Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great Resort

Nice new clean resort less than year old. The staff are excellent great service always cleaning and trying to help you one of the best things about the resort. Food was very good especially the steakhouse. The sports bar also really good but small portions best buffet I have seen in my travels. Mini bar was restocked every day. Had an excellent view from ocean view room. Great waiter service at pool and also at the beach. Haven Riviera Cancun: Rest and relaxation standard!

Stunning grounds and accommodations, this resort is absolutely gorgeous. I was a little dismayed by the lack of a buffet option for a lighter dinner option but otherwise the food was impeccable. Activities were limited but if you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place to do it in style!

Zoetry Villa Rolandi Isla Mujeres Cancun: Fabulous Location!

There’s literally not one thing I can complain about Zoetry resorts.. Its amazing! Especially this one where you’re on a island. Foods great, drinks are top shelf; staff is fabulous. You’ll have a great experience!

Paradisus Cancun: THE PARADISUS CANCUN NEEDS AIR CONDITIONING IN THE MAIN BUILDLING, VERY HOT!

No air circulation in the main building, they need fans to keep the air moving, no air-conditioning in the main building. The outdoor restaurant was so hot that you couldn't enjoy your dinner. 4 restaurants were closed for renovations, only 2 restaurants with air conditioning, the rooms were very warm, could no get the air conditioning to go any lower. Beautiful building and excellent service and food, but way too hot in the resort!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great resort

Great newer hotel, good selection of restaurants. Great pools. Swim up room is more of a mini private pool . Only down side is distance to excursions, about an hr from Cancun and 2.5 to 3hrs total to atv ziplines and ruins.

Riu Cancun: Really great experience, first class treatment!

This hotel was splendid, with one of the best service staff and amazing restaurants throughout the resort. The guests were all very friendly and social, and the bars are designed to keep the party going and keep the resort lively! I can't wait to go back to Riu Cancun again!!

Riu Cancun: Amazing time and amazing resort!

The resort was incredible and the booking with Nephilene was so easy and she was helpful all the way leading up to our trip. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Doable.

I stayed at this resort for five nights. I selected it because it was indicated as a five star resort. The staff was great the resort was clean but it wasn’t a five star. Also, it’s really not for solo travellers.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful new resort; not too large. Rooms were nice and clean and only a few min walk to pool/restaurants. Only complaint is that the bath tub is right beside the bed and shower area open to the room (not the best when sharing a room for privacy). Some rooms have pull out couch which was great for kids not having to share beds. The "Double" beds are not true double (seemed smaller) but is big enough for kids or 1 adult to sleep comfortably. Italian was good, Fusion was the best! Did not try Japanese or steakhouse. Enjoyed having the lunch bar near the pool, if you did not want the buffet you did not need to go far for delicious food (my Husband said the burgers were the best he has had in a long time) and the Guacamole was amazing!!! Pool bar service was amazing! Server was checking on you frequently and very friendly Multiple pools was wonderful and having 2 swim up bars was nice. There is a separate activity pool so if you wanted to participate you would and if you wanted to relax or stay at the bar you were not disturbed by the pool activities/parties. Foam party is a must attend! Waterslide park is only a few steps away and greatly enjoyed by all in our group (young and old) Beach was beautiful and loved how some sections offered shade for the kids to play and you should still be in the sun if you wanted only a few feet away.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Amazing Resort!!!

Gounds are beautiful, food is amazing, staff are very friendly and ready to assist when needed. Rooms are basic; however, its clean. I mean you don't go on vacation to to stay in the room, so can't complain. I love that there was no pest/bugs, so that gets a thumbs up from be. I will definitely visit again. It also helps that almost every guest I spoke to was a returning guest. One guest I think he said his name was Paul, had been there 37 times 😳. But that goes to show you how welcome and at home the staff makes you feel.

TRS Coral: Beautiful Resort

We stayed in room 2346 (building 2 floor 3 room 46), a Loft Suite that faced the pool with a great view of the ocean. We would highly recommend a Loft over a Swim-up Suite as we spent our days at the pool or beach before heading to our room for a relaxing soak in the balcony tub before dinner. The service was excellent throughout the week at all the restaurants and bars we visited. The only reservation we made was for La Boheme just to be sure that we got in as it was our Anniversary. The staff  [... read more]are very friendly and helpful, the food is good to very good and you can get top shelf liquor on the TRS Coral part of the resort. We used room service once for lunch and once for dinner, it arrived about 5-10 minutes ahead of when we were told and was at a good temperature. There is no need for a private transfer as we were the only ones going so we went directly to the resort.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Incredible Resort!

Grounds are in pristine condition, there are people cleaning constantly and the food was amazing (with the exception of the Japanese restaurant). Lots of swimming options for both adults and kids and lots of opportunity to take part in different activities! Overall, we were very happy with our destination decision!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great Family Resort

Everything was top notch - very clean, friendly staff - so many food choices at all meal times. Nightly shows were awesome. Foam pool party was a blast. Only negative think we found was that some of the services for the spa (hot tub etc) were only available at the Dunamar property. Also, not a lot of things to do for teens. Pool tables etc were again only at the Dunamar property. Only had a ping pong table at the Palace. Water park was so much fun too!

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Family Selection gets 10 on 10!

We just got back from a one week vacation at the Family Selection Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres! Our 2-Storey room was simply gorgeous, clean and spacious! All the staff were authentically caring, fore coming and friendly! Service on the beach was quick and Ruby and Michael spoiled us all day long. Michelle and Fernanda, our concierges, could not have done a better job! They are exceptional! Sandos Cancun: Great staff, Great beaches, Great resort!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The Staff were always so nice and willing to help us enjoy our stay to the utmost. There was always one event or the other organized in the evenings to keep you well entertained, and the food was awesome too. There was a Japanese and an Italian restaurant with a la carte, as well as the regular restaurants with mexican style and international style food offerings. This was a nice hotel however it was way too large and complicated to get around. Pools were nice. Nice beach. They were under renovation so restaurant choices were not so good. They had a lot of stairs to use and not all had railings

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Amazing resort

This was our first time at Dreams Playa Mujeres in Mexico. We had an amazing time! The resort/rooms were modern, clean and spacious. We vacationed here the last week on October and we’re pleasantly surprised that the Resort was not busy(it’s was their low season) it felt like we had the resort to ourselves...no line ups for anything! Would definitely go back and/or try other Dream destinations! **Be aware that once you are checked in you will be asked to sit in on and encouraged to sign up for their unlimited vacation timeshare type deal....just say no unless of course you’re interested.

Grand Park Royal Cancun: Excellent hotel - terribly pushy timeshare people

We have been to Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe 3 times now, once in 2014, again in 2018 and recently last week. The hotel, grounds, food, drinks etc are all top notch. Lots of drink selection, you will never go hungry with the delicious food they have. The wait staff, bartenders, room attendants, and front desk folks are all extremely nice and always have a smile on their face. From this perspective, you can't go wrong with the resort... However, there is a serious problem with the "Royal Hol [... read more]iday" timeshare 'slingers' at this resort. You can't walk from your room in the main part of the hotel to the bar, coffee/ice cream shop, buffet without being hounded by the multitude of timeshare sellers that work there. They claim 90 minutes of your time spent with them will net you some "souvenirs" and tequila, however, we have been warned by many people including Transat, Air Canada and Sunwing reps that this will completely eat into your day. They don't mention the 4-5 hour resort tour they take you on after the presentation. If you don't mind standing your ground with these 'clowns', the resort is a beautiful place and well worth visiting. If you are not looking for confrontation, I highly suggest going elsewhere to spend your hard earned cash.
