Amazing Resort ! Full Relaxation and recharging your battery ! No any covid restrictions ! Happy people are around you. Friendly staff. No highrise buildings with elevators. Not crowded resort. Most of tourists are from Canada and Germany I wish to stay longer. Cheers !

Place to relax like royalty.

We stay at this resort many times . Usually in Royal service. It is worth every penny. Beautiful lush gardens. Gorgeous lobby and swimming pool over looking ocean. Clean beautiful rooms with outdoor shower. Staff is amazing will do for you anything any time . Food is fantastic. We love this place because it is quite and the beach is not busy. No loud music no disco in royal section… just peaceful. Definitely place to visit. Staff is amazing!!!!!!!

An Excellent Resort!

A great resort with something to offer everyone. Beautiful grounds and gardens, very well kept. A lovely beach with lots of loungers and umbrellas. The rooms are large and comfortable with a well-appointed bathroom and a large walk-in shower. The staff in all areas of the resort are the best. They are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The evening musical bands were sensational! I will return!

Great vacation

It's been my first time in this resort and definitely not the last one. I love this hotel! The pool was clean, the beach was beautiful, the service was amazing, the other tourists were interesting personalities. Most of people who I met there were either doctors or engineers or accountants which made me think that the hotel worth paying price higher than for other resorts. The food was good, it was a standard Cuban choice of meals in the restaurants, maybe variety was even larger than in othe [... read more]r hotels, all food was fresh. Some "Covid-time" techniques were adopted and were still in use, for example juices were in glass bottles, yogurts were in small glass jars, salads and meat slices were on small plates what added extra convenience we didn't have years ago. Also, there was a Japanese restaurant where we could get some sushi. Entertainment was great and far beyond the expectations. Vasti, Annabelle, Marianni, Meliza, Dayane and everybody else from the team did amazing job with keeping everyone occupied. I've tried yoga, beach volleyball, aquatic aerobics, walks around the hotel and everything was enjoyable. The night shows were not bad, the best of them was the Aquatic Show, it was amazing! The room was clean and spacious, all equipment worked well, no complaints at all. The only issue I had during vacation is getting some bug's/fly's bites on the legs, but I got them in other resorts too, perhaps it is common to get those "marks" in Cuba. Overall, the vacation was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. ------------- Not the hotel related, but there was another good surprise which came from Hola Sun and the OWG airline: we had HOT MEALS IN THE PLANE!!! That's what we hadn't had for years and it's now back. That part made vacation even brighter :)

Great Relaxing Holiday

We were at this resort from Nov 3-17, 2022. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Resort is well spread out and grounds well maintained. Large clean pools. dining very good with a very good variety to choose from. Staff is amazing. Met many repeat customers.

Amazing Hotel 🏨

Beautiful Hotel, With great staff. Very well maintained. Exceptional management. Good food an for me, it's home away from home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to be in a quiet beautiful gorgeous scenery vacation

Resort is very good

THe Manager and Staff are very good. they attend to any issues you may have. Dining is good. Entertainment is good but more shows are needed. rooms are clean and comfortable. stay was enjoyale. will return for sure

Impeccable

Amazing resort, room was specious and very clean. The grounds were kept very clean. The fact that everything was with 5min waking distance was a huge plus . Spa area and services were impeccable, rates for messages, pedi etc are very inexpensive and when booking a service you get access of the spa area, salt water pool, hot tub, private beach . Food , although there was definitely a lack of variety due to Cuba not getting supplies the food that was prepared was extremely good Zero complaints  [... read more]In regards the food. The people in the resort were amazing . I had a late flight the hotel gave me the room until 4 pm at no cost to me If you want peace and tranquility this is the place . Did I mention that the swim with dolphins is a mere 7min away and aquarium is build in the ocean

Restful Holiday

We started off with a Junior Luxury Oceanview suite, however it was very tired and had an odor from being closed up for so long. We were lucky to be able to upgrade to the Royal Service and this did not disappoint! The beach is nice, but nicer beach if you walk down further. Strangely the adult only Royal Service beach is also a public beach that was frequented by local families. Food was ok, we did not starve. You need to go with an open mind and accept pretty much what is presented to you.  [... read more] A La Carte's require men to wear long pants, however it was acceptable to wear track pants, pajamas, acid wash ripped jeans, but linen shorts is a strict NO NO! No COVID concerns. We enjoyed our time there. Would not likely go return...so many other options out there.

