Riu Palace Aruba: Amazing Resort

This hotel is amazing, very family friendly , clean and well kept. I would 100% recommend this hotel! The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming! Food and restaurants are all amazing and very clean!

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing!! No need to leave the hotel, it's all there!

Riu Ocho Rio is paradise with a cherry on top! The location is extremely clean, lots of spacious seating with the best entertainment and tasty food. Vacationing over the long weekend (National Heroes Day) and they incorporated elements that visitors could enjoy and be educated. The beach was clean and secluded with lots of seating and no vendors. Riu Negril: Lovely ,Relaxing resort

The rooms, grounds and restaurants where very clean. Staff was wonderful. Everyone friendly and helpful. It was nice to be in a resort where everyone spoke English. Entertainment was goodi have stayed in a Rui resort before and I would return again.

Riu Negril: RIU Negril

We really enjoyed our stay there. The grounds were clean and well kept. Rooms were large, well appointed and clean. Comfortable beds. Pools were great. Nice beach. The restaurants were good and we enjoyed the food in all of them.

Riu Flamingos: Exceeded expectations: a fun and excellent resort!

We generally found the resort excellent! The requested type of room at the resort was granted to our three different parties and was very nice. Well kept for us. The resort is beautiful and charming, in a striking setting in the Bay of Banderas surrounded by mountains, with many multi-generational Mexican families coming and going: we really enjoyed this aspect. Located on a beautiful beach on the Bay of Banderas, the bay waters coming in from the Pacific Ocean are warm enough and often gentle enough for swimming. We enjoyed two weeks of beautiful sunsets. Through Nexus Tours, we booked a private four-person full-day tour of Puerto Vallarta ... its many zones and neighborhoods as well as a visit to a tequila factory: informative and we certainly enjoyed tasting the different tequila products! If our approach was not to go to new places and try new situations, we would without hesitation return to the Riu Jalisco.

Riu Reggae: Riu Reggae 3.5*

The Resort was a perfect size. Rooms were clean, staff was nice. Food was good, but would be better if they switched up the menus once in a while. It seem to be the same foods everyday. Plus the food was not hot, sometimes even cold. The Hotel Grounds were ok, they didn't pick up garbage in the gardens and grass often. Not pretty. They only cleaned the Beach/Pool washroom in the morning, so needless to say they were dirty and no toiled paper or hand soap. Everything else was kept fairly  [... read more]clean.

Riu Dunamar: Enjoyable stay even during rainy season

We travelled October 8-15 which was reportedly during the rainy season in Mexico but we were not inconvenienced by weather at all. The rain lasts for very short bursts and the increased winds were refreshing with a humidex of 36. The resort was busy but at no time did we struggle find a seat by the pool or the beach, there was prompt service at the bars, restaurants and front desk. There was a wide variety of food even for a very picky eater like myself and we ate mostly at the buffet. The only  [... read more]challenge was the restaurants were first come first serve so if you did not show up when they opened it was an extremely long wait. The maître de had some challenges with the reservation list and because we are not pushy we were passed over until it was more than 30 minutes past our projected wait time of 1 hour. Riu Republica: Amazing 18+ resort for ages 18-40

This hotel was great for me and my girlfriend It was definitely more of a party resort with around 75% of the guests under age 40. Something was always going on and nightlife was great. Would return!!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Very nice resort

Everything was beautiful, right down to the restaurants, living spaces, bedrooms, bars etc. I would highly recommend this resort to anybody else in the future. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Riu Palace Antillas: Incredible!

Fantastic staff, SUPER clean, great food and beautiful beach! 10+ For Us! Five minute walk to downtown Noord. Could not be more pleased with our vacation experience at the Riu Palace Antillias! Riu Playa Blanca: Amazing Resort in Playa Blanca

From the moment you walk through the doors, the lobby hints at what's in store. From the decor, to the amenities all very lovely. The rooms are minimalist with basic King bed, two chairs and table. Lovely bar with Vodka, Rum, Gin and Brandy with a selection of softdrinks, beer and water. Very clean and replenished every 2 days. It was very nice to have an adults only pool with no children allowed.

Riu Cancun: amazing resort !!!

Yes, it is an amazing resort. See the valuation below. Beach, Food, Service, Room, Poll and everything was very good. I will come back for sure. The location is perfect and the beach is amazing... It will fulfill all yours expectations.

Riu Playa Blanca: Amazing Rexort

The grounds were immalucate, the staff were professional , the rooms were clean can't say enough good thing about this resort. The beach was a bit disappointing but was expected. The food was out of this world , lots to choose from.

Riu Palace Jamaica: Very poor beach

Beach certainly wasn’t how it looked in their pictures. Very rocky on the way to the beach and only 15 feet of shallow water before you get to the muck. That was only the bad part other than the weather. Food, service and staff we all top notch. Room was good with a large shower area. Very close to the airport.

Riu Negril: Fantasy Island

Entire hotel experience was just as expected , superb.Grounds were very well cared for and groomed regularly. All but the beach which was horrible. Not used to that , but mother nature had something to do with that. Beach was eventually cleaned up the day before we came home. Room was cleaned daily and had zero issues Bed was excellent as well. Food was on another level as buffets were something from Fantasy Island. With multiple selections of everything , twice daily. Only had 1.5 days of  [... read more]rain thankfully. Riu Ocho Rios: Everything you Need

The Riu Ocho Rios is a perfect blend of everything you need to have a perfect vacation. Food is plentiful and flavourful, staff are happy and fun, beach is large and entertainment leaves you with with wholesome laughter. Glow party is a MUST!!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great times at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas

We enjoyed 2 weeks at the Riu Palace. The people working there were always cleaning, working, and taking care of the hotel and the grounds and it showed. The hotel was excellently taken care of. The two large pools provided quiet times in one and activity in the other, we preferred the quiet side. Our pool waiter Berezain was excellent giving us drinks and talking with us making us feel like at home. The main buffet restaurant was large and had a great variety of food for breakfast and supper [... read more]. Our favourite waiters Allix and Meno gave excellent service. The alacarts were good and our favourite was El Medano, our steaks were tender and tasty. The rooms are well kept and maids gave us great service with towel friends left for us to enjoy. Any issues with the room was taken care of quickly. Overall the resort is huge and busy but we were still able to find a lounger at 11 am. The iced coffees at capuchino were great at the end of our day. We give the hotel 5 stars!

Riu Montego Bay: Terrible resort

Very disappointed. Staff were unfriendly. Food was terrible. Same thing eery day lunch and dinner. All fried food. Over spiced. No real selections. 3 days of no rolls or fresh bread. Very little to choose from salad bar fruits and deserts. Entertainment poor. Nothing to do there. Beach was poor

Rooms - There isn't any privacy if your room is shared Restaurants - The buffet has better meals than the main restaurants . The food should be a bit more than room temperature Alcohol tastes different from North American alcohol. When it comes to the excursions, more details should be provided.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Top Notch!!

We have travelled to plenty of resorts In The Riu chain. This is our 2nd time at Costa Mujeres Riu Palace. Very clean, staff was lovely especially Naïm in the buffet and Alejandro who kept our room perfect. The beach is wonderful but could certainly use some more shade options. The pools are great. Even though it was busy there was always a spot to sit and we didn’t feel crowded at all. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss this time. Better when we were there in October.
