nothing as we were to get a view but got on the 1st floor and faced another building whereas people we talked to that did not pay the extra got oceanview and third floor. Got to our room and key did not work, fridge was warm , safe would not work, and patio door would not lock (remember ground floor and was there with my sister). The maintenence crew did come and fix everthing and were very nice. We landed at 12:30 and by that time it was after 6:00 . A bottle of rum and fruit plate were to be in the room along with slippers and robe. Rum (small bottle) and fruit plate arrived after been informed on the 3rd day . On the 4th day we got a room on the 3rd floor with a view. On the 4th day we got our slippers and on the 5th day we got our robe. We wanted to get away after the busy Christmas we had and took to the beach and pool areas to read a good book only to have loud music playing the same CD over and over again, needless to say I kept reading the same pages over and over again. To round things up it was the worst check in ever and I travel a good deal but all was not a total loss as the people are friendly and the food was good. Only one bar quit a ways from our room had the premium liquor , so they should have all the bars with it in NOT just the one.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Our Wonderful Family Christmas Vacation!

The grand palladium white sands is a very large lovely hotel on a beautifully landscaped property surrounded by lush vegetation. The gardens and property are taken care of daily. This hotel has four lobbies which covers a large area, and if needed, a small train travels regularly to the other lobbies. We enjoyed relaxing by the swimming pool surrounded by beautiful Palm trees. At lunchtime, I loved the freshly grilled fish by the beach. Dinner at the steak house and Mexican Restaurant was excellent. The Japanese Restaurant was good, the chef put on a good show, except he added too much soya sauce to the food which made the meal too salty. The buffet restaurant had an excellent selection of food to choose from. We all enjoyed the Creme brûlée desserts at the restaurants. Our room was lovely, spacious, and very clean. Unfortunately, our daughters room had a fridge which did not work all week, even after three requests for repairs! Our balcony faced a forest which was nice and private. We had requested a king size bed, but they could only provide two double beds which was disappointing. The bed was nice and firm, but the pillows were too hard. My husband and I went to the spa one day and had a relaxing 80 minute massage which was great. Afterwards, we enjoyed the lovely spa facility...well worth it!! We explored Tulum, Coba and visited Playa del Carmen. We had a great time!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Would never recommend this hotel.

Rooms were dirty - dust everywhere, no cold water in the sink, very very luke warm water for showering - except for one day where the water was scalding so hot had to wet the facecloth and let it cool down then basically sponge bath. Never left toilet paper. Fridge didnt work for 2 days despite phone calls. AC is terrible. Broken table on the deck. Only one chair - deck can't hold more than 1. Cleaning of the room is terrible - one day we left at 8am saw the maid said Ola came back at 4 room sti [... read more]ll not done. One night no top sheet, another night no blanket. Everyone was told something different regarding the a la carte restaruants. If you go on an excursion and have to leave the hotel before 7 there is no where to get anything to eat. However they will make a sandwich for you and charge you $18 ! I talked to the Manager about all of the things that went wrong and he told me "I don't have any record of any of your calls", so he basically called me a liar. I would never ever go back to this hotel or any other Palladium.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Second time at this resort and it has deteriorated

Beach is not the best, the grounds are well maintained....Lobby Restroom was the cleanest. The others on the resort need to be taken care of more often. Food was OK. Our Suite was great, the separate bedroom/living room was a nice feature. Always had to ask for bottled water.
