Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing place

I’ve travelled for 20 yrs at least two times a year some times three ! I have to say hands down beautiful resort food amazing and drinks staff had the best experience I will be back to that resort ! I’ve told all my friend ! I had the best time ! Will be back with a group this time ! Over all hands down best resort I’ve ever been too !

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Ok resort

Upon arrival we were checked in pretty quick. When we got to our room, I was so disappointed. The rooms look much nicer online. We had booked the Romantic Bayview Suite Sun Club. The room was basically a king bed, TV on the wall & a stand with a coffee maker on it. The only thing nice about the room was the view from our balcony. The balcony was huge but only had a small wicker table & 2 chairs. Went down for supper at the buffet & it was ok. The best place we ate was at the Barefoot Grill by th [... read more]e pool. The room service menu sucks! There are only a handful of things on it & nothing appetizing. We ate at the Italian restaurant one night & it took an hour for my husband to get his appetizer which was soup. It was a 2 hour dining experience. Food was good though.This is a good resort for families looking for a reasonable get away. It is not worth it to upgrade your room or get the Sun Club. Would we go back, I doubt it. The old saying you get what you pay for rings true with this resort. In saying this, the staff are extremely friendly. Cannot complain about that at all.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Perfect for a solo Vacation or with Others

My first impression is that this hotel is crazy colorful. It’s a massive resort with I believe 5 different areas. I came here for a relaxing solo vacation and that’s exactly what I got. I happened to have a room right by the adult only pool which was amazing. It’s not even a 10 minute walk to the beach. They have a variety of restaurants that you can make a reservation at but you have to wake up very early and I just couldn’t be bothered. So I only ate at the buffet, nothing too impressi [... read more]ve there. But I also have a very restricted diet so chances are it’s just the stuff I could eat that was bland, so who knows. All of the staff were very nice, some remembered me at the buffet which was nice. I got stung by a wasp and right away they brought me ice and was worried whether I was allergic or not even when I said I was fine. Over all it was a lovely experience, I’ll definitely come back.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Dreams Puerto Vallarta

The hotel was very clean and very accomadating. The staff was excellent especially Circio,and Angel,Paco,Marcos and Emmanuel at front desk and Iseral was also very helpful. The pool was very clean and not crowded and the wait staff was very attentive. The evening shows were very good and the Italian Restaurant was amazing.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great Vacation at Mexico

Our 2017 vacation start from booking with TripCentral at Square One Sopping Centre. Thanks to Bill Gentry for helping us book on this hotel that I choose from their book. This is our first time in Mexico, and it was a great vacation I would say. We stayed at Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda. This hotel is great to stay, very relaxing, it has a very good scenery, some creature around, like Koatis which are very cute. Mexican, and Steak house is my fav. At a buffet they have different theme every night. Service are good and staff very helpful and very accommodating to all the tourist. Even if you do not give them tips every time you have your meal. At the end you will have no choice to give them some $ as their service is really great. The weather is great too even if it was raining for two days before we left. I though it was still great as there was time to just relax in your room. Lots of sleep. Room was just nice size, it is being clean everyday and most of all linens smell fresh everyday. Unlike the last hotel we visit in DR. Linens are smelling mouldy and sweat. Pool area is spectacular, activities are also great. If you love to swim on the beach though this is not the place for you. Beach is smaller and feels muddy under water. Mean sleepery, the water is brown sometimes. Some other day, it is okay. Still great in general. Thanks again to Juan, Miriam, ( staff that wait by the beach buffet). And again to Bill Gentry from Trip Central at Square One Shopping Mall Location. I would definetely come back to have him book our next vacation. Secrets Playa Mujeres: Resort was good

Overall the hotel was average. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The pool was nice but pool chairs were dirty. The beach had alot of seaweed so not really nice for swimming. The food was average. They ran out of food at the a la carte restaurants and the wait times were very long. The breakfast was standard but the wait was long.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Riu Renovated

First off, I would like to say that I think the Riu did a great job recovering from the damage caused to both the Palace and Sante Fe by Lidia. The renos done in the rooms are a great improvement, with the removal of the old tubs and replaced with showers. The new theater and stage area is wonderful. The new buffet is nice, but I preferred the old one. This one feels too much like an open cafeteria, and is very noisy when busy. Had great meals in Indian and Japanese restaurants.Krystal was a waste of time the night we went. New lunch buffet was an improvement, but the best lunch is the Italian menu at the Sante Fe restaurant beside the activity pool. Great views as well .. right on the ocean. All in all, drinks were great, and staff was excellente!!! Very relaxing week.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Mexican style relaxing resort

