Riu Vallarta: Our Second time!

Just as the title reads my boyfriend and I made our second trip to Riu Vallarta and loved every minute of it! From the grounds, the food, the pools and the most important part THE STAFF they are the most hardworking, humble and friendliest! I’ve never been the type of person to go back to the same resort twice but Riu Vallarta completely changed my mind. My boyfriend and I can’t wait to head back for trip #3!!

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Great resort

More than satisfied with our vacation. The facilities, food, beach, room were all excellent. All personnel at the resort were very helpful and caring. Will return for another stay as soon as possible.

Riu Santa Fe: Great Resort- only picky people will complain about this place

We stayed at the Riu Santa Fe the last week of October. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the resort, it has everything you need. The rooms are great, fully stocked fridge and decent bed. Maid service was good as well, we ask for the maid every other day and always tip and had no issues with anyone tampering with our stuff. The pools are great , amazing view of the ocean and escarpment. Drinks are good, nothing to call home about but not watered down and made the way you like. The bartenders  [... read more]work hard to keep you happy. The food was good as well. Again, nothing to call home about but you will always find something you like. The people that say the food is bad are either extreme foodies or very picky and only eat burgers and fries which aren't good. The only issue we had is that only one a la cart restaurant is open per night even though they advertise that they have 4. You have to arrive right at 6pm to get a reservation for the night even though they say no reservations. The beach is swimmable depending on the day. One day the waves were 10 feet high, another day they were none existent. Use your judgement. I would advise to get a room in building 4 or 5 because you will be right in the middle of everything. Overall great experience at this resort and would go again.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: The most unusual hotel that we've ever stayed at - and that's not a bad thing at all.

This hotel is on huge grounds necessitating travel by golf cart trains that run every 10 minutes to several different locations, including the beach. At first I wasn't sure about this, but it was great once we got used to it. The grounds are extensive, as I said, but so well looked after! And we enjoyed seeing the iguanas, coatimundis and some that I thought were a type of capybara, but I think I'm wrong on that last one. One day, there was no hot water in our building of 10 rooms, but it was fixed by the time we returned to our room in the early afternoon. The beach is great for taking long walks and there are safe areas for families with their kids, or for non-swimmers like me. All the staff were a pleasure to deal with and we would come again in a heartbeat.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Outstanding resort

There were four persons in our party and we all agreed that this resort was one of the best we have stayed in. This was our first time at an Iberostar Resort, and plan to make it one of our regular locations (I assume the others are just as great). The grounds / landscape were lush and extremely well kept - there were always people working on the grounds.Great areas to walk around and explore!!! Our thanks to chef Octavio in La Pagoda -- made the best eggs ever - always , cheerful, polite and extremely helpful. Although it rained a few times, we still had a tremendous time - there was so much to do - the beach was amazing but even more so, we lost count of all the pools and the water features throughout - we applaud the architects / designers etc.for such an appealing plan...We were in Rooms 5269 and 5273, and our housekeeping staff (Frances) was outstanding - our rooms were always impeccable. I want to especially congratulate and thank the 2 concierge at our building - Julie and Karen - always cheerful, very professional, friendly and extremely helpful (what a joy to be greeted by such pleasant ladies who obviously loved what they were doing and made us feel welcomed and cared for. Julie even called a pharmacy off the resort to get some medication for me - they did not have it on site - had it delivered and brought to me ---thank you, thank you. The entire resort was fantastic, but Julie and Karen went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay memorable and enjoyable - and because of them, we plan to return as soon as we can. Our thanks as well to all the staff at the resort - obviously well trained, organized, friendly and helpful.. Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Wonderful family holiday!

Our travel agent was spot on in recommending this resort for our family vacation! We had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort!. The staff were all very friendly and eager to please. The food was delicious and plentiful. Eduardo, Carlos, David, and Jennifer were all very helpful and made our family vacation most enjoyable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but may plan future trips to avoid the "rainy season", as a sailing/snorkeling excursion to the island had to be cancelled d [... read more]ue to weather, and to no fault of the resort. The only negative aspects of our trip were that despite 5 attempts to contact the person responsible to assist us in using our trip central cash cards, no one was available, and we were not able to take advantage of these cards. We also attempted to purchase one of the luxurious bath robes...they were happy to take our money, but after going back and forth for about 12 hours, they finally told us they had no robes for purchase, and paid us back......in $1 bills.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing resort in Cancun

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Akumal Bay Beach wellness and spa

Amazing resort-2nd time around. great for snorkeling and diving. Far from airport, but worth it when you arrive. Lots of local restaurants to walk to. If you want to relax and enjoy the ocean this is the place for you. Not a partying place more so serenity.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: Absolutely perfect

