Haven Resort

Love it, have a Great Time, the People, The Staff, omg they go out of there way to make us feel comfortable! Love it!. I. Am planing my next trip already back there, I fall in love with the place and the People.

Very pleasant surprise

we have been to Cuba 6 times before and it was always ok...this resort was excellent...the staff was amazing...the food was actually best II have has to date in Cuba...the room was clean and adequate..we will go back here, great deal!!

Good place

Weather ,entertainment, pool were perfect ocean was good but has algies Food good no program for kids Rooms are ok Staff are nice hotel in Rural area We took trips on bike and carriage and went to coco beach which was nice

Good for the price

Some of the staff were quite friendly, the others warmed up towards the end of the week. We always had a place to sit, beach and poolside. The food was above our expectations, but you do have to like seafood to be really happy, the rest was above average (which is great considering the shortages in Cuba). We also appreciated the King Ranch (included) trip as well as visiting Camaguey. Overall, a solid 3.5 stars.

No Complaints

Rooms were spacious & clean; food was plentiful and quite tasty by Cuba standards; more seaweed on the beach and I am accustomed to, but pleasant nonetheless and there was always a lounge chair to be found (even though the resort was at full capacity). What made me happiest was the great mix of music all week.

Nice Resourt

We stayed at Brisas Santa Lucia in December – just came back. Almost everything was beyond our expectations: very nice people, clean and spacious room, delicious food, very well maintained property etc etc. On the negative side: very shallow water, which could be a plus for small kids. However, you can get a ride to a wonderful Coco beach anytime or take a pedal boat and get to the crystal clear deep water... Definitely - we’ll return! Alex

Comfortable Resort

This being my 12th time to Brisas Santa Lucia, I've gotten to know what to expect when travelling to Cuba ... you go for the sun, relaxation and the friendly people. This was no different this time .. these people work their butts off to keep you happy and entertained. I did find the food selection was a little off this trip and when I questioned it, was told the Supplier didn't have things so they weren't able to provide it to the clients  [... read more]t 6 days for mojitios and a staple of french fries at the snack bar we only had for the first 3 days>. The burgers they served at the snack bar were sometimes undercooked so you had to be careful, but then told they weren't beef but were chicken and that was the reason they looked pink. At the main buffet .. one evening they had beef on the grill and 20 minutes after the buffet opened they ran out and started serving pork again. That being said I am still a huge supporter of this resort and will return over and over.

Met expectations

If you are looking for an economical party vacation then this resort will meet your expectations. The resort is clean but very outdated. The food is O.K. but not great. For the price it is a fantastic deal unless you are looking for a 4-5 star resort. This resort is 3 stars at best .

Amazing resort

Everything looks wonderful, nice land scaping, great food, warm welcome, and excelent service. Clean rooms, needs to be little updated and upgraded. It was an worryless trip, relaxing with nice experiance.

Truly beautiful

The resort is spectacular! Every aspect is top notch from the beautiful gardens, to huge pool, fabulous beach, magnificent buffets and excellent musicians at the nightly shows. The extra features such as boat rides, bicycles and kayaking were greatly enjoyed. The room was deluxe as well

Exquisite Experience

My wife and I stayed at Brisas for 2 weeks and we were amazed at how helpful, friendly and wonderful everyone on staff was to us! It made our 10 yr anniversary celebration a truly unforgettable time! Thank you to all of the beautiful people at Brisas!

All inclusive resort

Real value for the money spent. Friendly staff and good service. The food was bit too salty for my taste. I would advice those who like it hot to take some hot sauce with you. Rooms are clean and well attended too. A really nice place to unwind and enjoy. Just had one day of rain, still worth.

Good resort

Rooms good size pool great beach could be amazing if cleaned everyday lots of chairs and lounges to lye on. Hotel very dated but clean. Lots of places to hang out at. Biggest issue is food but this is a problem with most of cuba. No bacon no potatoes for breakfast prepared proteins not done well would be nice if lobster was offered at extra price at hotel instead of having to go off resort to get. But over all great resort for the price!

Sixth time to this resort.

This resort is like going home, in Cuba. My family and friends like this resort as well. There is so much to do, ride bikes into town, take a scooter to Coco Beach, snorkeling right at the resort, have a wonderful lobster dinner at a local restaurant. The people at the resort are the best ever. When we were at the resort in September, one of the buffet staff asked if we were friends with one of the staff currently not there. The next night while in the buffet, the employee had contacted our friend on her cell phone and allowed us to talk to him. How thoughtful was that. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing special. The food is decent. The pizza at lunch and dinner in the buffet is exceptional. The snack bar is always a good option. Best burgers. Give this report a try. Beautiful water

This resort is getting tired. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly and very accommodating. The water is very clean and clear for snorkeling right off the beach. The air conditioning in the a la cart restaurants was not working very well during our one week stay.

Awesome Vacation

I enjoyed the hotel, the layout was wonderful, small and quaint - clean, and the entertainment in the evening was really good, the food is typical Cuban food, most of the time there was a great variety.

Feel like you are at home!

I have been to this hotel many times and they always make me feel at home. Last visit I needed the doctor and I had very prompt service and he would check on me every time he saw me. I will return again!

Exactly what we were looking for!

Sometimes you just want to get away from the cold, relax, and not have to worry about anything. Brisas Santa Lucia was perfect for a week-long getaway. My friend and I were treated with courtesy from the moment we arrived. We asked for a room change since the first room we were offered had previously been occupied by a smoker. After being showed a couple of rooms, we ended up choosing one on the second floor with a sea-view balcony - perfect! The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a go [... read more]od shower. The beach was great. Some areas had seaweed on them, but for the most part all the resorts along that stretch rake the sand regularly. One of my favorite activities was taking the 45 minute walk to the pier and back each morning. The color of the ocean was this amazing turquoise blue! Now I know you want to hear about the food! My friend and I tend to be on the healthy side, and we were not disappointed with the options available at the daily buffet. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, grilled fish, cold cuts and salads kept us happy. You also have the option for a huge variety of prepared foods, and the dessert table offered lots of baked treats, ice cream and custards. The bar offered a good selection of quality drinks and beers. My favorite was a nice Cointreau on ice to be sipped by the courtyard fountain before dinner. You can also get a shot of liqueur in your morning espresso or americano at the poolside coffee bar. Ladies are given a fresh flower for their hair by the barrista each morning. It is the small details like these that added up to make our stay just that little bit more special. All in all, a perfect getaway from the winter cold.

Not to good

the rooms need fixing and the grounds were great and more stafe to be watching what goes on in the pool staf that knows how to fix things in rooms the resort is out of date and needs updateing . and staff that speck more enghish

Amazing service

This resort was great overall. We are a young couple that don't like a huge party scene. The resort was really nice and the entertainment staff were great at night and throughout the day by the pool too! The service was great and the a la carte restaurans were really good. The 24hr bar service was so good and the food was amazing! We had some trouble with our door locking but the staff came and changed the entire thing for us.
