Grand Decameron Los Cabos: A Tired Resort

The Decameron is a great place to stay thanks to their wonderful staff. The employees are the best asset the hotel has, as they are all so kind and friendly. The pool is beautiful. There's also a huge, miles-long sandy beach that you can walk on. The only downfall is that the food is mediocre at best. The serving trays are constantly empty and they don't always have plates available. They regularly ran out of things like bread, milk, bacon, eggs, and the line up at the omelet station blocked acc [... read more]ess to the bacon and eggs. The jam and butter were not with the bread and buns and was frequently not available. The cleaning staff were thorough and left our room clean but often times were not able to show up until 5pm which was very inconvenient. The liquor available was lower quality and there was only one choice of beer that was not very good. This was our second time at the Decameron and we were disappointed. We love Cabo and will be back but will definitely choose a different resort.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Older but nice resort

This is an older resort. The grounds were well kept, clean and constantly maintained. The rooms are okay but in some locations the birds make a mess on the balconies. The rooms were spacious, well cleaned and comfortable. The dining was good. The food is more traditional Mexican which was a nice change. I have dietary issues but there were always options. The staff were accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help. It should be noted that you can use the facilities and the bar at the two sister resorts on this beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and being able to stop for a rest and refreshment on the other end of the beach. It should be noted that this is a Mexican resort, with mainly Mexican clients, a Mexican atmosphere and Mexican is the language most spoken. Many of the staff were bilingual (Spanish/English) and the clients were more than helpful. This is a small town where people are polite and courteous in the streets. This is not Puerto Vallarta or anything like it. We hope to go again soon.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Wonderful Resort! Enjoyed every minute!

The beach was absolutely stunning! The water was aqua blue and so clear and warm. We were in swimming every day, several times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They only have 2 A la Carte restaurants but there was a great selection of delicious options at the buffet so no worries there. There were often musicians playing in the room beside the dining room and the music was so nice, just the right volume because they were in the next room. There pool was spotless. Later evening entertainment was on the Montego Bay side and we didn’t get over for it as our days were very full and active. Carl took us out for an amazing Hobie Cat ride. Enjoyed that very much. Overall, the Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Super Resort

Remember this is a 3 star, and we actually like the size of this resort..The staff, each and everyone of them are great...Yes the rooms are a bit outdate, especially bathrooms, but they are re-doing the whole resort...Food is outstanding...We will return in a heartbeat..

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Perfect for us

Clean, cozy bungalows, full buffets, no lines, friendly service. Perfect place for retired couple not so much for the younger travellers. Would recommend it go back. We easily arranged excursions with the staff that was available daily. Enjoyed a complementary bottle of Champaign for my birthday.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Getting Better

Food and Internet have improved. Fridges in every room now. Booking restaurants still brutal. We were there for 8 nights in Feb. 2025. There were several toilet seats missing from the common bathrooms and not one was replaced in the 8 nights we were there. One would think if an employee removed it because it was broken then they would know to replace them. Takes about 2 minutes and a $19.95 toilet seat to do it.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Jamaica Me Happy Resort!!

Food was amazing …. People were amazing….minus the not so friendly first experience at the front desk! Where we were late getting a room due to the fact they let another group check out late. And we ended up taking a room with two hard double beds. We ended up pool side and no ocean view which was our request. Other than that everyone was just wonderful. Food and bar service was amazing.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Nice Subtle Family Vibe in Perfect Location

Its the perfect spot on the hip strip, close to craft market, free beaches, convenient stores, clubs, restaurants and less than 10 mins from airport. The hotel has lots of swimming, sunbathing areas and good food. Excellent staff!!!! Although they could use more. Spacious rooms and not an overwhelming property. Entertainment is just okay. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Great place!

The hotel was being renovated while we were there which was fine because it will make even nicer to stay at. Our room was ok. Needs a little facelift but the bed was comfy, lots of hot water and water pressure in shower and the view was spectacular. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The pool where the bar was could be cleaned better but we still used it. All in all a pretty decent resort.

improved over last year i will be back lol, bar fridge in the rooms ,beds were upgraded ,, large drinking water every night in room ,,new keyless room safe and towel bars on balcony to dry wet suits and tank tops and towels , very clean grounds bartenders are on top of it all cheers to aldo

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Not Bad

Ocean view room was perfect...old cabinets in bathroom and taps from 1950.... Lots of cobblestone steps around but ramps as well. Food was just ok..tender beef, swiss chalet like chicken most lunch and dinner. Veggies either mushy or raw. I love rice and it was good..breakfast good..home smoked bacon. Lots of seniors limping with knee braces but gorgeous grounds, beach lovely but ocean dirty. Nice to walk to lshops and Chedraui dept store.

Grand Decameron Panama: Amazing resort!

