Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great resort!

Overall good resort; Pros: - lots of restaurants - good entertainment Cons: -small beach - make sure to request ocean view or else you’re across the street. Great country, great people. Highly recommend any sandals.

Sandals South Coast: This resort is the bomb chicadee

We had an amazing time at the sandal south coast resort. The place looked amazing, the grounds were immaculate clean and fresh. The staff was warm, welcoming and friendly. The food was of high quality in all restaurant and delicious, a lot of variety. The rooms all have ocean views and are specious , stocked mini fridge and the bathroom was big and always cleaned. There was so many activities we enjoyed all water sports motorized and unmotorized and all equipment was in great standing order. The [... read more]y enforced safety and are quick to attend to any situations. We also used the tennis court, basketball court, gym, shuffle board and played croquet. We enjoyed all drinks from the many bars, pool tables and fire tables with comfy seating. The shows were of high quality and very entertaining as well as the karaoke nights and other musical entertainment . Our favorite place was le café de Paris with real fresh pastries and on demand fresh crêpes offered also gluten free. Actually every server at every restaurant at every meal made a point to ask if there was any allergies or food restrictions, impressive. I do not have any negative comments , we loved our vacation.

Sandals Barbados: Fantastic resort with a few nit-picks

What a beautiful resort overall! Probably one of the nicest places we've been when looking at grounds layout and food. Service was Caribbean-slow and check-in was delayed yet again like our last Sandals experience. Favourite places to eat and hang out were the Paris Cafe for coffee and snacks, Le Parisienne rooftop restaurant for dinner and Soy for fantastic Sushi. It was really nice to have access to everything on the Sandals Royal Barbados side of the resort. The only difference between [... read more] the two resorts are the rooms....everything else is shared. We enjoyed the pool on the Royal-side with the swim-up bar by the entertainment stage area. The beach was beautiful, but red-flags the whole day due to waves. Everyone raves about the Friday-night Oisten fish event in town, but we found it excessively expensive for what you get. Would go back for sure and highly recommend!

Sandals Royal Bahamian: The offshore island made for two vacations in one!

Overall the resort is great. The food was very good at all of the restaurants. There is a restaurant on the offshore island that also serves dinner on select nights but isn't well advertised. The menu is full of seafood options including lobster. The quick boat ride over is fun and you can snorkle with turtles, my husband even saw a huge lobster. There are many shaded areas when you need to cool off. The Windsor side of the hotel is newer and the rooms were well appointed. We didn't have a b [... read more]utler but really didn't need one. The mini bar is stocked with whatever you want, all you have to do is ask. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Sandals Inn: Sandals Inn in Montego Bay, gave us the best service we have ever had in a resort.

There is limited space and a small beach area, however if one is looking for intimacy with guests and a peaceful setting with very friendly staff. Then this is the place. If you are looking for more excitement this hotel will shuttle you to any other Sandals Hotels in the area.

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Amazing resort - food, room & much much more

The resort was so much bigger than expected. The rooms were amazing, the ocean views (cliffside and by the ocean) were outstanding from every restaurant. The food was to die for and the staff were one of a kind. I would definitely stay here again.

Sandals Barbados: One of the best Sandals Resort we visited so far.

Exceeded our expectations. So much to see and do we may have to visit a second time. We really enjoyed walking through the pathways enjoying the view of the different varieties of flowers especially the Hibiscus. The staff members are friendly. The Ambassador in the Horticultural Department is very knowledgeable. We met a few of the Hotel Managers and they were never too busy to stop by and chat with us.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Beautiful property...poor service

The beach is incredible. Clear blue water with a reef close by so you see a ton of colourful fish just standing in the water. The service is very slow. Sometimes it was taking 1+ hour for the food to arrive. They also ran out of key menu items much too often.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Beautiful

Have only been to the Sandals Resort in Grenada before but now am convinced of the quality standard. Grounds are immaculate, location is beautiful. Food and staff first class for the most part. The 2 hour trip from the airport is bearable but they ship you off too soon back to the airport. Had to leave at 10:30 am for a 3:50 pm flight. Air Canada desk not even open when we arrived at the airport. Staff at the Italian restaurant very cold and breakfast service extremely slow but all of the other [... read more] restaurants completely different. If you dive plan on spending more than half the day. Meet at 8am, leave by 8:30-9:00, 45 to 60 minute boat ride to the sites one way and 1 to 1:30 pm on return.Dive staff was great but then I`ve never met unhappy dive masters. Didn`t swim in a pool for future reference. You know why.