Dining amazing. Resort nice. Great pool, ocean. Towels handled in a positive way, no problems Comfortable loungers, esp. when your their more than a week. Unusual design, in that the main lobby is not natural to go to or use only at the beginning and the end. I view it as a sales office. It’s not very friendly. Someone introduced themselves as our personal concierge, we’ll, he was our salesman...never heard or saw him afterwards, insincere truly. They greet you like other secrets res [... read more]orts with a glass of champagne but it is not sincere, and when your leaving there is a length of time waiting,so your sitting there, many people In Fact so it would be natural and sincere to offer a bottle of water...they don’t. You remember the first moments and the last they should be taught this. Also some secrets, had management, staff doing surveys, asking guests their opinions, etc.....nothing here. Many guests were complaining their rooms were too close to the pwedding pavilion and noisy, loud, esp. base music bright lighting, too late into the evening. Now our room wasn’t near it, but I surely can understand , we did here it late one evening. The pavilion and wedding set up should not interfere with other guests.paviollion is situated by rooms that have ocean view....suggest either moving the pavilion or redesign and / or supply those ocean view rooms to wedding parties ONLY. Also regarding design, the rooms lack storage areas, we’ve been at other secrets, but these rooms lack drawers / cubes. Could be easily rectified by adding some to the wardrobe and nite tables. Ifour them one guest is definitely living out of their luggage. In general, they were managed in more of an authentic Mexican style than other secrets. Including their entertainment dept. although enthusiastic. Their pool music too loud! No management present, apparently they have all gone to the offfices now located at the new hotel next door. This absence was my immediate observation. Staff want to help but they need more English training and seem reactionary vs. Proactive. I. E. Mini bar not filled daily, we as guests should not have to call ...daily. Grounds are nice. Staff generally good, I want to call out Giovanni from the pool service/ bar area, and Alex, pool concierge, outsiding and made for a great time. Excellent.

Grand Sunset Princess: This resort was great 10/10

Food was amazing.The grounds were clean worker's are friendly.Many a le carte restaurants to choose from.Buffet was good and 24 hour sports bar was awsome.night showtime was entertaining and live bands at the bar had a good mox of music e every night.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Hugely Disapointed

ive been a loyal customer of the royal decameron complex for 23 yrs going twice a yr and everything was always fantastic , until this last trip oct 7th to oct 21st 2017 ,,,,,,,,ive always reffered my freinds and family there ,,,,, but this yr , things have changed horribly ,,,,,,,they always had a great variety of canadian and mexicain foods on the buffets but this yr ,,,, there was not ,,, everything in the buffets looked the same it was all mush over cooked and way over spiced , and it was c [... read more]lear they were reheating foods and reserving them the following day ,,, and very clear was alot of cross contamination of foods as 90% of the people we spoke to durring our 2 weeks were all very ill from the food ,,,, including all 5 of us ,,,,,,and the food service has also gone down the toilet along with everything we ate ,,, i sat at a table in the buffet for nearly 25 mins waiting for cutlury and water before getting my food to the point i got up and went to the service counter and got my own and poured my own water ,,,, bar tenders were fantastic house keeping was fantastic and maintainence was also great , but if the food is not good ,, no one has a good time ,,, extremely disapointing ,, and after 23 yrs ill now be looking for a new resort to go to in puerto vallarta

Riu Palace Riviera Maya: OUTSTANDING SERVICE

This was our first time at this particular RIU and we weren't disappointed, the staff throughout the hotel went out of their way to provide quality service. The buffet offered a tremendous selection of foods that would appeal to everyone including many vegetarian selections, seafood daily and a theme of the day. The buffet was so good we didn't bother with the speciality restaurants at all. The beach area is out of this world with picture perfect sand and water and very few local vendors pesteri [... read more]ng you. The pool areas were kept spotless and the swim up bar was always fully stocked with all of our favourites. The only negative was when we arrived around 11:30 a.m. we were told our room wouldn't be ready until 3 but if we wanted to pay 590 pesos per night we could get a room right away. Also we were told there is a new environmental tax the government has added of 10 pesos per night that we had to pay in cash before they would even give us a room. We asked about paying by credit card and were told no, cash was to be in pesos but they wouldn't offer money conversion. When I told them we had only U.S. $ they relented and took that payment. Too bad the travel agency or Sunwing hadn't let us know to expect this added fee to our All Inclusive. Anyway other than that small glitch this was one of the best trips we have ever been away on.

