Lovely resort

Resort always bustling with activities like dance lessons and shows at night. Staff were very warm. Many Canadians around to talk to making it feel like home. Would have liked a quiet group activity like euchre tournament.

Nice clean resort

The grounds were lovely. Room was nice and cleaned everyday ,only issue was trying to get chairs by the pool. People guarded them with there towels everyday ,never got a chair by the pool all week ,also they don't know how to cook beef or lamb always tough

Great resort - great staff

The staff go over and above what is expected for them. The rooms are good but request a renovated room and you will be happy. The food is good you can alwAys find something. The roasted chicken is amazing. The al a carte restaurants Japanese and steak house and Trinidad are a must

Had an amazing time!

Had such a fantastic experience here. The resort is really nice for Cuba. Our room was a little dated, but they have renovated suites if you prefer something more modern. The pools were good, but the beach was amazing, so we spent most of our time. The food was awesome which surprised everyone. The staff are so super friendly and really made the trip! Resort worth the rating!

This resort lived up to what our friends had mentioned during their visit a coupe of years ago. Right upon entering the entrance gave an impression of luxury. The food in the Buffet had plenty of variety and we really liked the Japannese alacart restuarant. Plenty of friendly staff to take care of our needs.

The Melia of Melia's

The Melia Veradero is uniquely situated just steps from it's pristine private beach and beside the DuPont mansion. With a luxurious interior, it is one of the nicest hotels on the peninsula and without a doubt of one our favourite places to stay in Cuba. This is was our third visit. The staff are courteous and friendly, and the accommodations clean and wonderfully managed. Definite must stay!

Beautiful resort

Beautiful people, extremely nice and helpful. Beach and ocean were wonderful and very clean. Food however was not great. Even the al a carte restaurants were not well done. Our room's phone did not work and we did have an oceanview room but over a noisy 24hr café and the smell of propane was present.

Not so great

This hotel is older and was in the middle of renovations on the top floor. We spent the week listening to saws drilling and hammering. We were very disappointed with the cleaninest of the hotel in general. The lack of English speaking staff and comprehension of the English language was a huge barrier. The food variety was poor we ate the same things for lunch and dinner at the buffet for a week. The staff in the kids programs were wonderful.

A little disapointed !

The staff was friendly but the day and night entertaining was boring..... The mini entertaining at 10pm was pretty much always empty. Food was always the same all week long Needed to change room because of bugs but our second room was very nice and clean. The front desk was extremely very helpful at all times.

Our trip to Cuba was interesting

The hotel Melia Veradero was very nice & very clean The grounds were well kept The people are very hard workers We plan to visit this hotel on our next vacation We have friends wanting to visit this hotel

Can't wait to return

The Hotel was beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Food was great. Water was beautiful. Not much to complain about. If anything they could make the beach access a little easier other than that we had so many places to see all on the Resorts grounds. Felt comfortable and happy and very very relaxed.
