Grand Riviera Princess: Ok resort

The resort and the rooms very clean and in very good condition. Food fresh, lots of fruits, but seemed the same all the time. Beach Sandy, but the water right where the main beach is smells, and it seems like there is brown water comingnoutnof the sink holes in the ocean close to the beach. Not sure if that was sewer or something else. Space on the beach very compacted. Everyone was on top of each other.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: First time but not the last!

First time to Mexico and all I can say about this resort was it was. 5 star from the time we were welcomed with smiles , drinks and wet cloth to the time we left with hugs from the staff. Food was excellent from the a la cartes right down to the buffet. Snack bar by the pool was awesome, daily cleaning was bang on, with turn Down service at night to boot! Never had to wait for trolleys, and the 10 min ride to the beach is nothing..if your looking for a party place, this is not it , although th [... read more]ey do have a disco in the other hotel. This is a low key , older crowd place to chill and relax and get pampered. Beach is nice but rocky but next to the dock it's sandy and you swim with fish,!! Too cool.. There are a few pools located close to each other so always chairs and fresh towels all day long, with waitress service.. Both places have the waitress handing out fruit kebobs.. yummy. Drinks are premium and asking for stronger is not a problem! Loll Lots of activities to do but at $50 to $100 a person/US..( coming from Canada) that's pricey if you want to do a few. Definitely giving it a 5 star..and going back next year.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: 5 star all the way!

This was the 6th all-inclusive we have been to, and by far the best! Very family-oriented, great service, great food (not just for Mexico standards!) The pirate pool and baby club were both great for our 2&4 year olds!

Secrets Huatulco: Better than expected, nice natural setting

The resort is nicely spread out on steep slopes around a small, quite private bay, with wonderfull views from everywhere. It has very well kept and clean grounds, beach is great, pool long enough so that one can have a good swim. It was a bit too steep going into the ocean, though, but on the far-left side of the bay (no lifeguards there) it was much better. It was really good for watersports, too. The climate is quite dry there, I was amazed how confortable we felt even though the max temp. was around 30 Celsius. The only funny/weird thing was the partially transparent glass doors to toilet and shower ... right from the entrance hallway ...?!?! and a sliding half-wall towards the bed ... we are no perverts ... we had a small incident.... Otherwise, it was a great vacation, we'll be back.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: A Lovely Resort

This was a lovely hotel, the rooms were extra special and well maintained and always clean. Very pleased . The grounds were very well maintained as well.. The staff were always pleasant and willing to please the clients. The food service was great and provided food to please everyone’s palette.pasta could have had spices like oregano. The entertainment committee needs to look at doing their activities for the young group differently. The would put away the game tables which left no activities  [... read more]for the this age group after 5:00 p.m. plenty of activities during the day, beach voyellball , soccer and water sports, not enough beach boards, next time will take our own for grandchildren.

Riu Palace Las Americas: We didn't want to leave even after 2 weeks!

The rooms were great. Clean, modern, elegant with a comfy bed, large bathroom and beautiful balcony. We had Incredible views that we loved waking up to every morning. We also ejoyed our evenings with the shows dancing and having a nightcap while staring at the upside down big dipper :)

Paradisus Cancun: Fantastic resort!

We were so impressed with Paradisus Cancun! Definitely the best all-inclusive we've ever experienced! Fantastic service-friendly and very quick to respond! Stunningly beautiful hotel atrium and wonderful beach. Top quality drinks too!

El Dorado Maroma: Ahhhhh!

Very Relaxing atmosphere. Small resort with very friendly and attentive staff, personalized service. Beautiful white sand beach. Gourmet food, nice selection of restaurants. Peruvian was our favourite! Palafitos was an excellent restaurant with amazing food and worth the extra charge. Large suites, we had infinity pool suite with beach bed and chairs on our balcony. Man made Island with hammocks for a peaceful retreat. Ricks bar has a rooftop sitting area to enjoy the starry nights. 24 hour room service had a great selection. Any minor concerns were addressed right away by the staff. We loved our vacation here! 5 star and great value!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Resort!

The resort was very good. Lots of food options and transportation around the resort. Service was always very good. The air conditioner in our room did leak a fair bit but otherwise was very good. We couldn’t get our room service to work to get food in the evenings but otherwise everything was perfect.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Luxurious Resort

Luxurious, clean, modern, all inclusive; professional and friendly staff, upscale dinning and spa, amazing shows with live bands, and entertaining recreational activities. You are able to carry out your ideal holiday for all tastes and ADULT ages. I highly recommend the Platinum swim out suites. They are worth every penny invested in your vacation. Reliable internet everywhere!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Best resort

We visit the resort in december as a couple for the first time in Mexico.We visit Cuba and Dominican Republic before but Mexico is way far better compare with the other two.No issues at all , food ,accomodations and transport were great.Congratulations for Grand Palladium Kantenah team! Val

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Fun family vacation!!

Our family had a great time celebrating my nephews wedding at the resort and enjoy the warm sunshine on the beach. There were a few hiccup with the wedding venue that I believe got worked out. In the end we all had fun . My suggestion would be to have more entertainment at night ( dance club) and also food served at the beach. Not everyone wants to be at the pool area. With all the new Reno I'm am sure in time it will be a great resort to visit again.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Well worth the money

Very clean, great food and we felt very safe. Renovation are very nice and the beach is spectacular. Guest rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Order the special coffee in the Italian restaurant