Grand Sunset Princess: Unforgettable vacay

The resort is really great. The rooms are very comfortable. Our only problem was that the swim out suite couldnt be locked from outside which makes it difficult to actually use as it should be. The restaurants are very good, both a la carte amd buffets. There were several parts under renovations but it didnt cause big problems for us. service and personnel very nice.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Beautiful Resort!

This resort was spotless, well-maintained, friendly. The workers here were phenomenal; always assisting, greeting, cleaning, etc. The food was delicious and plentiful. The drinks were also delicious and so many to try! The beach on the Infinity side is still being built but it did not disappoint; there was always a place to lay and despite needing water shoes the water was lovely and refreshing. Travelled mid-october. weather was awesome (high twenties), weather forecast showed thunderstorm everyday but it was not accurate at all. only rained at nights a little bit but it would stop fast. Resort is huge, at least 20 minute walk from lobby to beach. good for kids, they have a family club area where you can drop your kids from age 3. Not much shades on pools if you travelling with infants. even the kids pool is uncovered and no shade in the pool. Rooms are nice and modern. they charge you [... read more] a small fee when checkin in, around 1 dollar per night. which tooks us by surprise, apparently is a new fee the locals are charging for maintenance of the beach, etc. Buffets were good, ala carte too but they dont all open everyday, we couldnt get the mexican because they fill out fast. Dont go to La fondue, bad service and food. the grill, International and Miso are very good. There are some royal club reps always trying to reclute people around to get you in to listen to their 90 minute talk to get you enrolled in their service. very very annoying, we got approached at least 5 times everytime we walked to the Buffet. At some point, i wanted to take another path to the buffet because they will always cut in saying hi and having small talks just to then offer you to join them and sign up with them for a talk. and they put pressure. also., they change staff every day so everyday you will get approached. Beach was ok, smelled really bad the days we were in there, and always with red flag. Some mosquitos at night for sure, very annoying if u get bit. Plenty of pools, entertainment could be improved. very close to playa del carmen. Other resorts have more things to do and ammenities i believe. overall i would give this a 4 star. good time

Everything was so good! The staff are amazing and so friendly and accommodating. Room service was quick! All meals were to die for and the decorations were a beautiful added touch. The pool areas were so clean and the staff at the pools were fantastic. The rooms were very spacious and always cleaned. The grounds were amazing, everything so neat and tidy. " Awesome facility"!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: completely satisfied!

Overall beautiful resort, great beach, rooms were awesome, staff and restaurants first class. Very well maintained and spotless. Really nothing negative to say. Would definitely stay here again. well located close to airport and attractions. Staff were very friendly and attentive to everything. Great entertainment in the evenings as well.

El Cid Resort Castilla: Great holiday to Mazatlan

Great resort, great value and well worth the money. A week in Mazatlan for a family birthday. Absolute pleasure Overall a good time was had by all, great family resort and well worth it, good location and great weather as usual. Met some great folks and the staff made the stay very pleasurable Highly recommended and would promote.

Riu Tequila: Very nice resort

Great beach area with a few snorkeling spots 20 minutes beach walk. Great food but small pool, rooms clean and spacious. Resort is located very close to 5th avenue shopping area in Playa del Carmen. There is a shopping mall right beside the resort, please do not go there. Is the biggest scam I ever seen, they literally charge you 30 to 50 times the value of the goods. Instead go visit Centro Maya in Playa del Carmen. I need to go there to buy basic stuff as Sunwing Airline mishandle one of  [... read more]my suitcase, which came after three days at the resort. Do not even consider Sunwing Airlines, they provide horrible service.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Stunning Resort

We have been to this resort twice now. It is absolutely our favorite. The staff are genuinely happy to help and the resort is immaculately clean. We travelled with our two toddlers, parents my sister and my husband. The food was delicious and plenty of choices. The restaurants were amazing. The entertainment was top notch compared to other resorts we have been to. I honestly can not say anything negative as we truly had a wonderful time.
