Riu Santa Fe: Very nice resort

The grounds are very well kept and were in great condition . The layout is big but very easy to get around and everything is laid out well . We stayed in building 2 and I thought this was a good location because it was not a lot of foot traffic in front of our room and we were closest to the beach and the main entertainment area and and not subject to any noise.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Huge, But amazing resort!

Very large, beautiful grounds, lots to do but it is not on the beach. They have trolleys to take you around the 4 resorts and to the beach. (20 min. walk from Building 17 which is the furthest building away!) Great food, lots of entertainment, most of the staff are friendly except for a few at the front desk! Excellent service in most restaurants. Pools are very large and clean. Rooms are large and clean but very damp.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: 3 star resort

Hotel was clean, buffet wasn't very good, long lines for reservations for the al a carts. The grounds are well kept, rooms are nice and clean. Location is really handy to shopping, banking and restaurants. Would only go when the price is low.

Grand Oasis Sens: Amazing Resort

The Pyramid Cancun: We were optimistic...but that was a mistake

Wow don’t know where to start and don’t want to waste your time. We were optimistic despite reviews we read but we should not have been. This is not a 5 star it is a 2. Been to Cancun many times and have never stayed at a worse place. In bad need of a renovation and service was terrible. Beware the number of bars and restaurants they list...most are not open and most are just buffet :(

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Relaxation and Entertainment!

My recent stay at Secrets Silversands was AMAZING!! If you just want to go and relax or if you want to be entertained all day try have that too! “Mini” pools surround the main pool for a quiet place to read and sun ( with poolside service!) Daily planned activities around the main pool and bars! The staff here is so friendly and do everything to make your stay super enjoyable. My only complaint was the location, great for beach walks but if you want to go into town and explore ( either Puerto Morelos, Cancun or Playa del Carmen) it is EXPENSIVE to get a taxi ( especially if there are just 2 of you)

9/10 Beautiful grounds, exceptionally friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful rooms Only thing I would say could be improved is if there was an entertainment theatre, I missed having that. Also beach was ok but water had very rocky and sea weed bottom which was a disappointment. Other than that, EXCEPTIONAL

Riu Palace Las Americas: Great vacation in Cancun

I really enjoyed my vacation in Cancun and it all started with an amazing stay at the Riu Palace Las Americas. Everything from the staff, the beach, the food & the location was perfect. I recommend it to anyone seeking a nice relaxing stay in Mexico.

Grand Riviera Princess: Great resort

This is my third year to this resort, it is very clean, the workers are always out cleaning the areas an grounds. The staff are very friendly, the food is great an there is plenty of it. The shows are very entertaining an love the market on Thursday evening has lots to offer at great prices. Has food on the beach as well as a BBQ one by the pools. If you feel like painting there is a ceramic hut as well. Lots of pools to choose from. The rooms are very comfortable but are showing their age. Have [... read more] to be very careful on the ceramic flooring when wet , wear the right footwear. Take a cab to Walmart as they have great prices. Had a great time an will be back for the forth time.

Grand Riviera Princess: FANTASTIC!!!!

This was our 3rd trip here in a row and we are considering a 4th. Amazing food. Grounds are beautiful and rooms are spacious. The biggest draw for us is the people. The staff treats you like family. Yes the rooms are aging but they are clean spacious. It is a large resort but the shuttles are constant. The nightly shows are great. There is a market on Thursday nights with local vendors which is a lot of fun. Shops on site are expensive but a bus or taxi into Playa is easily arranged an inexpen [... read more]sive. NYX Hotel Cancun: SMALL INVITING RESORT

THIS IS A SMALL RESORT, STAFF IS EXTREMLY FRIENDLY AND GOOD, FOOD IS GREAT BUFFET FOR BREAKFAST, MENU FOR LUNCH AND DINNER. BEACH IS VERY NICE, ROOMS WERE CLEAN,BARS MAKE GOOD QUALITY DRINKS, VERY QUIET IF YOU WANT TO RELAX NOT A PARTY RESORT.POOLS ARE SMALL. BUS STOP TO GO TO TOWN OR TO THE SHOPS ALMOST IN FRONT OF THE RESORT. BEACH IS WHITE SAND WITH NO ROCKS, CAN WALK A LONG WAY ON THE BEACH

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent resort.

