Las Brisas Huatulco: Nice resort

Spacious property. Great views. Staff great. Housecleaning outstanding. Challenges: was under the understanding that resort was gluten free and could accommodate my allergy to tomatoes. By third day frustrated and went to concierge. They said I should have been provided with a envelope upon arrival stating my allergies etc. No such thing was given, they kindly then provided me one which was muchly appreciated. But after that I had to have Mahi mahi fish for four days in a row as the restaur [... read more]ants weren’t able to accommodate the gluten-free and the tomatoes. Finally the last night the Mexican restaurant was outstanding and provided me a beautiful chicken dinner which was second to none and the staff Were fantastic and so understanding. As well under the impression that it had high end alcohol, specifically Grey Goose. No such thing.

Moon Palace Cancun: Wonderful time!!

Beautiful resort with lots of things to do. Staff is amazing and the rooms are incredibly clean. I did not c one bug and they have a pot purri in the building so no mouldy smell. Regretfully we had a room with a tub in the middle of it with no privacy which was weird with my 13 year old son. The king size bed was way too soft as well. The food was good for our one week stay but some restaurants were very difficult to get in2 especially the Japanese restaurant. Regretfully the beach was ruff  [... read more]with a lot of seaweed. Dreams Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

The rooms were huge and comfortable , two double beds a Jacuzzi and a hot tub on the balcony cw ocean front view . The food was excellent and they add theme restraunts ex Mexican , japenese , ect for expanding your culture. Dreams resorts employees are very curtious and would due about anything to please you , they put there whole heart in their tasks from the front desk to the maid.The ocean has soft white sand and is cleaned daily ,three pools clean and heated.My granddaughters found lots of [... read more] activities rock climbing,painting,braided hair,ect.We will return someday for SURE!

Grand Oasis Palm: Decent Resort

We stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm Dec 22-29, 2017 with our 11 and 10 year olds. We did enjoy this resort, and there are no major issues, but there are no frills either. First off, the beach is beautiful as is typical of Cancun. There is a bit of seaweed, but even in the water they have trails made for you so you don't have to step on it. We brought our own snorkeling gear and saw a Sea Star (Starfish) one day. There were a few other fish (one that looked kind of like swordfish but were very [... read more] small) also. We saw pelicans every day. The staff put out hammocks in the morning along the water so you can lay on the hammock in the water. The safe is not included, and it is a lock with a key, not a passcode. When you are checking in, you will get a lock to put into the safe and a key. You pay at checkout. I don't remember how much it cost, but it wasn't much. Maybe $30USD? I am not sure. There are elevators, but they are small and slow. We often wouldn't be able to get in because it was full. We were on the 5th floor, which was 90 stairs, so I wouldn't have wanted to be much higher and use stairs. About 7-8 people max can fit in the elevator. We didn't spend any time at the pools at all as they were far too cold to swim in. I prefer the ocean anyway. The servers and bartenders were good. We tipped one server about $10/day and she was great. She kept our drinks full, although we don't drink a lot, but she kept drinks coming for the kids as well. Our room was not restocked with water daily, and we actually did tip the maid $5/day starting on the first day. We didn't figure out the pattern for getting water. There is a coffee bar near the lobby. It was great. There were many great hot/cold coffees. The kids liked the iced coffees. There is a sushi bar and snack bar by the beach. We ate there for lunch most days so we didn't have to go find the buffet. There is a snack bar by it which has hot dogs, fries, nachos, etc and a bar. The rooms are fine. The beds were not overly comfortable, but the rooms were clean. This resort is a sister to the resort beside it, the Oasis Palm. If you stay at the Grand, you can use the facilities of both. If you stay on the other side, you cannot. They put a water trampoline into the ocean every day. The kids enjoyed that. The resort is right beside the Captan Hook ship. We did that with the kids, and upgraded to VIP. Well worth it. The entertainment staff were amazing! Actually, all the staff were fantastic. Laura, our server on the beach, was so sweet. We walked along the beach most mornings. It was beautiful. The weather is consistently good in Cancun. The ocean is gorgeous and the sand is white. The resort was fine, but nothing spectacular. The food was fine everywhere. We were never hungry. It is a good value for the cost.

HM Playa del Carmen: Lovely oasis in the center, all amenties you desire...

We truly enjoyed are stay here. Cute boutique hotel with nice pool and grounds. Beach not far and towels included daily. Bottles of water in the room every day and really good breakfast. Close to the action of 5th avenue. A lot of good restaurants around. Would definetly return.

Emporio Acapulco: Great staff

This was my 3rd year in a row staying at the Emporio, the great part about it is the service. Private cabanas at the beach are included and the service is great, food and drinks bought to you all day. The staff go out of their way to help you and are always working hard to service visitors. My family and I have loved stayed at Emporio, but this year we did have some service issues with check-in. Right away I noticed something was different and found out that management changed. Cesar is the [... read more] new manager and he lacks service skills, he has no appreciation for efficiency in the check-in process after a long day of travelling. There were 8 people in my party, with 4 room reservations and Cesar made the check-in process frustrating and lengthy. Then when I was not happy and found out he was the manager I was shocked. He has such poor mannerisms and seemed incompetent. I literally watched him click on a keyboard for 20 min and he still couldn't answer where my rooms were. If the resort were full of people like Cesar I would never return, but the other staff are amazing. Raul and Javier by the pool, Alexandro and Felix at the beach cabanas. Marlon cooking eggs every morning, and Giovanni serving the restaurant at night. Everyone is so happy and friendly and will go out of their way for you - except Cesar. Sadly I saw other "supervisors" actually sleeping while working. The frontline staff work so hard to keep customers happy and coming back and Cesar's management is ruining this. I will go back again though because the staff we deal with every day is so amazing.

