The Pyramid Cancun: Family Reunion at a Beautiful Resort

We were picked up promptly from the airport and taken directly to the hotel and it took approximately 20 minutes. We were greeted and checked in quickly and found our room easily. Our parents had arrived earlier that day and having to get up at 3am, they tried to take a nap in their room. The rest [... read more]aurants are all amazing and the food is served and prepared with excellence. I highly recommend paying extra for the Black VIP Bracelets. The black bracelets allow you to visit all the restaurants and the service cannot be beat. Almost every night there is a breathtaking circus show in the middle of the Pyramid. We stood outside our rooms and watched from the balcony. There is a wonderful jazz/folk club that we enjoyed every night after dinner. The beach was cleaned every day and the sand is white. Our stay was during the first week of December, and the ocean was a bit rough but if you held your ground, you could take a dip. This hotel has soft beach beds on the beach and along the many pools. The black bracelet allows access to these areas. The bathrooms by the beach were kept clean. The foliage is lovely and there are palm trees everywhere along with a fish pond and winding walking path. The only issue we personally had, was the locking door mechanism for our room had a battery fail at 11pm on the first night. The front desk could not help us and told us we had to wait until 8am for maintenance. We could not find anyone to help us and after a couple of hours I had no choice but to channel my inner Harley Quinn and finally three bus boys were sent up with tools and they were able to open our room at 2am. When we opened the door there was a very powerful glue smell in the room from the construction above. We could not sleep in our room, so they gave us a key for an empty room and we grabbed our toothbrushes and slept there. We ended up moving rooms because they didn't seem to have three AA batteries to fix the door. Other than that first unfortunate night, we had a lovely time and I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed the restaurants, pools, and beach.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Would highly recommend

Very enjoyable vacation. Clean rooms/hotel, friendly staff/most accommodating, great beach. Food was amazing as were there house wines. Will definitely be back. :) Gym was small, but had updated equipment.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: fabulous resort

my wife and i are active 60 year olds,we have travelled quite a bit, we have never enjoyed a resort as much as DREAM SANDS CANCUN, great staff ,everyone acknowledges you, most speak english and so much staff, food was terrific, comfortable beds, rooms extremely nice, cleaned daily, great ocean views,never had to wait once for dinners, good wines even the house wine was enjoyable, nice beach,in a bit of a bay, well protected from elements, will be returning with family for sure . Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great Trip

We had another great trip to Mexico to the Grand Palladium Kantenah, it is our yearly trip that we have been doing for 10 or more years now. The resort has been doing reno's all over the place so it just keeps getting better all the time, the people are very friendly and helpful, the food is fabulous the beach is great you can't ask for a better place to spend your vacation. Our only complaint was the ride back to the airport, the driver showed up 40 minutes late to pick us up then he drove [... read more] like a maniac in heavy traffic doing 140kph until someone screamed at him to slow down and not try and kill us, we did make it to the airport a little shaky but in one piece. We are already planning a return in April instead of going back to Cuba.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: FANTASTIC!

Food was great. Lots of variety. The beaches and water were stellar. The grounds were stunning. Animals all over the place. The whole place was very alive. A long way from the airport and any towns but we will be going back.

Tropicana Hotel: Great location, clean and safe...

I have been going to the Tropicana for the past 4 years, likely 5 times by now. It is my first choice when going to Puerto Vallarta. While some of the mechanics of the hotel are old (“iffy” plumbing) the best feature is the property’s cleanliness.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Barcelo Maya Caribe

The hotels grounds are beautiful. The 4 resorts, Beach, Caribe, Colonial and Tropical are all within easy walking distance of each other. Fifty percent of the staff are friendly in that you were greeted with a hello as you walked by. The pools are great. The kids play structures are second to none. Awesome! The food is good, but often repetitive. Guest services are very helpful. The free WiFi is terrible. It is available for 3 hours per day and you have to go to the mall area to access it. If yo [... read more]u want WiFi access, I suggest buying the package for the week, about $40. Otherwise, it's $9/day. Our check in was a disaster. It was further complicated by the fact that the desk clerk did not speak English very well. We have been to other similar resorts in the area, and our overall experience was much more satisfying.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Very nice Resort

Staff works hard ,very nice grounds and well kept . Need a few lounges around the main pool area , Not everyone likes the sun beds , Good variety of food choices at the buffet. Asian eatery was our favorite. Rooms were very nice and clean. Take insect spray as bugs were hungry .

