Now a 3 star

This was our third time at Don Lino and it wont be our last. We are a senior couple and we love the relaxing atmosphere of this resort. If you are looking for night life then this is not the resort for you. There is no bank so you have to change your money at the airport or take a buggy ride to a bank in the village. While we were there it was put to a three star and it is well deserved. The staff are great and will help in any way they can. Angel, Ruben and Jesus are bartenders there and they a [... read more]re the best. We stayed the first time in the newer buildings. Then the last two times we stayed in the older rooms and like them the best. The food is average but lots of it and you can always find something to eat. There is a snack bar where you can get fries, hotdogs, hamburgers and grilled cheese. We will be going back in Dec for a couple of weeks and wish it could be longer.

Very nice quiet little hotel

I stayed in the hotel with my family in December 2013. The staff was very friendly. The service and food were quit good although I noticed that tourists that tipped received service quicker. Local band was playing every some evenings and there was entertainment other nights. The gargest minus is that the sweaming area has very rocky bottom and one needs sweaming shoes.