Dreams Huatulco: Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful Resort

The Dreams Huatulco resort was beautiful! Rooms, restaurants, public washrooms and grounds were extremely clean and well cared for. Restaurant and room cleaning staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and aways smiling. The food in both the buffets and al a cart restaurants was a little dissapointing, however typical for a Mexican all inclusive resort. The beach has a steep slope to and from the pools and is some what hard to climb, not great for anyone with mobility issues. The sand on the beach  [... read more]is also very course and not packed for easy walking (a function of nature not the resorts fault) and you can only walk about 1/2 mile until the beach ends, so not a resort for those who like long walks on the beach. We had an enjoyable and relaxing time at the resort, however would not rush back.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Beautiful resort

I'm a loyal RIU hotel traveller and this resort provided all the amenities I needed. Wi-Fi all over resort and beach, room service and great food and service. Very clean and safe. The only thing that I would have liked was a little better entertainment at night

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: A superb resort

We loved the restaurants, both the à la carte and buffets. The beaches were clean and well maintained. Sharing all 4 resorts gave you lots of options to try their restaurants, pools, bars and entertainment venues. The shuttles were fast, frequent and easy to flag down; they even play musc on board in the evenings. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. This was the best all-inclusive resort we’ve stayed at in Mexico and we’ve been at 7 other 4 and 5 stars.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Go for the service, food, & gorgeous grounds including beach!

TIP: Joining the facebook group for this resort prior to the trip was VERY helpful! If you go for the rooms, you'll be slightly disappointed. The Sensimar side of the resort is older, so there are mature palms, but the rooms are dated and dim. Rooms: Originally, I was in 4028 (end of the hall), overlooking a pool. I was afraid it was going to be too loud, but there was barely anyone in it! (Tbh, I didn't even dip my toe in it because there wasn't much action.) I did find the AC a bit loud  [... read more]and midway, it completely broke, leaking, and shooting out ice. However, the problem was rectified and we were moved 2906, in the Premium Beach Front block. (I wouldn't write a negative review based on broken AC, unless the resort did nothing to solve the problem) I also found the AC in 2906 a bit loud, it sounded as though it was raining outside, but hey, at least it was functional. Being a beach front room, I think it would've been good if guests were able to exit their rooms via the patio door instead of walking all the way around the front. TIP: If you like to watch tv before you go to bed, I'd recommend you download some movies. I don't know if they have satellite or dish, but the quality is quite bad and the channels are very limited. They seemed to play the same movies every other night. Not a big deal for most, I'm sure. Service: Most of the staff were very friendly, greeting you with a "Hola" whenever they would cross paths. About half of them would go above and beyond their usual tasks. Personal Concierge: Absolutely useless. Alejandro, our original concierge, didn't offer us any tips or extra info. Booking of the 2 restaurants was soo archaic and can only be done during certain hours from 8:30am - 2:30pm. Concierge literally has to call each restaurant, where the phone seemed to ring endlessly. It was a time killer! Alejandro also said "restaurants are fully booked". However, when we went for our reservation at Klay Talay (Asian), it was only 1/4 full! So if you can't make your reservations, literally just walk in and ask if they'll accommodate you. You can use any of the concierges if yours is closed or unhelpful. Again, the facebook group for this resort was much more helpful than the personal concierge. Food: My favourite restaurant, that you didn't need any reservations for, was without a doubt Mia Casa (on the Seaside). Food also seemed to taste better there. Other honourable mentions goes out to: Seaside Market (for breakfast), Beach BBQ (breakfast & lunch, primarily for the convenience and atmosphere), & Culinarium for lunch/dinner. I didn't like Driftwood (lunch), Klay Talay (Asian by reservation), Seaside Market (for dinner, no variety), or Arrecifes (dim, nursing home atmosphere). You definitely won't go hungry! Overall, I think your experience varies on what you order. Sometimes there are inconsistencies in terms of how one dish tastes/looks depending on the night. It may say roasted chicken on the menu, but you end up with stewed or something like that. There are soo many bars on this resort, it's quite possible to not even go to half of them during a week's stay! Drinks: Most of the drinks have added syrup/sugar, so I learned to ask them to make a drink less sweet. If you want the Top Shelf liquor, you have to ask for it, re: Grey Goose, Don Julio, etc. Crowd, Noise-Level, Activities, Shows, etc.: I'm not sure if I went during low season, but the crowd was a bit older and things were quite tame. I usually make it out for every nightly show, at other resorts, and this time, I was only able to make it out to ONE. They were quite late, ~9:30pm. I usually tend to participate in all pool-side activities, but for some reason, I only made it out to one. I think it's because the beach was just so nice, that more people tended to migrate there, instead of the pools. Animation team wasn't super aggressive in recruiting people to participate. Crowd was older, primarily British, then American, lastly Canadian and most people seemed to keep to themselves. Overall, I'd return again and would recommend it to friends/family with some comments on what to expect!

Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta: ok resort - very small

Service was excellent and rooms and grounds were very clean - bathroom is very very small. Beds were awesome. Best part of the trip. Food was just okay, not great. Not enough selection as this is a very very small resort. You have to pay for lobster and not enough seafood on the menu. Water was not what I expected - very sandy Beach was soft and sandy - very nice Pools were small Booze was very good but you can get Corona in your room but not at the bar which makes no sense Nighlig [... read more]ht is very boring and so is the daytime. No real activities to write about. Did not go to the shows at night as they are the same in all resorts. Michael Jackson, circus, fire shows. All the same boring stuff. Las Brisas Huatulco: Beautiful resort!!!

The rooms have been updated, grounds are well manicured and water in the bays clean and clear. Were able to watch fish swimming around our feet. Food was good and lots of it would go again!!!!! Great value for money spent.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: What a GEM

Grounds were well maintained. Pools were clean. Beach was very nice. Food was fantastic Drinks were plentiful (no hassles from bartenders) Staff was very friendly and helpful The only issue was the "Showtime Theatre" that was built near the rooms. This was somewhat loud and echoed throughout the courtyard where the rooms were situated; anyone wishing to turn in early was out of luck.
