Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Amazing resort that I wil go back to again and again

What we specifically like is that it is an in-expensive resort but still has multiple buildings, pools and restaurants. You don't get pool service or a fridge in your room, but we don't need that or want to pay for that. The grounds are cleaned frequently. Rooms are a decent size with all you could need including hairdryer, soaps etc. I like the yoga/stretch each morning at 9.00 on the beach. May need to get up early to book off a palapa for shade though. Two stores on site plus a medical centre. We also like that we can walk to local shops or a 20-30 minute walk into Bucerias for some deals and meals. Free non motorized water sports. Great beach for walking on. Staff are very friendly and work hard to please you. We also like the guests here, they are more down-to-earth people and friendly. Men do not need to wear long pants and closed toe shoes to the a la carte restaurants (thank goodness). Still look nice in a shirt and nice shorts and sandals. The A la carte booking is only from 8-9 am till full and you can book for the day of and the next day. The line was a little long at times but worth it to go to the various restaurants. Two buffets are also available. We like going to the Royal Decameron.

Riu Vallarta: Beautiful beach & delicious food!!

This resort was overall a great place. The rooms could definitely use an upgrade. We had to switch because on the main level the room smelled very musky but when we went to the 4th floor all was good! There's wifi throughout the resort unless you're on a high floor. Food was amazing!!! The beach was breathtaking, but be careful because my friend stepped on a sting ray at night by accident and it cost her $400 for the medication to heal it. All around we had a great group vaca!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Awesome place

The wedding was awesome every thing was set up perfect from start to finish .We had great weather awesome food and great people who serving us did a awesome job The resort had lots of great things to do and go for long walks on the beach Beautiful rooms that were kept extremely clean

Allegro Playacar: Great beach

Playa del Carmen is a great place to vacation the beach is beautiful and its a 20 min. walk to town. The resort was very clean and the staff friendly. The food was okay. Missing some Espresso machines so that people who dont drink alcohol can enjoy a latte etc.

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: amazing cycling

hotel was awesome...service was spectacular and food was delicious. The cycling along the ocean is amazing and very safe. The grounds are kept tidy and the entertainment provided on the resort was enjoyable. We were a group of 8 and everyone were impressed with the resort. We will be coming back again next year for the bike race and relaxation on the beach.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Had a great stay

Secrets Huatulco: Out of this world!!!

The hotel blew our minds! When we first drove up it was open and airy and check in was fast and efficient. Our bags were brought up to our room by the bell boy within 5 mins of us walking in. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The view was breath-taking, spanning the whole bay. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The food was amazing. The spa was relaxing and affordable. The atmosphere was enjoyable. We will definitely be back to Secrets in the future

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: Excellent Staff at the Sunscape Sabor Hotel

This is our second visit to the Sunscape Sabor Cozumel. A lovely resort with wonderful staff. There have been improvements to some of the restaurants which made our stay better. Very clean and nice grounds. Great entertainment.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Awesome Resort 👍

The resort was beautiful. Staff courteous and friendly. Our room was cozy with everything we needed. Food and drinks were great. We had an awesome holiday and will return for sure. I will recommend this resort to family and friends 👍

I have come here for many years now and year after the quality improves. Everything from the food, to the service, and organization. I would also like to express my gratitude to the food staff for the unique and fantastic food along with the waitressing/service team. Ramon was phenomenal. Also a huge thank you to Aurora, thanks to her I received a real birthday just exclusively for myself. One point of improvement would be for the hotel to know that it is the patrons birthday and to provide something special. As this would've made the great experience that much better. I would like to kindly ask for more lounge chairs. If you come after 10am you would be out of luck and would have to look elsewhere. The room service was great, always very clean and cleaned in a timely manner as well. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay for the 5th time in a row!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Pros and cons