This was our third time at Bahia Principe: Sian Kaán. Beautiful and relaxing. Beach was great and pool activities were fun to participate in. Food at the buffet is good and the Alux restaurant was great. Highly recommend this resort for adults and couples.

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: A great vacation at Now Amber Puerto Vallarta

We just got back from a weeks stay at the Now Amber Hotel. The hotel is extremely well kept, beautiful, clean and the staff are very professional and attentive. We stayed at the hotel a majority of our stay in Puerto Vallarta, as the kids really enjoyed the pools and beach. After a couple days of getting comfortable, it felt like home. There are lots of food options at the hotel including the Carnival buffet, An Italian, Asian-inspired, Mexican, and a Steakhouse. Our favorite was the It [... read more]alian restaurant. (Beef carpacio was the best part). All in all, the food was good, but nothing mind blowing. We usually didnt have any trouble getting seats. There was lots of activities at the resort that we used more so near the end of the week. Activites included: rifle shooting, volleyball, aerobics, yoga, kayaking, paddleboarding. There is a good kids club for the kids to particpate in many different types of activities daily. We got to participate in a baby turtle release during our stay as well. Great experience. The nightly shows were fun. My favorite was the Beatles show. As i mentioned earlier, the staff was great. The bartenders and servers were quick and remembered our names. The ladies at the coffee shop were very kind. The front desk staff helped me break down big bills in pesos down to smaller amounts for tipping. The cleaning crew did a nice job with our rooms daily. I definitely recommend this to families. If you want adults only, the partner hotel next door called Secrets is a good option too. You can go to any of the restaurants and shos between the two hotels.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Great value vacation!

Pros: 1) Updated, cool, clean, comfortable rooms. 2) Free decent Wi-Fi throughout the resort (Bravo - our connected society appreciates Iberostars progressive approach with free wifi) 3) Crazy wonderful, lush wildlife jungle setting. 4)Fantastic beach 5) Shaded palapas everywhere 6)Great location to PDC. 7) Excellent beach bar service (Diana) 8) Excellent room features, charging ports in wall plug, phone also was equipped with android cable, iphone lightening, old school apple charger, [... read more] and soeaker charger. 9) Snacks, well stocked fridge, and room service. 10 Excellent hospitality throughout Cons: 1) They sold out the beachfront on Quetzal side. No swimming on Quetzal side - closer to use RIU Yucatans ocean front to swim than to walk over to Tucan. Sold out a HUGE portion to jet ski, parasail, diver center, and snorkelling boats businesses. SHAME!!! Cut their area 75% and rope off boat lane - nothing was marked. 2) Smoking everywhere....disgusting while eating, or on a hot beach. Need a non smoking area....get with the times. Sandos next door has non smoking enforced areas. 3) Food got redundant (was plentiful, and tasty, but never changed much.) 4) Room service should change their times so it's available when restaurants are closed. (Late night early mornings) 5) Fish ponds surrounding buffets were filthy swamp pond scum that desperately needed cleaning the green algae 6) Blown speakers and super loud music in beach buffet....

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing resort

We just came back on Monday after spending a week family vacation at this resort. This place is lovely for a family with kids, we stayed at Daisy. The rooms were so clean and neat. The public areas so well maintained, the food was amazing the hosts were so nice and friendly. Smantha our host always would welcome us to the restaurant with a warm smile. The only problem is the service, I believe they need to train their waitresses. You would seat and ask for a high chair a few people until someon [... read more]e would have bring it to you. At the breakfast your coffee would will be delivered on the table at almost the end of the meal. My son 17 months old broke the reading lamp that was at the night table, i did report it to the housekeeping immediately and they did send a security to take a look at it, when the guy came he said that everything is ok, not to worry and would not be extra charges in our account, but unfortunately at the check pout they have to charge us $75USD I know that yes he did break it, but trust me it was placed at the edge of the table and it was such a cheap ceramic. The beach was so rocky very hard to swim. The evening shows were good, especially we enjoyed the circus, the players were amazing. I will definitely will recommend this place to families.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Can't Wait To Go Back!!