We loved our stay at the grand Decameron resort! Food was excellent great service amazing pools and beach! Free wifi in lobby and most restaurant's. the villas are cute and big with a couch which is more of a bed! Great place for family with kids! Also the night shows are fun and entertaining!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Repeat Guests

We were at the Royal Decameron Runaway Bay Ramada in January 2025 and were there to celebrate a friend's 90th birthday. We have been to this resort numerous times and seen the good and the bag. Happy to report this time that there was great improvement in the quality of the food and also improvement in the entertainment. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Both good and bad

Some rooms were old and musty, after 2 weeks we were able to change room which was renovated but we had to accept 3rd floor luckily we are fit seniors my husband is 85 years old, a other reson for changing room was extremely loud music with the system crank up to maximum. On could not relax even during breakfast and supper, When we asked to have volume turned down we told ths was a party place basically discmatory reply indicating we were old for this place. As far as food, drinks and alcohol beverages are concerned it was excellent. We had option to eat in both facilities Decameron Montego Bay and Cornwell. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Nice enjoyable resort

The hotel was very good. Great view from the rooms which were very nice and cleaned daily. Everything is so close including the large beach and ocean. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, something for everyone. A pizza option and more seafood would be my one suggestion. Anyone looking for a relaxing week whether by the pool or on the beach won't be disappointed. Not much in the way of night life but there is some entertainment and the bars are open.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Loved this clean, friendly resort

I heard a lot of complaints from folks, that the coffee was out (for about 3 minutes) to someone who spent 5 minutes complaining about a guest in a bikini top and skirt. So I'll start with the only negatives I saw: 1) a bit of overuse of the megaphone. Not everything needs speakers 2) curtains had some wear and tear with a few holes 3) no toilet paper dispenser 4) paint splatter from previous painting and shower doors didn't close properly. None of these things took away from the fantastic trip  [... read more]we had. The things I loved about the resort were 1) the food! So delicious and varied for an all inclusive. Tea and coffee were always available (there were several places to access beverages) 2) staff were friendly and helpful 3) bed was a king sized with a twin, very comfortable 4) the beach was well maintained, sand was soft, there was a bit of a step up out of the ocean but staff were often rushing to help older folks. The view of the sunsets were amazing. 5) someone was always cleaning at this resort. Everywhere and all the time. 6) entertainment- had some wonderful entertainers, singers. One night they had a non-serious casino (chips only, no money). It was lovely to see the staff enjoying themselves as well, appreciating the singing, sharing proudly their delicious traditional food. This is a place I will definitely recommend and return to. But I suppose for some who has a desperate need for fresh washcloths everyday (they always had towels, we had read we should bring our own wash clothes if we wanted them) or you just had to have a toasted sandwich (many guests complained that they had to toast their sandwiches three times) rather than eat the roast beef, jerk chicken, BBQ fish, a thousand sides, and about 5 different kinds of the most delicious fresh bread, then perhaps you deserve to be disappointed.I was not disappointed and look forward to returning.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Quite disappointing

Prior to 2020 we used to travel to Cocos in RDG fairly regularly. Royal(Grand) DeCameron was always touted as the better higher end version of Cocos. Our experience certainly did not reflect that. The service staff in the bars and restaurants and the room cleaning staff were wonderful as always but the front desk staff were not. We paid for a room upgrade when booking, when we arrived the desk clerk said we would love Block 2 because of the great views and it would be fairly quiet(our other re [... read more]quest). The ocean views were good but the room was way less than 1 star and certainly not what someone should expect when paying for an upgrade. We complained the following morning and were told nothing was available for one more night(29% of the trip), but we had no choice. The desk clerk was also very rude and frosty after I pointed out to him that this was not what we should have been offered when we had paid for upgrades when booking in October. We were moved to Block 4 where the rooms were better... in comparison and also quieter. The light over the bathroom sink didn't work, when I went to ask for a fix, the same front clerk took my information. You can imagine how well that went. This was Day 3, after multiple days of asks, the light bulb was changed on Day 5. All in all, I would not recommend or ever go back. In comparison Cocos in RDG is a gem!!!

Grand Decameron Panama: Great Resort!

Beautiful resort. Highly recommended the "plus" option. Restaurants were awesome. Staff was friendly. Host "Alex" was informative. Went on 2 excursions. A day in Panama city and a day in Anton. Totally enjoyed our 10 day stay ?

Decameron Isla Coral: First time to Guayabitos

We stayed at Isla Coral Jan22-29,2025 The hotel is a little dated but clean. The buffet was good some mornings they were out of eggs by 9am. The lobby bartender Jorge was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and resort. Carmen in the buffet was very friendly and spoke pretty good English The entertainment was lacking The pool was extremely cold and only got sunshine a few hours in the morning.