Moon Palace Cancun: Not persuading at all!!!

Trip overall was fine but way below our expectations. Flight was OK (we paid extra to get exit row!!), pick up & drive to destination and vice versa were well arranged. Reception and check in was good and we were happy with the rooms and their cleanliness. Food quality was terrible (Except for the Asian restaurant which was pretty fine) and same or worse than the mid-class Cuban resorts. In general, hotel staff in part were not welcoming and sometimes very rude. I relayed three matters (Buggy  [... read more]drivers & restaurant staff) of misbehavior to hotel PR staff. Hotel had three lobby and the "Grand" was much better than ours (Sunrise).

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Great Resort!

This was a amazing resort, very clean, great service and something for everyone to do. Beautiful beaches. Fantastic food with many choices! Rooms were always cleaned every day and fridge restocked. If you tip well you get even better customer service. And extra beer in your fridge!

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Picture Perfect Resort!

Service and cleanliness were off the charts. Food was always delicious, a la carte restaurants were above average. Sunset views were gorgeous from every room. The included activities were exceptional-more than we have ever experienced before at other resorts in Mexico.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Our vacation home

We have stayed at The Royal Decameron Complex 11 times, and every time, our experience has always been pleasureable. The staff are always friendly, rooms are clean, good variety of food and excellent entertainment, Picturesque's, we will be going back.

Live Aqua Cancun: Amazing experience

Amazing view from the room. The food was great, a lots of variety. The service is very good. The peoples are really nice. The hotel is near a beautiful shopping mall. But if you want to see Mexican culture, perhaps this hotel is not for you.

Sandos Cancun: Never go there!

Food is very limited (same every day) room service is awful, we were there for 2 weeks and even with daily tips they never mop our floor! Hotel is very dated. When you go to the beach you have to exchange a card to one beach towel!!! Loose towel or card - no more towels... In the buffet no salmon on the breakfast, the juices are deluded, same with tequila and wine. Terrible! Terrible hotel!!!

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Great resort

We have been here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. The grounds are well maintained and the pools are great. Service is good in all areas. We found a couple great servers and once we make connections with certain people, our trip is that much more enjoyable. Elvis in the dining room made our mealtime great and Luis at the pool made activities fun.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Beautiful resort - access to both properties

Everything was wonderful - stayed at the Eldorado Seaside suites. The room was great but to be honest the swim out water feature off the balconies were nice but not really practical - the water was on the cool side. Went into it once to say I was in it but spent all my time at the beach. The hotel can be pretty noisy once the pool bar gets up and running. If you like to party get a room on the first floor with swim out access to the pool. Spent majority of time at the other Eldorado resort  [... read more]which had the better beach area. Only a 5 minute walk. Staff was great and friendly, the food was delicious but the portions could have been larger.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Love this place

The Royal Decameron is warm friendly and clean. The food is delicious and the staff responsive. We have been going there since 2003 and absolutely love it. The colours, staff, food and grounds are beautiful I always felt completely safe on the resort and in and around Bucerias

Riu Santa Fe: VERY NICE YOU WILL LIKE IT.

Over all very good. The steak house needs a new system to eat there. Line up and wait 2 hours to eat just didn't work for us. Also needs more staff as it was understaffed on both occasions .All other restaurants were fine. Clean rooms with good room service . All staff very pleasant and helpful.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Beautiful place, great for families. The pool was little cold. I will definitely go back. Staffs were very friendly, food is perfect and the rooms are very clean. My kids didn’t want to go back home, they love the place and great shows.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Viva windham maya

Food was great. Never a lack of food and variety. 24 hour restaurant and bar had wide variety not just nachos and buns. Pork roast, rice chicken fries burgers hot dogs fruit vegetables you name it. Very clean. Lots for kids. Ocean is wonderful. Adult only pool is quiet and a little piece of heaven. Plenary of purified water at all bars. Staff are not in your face for tips all the time. Close to lots of shops and restaurants

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Clean and beautiful resort

The grounds were beautiful, and well maintained. We were a family of 6 adults and two children 4 and 2. This hotel was very big, with plenty of golf carts to give you a lift. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable beds. Food was excellent but often just warm, lots of variety. Specialty restaurants Mediterranean, Italian and Mexican was great. This hotel is not on the beach and you have to take shuttle cart to beach which was a little disappointing as you had to make sure you pack all your stuff [... read more] and carry it to the front lobby to then get on a shuttle.

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Beautiful Resort

The layout of the rooms were fabulous. Large bathrooms and great showers. A bit noisy during the night. The food was delicious and plentiful.. Friendly and helpful waiters and waitresses at every meal. The bar tenders looked after us promptly. I had invited my family to celebrate my 80th and all 7 of us enjoyed our stay.