First time in Mexico and the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda really proved to me that I want to go back. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms, restaurants and even public bathrooms were outstanding - always someone going around picking things up or clearing the table. The grounds of the hotel were so well kept that you never saw garbage laying around and a night the paths were well lit so that you could take a stroll from the B&W bar to the beach and feel safe. My on [... read more]ly caution is that if you get an adjoining room and you don't know the people in that room - change rooms. You truly could hear everything and I mean everything. There were times at 5:30 AM that our neighbor would return with friends and I swore they were in bed with me.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Awesome Vacation

Beautiful place...plenty of room around the pools and beach. Staff were all great, friendly and accommodating! Some reviews complain about the walking but we found it really reasonable and no big deal. Lot's to keep you busy on and off the resort. Restaurants were all good with only little to no wait most times...general speaking the larger the group the longer the wait for tables. Don Miguel will need to come up with a new menu though...we tried every martini on the menu so they will need [... read more] to come up with some new ones for the next time we visit!!!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Love it

I like that it is in the middle of a conservation area, the service is excellent and it is very spacious, good atmosphere and the shows were spectacular. The bedrooms are a good size, but I would like the rooms to have ocean views. The most enjoyable things were the sky bar, the BBQ on the beach and the lazy river.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Perfecto

Staff is incredible, great resort. Food is above average. Had a ocean view and was worth the money, resort views are amazing. The two different main pools were nice for variety. The ocean and ocean pool are nice, rooms are clean and stocked daily. The resort is currently under construction but is supposed to be done soon so it will be awesome. Lots of walking and stairs but knew that coming in. Nothing to complain about so that makes a wonderful trip. The staff is top notch and help make  [... read more]a good place great. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Amazing resort

We just returned from a week there to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. I would like to thank my Tripcentral agent, Jack Gentile, for his help and guidance for making this trip a wonderful experience. I read people complained of seaweed and that the beach is rocky in some reviews - it only gets rocky outside the main swimming area and they do an excellent job of cleaning up seaweed. Our group of 6 stayed in the Emerald suites which are oceanfront. People in previous reviews said they couldn't see the ocean. All three of our rooms had beautiful ocean views, there is a lot of greenery but that made it more beautiful! The room was big & spacious & clean. The 2nd floor rooms had large balconies & the ground floor room had a big hammock! Other reviewers commented on the extensive walking required there - the complex is huge but they have golf carts that cart you around if you can't or really don't want to walk. The pools were fun - if we wanted action the big pool had lots going. When we wanted peace and quiet the lazy river pool had just that. Both had swimup bars with great drinks. The beach has a bar with swings as well as service coming to take your order on the beach. The food at all the restaurants was fantastic, they are very good at presentation! They were very talented with the special effects as well! The baked Alaska dessert in the French restaurant, the Japanese and Mayan coffees and the martinis at Don Miguel's! Especially the Imperial & chocolate martini & the cotton candy mojito! Yummy! They have a Mexican market on some evenings - nice things but a bit pricey (still bought stuff like painted bowls, glasses & jewellery). My husband's birthday was acknowledged in the daily schedule which is left in the rooms every night. They also brought him a piece of cake in the room and at dinner, they sang him Happy Birthday at dinner and we came back to the room that night to an artistcally created bday cake made from towels with rose petals on the bed! So cute! The concierge were very helpful in helping us organize excursions - we went to tulum & Coba, Chitchenitza, swimming with dolphins & snorkeling. We definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND this resort - you will love it! We hope to return there in the future!