Samba Vallarta: Very good locationsmsll

Small very friendly resort. Grounds are beautiful. Staff is excellent & very accommodating.Rooms need a bit of updating. Beach is is comfortable. Very family friendly. Coffee is ready for those that need their fix first thing in the morning .

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Great resort

Buildings staff and food great. Sweet drinks disappointing. Tasted like they were all sweetened by sweetener. Noise above below and beside our room annoying and frequent. Sounded like furniture moving and heavy walking feet. Wished their was more pool and beach sports. Pool water very cool

Moon Palace Cancun: Great golfing resort

Nice resort great golf course club house under construction but luis and staff did a great job getting people out on course on time 38 dollars cart fee reasonable reataurant staff very courteous woul go back

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Good for family!

Love this place, more natural and lots of things to do especialy for young families . Recommend this place to anyone who want to enjoy life, nature, a nice beach and different good restaurant. Service was good also and room, was nice (we had monkeys on our balcony)

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: 5 star experience!

Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to keep you happy. Very clean and great variety of restaurants, which you should book as soon as you arrive as they fill up quickly. The entertainment staff by the pool and for the shows are wonderful and if it rains, the spa pool is a great option.

This is the most beautifully designed hotel I have ever been to. The architecture is elegant, extravagant and inviting. The staff were gracious, kind and charismatic. There was so much to choose from everyday during the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. The à la carte restaurant were awesome. I especially enjoyed the Japanese and Italian. I was able to book an excursion at the hotel called Emotions. I would highly recommend this one if you would love to ATV through the jungle, zip line throu [... read more]gh the trees and end your day in a beautiful cenote. I will always remember my days in the sun, poolside, sipping Piña Coladas. Take me back!! I miss it already.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fantastic All Inclusive

Having traveled to many Caribbean destinations and different all-inclusive resorts, we found the Iberostar Paraiso Beach to be on of the best we have visited to date. The property is large, but due to the extensive vegetation, it was a pleasant walk from place to place. The golf carts are frequent and we could always grab a ride if we chose to do so. We enjoyed the food in all the restaurants and ate at 4 a-la-carte restaurants (the Steakhouse, the Japanese, the Mediterranean and the Mexican). [... read more] We also ate at the Taco restaurant and the Rock Star Cafe. The Beach Grill was excellent for lunches and the main buffet was fantastic for breakfast. We even tried the room service and our pizza arrived in well under the time they had given us when the order was placed. We found the grounds were impeccably maintained and the lighting up of all 5 of the resorts for Christmas was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and everyone spoke English. We enjoyed the pools and the beach, although beach chairs were a bit difficult to find at times. We enjoyed the golf course. It is a lovely course that is very well maintained. We would definitely go back to this Iberostar and we plan on visiting other hotels under this brand in the future.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Absoultely Amazing!

The resort is impeccable, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean, the service is unmatched. Food quality and service was a definite 10. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Very good resort

The hotel is very good. The service is amazing!!! We had an ocean view room and enjoyed every day sunrise. Every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly and helpful. The food was good. We liked the lounge room that worked 24 hours - good coffee machine, some snacks and if you'd like champagne, beer, vine. The beach is amazing , however, it's not possible to swim in the ocean at all due to strong under current and how fast it drops off.

Riu Flamingos: Excellent vacation

Everything was good to excellent from the food to the service provided. Not one bad thing to say about our 7 day stay at this fantastic resort. Great value for the money. Lots of activities for the kids to keep busy, nice layout easy to get around the resort, large property but easy to get anywhere relatively quick.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Beautiful resort

I had such a great time, the resort was clean comfortable, beds were amazing, the beach sand and surf was perfect. Lots of seating around pool. Great food and entertainment. And the best part the staff was amazing and friendly. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice, clean, resort

Hotel was nice, beds were comfortable, food was tasty, entertainment was fun. The only negatives, front desk and about 90% of bartenders, servers, seems to lack the value of customer service. The fact that housekeeping and hotel maintenance, such as floor tiles needing to be chiseled out, starts 8:30 am. So, we came, we saw, but will not be back again to this resort.