Sandals Caribbean Cay: Loved the Resort

Intimate feel, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, amazing food. The room was beautiful with the tub on the patio. Our butlers Sheldon and Andre were top notch and made our trip one to remember. Thank you guys! Such an amazing trip and we hope to return soon!!

Sandals Grenada: Beyond Amazing!

Sandals Grenada was a stunningly beautiful resort with lush gardens and modern facilities throughout the property. Everything was well maintained and the resort was spotless. We had a huge butler level room (Rondoval) with our own pool and hot tub that we used on a daily basis. Our butlers (Willam, Kerry & Randell) went above & beyond for us during our stay, doing such things as: bringing drinks/snacks/lunch to us while we were on the beach or at the pool, leaving late afternoon snacks in our ro [... read more]om along with chilled wine or champagne, setting up all of our dinner, tour and spa reservations for us, saving us chairs on the beach or a cabana by the pool in the early morning, arranging our private engagement dinner, bringing breakfast to our outdoor terrace most mornings, leaving bubble baths with tropical flowers and sweet messages, and escorting us to our dinners in the evening. The housekeepers kept our room neat & tidy every day. The entertainment staff was incredible both in the daytime at the party pool (South Seas) and for the evening entertainment. Steven, with the entertainment crew, was especially fun to meet and always knew how to get a party started. Every night has a theme (i.e. Caribbean night, Reggae night, Grenada night) and they have special nights too (i.e. beach party, white party, etc). The food was sooo good! I would recommend all of the restaurants/room service/snacks, as there is something there for everyone and the quality/service was outstanding. We went on the 3pm boat tour and the 1pm snorkel trip both run by the resort and they were both excellent and informative. We visited the spa twice, once in the spa facility and the other time out on the beach, for massages both times and we were impressed by the professionalism and quality of service. We had our free 20 minute photoshoot on the beach and ended up purchasing some pictures (expensive!!!) because we got engaged & wanted some memorable photos to take home. Everyone was very friendly, both staff and guests. It's only a 5 minute ride from the airport which is amazing especially after a full day of travel to get there! The beach & quiet pool were easy to get chairs at if you don't have a butler, but I would recommend getting to the party pool early to reserve chairs, as they fill up fast. Definitely make your dinner and spa reservations as soon as you get there. Even if you don't have a butler, there are girls that will take your order & bring you drinks on both the beach & by the pools. The beach is smaller but still beautiful and you can see St. Georges and lots of boats/cruise ships passing by. The pier is a great spot to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings before heading to dinner. I would definitely bring an adapter or power cord next time, as there didn't seem to be very many plugs in the room. Currency is U.S. or Eastern Caribbean. No tipping at all, except for butlers and spa staff. We left little gift bags of lotion/sweet treats/face masks/bath bombs/etc for our housekeepers and added a tag saying "thank you from your guests in room 4106" so they could take it home with them through the gate when their shift was done. Although I didn't see or hear any mosquitos, I did get quite a few bites in the evening and they were beyond itchy...my fiancé however got none! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would 100% recommend this resort!

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Sandals Halcyon Review

My boyfriend and I travelled to Sandals Halcyon in March 2019. For reference, we are in our early 30s and are experienced travelers in the Caribbean. As this was our first Sandals experience, we were excited to see “the Sandals difference” – especially considering the price tag. It was also very, VERY refreshing to not be expected to tip (although we did leave tips for a few exemplary staff). The negative: The Halcyon beach, in comparison to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian, left something to be desired. Still, a beach in the Caribbean is nothing to complain about! It just wasn’t nearly as nice as the beach at the Grande. As well, this resort is VERY MUCH geared towards retirees. There were very few guests within our age group. Because of this, the nightlife was essentially non-existent. This is a great resort if you’re looking to simply relax and not necessarily looking have a lively social experience. All-in-all, we had a really amazing vacation! However, if we were to return to a Sandals in St. Lucia, we would definitely select the Sandals Grande.

Sandals South Coast: Great resort! Great vacation!!

The Sandals South Coast was simply the best resort we have ever visited. From the beautiful beach, amazing rooms, awesome amenities, to the great service everyone on the resort does everything humanly possible to make you feel like this is a special place and a special time for you. Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Great Resort

The resort was well maintained. The staff were there to please the guests. The grounds were well maintained and organized. The food and entertainment was excellent. The only negative that I can think of was the beach. It was a little short. I would have liked a longer beach to allow for long walks.