Expectations met

A civilized, beautiful and well-maintained place with friendly stuff, a comfortable room, tasty food. A nearby beach will not disappoint even a picky guy. Pool water was clear, but I didn't swim in the pool. I came to Cuba to swim in "real water" of the Atlantic Ocean.

We Love This Resort !

It was so wonderful to finally be able to go back. My sister, brother and I have been travelling to Cuba for years. This was our 4th time to this resort. Staff are so warm and kind. Beach is fantastic ! Pool and surrounding grounds are well kept and pleasing to the eyes. Rooms are very clean with lots of attention to detail. Amazing resort

We have been at this resort about 24 to 28 times. We arrived the first week it opened in 1999 and have been going ever since. This trip was expected to be very differennt but we were very surprised except for a few slight things it was just as wonderful as always

The best staff and service ever!!

Absolutely breath taking beaches, the staff are truly amazing! We stayed on the Royal service side and it was everything we could have hoped for! Cubans are so friendly, we felt safe and the hotel was super clean.

Amazing Resort

The hotel lobby and restaurants were absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, as was the landscaping.. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with a freshen up.. It was exceptionally clean and pest free! (A huge worry for me). The food was delicious, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.. The buffet and al a cart restaurants had great selections.. The staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Nice resort but wouldn't call it 5 star

Resort is large with clean grounds, pool and rooms. Beach was nice although small. Snorkling right from shore viewing nice coral and rock formation with various fish. Resort had very few guests so no issues finding shade at the beach or pool. 21hrs of wifi given which seemed to work almost everywhere. Farthest point on the beach, wifi didn't work. No resort map given at check in. Had to wait a while for bell boy to drive us to our rooms, mean while we could have easily walked to our rooms as it was close to the lobby. No list of drinks at any of the 4 bars. I'm not a big alcoholic drinker so wouldn't know what to order or try. Evening shows was small and disappointed. They didn't even use the large stage(may be covid related or due to very few guests). Food was limited and very repetitive (may be due to covid and world wide shortages). Repeat guests said this is not normal. Cable TV has many Spanish stations with few English speaking, if it's working as it went dead several times. Water leaked from bathroom ceiling in last 2 days from AC unit.

Great beach

Great grounds, beach, coral reef not what it used to be, much less fish.Service very slow in Royal side, takes 1 to 2 hours each meal,plus meals almost never what you ordered (with or without tips), plus some restaurants serve fish that is so dry, that with each bite you have to drink a lot of water. Buffet is great, less selection than before, only dinner is not every night like before. Food tastes far better than in Royal service. A very special place

We have stayed at this resort many times, we keep coming back because we love it that much. This was our first trip post -covid and exceeded our expectations. It was great to see the same staff all still working and providing truly outstanding service. We stayed at the Royal Service side and would highly recommend that for anyone thinking of it. Awesome resort!

This Resort is one l would like to return to for many reasons. A few are the welcoming and polite staff. The staff have as a whole highly impressed me. The food was good. Enough variety that you could eat something different each day. The beach was as all Cuban beaches are, just amazing. They are very aware of what they need to do to keep the Covid standards. And they willingly comply for our safety. I would recommend this resort to everyone. We had one of the best holidays.

Quiet and Attentive!

My third trip to Cuba and would absolutely stay at this resort again! The people were just lovely and friendly and really made the whole experience wonderful for us. Food for breakfast and lunch was fantastic - lots to choose from! Dinner was a but repetitive but not unexpected in Cuba and still good. The beach is just perfect for snorkeling and windsurfing or sailing. We will definitely be back!