A wonderful resort, excellent staff. Beautifully kept and maintained, the food and service excellent. .Catered our nephews allergy issues, our grandchildren had fun. We will definitely be back Restaurants were amazing, shows worth seeing

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Royal Hideaway Playacar

This was our 4th stay at this property since it opened. I have the said the quality has gone down - room quality (dated, door lock falling apart, jacuzzi bath not usable ...). Food quality and reduction is staff like no concierge are examples that contributed to a disappointing stay.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Good resort

The resort was nice. Food was ok. Didn't like that I had to take an elevator to get to the beach. Not enough going on for kids. They had a kids club but more geared to little ones. My kids being 8 and 10 were bored by day 3. Rooms where clean, service was great. People were great. Also didn't like that the rooms didn't have a dresser clothes everywhere for a week.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Outstanding resort

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this resort. All the restaurants were amazing, staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Rooms large and always cleaned and fridge restocked when necessary. Pool games and staff fun...Would return in a heartbeat

Barcelo Maya Palace: Wonderful resort at Palace

The whole layout of the resort was exceptional with nice paths for running and gyms. The resort was full capacity but didn't have to wait for anything as was spread out. The food and service was excellent at the Palace restaurants. Buses were helpful in the bad weather between areas...and there was lots of bad weather. The beach wasn't extremely long but ok for walking.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Lots of changes

Hotel still nice but they no longer have casino but still advertise it and took a $600 us dollars deposit on credit card and said they'd credit it back on check-out day they didn't and now I have to file dispute against the hotel with credit card company. The bar rail isn't refilled daily anymore and they expect you to make a 26 ounce bottle to last the entire stay. Very disappointing to pay top dollar and get sub par services.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Excellent Resort

Loved everything about this resort, the beach is clean sand with crystal clear water, the pools are fantastic, nice selection of restaurants with excellent food and the room is modern and big. Highly recommended.

Beloved Playa Mujeres by Excellence: It's My Pleasure

The Beloved Playa Mujeres is an awesome adults only resort. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is great Service is amazing Food and drink served on the beach Great relaxing resort very quiet Must go for anyone looking for a low key but awesome Luxury resort experience

Moon Palace Cancun: Loved everything!

Was so good, we got membership. Recently married so couldn't afford anything higher than the smallest package. Already planning next trip to one of their resorts. Food was great, service was amazing, room was beautiful.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Large Resort

The resort was large not much to do. All the advertised activities are at an additional fee. The resort does not accept cash anywhere not even at the stores/shops. The food is a serious disappointment. The food is holding this hotel back from a fourth or even fifth star. I would not return.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Very Good Resort

We stayed in 1200 Block or Rooms on third floor, close to pool and beach, and really not far away from anything. Room overlooked pool, but view blocked by foliage, and had two DOUBLE beds, which we found was pretty tight. Room overall was clean and nice. Greeted several times by monkeys walking across balcony... Dad, Mom and baby. Fine for us, but not for everyone, they were pretty bold, even tried to grab something off our table. A variety of wildlife on grounds, flamingos, peacocks, agou [... read more]tis, parrots and iguanas. Good alcohol brands and beer (light and amber Dos Equis). Always something to eat, although not spectacular. The a la carte restaurants were good, but not a great deal better than buffet. We ate at Japanese, Mexican and the Steakhouse, with the Steakhouse being the best in our opinion. Recommend the top sirloin. Beach was fantastic! Pool was nice and warm, with physically separate swim-up bar, which was nice. Not too much difficulty getting a lounger anywhere. No disco or after hours activity, if you are looking for that. Lots of families at the resort. Overall, happy with this resort and proximity to Playa Del Carmen. Would stay there again.

Riu Flamingos: Amazing vacation!!!

I was a little skeptical when I first booked our vacation as I had never booked an all inclusive vacation online before. Our agent Jack was very helpful and always kept in touch with us to make sure everything was okay. He even gave us a call after we came back from Puerto Vallarta to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Really appreciated that!!. Anyways back to our vacation, we had a shuttle pick us from the airport and drive us to the resort which was about a 20 min bus ride. The check- [... read more]in was spot on as the front desk had everything ready and waiting for us. The hotel is not that big but perfect and we had a really good view from our room as we could see the pool area and beach from our balcony. The food at the buffet was great and the A La Carte restaurants were great too especially the steak restaurant by the beach. The nightly entertainment was great as well especially the Michael Jackson show. We also did a couple of excursions, one was the city trip with a visit to the tequila factory where we got to sample 7 different tequila flavors. We also did the snorkeling excursion through Vallarta Adventures which was excellent especially the crew on the boat were very friendly and entertaining. We had such an awesome time on this excursion. Overall the trip was wonderful and we had great weather in Mexico. We would definitely visit again.