Sandals Negril: Sandals Negril -extremely dissappointing

First lets just say I had expectations having been married at Sandals Negril Resort 25 years ago, and having visited 3 other Sandals resorts early on in our marriage. This year it is our 25th year anniversary year and as such my husband and I thought it would be special to return to the resort as oppose to explore other vacation destinations. While the overall services, gardens and interior room appointments are still lovely, the resort has catastrophically downgraded the room amenities in the  [... read more]25 years. The focus is clearly on Butler rooms which the balcony rooms seem to be reserved for. Our room was an incredible disappointment. No outdoor space at all, and the window in the room had a corridor exposure. It is more like a well appointed motel room. No patio, no balcony, just a corridor with guests walking right in front of your window requiring the shutters to be closed when occupied. Our first night was spent in a room that didn't even have a view of the exterior. The window opened to a covered and walled exterior corridor with 2 elevators, housekeeping closets and ice machine, no possible line of sight to sky or garden or outside space at all. In fact I couldn't tell if it was daylight or night since the hall was brightly illuminated with artificial light day and night it was so contained a space. The room in particular was 3105, but 2105 is identically situated. If you get either of those rooms - REFUSE it immediately. The next day they moved us to an adjacent room from which at least one could see sky and a piece of garden , but did not measure up to what SANDALS should be providing. Its a shame. It wouldn't have broken the bank to have provided even a small seating area outside the room to have morning coffee, read a book or even to put your sandy shoes on from. I even had to ask for a towel rack for wet bathing suits to be place outside my door. For the level of supposed luxury you pay for, the room didn't even measure up to a 3 star resort experience. I was also rather disappointed in Sandals attitude. The resort was well aware that we were a returning couple having actually been married at that very resort 25 years ago. I wasn't looking for any sort of free bonus inclusions, but thought it was bad form to not have even left a little note in the room welcoming us back. Even when we were approached for feedback on our stay by the customer service department, they were speechless, and then still did absolutely nothing. I shouldn't say nothing, they did try to SELL us spa services. Apparently it makes no difference if you are married on site or elsewhere in the world. So be it. Lesson learned. The reality is if you don't pay to renew your vows, travel on the specific day of ceremony which was not possible in our case, or purchase extra services like romance packages or butlers, you don't matter at all. Its pretty clear that Sandals has a two tier system now. Very unfortunate. We won't be returning to a Sandals .

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

We had wonderful trip to Sandals La Toc in St Lucia. We received a warm welcoming by all staff. Buffet food was great with a good variety and the restaurants were amazing. Rooms were very nice and clean. We would recommend this resort. In addition we booked with trip central, thank you Stephanie for being so accommodating with all our questions and great vacation.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Paradise

I would totally recommend this resort, it’s beautifull and the staff are amazing. We had butler service and they were awesome. The grounds were immaculate, the rooms were clean and well stocked. We are definitely going back there and I can say for sure that so far this is my favourite Sandals and this was our third time. Don’t get me wrong they are all great resorts anywhere you decide to go.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Beautiful St.Lucia

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Less than Stellar

We have been at a number of Sandal resorts and quite honestly were disapointed with our Ochi Rios experience compared to others. Food and service were both less than satisfactory. There certainly seemed to be a lack of communication amongst employees and management. In summary, this was not a typical 5 star Sandals experience.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Sandals Antigua-week of Feb 18th

Hats off to Westjet-really good seats,.very personable and fun staff and an overall better experience than Airtransat or Sunwing. We think this is the best of the Sandals that we have experienced (have been to Whitehouse, Bahamas, St. Lucia and Jamaica). This one is larger, very well kept, lots of great things to do (pizza joint open most of the day, large fire tables in the evening to gather around, etc.). very attentive and happy staff, a superb stretch of beach- always calm, warm wate [... read more]r and hard packed sand. Very beautiful grounds and endless views. Customer service was first rate for the most part. And good for them for switching to paper drinking straws ! And excellent wines and good bar drinks everywhere. And our room was very up to date despite us being in the oldest part of the resort. We still think some of the other 5 star resorts such as Secrets provides far superior food and much better live entertainment, all at a lot less cost. However if the butler experience and snorkeling, scuba and golf are important to you, then Sandals may make sense. For us, the only notable meals out of 7 days at this Sandals were at Marios (Italian) and the morning and lunch buffets (both very good compared to the alacarte offerings). Elenor's, which requires reservations, was pretty much a let down for us. I couldn't seem to get a good piece of grilled fish anywhere. But there seemed to be lots of breaded/deep fried fish and chicken on the menus Again, nothing wrong with the food, but at this level of luxury, we would expect better.