My husband and I travelled November 7 - 17, 2017. Like any resort - there are pros and cons - depending upon what's important to you. Food - 10/10 - amazing food!!! Unlimited a la carte - there are 5 to choose from. The main buffet is clean, great staff service, lots to choose from - even a small gluten free section. Lounge - the a la carte lounge outside the restaurants - lovely to sit out side for a pre or post dinner drink and listen to live music. Great jazz!! Room - 9/10  [... read more]- clean and updated, bed linens changed daily - which feels like a bit of overkill - but I can tell you we appreciated it. Again great staff. Mini fridge restocked daily. Building concierge - 10/10 - Javier - what a great guy - remembered our names from day 1, spoke to us each day in passing - checked in to make sure all was ok. Free Wifi - 8/10 - spotty service, wifi code needed to be renewed about every 3-4 days, not a big deal - they gave out a new one without any questions. Only one free wifi pass per room. There is additional wifi available if needed for I think $3.00 USD/day. Pools - 8/10 - ongoing maintenance. The quiet pool for the first 5 days was awesome - then it went down for maintenance, but by that time another pool was re-opened. The spa and onsite gym looked great - we didn't partake in either. CONS Onsite timeshare sales - they will tell you they aren't timeshare - but they are. We went for the free spa pass - finally walked out after about 3 hours - never did get the free spa pass - didn't really care at that point. I recommend if you are not interested - just say no right up front - waste of a good portion of your day otherwise - and you've already paid for the 'free' breakfast they offer. Beach - 3/10 - not a great beach at all. We didn't go in the water at all. Hotel website - don't take anything on this site as gospel - they advertised free steam sauna - it's $50 USD per visit when you get to the resort. Overall - for us the pros outweighed the cons, we had a relaxing time and ate far too much!

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Better than last time!

The resort improved it's food, took away the annoying reservation system, improved it's shows and the show location. The beach and pools are amazing! Drinks and staff awesome. Only complaint: the rooms in the beach section are getting a little tired.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: stingray alert

Everything was great, except for the fact that I got stung by a stingray on the right big toe on the 3rd day. Was treated wonderfully, but after the first aid treatment, they demanded that I fork over $340 US for services rendered, even though I had purchased travel insurance prior to our trip. To make a long story short, the distinguished Manager of Guest Services actually threatened to call the authorities on us, as well as cancel our airline tickets and not allow us to check out of the hotel  [... read more]in a timely manner. They refused to deal with Air Transat insurance at all. Needless to say, We will never ever deal with that hotel again. Good way to do business and lose customers at the same time. Congratulations.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Awesome resort with wonderful guest to service ratio!

The View and exclusiveness of the resort was unparalleled. great open areas and many activities to choose from. lots of day trip opportunities as well from the location. if anything was questionable it would be the French restaurant and the room features. although the rooms were nice and clean they were less than a 5 star expectation. the rooms were just 'ok' in size and features. storage in the rooms was minimal and the bathroom was par only. overall the resort showed good value

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Great resort

The resort was very nice. The staff and entertainment were amazing. always something to do. Food was ok, always something to eat and appreciated the gluten free options. Resort was very accommodating with a late check out. Suggestion would be that they revamp the spa pricing. $200 USD for a 55 min massage WAY TOO MUCH. Then when we didn't book a massage, they offered a new price of $50 they day before we left. Should have given me that price in the first place, would have gone twice. Secrets Huatulco: Secrets Huatulco - Fabulous resort

Basically a tropical paradise and environmentally friendly. Pools are amazing, views breath taking. Food was good. Staff goes above and beyond. Nice restaurant selection. Beach was awesome - beware of undertow.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: AMAZING RESORT

V. The Resort is Amazing excellent food very clean room many pools all the staff are very friendly amazing entertainment. We are just disappointed about the beach butbthey have so many swimming pools.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Clean Friendly Resort !

Stayed at the Buenaventura from Oct 16- 23rd. Hotel is clean, small, easy to get around. Food was always great, lots of selection and usually hotter than other hotels I've stayed at. Eduardo is an amazing server for around the pool and beach. Our stay was made more relaxing by his excellent service. It is still a good 5-10 minute walk to get down town but people need to realize that the Malecon is a mile long after you get there. There was construction going on at the hotel for the entire week we were there, no major amount of noise but some walkways were blocked so getting around was a bit more inconvenient. There were 3 weddings during the week we were there as well. The weddings didn't over take the whole resort but it did make some areas off limits for the week. The lounge chairs by the swing bar were my favorite place. They are suppose to be adults only but not all parents read the rules so kids did come in a few times. Over all this resort is very pleasant. I would stay here again but I would also stay at other resorts farther away from downtown if the price were the same or cheaper.

Riu Santa Fe: Wonderful Resort

Hotel was very nice and very nice people working there. The a la carts were a little strange as you could not book ahead and most nights could not get in. Beach is beautiful but you cannot swim there.

Riu Emerald Bay: Fabulous

For people like us who love a bit of rough surf - this is the perfect spot - also great if you just want boozing & soaking in one of the pools. Great variety of food plus very comfortable & clean room.
