Grand Decameron Panama: Royal Decameron Beach Resort

Compared to other resorts visited the Royal Decameron Resort is pretty much a 3 star. The resort is huge and on a hill so may not be suitable for folks who have mobility issues. There is a van service but I found it unreliable so ended up walking a lot. The rooms and overall the resort was clean and well maintained. There are several pools and snack locations. The resort staff that was to keep you busy pretty much did not run activities on time. After all the negatives - this resort was fine for the cost. The beach is great as are the views from your room.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: welcoming, comfortable, fun resort

We love the Royal Decameron. The grounds are beautifully groomed. The beach is fabulous - you can walk for miles and miles and play in the waves. The resort staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The restaurants are clean with great service and good food with lots of choices. The entertainment is like none other that we have seen in our travels in Mexico. 2nd to none, it feels as though you are at broadway anytime they put on a show. We also love that we can walk out of the resort into the cobbl [... read more]estone streets of Bucerias. The local bus route is a short walk up the hill and can take you into Puerto Vallarta. We have been there two times and are planning on more!! The hotel itself is older and doesn't offer fridges in the room and the safety boxes are an additional charge. The first time we went we were not 100% satisfied with the location of the room and RDC staff was very willing to change it for us.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Awesome resort!!

I stayed at Royal Decameron in both January and again in April 2014. I went back for a second trip because I loved it there so much. Grounds are kept nice, rooms are also clean and nice. Love the location and the staff are simply amazing. They have a super little disco/bar where you can party at night. No need to leave the resort. So much fun and it is a smaller resort so you meet so many people. Planning on going back again next year. Great resort!

Royal Decameron Salinitas: great bang for the buck

Nice hotel everything was great except we had a problem with the hot water. other than that everything was good. we really liked the beach area. Don't go around march 9ish too many students. pushes time share people avoid at all cost.

Grand Decameron Panama: Amazing Staff

Your staff were aware of our mobile difficulties and whenever they saw us they rushed to help, especially in the dining rooms. The suites were very clean and handy to everything, and the entertainment and service unparalleled..we received good value for our money. We love Panama

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: nice older place

good food good snorkelling clean relaxing place no "beach", lots of spaces to play good loc. near airport & strip. would go back for the right price but I enjoy a good beach, this place has everything but that, still go for the fun of it.

Royal Decameron Salinitas: Sunsets to die for!!

We traveled in January 2014 and had an amazing stay at the Salinitas ! The rooms were comfortable , the food was great , and we loved the service . Learn a few words of Spanish here, it will help you along. The shows were nice, but mostly just dancing every night . We climbed the volcano and did a fishing expedition . Caught 48 tuna in a half day - find Andrea she will hook you up. Don't miss the sunsets every night at the resort - amazing!! Oh and the massages are $35.00 need I say more? Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Excellent Value for the $$$

The Royal Decameron - Montego Beach is a fantastic place to stay. Surprisingly good and consistent food for an all-inclusive (great variety and constantly replenished), friendly and professional service, plain but clean and comfortable accommodations with spectacular views. Location can't be beat - 5 min. drive from the airport and an easy walk up the street if you want to get away for the resort or need anything.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Clean Resort, Great Staff

This resort while in need of an upgrade was very clean and comfortable, a la carte restaurants were very good. Walking distance from Bucerias and shopping. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very large Adult pool.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Will go back

Amazing little place compared to some of the large resorts I've been to. I stayed for 2 weeks and found little to whine about, service was good, as were the rooms....food was surprising good. Nice pool.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Very quiet and relaxing resort

The food was good, very clean resort, extremely quiet, good for couples. I do not recommend families, as there is no children activities. Parents will have to entertain their children. We went as a adult couple in a group and enjoyed this area of Mexico. We will travel here again. Recommend whale watching if you travel in January - February months. We enjoyed the sea life from boats only. The ocean is not safe to swim in, however, the pools are quite nice. Grand Decameron Los Cabos: fantastic resort

the staff at this resort were great.Go up in the morning to watch . whales just of shore.the gounds were well maintained ;food -very good;rooms clean and roomy enjoyed every aspect of this resort.walking the beach watching the baby sea turtles hatch and go back to the ocean was wonderfull would definitly go backExample: What did you think about  this hotel? Lots of bars, activities, good evening shows on many evenings, good wholesome food in outdoor restaurants. A la carte restaurants is the biggest downfall. Close to town. Nice to see Mexicans stay here as well, esp on weekends

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: beautiful resort

The grounds were always immaculate, the view was great, the restaurants were always clean and servers were very attentive. I would have liked some more selection at the a la carte. Housekeeping could have been better. Overall a great trip.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great for family reunions

Great value resort - our 80 year olds like their rooms near the pool & proximity to the bar, others liked the volleyball & walking to Bucarias. If you like to travel with family on a budget, the price is right.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Nice Escape

Entertainment was amazing! Great facilities. We watched whales and dolphins jumping right from the beach. This resort has a lot of potential but the biggest downfall in January 2014 was the staff. I can't remember any who had a smile and the last thing you want to feel like is an unwelcome guest while on vacation... Two in our party got very sick. Security was called over a freaking bun, they laughed at the server but EVERY service worker was now aware of the bun incident and gave weird looks.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: What a great time!

My partner and I were hesitant to go to Los Cabos but we had an amazing time. The food was ok but the staff were wonderful. The beach was nice and we got a bang for our buck. The whale watching was so much fun.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great quiet resort

This resort is very clean and great staff the rooms were nice. Had an issue with the safe that wasn't resolved as quickly as we would have liked. Good was good The resort is small so not a lot of food options but we enjoyed what we had. Drinks were great ! Good nightly entertainment. I would definitely recommend this resort and I love the area of Mexico.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great Location, Great Holiday!

This resort was small, but cozy! The space is well used, it's in a great location! Shopping right across the street and a short walk to more! Long length of beach to walk and although the beach is too rough to swim the pools are heated so its the best of both worlds. The activities staff were tons of fun, no problem getting chairs around the pool and the food was good - not great, but good! Not a great resort for families but a wonderful choice for couples!

Grand Decameron Panama: Great place for all!

A great resort with lots for all ages. Friendly staff and lots to see and do. The weather is perfect and the resort is clean and beautiful. The golf course is nice and the beach is long, you can walk for miles.
