BAVARO PRINCESS Bravo Bavaro!!

Beautiful and interesting grounds,with unusual Ecological area. Obviously well maintained,as were the extensive pools,restaurants and unique units. All staff were happy, helpful and added to the pleasure.Great place for kids

Best vacation spot!!

The Bavero Princess resort in Punta Cana was just perfect! We enjoy this resort with all it had to offer. The Platinum package was well worth the extra you pay. Our travel time between our room,beach,restaurants and,platinum lounge was maybe 2-3 minutes. The pool iss beautiful but,its very hard to not leave the beach! White sand for miles , breeze's ,a server to take your drink orders as you lay and,relax in the beauty of this resort. We enjoyed El Gaucho the best,steak house. The resort has many choices so pick your favorite food place and,enjoy. Our room was quite nice and,it was cool!! Our housekeeper was so good to us as well ,we were in 775 close to the beach.We went here from December 9 to the 16,t he weather is perfect,warm with cool breeze's on the beach. Our check in was with Magdeline and,she was the best. One of the servers in the resort a young man named Derric we would notice going out of his way to assist anyone he could,so nice😃. All the staff were wonderful with us as well. We would recommend this resort to everyone ,we can't wait to go back for our 2 visit. We want to say thank you to everyone who made our vacation as great as it was at this resort . Our travel agent Susan Snider of Trip central did a great job with our travel plans. Samantha Lewis of Trip central is owed a huge thank you for all her assistance she gave us on our vacation,couldnt do it without you😃. Christmas in Punta Cana!

This is our 2nd trip booked for the Bavaro Princess. Bernice at Tripcentral was amazing with the her service and patience with me while booking our big family vacation! Thank you Bernice! We couldn't have done it without you! The resort was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort! Marie Clase and her crew at the VIP lounge were extremely helpful and always made us feel welcome! Our little guy was not feeling well and she went out of her way to ensure he was comfortable and had what he needed. Jose and Perez at the VIP Beach Bar were amazing! The guys know how to handle customers! They were quick and courteous and always made us laugh! We cannot wait to go back! Feliz Navidad!

Wonderful Experience

When I arrived at the hotel I immediately was impressed by the lobby. The aquatic garden along with the high ceilings made the initial arrival to the hotel feel welcoming and tropical. Unfortunately there was a flood which made travel to and from the room a little harder but was not an issue as the hotel provided transportation to cross the water. I loved the room! we were told to have one queen bed but when we arrived it was two smaller beds put together. this was not a problem after we asked t [... read more]he maid to make the bed as one. The beach and the property overall was well maintained and enjoyable. Great experience overall!

Great resort! December 15-22, 2016

The resort was very nice. The staff was always friendly and willing to help if you needed it. We had a top level suite and the view was awesome! We were also in the middle of the resort so it was only 5 minutes to the beach and about 10 to the lobby (walking). We had an amazing experience and we would definitely go back.

Find Another Resort

The hotel staff was unfriendly and no one on the resort spoke any English. The worst was the front desk. The toilet stopped flushing properly and the shower stopped draining. Two of my other friends in our group both had problems with their rooms too. I'd say the food at the main dining room buffet was just okay, but the food was good at the 3 restaurants you could book were good (initially they wouldn't let us make reservations with our package until my friend complained which was ridic [... read more]ulous given we had a large group).

Clean and friendly resort

Good variety of food in the buffets, everyday different theme. Beach is fairly clean and well maintained. Lots of green on resort property makes you feel like you are out in the jungle at times.The resort shuttles run non-stop all day with minimal wait time, after about 3-4am you've got to request to be picked up via the reception and you only wait a few minutes.. Overall had a great time

Beautiful resort with such friendly people!

The dining areas were beautiful with an openspace- concept where tropical birds can watch you eating without trying to grab your food. Rooms were carefully arranged and decorated. Nightly entertainment was great!

Nice resort

Very well kept and clean resort throughout the grounds. and the staff is extremely friendly. If we we needed something fixed example in the room very quick and efficient to resolve issue. A few things that would make the resort more enjoyable is to let the customers know that they should make reservations for the A la carte restaurants especially the Japanese one. Tge rest if the restaurants were ok but not slot of different variety throughout the week. The buffet was good, especially the breakfast and the variety of food, especially the fruit selection, excellent coffee. The servers were awesome, smiling and very attentive. As far as the room. It was big enough but the water pressure was low and the biggest problem was the lighting in the room. Too dark and hard to see at night. Was scared to trip on the stairs going up to the bedroom. Everyone I spoke to complained about the same thing. Also, would have been nice to be able to swivel the TV around from the bedroom to the sitting area so you could watch TV in the sitting area. Would have been nice to have a seperate night club in the hotel to go dancing after the nightly shows are over instead of turning the area where you watch the shows into a dance area. Over all it was a nice hotel but it could have been awesome if some of the above could be improved. Whatever you do, do not change your staff. They are all amazing people!!! :) I would recommend this hotel but would advice whomever is going there to be aware of the issues that need to be improved as this may change your mind staying there.

Very beautiful resort.

First time at the Bavaro Princess. Our 11th vacation in the Domician. A wonderful vacation and a lovely resort. The service was excellent and the beach was spectacular. Looking forward to #12. Special thanks to Johnny, Wilfred and Socrates.

