Grounds - Very well kept Room - Clean and well appointed. We loved the swim-up suite. Food - great selection. At times a little bland. Noise level - at times we found it a bit noisy (pool & evenings)

This resort has many positive notes: Airport transfer was easy Grounds and rooms were great Food was hit and miss, while there was the usual buffet for breakfast and lunch the food teperature was below where it should have been and was borderline cold Dinners were also hit and miss, some were better than others but overall was acceptable, with exception of sports bar where we had the best meal! Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Resort

Hotel was amazing Staff were always on the job making sure that the pool areas, Walkways were kept clean and tidy Food at the Buffet restaurant, delicious. The hotel lobby area is very large and can handle the quantity of people on the resort which is not at all noticeable. There are so many plus signs for this property and no negatives in my opinion We are definitely going back again

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Paradise!

Spent a week at Bahia Principle Luxury SK. From getting off the shuttle in the lush grounds of the resort, to entering my room, eating at the buffet (after a long day of not eating), and then relaxing by the pool on that first day, I knew that the week was going to be nothing but amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the a la carte restaurants and the buffets had an abundance of delicious food, which appears to cater to everyone's taste. The pools were kept clean, the  [... read more]beaches were attended to by the staff in an effort to clear up the influx of seaweed, and the activities were fun and entertaining (especially the Silent Disco). I have no negatives to say about the resort and plan to go back again very soon.

Every thing about this hotel was great. Grounds were well kept. Staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms were cleaned well every day. Restaurants that we went to were really awesome. Food in buffet was great.....

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing resort!

The grounds are very well kept and maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very good entertainment and they have a live band every night. The food was awesome, a lot of variety at the buffet (Lobster available on Thursdays). A la carte restos really good, just make sure to book early enough as they tend to get booked fast. Make sure you look for the Bahia Principe village, it's a hidden gem for shopping ( a lot cheaper then the stores in the hotel lobby), and they have a store that sells au [... read more]thentic Jamaican patties(super delicious).

Totally relaxing vacation,waited on in every area.Wonderful staff,and beautiful surroundings.Love love love flying out of Hamilton makes travelling so much easier,second vacation of the year,3rd is booked for July going for 4 hopefully in Nov.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Resort-Travel to and from not so...

Pool is great with lost of entertainment and activities. Beach like a lot of the area is dealing with endless weeds and beach erosion..not usable.The staff are friendly and talkative at most of the times. Food is very good with a large variety and dinning areas are always clean and spacious. Travel to resort which is about 96 km away took 3 hrs+, as bus stopped at 4 resorts as well as waiting at airport for 50 minutes for travellers that never showed up at bus. Travel back to airport took 4  [... read more]hrs for a 96 km trip..a daytime nightmare!! arrived at airport 30 min before boarding schedule. A 9:00 am bus pickup for a 2:00 flight. Again part due to stops, traffic issues and guest not showing at arranged pickups. Be aware as this adds up to a about 2 days gone from a vacation. If we were to do the same resort again, we would look at private shuttle direct to resort/airport...with out the wait or stops. Be worth the dollars to eliminate stress and frustration.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Incredible first time experience

Wonderful experience at this resort! It was my first time going to an all inclusive and I finally 'get it'. We had a wonderful time. The grounds were beautifully kept, with lots of plant and animal life around. The hospitality was exceptional, people were very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern, AC worked great. Food was decent and readably available and there were always activities happening. I liked that there was access to other nearby resorts too but Tulum was by far the best.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Adults Resort

The Ambar is a great option for couples of all ages to go and relax, have great food, cocktails and atmosphere. The beach is beautiful with lots of sun and shade options. The pool is well equipped with a centralized swim up bar, fountains and plenty chairs and umbrellas. Nightly entertainment is the tame for the Ambar guest but with access to all the Bahia Principe resorts on site, you are a 5 minute stroll to other events at the market, casino and sister resorts. Favourite restaurants were MEAT [... read more], LIMBO and Portabello Italian. Great pasta, steaks, seafood. Appetizers, and pretty decent cocktails. The lobby bar makes excellent drinks and the coffee bar was a nightly occurrence for some Spanish coffee. The sports bar was fun to shoot a game of pool, listen to music and grab some wings and cheese sticks. There is a Hendricks bar on site, although we didn’t take advantage of it. I think this is extra? The rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The room came with a stocked mini bar which is free. The maid service would restock daily as required. The main lobby restaurant has great options for breakfast, lunch or dinner and the staff were all very eager to make sure you were having a good time. Daily Mimosas and Caesar’s are at the ready as you enter the restaurant. The beach restaurant has amazing pasta dishes, salad bar etc. Staff were all very friendly. The Ambar is the most updated and beautiful of all the Bahia Resorts on site.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great trip!

We had a great time at Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville. Check in and out was quick and easy and everyone at the front desk was super helpful. Rooms were very nice and clean. Food at all the buffets and a La Carts were amazing. Resort grounds and pools were very well maintained. Special thanks to the following staff for making our trip even better. This is our second time. Resort was even better then in 2019. No Covid virtue signalling or theatrics. The specialty dinning was amazing. Lots of evening activities. A great vacation. Beach was excellent, very minimal seaweed end of March. Service was excellent.

The Hotel is huge and things are spread out, which took a couple of days to get used to, we were on the Luxury adult only side had a separate gym which was lovely, had butler service so that we could get fresh coffee when we woke up, The pools were super nice, beach was nice and relaxing, even though it is very shallow, so not ideal if you like to swim, found the Service was good as a whole some better than others, always clean rooms etc, definitely reccomend the resort, I would go again for sur [... read more]e, only negative was that they did not have any non alcoholic beer, but probably all of these resorts would be the same story, as people normally go and enjoy their beverages.

The pool was nice. You have to get a spot early though. By 9am all the pool chairs were taken. The beach is a far walk..10 mins. The beach is broken down by hotels (Bahia has 5 resorts on the property) lots of algae and the loungers were up on a slope from the sand. It was a strange set up and would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. there were lots of a la carte options. Some were good and others were average. Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Excellent Vacation Spot

The resort was beautiful in every way. The grounds and beach were groomed impeccably. Loungers and tables at the beach and around the pool were cleaned everyday. The food was awesome. So many choices and always presented and prepared to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to be genuinely happy that we were there. Every effort was made to make our vacation totally stress free.

I contacted Trip Central re: March Break 2023 vacation I got in touch with Monique, who had exceptional suggestions within my price range We were not disappointed, the food, pool, beach, entertainment @ Bahia Principe Grand el Portello in Samana Dominic Republic was beyond our expectations Just 1 minor hiccup, we were booked for 8 days, 7 nights, however, because of delays with Air Transat, we ended up staying 7 days, 6 nights

The major problem is communication. We specified on many occasions we needed a specific area / room / floor for our father, the entire family (9 people) had to move twice, except my family who had to move 3 times from Friday to Monday. This was disappointing. The Italian restaurant service was slow, and I mean, we were there for 90 minutes and that was because we started to ask for things, the food, coming from an Italian backround, wasn't the greatest either.
