Hotel Rancho Luna: Very good hotel

Good resort for its price no question good location good food nice and clean swimming pool nice and friendly personel close to Cienfuegos ,all in all I beleive I will stay at this resort again as soon as I star planing another vacation probably in couple of months.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Resort was good for a 3 star

Good resort for a 3 star in Cuba. Friendly staff and the rooms are clean. The food needs some improvement. I brought my own hot sauce and ketchup to add a little flavor to my food. Not much to choose from in the buffet . I was there during the low season, med November, weeks after hurricane irma. This could've been the reason why the food wasn't the best. I would visit Rancho luna a second time.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Fantastic resort

Hotel clean grounds wonderful staff couteous food good. Lots to do in town also went on excursion to Trinidad. Wonderful little city. Lots of night life in Cienfuegos. Weather perfect cool at night hot during day.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Disgusting Hotel

Over all the hotel and its accommodation is okey, but the Hygiene practice of staff was extremely poor, water with the yellow color was non sanitary and I picked up a stomach bug, and several bites on my body which has became infected ( Bed Bug ) and still I have not seen any improvement, just remind you, I used at least 30 bottled water for my regular wash and brushing.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Very bad experience

Hi there, I have to let you know that my recent trip to Cienfuegos was the worst trip I've ever had. Our original booking for October 28th was cancelled and i got full refund. But I had to reschedule my working days and.... we booked again for Nov. the 4th for Cienfuegos Rancho Luna. For first two days no water in the resort or very very dirty and smelling.  Because of that they moved us to Trinidad for one and half hour drive for each way. Packing unpacking for another two times which we had [... read more] never planed to go there while we had unfinished business in Cienfuegos. After returning to original hotel my friend and I got sick and diarrhea. We were referred to onsite nurse for help too. For the rest of our trip we had to stay close to our room.  The food quality and quantity was bad. We had two room, 374 and 375. I will never go back to that resort or city again.

The food is gross the hotel shower and toilet need CLR IF YOUR LOOKING 4 CHEAP ACCOMIDATIONS AND DONT MIND NASTY THEN GO Thats all i could say To many Cubains I would not reccomend Hotel Rancho luna to friends only my enemys

Hotel Rancho Luna: same as before

The beach was small and no swim area. Ran out of ice, pop, etc. The trinidad excursion was not the greatest. No pina coladas at all, or mojitos. Music went on until 1 am. Pool was green,not able to swim. Not enough activities, no bingo. no pharmacy, nurses and doctor did not want to help. restaurant service sucked. the flight was ok and meal. the air condioner in buffet was not on. they need circulation fans everywhere. more help in the alacarte.

Hotel Rancho Luna: You pay what you get for

In general, the beachfront scenery is nice and Trinidad, El Nicho Falls are worth checking out. The food wasn't great, but the issue was more about presentation, cleanliness and hygiene than anything else. Flies were everywhere in the cafeteria and we even spotted roaches in the salad bar. That and the lacklustre attitude of the serving staff is unacceptable.

Hotel Rancho Luna: The RANCHO LUNA beach was a disaster

Hi: Among many visits that I made to this resort in 30 some years, the beach was very dirty for the duration of first week, due the strong winds that were blowing for four days prier to my coming. I never seen it like this. There was a lot of debris of plastics of all kinds. The smell was awful. It took them more than a week to clean it up. I can't understand, why they have to carry their drinks into the pool. A lot of plastic cups and straws were scattered in and around the pool even on Monday. There were very small amount of regular Canadian tourists. On the whole, my stay was quite nice. Yes, I will go to this resort again in the future. Stayed from 10 to 24 of June/17. . .

Hotel Rancho Luna: Nice place ..but

There are far too few shady spots to sit to escape the sun on the beach and by the pool. We booked adjoining rooms because we had our 3 young grandchildren. We had to spend a night several rooms away from each other the first night. One room had extremely hot water the other only tepid in the showers. Selection of food was better than many of the other places we stayed at. Encounters with staff members was pleasant some were extremely gracious. My husband and I have been to Cuba 9 times now, thi [... read more]s is the first time we've come home with Montezuma's revenge. It is very unpleasant! All five of us are suffering. Safe bottled water is not provided in your rooms as in all other places we've stayed in Cuba. The room had a carafe where you could pick a bar and get some water for your needs, I suspect that sometimes it was tap water that was provided.Bottled water is available for purchase in the small store on the grounds. The grounds were beautiful, well kept, and mostly free from the litter that tourists leave behind in their wake. I would go back, my husband & eldest granddaughter say no.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Summar vacation

This is our first experience in Rancho Luna. We did not like the beach, but Beach Bar is a super place for relaxing. The lunch is served there, so people don't have to go back to the Restaurant. The food is good, cannot complaint, but would like to see more varieties on the table. The room is clean and the staff is very helpful and courteous. The shuttle bus to downtown is a bonus. We enjoyed our stay in Rancho Luna

very good resort well kept grounds ,rooms basic clean food good and plenty close to the airport and to the city of Cienfuegos LOVE IT been there many many times , never had any problem be back very soon one more time this year .

Hotel Rancho Luna: Average resort

Everything else is three star except is hotel is bugs infested including the bedrooms. otherwise it is good for the price you pay. But they can clean up this very easily. Gym use to be good but now all the machines are gone.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Good reasonably priced resort

The staff was always cheerful and great to deal with. The food was decent (not great) but there was plenty to choose from. While there, we didn't get an Al Carte dinner. The room was clean but it definitely could use an upgrade. The air conditioner in our room worked fine. The grounds are well cared for and the beach was cleaned up daily. Took the shuttle twice into Cienfuegos - very enjoyable.

Club Amigo Costa Sur: Average hotel, amazing staff

Bungalow was satisfactory. Maid service was great. Food was average, stay away from the Pork liver. It didn't agree with me. Beach was excellent. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitos (it's the season) so come prepared with ample bug repellant. I visited in the middle of May.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Ok Resort

Resort was ok, no problem with the hotel, food was good, housekeepers were amazing. We paid for Ocean view, didn't get it yet people that didn't pay for one got them, so I would advise not to pay for Ocean view. How ever found front line staff, reception, bar staff there was a huge language problem. At the bars basic drinks, had to go off resort to get Cocktails never had that problem in Cuba before. Been to 3* Cuba many times before and never came across this.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Exceleent value

Second time at this resort, and was not disappointed. Sure, it is a little older, a few things need fixing and sprucing up, but the people are super friendly and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. Did not see TOO much of the lecherous old men with the young Cuban girls, so that was nice. Food is never great in Cuba, but there was always something you could enjoy, and it was actually better than I would have expected. Hotel Rancho Luna: Authentic resort

We had a great week at ranch Luna in Cuba! The resort is older, but certainly didn't lack any of the necessities that we needed for the week. Great service, friendly, helpful staff, food was certainly plentiful and tasty. Something for everyone. Very large pool, great for all ages. We enjoyed the beach, and ocean. Free shuttle into the city, a great way to see the country side and Cubans. Felt very safe and we would go back next year.