One of the best we have visited

We have had a couple of cruises which we have enjoyed immensely as well as two trips to Cuba, outside of the cruises our stay at the Bavaro Princess was definitely the best all inclusive that we have stayed at. The meals were extremely good with a lot of variety, the grounds were impeccable, the staff very courteous and our suite quite comfortable. Amanda at the Bedford Trip Central office went beyond in dealing with all our request. I cannot rate the pools as we are beach people so did not go i [... read more]nto the pool. The beach would compare to any beaches in the Caribbean especially if you like surf I have no hesitation in recommending this resort to anyone going down for the first time or even to others who have tried other resorts. Nice place

It is a nice place we were for the 5th time in this resort. Everything is good. the restaurants are a little less than the previous years but they send us to the resorts around We had 5 from 7 days red flag but this has nothing to do with the resort

Nice resort

The resort was beautiful and well taken care of. Beautiful beach and the staff clean any seaweed that washes up. The grounds were amazing and the landscape crew work hard! Majority of staff are very nice but limited on speaking English, Platinum staff speak English and was a joy to laugh with them daily, hats off to them they were great (look for Jonathan, Juan and Anna at Platinum lounge, Burgos platinum beach and Evelyn at the main Buffet restaurant). I've only given the resort 3 stars because [... read more] the food was hit and miss (definitely not 5 star quality) and the staff you come in contact with at the restaurants speaks very little English if at all. Made for difficulties when inquiring about the meals.

Beautiful resort,very clean

wasn,t happy with the first room we had there was only one queen size bed and l was staying with another girl and we were told there would be two queen size beds in the room and there was only one,l wasn,t sleeping with her for seven days so we went to customer services at the resort and they said they couldn,t do anything for us we told them to get us two queen beds and they said they couldn,t do that, that there was no such thing,so they showed us another villa with two twin beds in it and the [... read more] beds were pushed together which still wasn,t right for we still slept together because the beds were pushed together to make a queen bed even thow we slept in twin beds l wasn,t happy when we where to have a room with two queen beds plus we where to be with the group we went with and weren,t.

Awesome vacation

As this was our third stay at the Bavaro Princess, we knew already what a fabulous resort it is: fantastic beach, great food, superb service, gorgeous grounds, delicious drinks, spacious and very clean accommodations.

Beautiful lush grounds.

Loved all the pathways through this very large resort. The trees and gardens are very large and stunning. The zoological walkway was a nice added touch. This is the best beach in Punta Cana. We have travelled to 6 other resorts in this area. The service was good. The rooms nice except the beds, which were hard as rock. We never had a good night sleep because of this. It would also be better to have proper chairs and a table on the balcony or patio as the lounge chairs provided were uncomfortable [... read more]. The food was fairly decent. The staff very friendly, but there was this one Royal club sales person who was very rude and annoying every day when we left breakfast. His name is Danal or Danil I believe. When a person tells you that they are not interested this should be accepted and guests should not be hassled. Most of these sales persons were good about it except for Danil. We did get a pad for our bed but it was very thin and not much help. It is a large resort, but many trolleys to help if you do not want to walk. The casino is modern too.

Seventh time here !! Would still go back again

When I go back to the Dominican ,, I won't stay anywhere else,,, unless it's free !! My wife and I just spent 10 nights at the Bavaro princess,, (our seventh time there, platinum package ,,) the staff at the platinum lounge are just fantastic ,, Juan,, Waldor,,, Anna,,, Sarah,,, and the rest of the staff ,,, we found in general that no matter where we went in this whole resort!! The employees from maids , gardeners,maintainants people,, to servers, and bartenders,, and chefs ,,and the bell hops  [... read more],,, all very pleasent ,, friendly and willing to try and help with anything to make your stay here a good one !!! The food isn't home cooking!! But your in a different culture. If you look around the buffets you'll find plenty of food ,,, unless you only like hotdogs, fries,, burgers,,, you can get them at the beach,, at the Mac princess grill!! Which by the way is also open from 11 pm till 6am. For midnight snacks!! The beach is great,,, usually a little on the wavy side ,, but a lot of people enjoy playing in the waves,,,, great beach to walk,! At lest 1/2hour either direction,, you could go further but that was enough for me,,lol!, The grounds are well keep,, and the rooms are spacious and clean!,,,,,,, We noticed that the resort seemed to be a little more maintained then last year,,,, even saw them replacing chairs and ckecking out other furniture for ware and tier,,, Thank you Bavaro princess for another great relaxing vacation!!!

Good Times

Recently stayed at the Bavaro Princess and had a great time. The resort itself is beautifully kept from lobby to beach. The staff are great. Always a smile and always more than willing to help you out. The food was okay. Had some good meals but, most of it tasted bland after a few days. The rooms are nice and well kept. The water pressure for the in room jacuzzi is pretty funny. The beach is beautiful and very well kept. One of the bigger sections on that beach for sure. Always lots of chairs an [... read more]d you never feel crowded. Had an awesome time and would recommend this resort to anyone.

Beautiful resort

The resort was great, good food, and customer service. Rooms are beautiful. Beach are clean and so are the pools and the general resort. Very upset with Sunwing as their service at the air port leaving was bad. Wait on an answer from them.

Beautiful beach

This resort is very large but the grounds are very well kept. Birds rabbits cats run freely through the resort lush gardens. The best was the beach, white sand and beautiful ocean. Food was ok. We traveled with a family of 6 and no one was sick. Enjoyed the Italian restaurant the best. The night entertainment was a huge disappointment. Overall we had an enjoyable time.
