Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great People
The following people really made a difference for us and enhanced our vacation. Tyrel at the Knife Yusheka, Kemara and Shawnie from Picasso Ramon and Trisha from the Buffet. Also a very special thank you to Krista at the outside lobby bar and Orlando from Entertainment. Wonderful people for sure. The building and property are great but we will not return to this resort due to what we and many others felt was poor management, but we wish the staff well.
Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Won't Return
This was not a fabulous experience and I can assure you, with all the choices out there, we won't be back. This was hardly al inclusive when many restaurants and bars were not included. Too many meals were buffets which were the same day after day. Too often the draft beer didn't work at many bars and the only option was to purchase another product. On two occasions the resort was out of ice. And one time out of vodka in all bars for half a day. Beyond all this service was average and the bea [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: dissapointing
We have stayed at many many hotels in the Mayan Rivera. By far this was the most disappointing. in a nutshell these were the reasons Restrictive beach access for Coba guests Large lack of chairs or loungers at pools no room service, not an option no poolside service for drinks no food at all available at pools cannot take any food out of the restaurants or buffet for consumption in room reservations at a la carte's almost impossible and very restrictive due to electronic [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent resort
Grounds are exceptional, service was very good. Good selection of food and there was always enough. Excellent coffee bar at this resort and the sports bar was a nice place to relax as well. The beach area was well maintained… The crews were out every morning early cleaning the seaweed from the shoreline. They did a great job. Also want to mention Kevin Dupuis from trip central. He was an excellent travel agent to book with… I highly recommend using him.
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Resort O.K
I went for the sun and beach and it didn't disappoint. This is my third time at this resort and will be my last. This time around we had the garden room, I was hoping to see tropical plants instead it was a parking lot. The room was clean but there are visible stains on the chairs and the cushions had a musky smell. The room was also very noisy and there were leaks in the hallway. I think that ash trays should be provided to people on the beach so they don't put their cigarette butts in the [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Big resort
This place is huge, lots of walking, lots of different pool & beach area's:). People are super friendly & happy. Food was ok. Ocean view room was spectacular:). Pillows were flat:( Bar fridge was nice:)
Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Resort was ok
Rooms were outdated , new pool , new sports bar and new dining room were very good staff was excellent .beach very good. But beer and liquor was late 3days,they ran out of bailey's cranberry juice, and other mixes. This resort should be down grade a half star . It is no longer a 5 star.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great place for a family vacation
We really enjoyed the pool and the beach was huge and lovely. Staff were always pleasant and worked tirelessly to keep the hotel clean. The main buffet always had a good variety of well prepared dishes to suit all tastes and ages. The beach restaurant had the best jerk chicken and I ate it almost every day. Don Pablo a la carte restaurant was by far the best of the three we went to. I had the duck breast and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Some reviews have complained that the hotel [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great food and entertainment!
We found this resort to be great for families. So much to do and see for the kids. Kind of felt like a week wasn’t enough time to do it all. The food was always fresh and a lot of variety. Staff are very nice and helpful. We had no issues during our stay. The only downside is that it is a bit older resort so the rooms seem old and could do with a refresh, especially the beds. I saw reviews about moldy carpets but I didn’t see anything like that. If you want to go to the a la carte restaurant [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Incredible resort!!
While we have stayed at the beautiful Bahia Principe property five times before at the Punta Cana section, this was our first time at Ambar and wow did it ever not disappoint!! We had the most amazing week with a great room, delicious food at both the buffet and al La cartes, fantastic service from everyone we came in contact with!! The pool bar servers, the staff at the buffet, Las Brisas and a La cartes, as well as the entertainment crew couldn’t do more to make our stay spectacular!! We [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Had better 4+*
The hotel is clean. Its outdated. The beach is mostly rocky bays. We were not impressed with a la carte restaurant that we cacelled our last 2. Bar did not have all the basic liquors and they didnt have any limes or mint. Staff said "not in season". Pools were nice. We had brought floating tubes and wanted to go around the pool but they are all blocked under the bridges. So you had to get out and walk to the next section of the pool. It was our first time at a 5*and we were expecting a little be [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Great resort and customer service
Loved the resort, the rooms are great, especially for families with children. The Buttler service is amazing, Areson was so helpful and friendly, he contributed to make our stay a great experience. The buffet and restaurants were also good, great food and the staff will accommodate your kids' needs anytime you ask them. The kids loved the water park and pool. All the staff is responsive and professional. Will be going back for sure!
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very good hotel
It was pleasure to stay in the resort beautiful beaches very good service delicious food clean room........................................................................................................
Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Good resort but no polite stuff at all.
pools always full, impossible to sit in the pool because the chairs are marked every day, the drinks are bad and made with porr quality , difficult to communicate with the staff because they don't speak any english, they did not fill the minibar, I spent 3 days without water to drink in the room and Etc.....
Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Not a luxury, not 5 stars ...I wouldn't recommend it, I think you can do better in this price range
Just came back from our holiday .... I start with the positive notes, excellent service at all restaurants, good guest service, good job on cleaning. We enjoyed our food at the buffet and la carte restaurants. Booking la carte was very easy. However, hotel rooms are in serious need for update. The room condition doesn't correspond with five star rating, I would give it 3 stars at the best. We had the most uncomfortable matrass we have ever slept on during our entire life. Matrass and bedding qu [... read more]
The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Amazing Resort!
Pros: The food was awesome, their Views were like heaven, Very kind staff, Buffet food was better than a la carte restaurants. The entertainment group was good. Cons: Small resort, just one pool, and one jacuzzi pool
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: the worst resort i have ever been to
this resort is a 1.5 star at best food is not good i did not eat all week line ups a buffett tables not cleaned one bar tender at pool were not able to book resturants nothing available we heard we had to slip the matre d a 50 american to get in in 45 years of travelling this is worse than a cuban resort the worst part of the trip was the attitude of staff could not speak to managemant as they were never [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great family resort
Hotel was dated but still beautiful , pools were fantastic , resort laid out very well , food and drinks were very good , not a great beach area but still nice and accessible. if your looking for night time entertanment it was limited but what they had was enjoyable.
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Would definitely go back again!
The resort was definitely Big!! We stayed on the luxury side (adults only) . Really no complaints! Food was awesome, better than any other resort. Rooms spacious . Staff friendly. We had an issue with our safe , called front desk and someone was there within 10 mins to resolve the issue. No issues getting chairs in the morning, but if you’re there too early in the morning they remove your towels. Sunsets are amazing! ðŸ˜
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Ahhh...could be better
Way too crowded Too many kids Not enough chairs Great food Rooms not so good Lots of mosquitoes Staff amazing Pools puss warm by 2 Hard to find peace and quiet Too far from airport Akimal much better
